Benefits of cleaning your skin
In the world of skincare, regular skin cleansing with Twachaa skincare products is critical for maintaining healthy looking skin. Here is why facial cleansing is so important to keep the skin healthy.
Removing build up
A common benefit of cleansing the face with Twachaa skincare products is the removal of oil, dirt, and other unwanted dwad cells. Throughout the day, our face continually comes in contact with pollutants, dirt, bacteria, viruses, and old (dead) skin cells. Washing your face daily removes these impurities to give the skin a fresh look. Without proper cleaning, your skin would be covered with a thick layer of soot and dirt which make it difficult for other skin care products to penetrate the skin.
Boosting hydration
Along with the use of a good moisturizer, regular facial cleansing is an important factor that helps in retaining the hydration & maintain the required level of minerals. Dehydrated skin feels and looks rough, aged and wrinkled. Cleansing helps manage pH levels of the skin; enabling sufficient Twachaa skin cosmetics and water retention.
Maintaining clear skin
Tiny glands under the skin secrete an oil called sebum to protect the skin from harmful chemicals and outside agents present in the atmosphere. These glands use hair follicles within the skin as a pathway to form a barrier that prevents the penetration of harmful agents or other bacteria by allowing only the oil to reach the surface of the skin.
Excessive dirt builds up on the surface & blocks the follicle, trapping sweat, sebum, and dead skin cells. Lack of sebum on the surface of the skin allows bacteria to penetrate the follicle causing inflammation & resulting in acne.
Proper cleansing of the skin with Twachaa skincare products clears pores of debris & prevents dirt from building up, allowing the sebum oil to reach the skin surface unhindered; minimizing the chances of a breakout. Using a gentle face wash to clean your face daily is essential to keep the skin healthy, avoid acne & other skin problems.

How to get rid of hyperpigmentation?
You have got great skin but the one thing that stops you from stepping out without any makeup naturally with hyperpigmentation. However, hyperpigmentation is harmless and can be treated topically:
1. Exfoliate
If you regularly exfoliate the area around your mouth gently with an exfoliator, it can help lighten the skin and removes dead cells. Choose a chemical exfoliant that won’t scrape the skin which in turn may worsen the condition.
2. Skin brightening creams
Skin brightening creams can be an effective solution to lessen the dark area around the mouth. Look for ingredients such as kojic acid, vitamin C, glabridin (a licorice extract), grape seed extract, azelaic acid, arbutin, curcumin or niacinamide. These ingredients help by blocking the production of tyrosinase which is needed to make melanin.
3. Medically prescribed ointments
You should consult a dermatologist if other remedies don't work. Your dermatologist may prescribe hydroquinone containing ointments. This drug slows down tyrosinase production by restricting the cells that make the pigment, which makes the dark spots fade faster (in a week or so). There is a range of Twachaa skincare products which help in reducing hyperpigmentation.
4. Laser treatments
Laser treatments in Faridabad are an effective way of getting rid of dark areas. Results of laser treatments also depend on your sun exposure, skincare routine and your genes.
Fraxel laser treatment is used to treat pigmentation. It is a microscopic, topical laser treatment that promotes collagen and elastin regeneration. It is effective in resurfacing the skin tone and reducing dark spots.
5. Acid Peels
Your dermatologist may recommend a glycolic acid or salicylic acid peel to treat the dark skin around your mouth. However, the pigmentation can return as these peels do not offer a permanent solution. These peels repair the damaged cells by penetrating deep into the skin. Post-treatment precautions like applying sunscreen, staying out of the sun and protecting the skin can make the effect of the peels last longer.
6. Natural Remedies
You can also use natural remedies like oatmeal scrub, lemon juice, papaya, aloe vera to treat the dark skin. Most of these natural ingredients can be found in your kitchen. Unless you have an allergy to any of these, you can try using them to get rid of the pigmented skin.
There can be many reasons that cause pigmentation from sun exposure to melasma during pregnancy and side effects of medicines. This can be treated with Twachaa skincare products and the dark patches can be done away with permanently. You can use the above-mentioned ways to treat hyperpigmentation along with Twachaa skincare products for best results.

How to choose the best face wash for oily skin?
Do you have a greasy, shiny face even after cleansing? It is time to switch your face wash that's made for your oily skin & for that you should understand how you can choose the best face wash for oily skin.
Are you sure about your skin type?
Before switching your face wash, you must know about your skin type. There are four major skin types - oily, dry, normal and combination. You might feel oily towards your T-zone – a part of your face that is made up of the nose, chin, forehead and area circling the mouth. This area is called the T-Zone because it shaped like the letter T. Most times, the T-Zone is oiler than the rest of the face because it has a higher amount of oil glands – even if you have normal skin. Whereas there is oiliness all over the face in oily skin type.
What is oily skin?
In the dermal layer of your skin, the sebaceous glands secrete sebum. When the sebaceous glands are hyperactive, they produce excess oil causing skin to be oily. No one can control how much sebum their skin makes. However, it’s possible to manage it.
How to choose the right face wash for your skin?
For healthy skin, it is advised to choose a face wash that is:
Light Weight
Non-comedogenic
Gentle
Fragrance Free
Sulfate Free
Ingredients to look out for in face wash for oily skin
1. Salicylic Acid
Salicylic acid contains beta hydroxy acid which helps remove excess oils (sebum) from the skin. It clears the top layer of the skin to remove dead skin cells and excess oil that builds up. However, it can sometimes make your skin unusually dry.
2. Benzoyl Peroxide
Benzoyl peroxide removes the excess sebum from the skin by using an exfoliating agent and prevents the development of acne. Benzoyl peroxide can lead to redness and dryness. You should always consult a dermatologist before using Benzoyl peroxide because it may cause redness or dryness.
3. Glycolic Acid
Glycolic acid contains alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) which is used in a variety of moisturizers, face washes and toners. It is derived from sugarcane & has a good penetrating effect which is useful for oily skin. Glycolic acid prevents pores from clogging which may lead to breakouts on the skin.
4. Niacinamide
A form of vitamin B3, Niacinamide offers a lot of benefits. It controls the existing acne on oily skin and also controls the production of sebum. If you have some allergy, Niacinamide cream may aggravate them.
You should consider your skin type, medical history, allergies before choosing a face wash for oily skin, it is best to consult a dermatologist or choose a face wash which is curated for your skin type.

Dry Needling Therapy: An overview
Trigger Point Dry Needling (TDN) commonly known as Dry needling, is a technique used for the treatment of myofascial pain with a solid filiform needle. A dry needle is used without medication which is inserted through the skin into the trigger points of the muscles. A trigger point is a band of dysfunctional muscle tissue which can be a result of overuse, muscular imbalances, postural abnormalities, or nerve impingement. Trigger points are associated with bursitis, tendinitis, and neurological impingement of the spine among other things.
Dry needling therapy emerged from trigger point injections: to induce relaxation, a corticosteroid or an anesthetic is injected into a trigger point. But there is a limit to how often these drugs can be injected into the body. Researches were conducted to observe the response of a trigger point when just a needle was inserted. After it was proven that inserting a dry needle induces a similar response, a new form of treatment was developed. One of the major findings was that the spontaneous electrical activity (SAE) of a trigger point – which gets elevated when compared to normal muscle tissue – is mitigated from just the stimulation from the metal needle. Increased SAE at a trigger point is what induces muscle spasm or keeps such tissue in a contracted state. The therapy allows the trigger point to relax to its normal resting phase. In some cases, it relaxes trigger points immediately, resulting in an instant improvement in muscle tightness, and pain levels. It may also take multiple treatments to achieve a lasting effect.
Does Dry Needling hurt?
Depending on what tissues are being treated, each patient describes the experience differently. Mostly, patients don’t feel the needle penetrating the skin and the treatment is painless. People feel deep cramping of the muscle that the needle was inserted into along with some involuntary muscle twitches which is termed as the local twitch response (LTR) and means that it is positively affecting the target tissue. Most of the time, the patient is no longer aware that the needles are even inserted as the needle stays in the tissue causing these sensations to subside.
Dry needling therapy can only be operated by a licensed healthcare specialist who has passed the appropriate standard requirements. Physical therapists must have at least two years of clinical experience before they can perform dry needling therapy.
Dry needling therapy has proven to have many physiological mechanisms to reduce pain and disability:
Local Mechanical Effects
Tenting, winding, or needle grasps to disrupt and deform fibroblasts within the neighbouring collagen tissue inducing an increased opioid-mediated response.
Local twitch response causes an improved range of motion, decreased muscle contraction, and mobilizing collagen restrictions within the muscle and fascia.
Electrophysiological Effects
Reduced spontaneous electrical activity (SEA) at the active trigger point.
Improved neuromuscular timing and activation.
Neurophysiological Effects
Increased pressure pain thresholds.
Stimulation causes decreased inhibition of the descending sensory pain pathways.
Chemical/Cellular Effects
Due to a decrease in vascular compression, improved blood flow to tissues and nerves.
Immune system and inflammatory responses are initiated.
Although dry needling therapy has been around for many years, it is a relatively new treatment to many. DN is being used successfully to treat headaches, neck pain, low back pain, knee osteoarthritis, plantar fasciitis, sacroiliac joint pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, rotator cuff tendonitis and many other common musculoskeletal conditions.

Misconceptions About Laser Tattoo Removal
A tattoo, that was once considered to be a permanent mark on the body, is now removable with the help of specialized Laser treatment for tattoo removal and leave people with a clean slate. Numerous methods have been used over time to remove tattoos, but laser tattoo removal is certainly considered the most effective and safe procedure to remove a tattoo. The laser works by delivering powerful and short pulses of energy to the tattoo, which break the ink particles. Our body’s immune system responds to the laser treatment by clearing all the broken ink particles over the course of a few weeks.
The most effective method of tattoo removal is through laser, but many people have misconceptions about the procedure and individuals are apprehensive about going through the treatment. Here are some common misconceptions about laser tattoo removal:
Tattoo removal creams are as effective as laser tattoo removal
There has been no significant evidence to prove that ointments like wrecking balm, rejuvi, pro fad, etc. effectively remove ink from tattoos. In most cases, these creams use other abrasive chemicals or bleach to mask the tattoo instead of removing any of the ink particles. Once the tattoo’s ink is settled into deep layers of the skin, these creams are ineffective in penetrating deep layers.
Laser treatment for tattoo removal leaves scars
The risk of scarring is very low if proper protocol is followed. It’s important to consult with laser specialists; these specialists will use a recommended amount of energy and ensure that the scarring doesn’t happen. Specialists also recommend a gap of at least 6 to 8 weeks between two consecutive sessions to ensure proper healing of the skin.
Laser hair removal and Laser treatment for tattoo removal are similar
Laser tattoo removal often uses some of the same wavelengths as some laser hair removal, but the duration of the pulse differs. The pulse from a tattoo removal laser is about a million times weaker than that of a hair removal laser. Due to these differences, hair removal lasers are inappropriate to use for tattoo removal. It will direct a pulse of energy that lasts for much too long, potentially scarring the skin and causing thermal injury.
New tattoos cannot be removed
Fresh tattoos can also be treated as long as there are no scabs and the skin has completely healed. Contrary to the popular belief, it’s beneficial to treat new tattoos because the ink is in the top layer of the skin in new tattoos, which is easier to treat. Most people will need around 4 weeks of healing time before beginning laser tattoo removal treatment, but the time may vary.
Tattoos will come off with just one Laser treatment for tattoo removal
No one has the means to completely break all the ink particles in a single session. There are various factors – like the type of ink used in tattooing, the amount of ink in the tattoo, the depth of the ink, any scar tissue present in the tattooed skin – influencing the treatment and the number of sessions someone will need to remove a tattoo completely.
Laser treatment for tattoo removal is a process which requires time and commitment, but it is the most effective technology for permanent tattoo removal.
