Amy didn’t know why she was so nervous. She hadn’t been so nervous about a party sense high school. Maybe because it was in a rented out penthouse? She felt the need to impress. She did not feel confident.
She stepped into the elevator and tried to silently pump herself up. But it all went out the window when Sofia shuffled passed her. Sofia? Sofia!? Great. Maybe Amy wasn’t nervous for no reason, maybe Amy was just Psychic. Was it too late to go home?

After nearly two days of guiltily avoiding Marc and Sofia,Amy finally got the guts to do what she had to. She invited Sofia over to breaks things off to her face. Amy didn’t want to leave it up to a text, she didn’t think anybody deserved that. She told Sophia that that kiss at the party may have been a drunken mistake, and that they needed to cut ties with each other from here on out. Even after all the weird bullshit Sophia pulled on her this year, the heartbreak Amy saw on her face was almost too much to bear.
Once she left, Amy texted Marc and told him to come over. All she had to do now was fess up to him and then it could all be behind them. Right? ....right?

Amy was very very grateful that Goodwin stepped in when he did. Amy had froze in fear, but thanks to their presence she snapped back into action before she lost her kitchen.
However, he and Sinbad really know how to overstay their welcome. They got way too comfortable WAY too fast.

No, this was wrong.
Amy ran away. She didn’t know how to handle this. She was wrecked with so much guilt and regret. What would she tell Marc? Should she tell him at all?

Marc had an overwhelming time at the winter festival!
ZOMBIE!
He met some cool people, though. Maybe he should invite Dilly or Buddy out again sometime. He could really use more friends.

Marc has always been the more superstitious sort. When the anxiety over his commitments to his art and Amy grew to be too much, it made sense for him to seek guidance from the local psychic. Sitting in that dark, closet-sized, incense-choked room he really expected to hear something more profound than what he got: which was to dig deep, suck it up, and commit even more.
Commit even more? Like how? Like get a third commitment? Like get a pet? fine, He’ll get a pet. Now if he doesn’t sell enough paintings they’ll BOTH starve...
Marc wasn’t so sure about psychics anymore.

They had been avoiding each other as usual sense the plane landed... but after a few very stressed hints from their mother, they realized they had to stop being weird and at least grab lunch. Their mom spent her hard earned savings for them to bond and everything, right? Right?
At first it was really awkward. Aside from their general hot and cold reactions to each other, they frankly didn’t have a lot in common. But after settling into their meal, they got the privilege of eavesdropping on a local very rudely break up with her boyfriend. That got them comfortable. It lightened Newton’s mood, anyway, that’s for sure. If Lincoln hadn’t kicked him, he would have filmed the show to take home.

First day of vacation was not spent recovering from jet lag. Mary dragged Lincoln with her to a wine tasting, why Newton went on to “do his own thing.” Mary thought he meant poke around some shops. Newton had...other things in mind, however.
Poor Mary wished she left Lincoln at the hotel too. It took him all of five minutes to start putting the moves on the cashier. She ended up doing most of tasting by herself, anyway!

Over the weekend, Newton got over it. It stung to know he and Lolly would only ever be ‘just friends’,but after the wound dried up he realized that that wasn’t a bad deal at all.  He loved hanging out with her, and not just because he thought she wanted to kiss him. Why would he throw it away?
and besides that lolly was pretty questionable sometimes. One time she gave him a juice box full of blood! Who just has those?? This isn’t Bridgeport! Maybe it was better that she wasn’t interested.

Gwayne noticed the change right away, but at first she didn’t believe it. Skeet’s gotten into the rare cleaning mood before, usually when he wants something-- But, to her surprise, the days turned to a week and then two weeks, and Skeet was still trying his hardest. It wasn’t always spotless, but he made sure the kitchen and dining table where clean every night no matter what. Consistently. After 15 years together, she never expected that!
It may seem small to a stranger, but the courtesy was huge to her once she accepted it as real. She didn’t realize the weight she felt about coming home until it was lifted off of her. She needed that wake up call. She decided it was time to be frank with Skeet about disciplining the children. Her job was starting to look more like a career, and it wasn’t just dishes she needed help with.
