I met this weirdo today. I’ve seen her a couple of times in our neighborhood but today was the first time I stopped to say hi. She’s friendly and likes to bend her tail into shapes like spirals and inverted U’s. I’m gonna call her Twistedtail until I learn her real name.

Peregrinesong watched as Graypaw snuck up behind Whitestar, filled with pride.

She knew what happened to Runningstar and Bigclaw - Flightsky told her. She dropped Twistedtail's corpse off near the border, deciding that she'd let Flightsky dispose of it.

She had spent the past moon digging a hole barely outside of ShadowClan's territory - Her plan was to slit Whitestar's throat, then drop him in said hole, leaving him to suffocate as many times as needed. This wouldn't be her murder.

Shortly before Graypaw became an apprentice, one apprentice named Redpaw came to her & He was a frequent visitor, constantly covered in cuts. Peregrinesong worried for him, and sat beside him one day, alone in the comfy medicine den. Feeling secure, Redpaw spit out everything that was happening.

His mentor and uncle, Spottedtail, would train him too roughly, brutually attacking Redpaw until he'd scream and cry, blood running down his pelt, which would cause Spottedtail to laugh, degrade him, and deliver a final slash.

Peregrinesong hated that.

The day after Redpaw told Peregrinesong about what his mentor did to him, Spottedtail was severely wounded by a cat he couldn't quite get the appearance or scent of. The day after, he caught greencough and was quarantined.

He was found dead at sunhigh.

Peregrinesong smiled to herself. Only she knew what truly happened to Spottedtail, and she'd keep it a secret for as long as she lived. That event made her hate leaders, made her hate deputies. Twistedtail and Whitestar noticed Redpaw's wounds, but did nothing, only offering the most pathetic attempt at comfort. She would get revenge on them, for Redpaw. She'd ensure that no one else would ever go through what he did.

She shared those thoughts with Graypaw, who ended up having the same feelings. So, the mentor and apprentice set out to become leader.

Graypaw lunged at Whitestar. As he was pinned down, Peregrinesong padded towards him.

"Nighty-night," She whispered to him, before raking her claws across his throat.

Unlike their siblings whose personalities are very apparent, Sheepstorm is a cat who is very difficult to read. They speak very slowly and monotonous, making everything they utter sound intimidating. They first come off as someone who takes everything seriously to the point where they would dislike any sort of fun, however the case is quite the opposite. When they’re seen sitting atop a hill, contemplating about important things, they’re actually just being lazy and avoiding duties. Kits tend to avoid them because of their uncertain and frightening vibe, but apprentices adore them for often acting like a fun-loving kit. They’ll take apprentices to the coolest spots, go easy on the training, and can sometimes be found playing with bugs and leaves. Even though they are as playful as a kit, they are not childish. They know when it’s time to be serious, and can even be more mature than some of the other warriors in the clan.

TRIVIA: They have always wanted to be leader as a kit, but upon realizing that their siblings will surpass them they have given up on that dream.

Your sister’s lawyer is actually surprised to hear from you, but he listens tentatively to your inquiry about having legal backup just in case things don’t go your way with Namjoon and Jimin. You were actually surprised when his secretary transferred your call to his office no sooner than you told her who you were; evidently she remembered you from the other day, despite the fact that she paid little attention to you as you waited feet away from her desk that day.

Despite your worry that Mr. Lee would be unable to help you (or rather, unwilling to help), he had readily agreed to lend his services, should you require them. He had explained that since there had been a delay in reading your sister’s Will and finding out that you had full ownership of the two hybrids, you were well within your rights to overturn any decision that the shelter made in regards to Namjoon and Jimin. Mr. Lee was quite positive that the shelter wouldn’t put up much of a fight should push come to shove, brushing your worries away over any kind of possible trial in the future.

You didn’t want to put the two through something like that. They’d been traumatized enough.

Once you’d gotten off the phone, you could breathe a little easier knowing that you had back-up, that the shelter wouldn’t just be able to handle the hybrids off to some stranger. You hoped it wouldn’t come down to getting lawyers involved.

Pinching the bridge of your nose, you sigh softly.

“Y/N?” Namjoon’s voice startles you from your thoughts, turning around to look at the two hybrids. They’re both where you left them on the couch, Jimin having scooted closer to Namjoon. The cat was rubbing his cheek against the elder’s shoulder, Jimin’s eyes half-lidded as he watched you across the room. “Is everything alright?”

Initially I thought Twistedtail had some sort of deformity that made her tail curl up weird but no, she can straighten it out like most other cats. I've never met a cat who does this and I have absolutely no idea why she's different. I really hope it's a behavioral thing because any problem with the tail translates into problems with the spine.
