Tumblr and other blog spaces
Seeing a few people on my dashboard worried about Tumblr's future. I'm thinking about making a small Blogger tutorial on how to use it at a later time. Till then, here's a tidbit of what I know from using Blogger since 2010.
Blogger is free, requires a Google account, but it is old as fuck.
My Blogger page: Sketching with Reckless Abandon
Blogger is very archaic, like there is no easy way to find other blogs except through some random search engine. Formatting on Blogger's post editor is not great. Images sometimes break or glitch and sometimes delete paragraphs. Also, labels on Blogger are not the same as tags on Tumblr: they are only for your blog's organization. Sometimes search engines can use your labels for their results but I'm not sure how well that works in today's internet.
Blogger's dev blog was last updated in 2020, so I'm not even sure if there's any support for future updates. Blogger still works, lol.
Blogger's dashboard is the Reading List and is out of the way of your main page of Blogger, which usually shows your entire history of your blog posts. The Reading List shows a list of blogs you follow, their posts shortened for compact display. To follow other blogs based on Blogger: first you need to find a blog (either .blogspot or .blogger), then paste the home url in your Reader List > Manage > Mangage Blogs I'm Following page. Use this page to unfollow blogs.
Old as fuck website aside, Blogger is good for Artists (if you use a blog template that favors your images) and Writers (Blogger is a long form blogging website like Tumblr, though in theory I don't think Blogger has a post cap). It is possible to use Blogger as an archive, provided you keep things organized and up to date. Like with some templates on Tumblr, you can use some templates on Blogger to make your blog into a webpage or portfolio site. Setup is a little finicky, though.
Use labels to organize your blog, don't use labels as tags or talk in tags - this will mess up your blog's organization and will be hell to clean up. I suggest not to use it as a micro-blogging platform. Small posts within a short amount of time will flood Reader Lists.
You do not have to worry (somewhat) about awkward censorship there, but still follow Blogger's TOS. 18+ art and content must have Adult Content enabled in settings. If you are an 18+ creator, I suggest reading the Community Guidelines before making a blog on Blogger.
Moderation on these blogs are extremely basic. Like, you just have some basic moderation on your comments. You can hide comments on individual posts.
Also, it's possible Blogger might break a few posts. It's rare, but it would explain why my earliest posts from 2010-2013 don't have me as the author. I can still edit them, but can't change author. It might be because I had a Google+ account back then before Google deprecated it. Anyway, today Blogger uses my main Google account as the author of my recent posts.
There is no way to share posts easily, except copying other posts and linking them in your blog post (talk about it, so it's not just a link). To interact with others, just comment (if available) under blog posts. Make sure your comment is set to public (either your google acc or name with url). If you want to comment anonymously, you can do that as well.
Blogger's biggest pro is its Stats page. It shows you how many views you got for your blog and your posts, and it also shows detailed information on what keywords/labels that helped bring views to your blog. Might want to get used to using SEO techniques.
You can monetize the blog with Google Adsense, but you might need to find an updated way to get it started - I never set mine up and I'm not sure if that still works for this site.
That's it for right now.

Turn Your Photos into a Steady Income Stream
Tumblr media
In today’s digital world, a picture is worth far more than a thousand words — it can be worth real, steady income. Whether you're a professional photographer or just love snapping great shots with your smartphone, you have an incredible opportunity: turn your photos into a reliable revenue stream.
With the growing demand for authentic, high-quality images for websites, blogs, advertising, and social media, your photo collection could be more valuable than you think. Let’s dive into practical strategies to monetize your photography skills while also highlighting some platforms that can support your digital journey.
1. Sell Your Photos on Stock Photography Sites
The most common way photographers earn passive income is by uploading their images to stock photo websites. Every time someone downloads your image, you earn a commission.
Popular platforms include:
Shutterstock
Adobe Stock
iStock
Alamy
However, if you're serious about maximizing your exposure and revenue, you should also think about creating your own selling platform. Many entrepreneurs are buying premium domains to set up photography portfolios and shops. If you need a memorable domain for your photo business, check out Panda-Fog.com — a marketplace for powerful domain names that can set you apart online.
2. Start Your Own Photography Website
Having your own website to showcase and sell your work not only increases your credibility but also allows you to keep 100% of the profits (no commissions to stock agencies!).
Here's what you’ll need:
A domain name (again, Panda-Fog.com can help you find a strong brand name)
Hosting service
A clean, visually appealing portfolio template
E-commerce functionality for direct sales
Additionally, you can enhance your website's SEO and discoverability by writing blog posts about photography tips, your creative process, and client stories. This builds trust and brings organic traffic.
If you’re looking for expert help setting up your personal brand or even recruiting web developers for your project, platforms like AIMESBD.com can connect you to professional talent — especially useful for Bangladesh-based creators.
3. License Your Photos for Commercial Use
You can license your images directly to businesses, media outlets, authors, and marketing agencies. By offering exclusive or limited-use licenses, you command higher prices compared to stock sites.
To attract commercial clients:
Showcase your best work online
Network in professional groups like Fishbowl or Xing
Use LinkedIn to present yourself as a visual branding specialist
List your services on freelance marketplaces
If you ever expand into selling lifestyle or fashion photography, platforms like RISFashions.com can be great for collaborations in the fashion industry.
4. Create a Niche Photo Blog or YouTube Channel
Another creative way to turn photography into passive income is content creation. Start a photo-centric blog or YouTube channel where you share:
Photography tutorials
Behind-the-scenes of shoots
Editing tips and gear reviews
Stories about your travels and photo adventures
You can monetize through ads (Google AdSense), sponsored content, affiliate marketing, and even your own products or presets.
To help your blog or YouTube channel grow faster, engage actively on platforms like Quora and contribute helpful answers related to photography, which can lead new fans to your website or channel.
In fact, if you want a place to share short job-related gigs like "Photography Editing Services" or "Quick Photo Shoots for Websites", registering as a seller at ImageDoorz.com could open another revenue avenue.
5. Offer Online Photography Courses
If you’re experienced, there’s a huge market for online learning. Platforms like Udemy, Teachable, or Skillshare make it simple to build a photography course.
You can create courses on:
Basics of photography for beginners
How to edit like a pro using Lightroom or Photoshop
How to monetize photography
Or, create your own platform using tools you find online — owning your own online course site gives you much more control and profits. Setting up a professional-looking educational site is easier if you have a strong brand domain — again, a great domain from Panda-Fog.com can make a difference.
Need talent to help you create and market your course? AIMESBD.com is perfect for finding digital marketing experts.
6. Participate in Photography Competitions
Another exciting way to monetize your photography skills is by participating in photography contests. Many competitions offer significant cash prizes, publication opportunities, and exposure to clients.
Some contests even provide the winner with lucrative licensing deals or contracts for future work.
Tips for winning:
Follow the theme closely
Submit technically flawless images
Tell a powerful story through your photo
7. Create and Sell NFTs from Your Photos
The rise of Web3 technology has created an entirely new space for photographers: NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens).
By minting your photos as NFTs and selling them on platforms like OpenSea or Foundation, you can tap into a futuristic revenue stream. NFT sales not only bring you upfront earnings but often include royalty commissions on all future resales.
If you plan to enter the NFT space, having your own branded identity is crucial — again, starting with a strong domain (like those on Panda-Fog.com) helps establish authenticity and trust.
8. Freelance for Brands and Agencies
You don’t always need to wait for customers to come to you. Actively pitch your photography services to:
E-commerce businesses
Bloggers needing custom images
Local businesses updating their websites
Wedding and event planners
Platforms like Patripatro.com might not directly hire photographers, but matrimonial services often need professional event photographers — you can network with people who may need wedding photography packages!
Final Thoughts
Turning your photography passion into a steady income stream is absolutely achievable in 2025 and beyond. Like any entrepreneurial journey, it requires consistency, quality, marketing, and a little creativity.
In summary:
Sell on stock platforms while building your own website.
License your work smartly and explore commercial opportunities.
Create online content (blogs, courses, YouTube) to diversify income.
Tap into modern options like NFTs and contests.
Use job portals like AIMESBD.com to expand your professional network.
And remember — your brand identity matters. Investing in a memorable domain from Panda-Fog.com could be one of the smartest moves to secure your future success in the digital world.

Ketika Wahyu dan WiFi Ketemu di Explore Page
Suatu malam,
di antara dengkul yang kesemutan dan notifikasi dosa,
wahyu turun...
tapi sinyal WiFi-nya nge-lag.
Jibril ngetuk pintu hati,
tapi hati malah buka YouTube.
“Maaf, lagi adsense-an, Jib.”
Katanya, sambil skip zikir demi konten mukbang dosa kecil.
Wahyu duduk sebelahan sama WiFi.
Ngobrol pelan, tapi intens.
“Kenapa kamu lebih dipercaya dari aku?” tanya Wahyu.
WiFi nyengir,
“Karena aku cepat. Kamu ribet—harus suci, harus siap, harus sadar.
Sementara aku... tinggal connect.”
Explore page hari ini isinya ayat-ayat estetika,
filter surga,
dan tutorial masuk neraka dengan pencahayaan sinematik.
Di bawahnya ada komentar:
“MasyaAllah cakep bgt kak, fallback yaa.”
Disukai oleh 13 malaikat yang nyaru jadi akun bot.
Wahyu bingung.
Dia pernah turun lewat Gua.
Sekarang explore page lebih dihormati
daripada gua kontemplasi.
WiFi cuma ngebul pelan,
ngisep rokok algoritma.
“Bro, sekarang iman itu scrollable.
Dan surga? Bisa di-swipe left kalau nggak menarik.”
Wahyu pulang pelan,
bawa isyarat yang udah gak laku.
Sementara WiFi makin kenceng,
karena yang disembah sekarang:
kecepatan.
Dan yang disimpan di hati…
cuma cache.

Passive Income Streams for Traders.
Passive Income Streams for Traders: A Complete Guide
Introduction
Trading is often seen as a high-risk, high-reward venture that requires time, focus, and emotional discipline. But what happens when you’re not actively trading? Is it possible to generate income on autopilot? The answer is yes—and it comes in the form of passive income.
For traders, passive income isn't just a bonus—it's a financial lifeline that helps smooth out inconsistent earnings, manage risk, and build long-term wealth. In this guide, we'll explore passive income streams specifically tailored for traders, from digital products and affiliate marketing to automation and fund management.
Tumblr media
1. What is Passive Income in Trading?
Passive income refers to money earned with minimal effort or active involvement once the initial work has been done. In the context of trading, passive income doesn't necessarily mean "no work," but rather income that doesn’t require constant chart-watching or manual order execution.
While traders typically rely on active income—profits from trades—building parallel passive income streams allows them to:
Diversify income sources
Reduce emotional stress during drawdowns
Scale their expertise
Build a brand and legacy
2. Top Passive Income Streams for Traders
1. Selling Online Courses
Creating a trading course is one of the most profitable passive income avenues for experienced traders. If you have a solid strategy, technical knowledge, or experience managing capital, you can monetize your expertise by:
Recording video lessons
Creating downloadable resources (PDFs, spreadsheets)
Offering structured learning modules
Platforms to use:
Udemy
Teachable
Thinkific
Kajabi
Estimated Monthly Income:
Beginner educators: $200–$1,000/month
Top-tier traders: $10,000–$50,000+/month
Tips:
Offer a free mini-course to build trust
Use testimonials and verified results
Create a high-converting landing page
2. YouTube and Content Creation
YouTube is a long-term goldmine for traders willing to create valuable, engaging content. Once you build a subscriber base and consistent traffic, your videos can generate passive income through:
AdSense revenue
Affiliate links
Sponsored content
Course promotions
Types of content that work:
Strategy breakdowns
Live trade reviews
Trading psychology lessons
Broker/platform tutorials
Estimated Monthly Income:
Small channel (5k–10k subs): $100–$500/month
Medium (10k–50k): $500–$3,000/month
Large (100k+): $5,000–$20,000+/month
Bonus Tip: Combine with blogging or a newsletter to build an email list.
Buy Sell Double Arrow Target Indicator
3. Affiliate Marketing for Brokers and Tools
Affiliate marketing is a powerful passive income stream that involves recommending tools, platforms, or brokers and earning a commission for each referral.
Popular affiliate programs:
Forex.com
IC Markets
TradingView
FTMO (prop firm)
Bookmap, MetaTrader add-ons, etc.
Types of Commissions:
CPA (Cost Per Acquisition): One-time payout (e.g., $200–$500)
Rev-share: Ongoing revenue from client’s trading volume
Hybrid: A mix of both
How to Maximize:
Add affiliate links to blog posts, YouTube videos, or emails
Create product comparison reviews
Offer bonuses for sign-ups (e.g., free templates or tools)
Estimated Monthly Income:
$500–$50,000+, depending on traffic and niche
4. Automated Trading Bots (Expert Advisors)
For algorithmic traders or programmers, building or purchasing automated trading bots (known as Expert Advisors in MetaTrader) can help generate hands-free profits.
Once configured, these bots execute trades based on pre-defined strategies 24/7.
Ways to monetize bots:
Run bots on your own capital
Sell bots to other traders
License bots through platforms (e.g., MQL5 Market)
Key platforms:
MetaTrader 4/5
cTrader
TradingView Pine Scripts
NinjaTrader
Estimated Monthly Income:
Self-trading bots: $500–$10,000/month (depends on risk and capital)
Selling bots: $1,000–$50,000+/month
Caution: Always backtest thoroughly and offer disclaimers when selling bots.
5. Signal Services and Trade Copying
Signal services offer a way to share your trades with a subscriber base and get paid per subscription or profit-sharing.
Models:
Monthly subscription (e.g., $30–$100/month)
Copy trading platforms with performance fees (e.g., MyFxBook AutoTrade, ZuluTrade, Darwinex)
Best for:
Experienced traders with consistent performance
Traders with social media presence
Those who can communicate risk clearly
Estimated Monthly Income:
$300–$10,000+ depending on the number of subscribers and your performance
Warning: Legal disclaimers are important. Always follow financial compliance rules in your region.
6. Managing Client Funds (PAMM/MAM Accounts)
If you have proven profitability and trust from investors, managing others’ money through PAMM (Percent Allocation Management Module) or MAM (Multi-Account Management) accounts is a powerful income stream.
You typically earn:
Management fees
Performance fees (20–30%)
Profit splits or incentives
Platforms that support fund management:
MetaTrader 4/5 (with broker plugins)
cTrader Copy
FXOpen PAMM
Pepperstone MAM accounts
Estimated Monthly Income:
$2,000–$50,000+ depending on AUM (Assets Under Management)
youtube
7. E-Books and Trading Guides
Traders can write and publish e-books to earn passive income. These could be:
Strategy books
Mindset and psychology guides
Journals and trade planners
Platforms:
Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP)
Gumroad
Payhip
Price Range:
$5–$50 per book
Estimated Monthly Income:
$100–$5,000+ depending on marketing
Pro Tip: Repurpose course content into an eBook or vice versa.
8. Licensing Proprietary Indicators
If you’ve built a custom indicator or trading tool, you can license or sell it.
Examples:
Custom RSI/momentum indicators
Volume profile tools
Supply and demand auto-zoners
Order flow/heatmaps
Platforms to Sell:
TradingView
MQL5 Marketplace
Gumroad
Your own website
License Types:
One-time fee
Monthly subscription
Lifetime access with updates
Estimated Monthly Income:
$500–$15,000+
9. Blogging & SEO Monetization
Blogging provides long-term passive income through:
Affiliate marketing
Ads (Google AdSense, Mediavine, Ezoic)
Course and product promotion
A well-optimized trading blog with SEO can bring in consistent traffic and sales.
Content Ideas:
Broker reviews
Strategy breakdowns
Economic event recaps
Beginner guides
Estimated Monthly Income:
$200–$20,000+ depending on niche and traffic
10. Building and Selling Trading Apps
If you’re a trader with coding skills (or know a developer), you can create apps like:
Trade journals
Position sizing calculators
Backtesting tools
Market scanners
Monetization:
App Store or Play Store
Web-based SaaS model
Subscription licensing
Estimated Monthly Income:
$1,000–$30,000+
3. Combining Multiple Streams
The best part? These passive income streams are stackable.
For example, a trader could:
Create YouTube videos with affiliate links
Promote a paid course
Include free signals with subscription upsells
Offer a custom indicator on TradingView
This creates a flywheel effect, where one income stream fuels another, increasing exposure and credibility over time.
4. Benefits of Passive Income for Traders
Income diversification: Reduces reliance on volatile trading profits.
Scalability: No upper limit—your income grows as your audience grows.
Freedom: Allows you to take breaks or weather drawdowns without financial stress.
Branding: Positions you as an expert and opens consulting or partnership opportunities.
5. Challenges to Be Aware Of
Initial effort is high: Course creation, content building, and tool development require upfront work.
Consistency matters: Poor-quality content or tools won’t generate income.
Compliance: If offering trading advice or fund management, ensure proper licenses and legal structures.
Saturation: The trading niche is competitive—unique value is key.
6. How to Start Building Passive Income Today
Step 1: Identify Your Strengths
Are you a coder, teacher, or marketer? Focus on the streams that match your skills.
Step 2: Build One Stream First
Don’t overwhelm yourself. Begin with a YouTube channel or affiliate blog.
Step 3: Create Value, Not Hype
The trading world is full of overhyped scams. Build real value with transparency.
Step 4: Promote Strategically
Use SEO, email marketing, Reddit, and YouTube to bring traffic to your products or services.
Step 5: Reinvest Profits
Use early earnings to buy better tools, hire editors or writers, or scale your ad spend.
Conclusion
Passive income is not just a dream for traders—it’s a powerful, achievable strategy to create consistent, scalable, and stress-free revenue. Whether you’re just starting out or already a full-time trader, building these income streams can offer stability, diversification, and financial independence.

Make Money Online Without Investment
Tumblr media
In today’s fast-paced digital world, the internet offers countless opportunities to earn money from the comfort of your home — and yes, without any investment upfront. Whether you're a student, a stay-at-home parent, someone between jobs, or simply looking for an additional income stream, making money online with no financial risk is entirely achievable. This guide walks you through some of the most reliable methods to earn online without spending a penny — all tailored for a UK audience.
Why Choose Online Income Without Investment?
Not everyone has the luxury of upfront capital to start a business or invest in training courses. The good news is that with just a reliable internet connection and a bit of time and effort, anyone can begin earning online. Here's why this path is appealing:
Zero risk: You don’t need to worry about losing money.
Flexibility: Work from anywhere and choose your own hours.
Scalability: Many free opportunities can grow into full-time incomes over time.
Skill development: Many online gigs help you build valuable skills along the way.
1. Freelancing – Turn Your Skills into Income
Freelancing is one of the most straightforward ways to earn online without investment. Websites like PeoplePerHour, Upwork, Fiverr, and Freelancer.com connect clients with freelancers across the globe.
Skills in demand:
Writing & editing
Graphic design
Digital marketing
Web development
Virtual assistance
Translation
Even if you don’t consider yourself an expert yet, you can start with beginner-level tasks and grow with experience. Many UK-based clients prefer native English speakers, so that’s already an advantage!
Tip: Create a strong profile showcasing your skills, and complete a few small jobs to build a positive rating.
2. Online Surveys and Market Research
While you won’t get rich from surveys, they can be a decent way to earn a bit of extra cash or vouchers during your free time.
Trusted UK survey sites:
Prolific – known for academic research and fair pay
Swagbucks UK – offers surveys, videos, and cashback
YouGov – a well-known name in political and consumer surveys
Toluna and InboxPounds – other popular choices
These platforms are free to join and pay via PayPal, vouchers, or even direct bank transfer in some cases.
3. Become an Online Tutor
With online education booming, there’s a growing demand for tutors. You don’t need a teaching degree — just solid knowledge in a subject and good communication skills.
UK platforms to explore:
MyTutor
Tutorful
Superprof
Preply (good for language tutors)
You can teach English as a second language, help GCSE or A-Level students, or offer tuition in maths, sciences, or music. If you're a university student or graduate, even better — many UK sites prefer tutors with academic credentials.
4. Start a Blog or YouTube Channel
Although this route takes time to monetize, it requires no initial investment — just consistency and creativity.
Blogging:
Start with free platforms like WordPress.com or Medium. You can write about travel, fashion, finance, parenting, or any niche you're passionate about. Monetize through:
Display ads (e.g., Google AdSense)
Affiliate marketing
Sponsored content
YouTube:
You can create videos using your phone. Once you gain subscribers and watch hours, apply for the YouTube Partner Programme. Topics can include tutorials, product reviews, vlogs, or commentary.
Tip: Consistency is key. Most successful creators started small.
5. Sell Digital Products or Print-on-Demand Items
Creating digital products — like printables, templates, or eBooks — costs nothing but your time.
Examples:
Canva templates for resumes, planners, or social media
Printable worksheets or wall art
eBooks on niche topics
You can sell them on:
Etsy
Gumroad
Payhip (UK-friendly platform)
Redbubble or TeeSpring for print-on-demand T-shirts, mugs, etc.
Design tools like Canva are free and beginner-friendly.
6. Remote Customer Service or Virtual Assistant Roles
Many UK businesses are hiring remote workers for customer support or virtual assistant tasks. Tasks may include:
Responding to emails
Booking appointments
Data entry
Social media scheduling
These roles often don't require advanced skills and can be found on sites like:
Indeed.co.uk
Remote.co
We Work Remotely
7. Use Cashback and Referral Apps
You may not classify this as “earning,” but cashback apps can save you money — and some offer bonuses or real cash for referrals.
Top UK cashback options:
TopCashback
Quidco
Airtime Rewards – links to your bank card to earn cashback automatically
Curve – offers cashback and consolidates all your cards
Refer friends and earn extra with unique referral links.
8. Test Websites and Apps
Companies pay people to test the usability of their websites or apps. You'll be asked to perform simple tasks and give feedback.
Recommended platforms:
UserTesting
TryMyUI
Userlytics
You’ll typically earn £5–£10 per 20-minute test. All you need is a microphone and sometimes a webcam.
Final Tips for Online Earning
Avoid scams: Be cautious of anyone asking for “registration fees” or offering unrealistic returns.
Stay organized: Use tools like Google Calendar and Trello to manage tasks and deadlines.
Track your income: Even if you’re earning small amounts from multiple sources, keep track for tax purposes. In the UK, you can earn up to £1,000 tax-free through the trading allowance (check HMRC guidelines).
Invest your time wisely: Not all methods will suit you, so test a few and focus on the ones that work best.
Making money online without investment is not only possible — it’s easier than ever before. Whether you’re freelancing, teaching, creating content, or doing small tasks, your efforts can pay off without risking any capital. All it takes is patience, consistency, and the willingness to learn.

Best Passive Income Ideas for Photographers: Start Selling Your Photos
Now photographers have more opportunities than ever to earn a steady stream of passive income. Whether you're a professional photographer or a passionate hobbyist, your photos hold immense value — and not just in memories. By selling your images online, you can generate income around the clock, even while you sleep.
Tumblr media
Let’s explore the best passive income ideas for photographers, with practical steps to start selling your photos and building a sustainable side hustle (or even a full-time career!).
1. Sell Photos on Stock Photography Websites
Stock photography is one of the easiest and most popular ways for photographers to earn passive income. Sites like:
Shutterstock
Adobe Stock
Getty Images
iStock
Allow you to upload high-quality photos. Businesses, marketers, bloggers, and designers buy these images for use in their projects.
Pro Tip: Focus on in-demand categories like business, lifestyle, food, travel, and nature. Ensure that you add relevant keywords and descriptions to enhance search visibility.
2. Create and Sell Prints or Wall Art
People love decorating their homes or offices with beautiful photography. You can turn your landscape shots, portraits, or abstract photos into wall art and sell them on platforms like:
Etsy
Society6
Redbubble
Fine Art America
These platforms handle printing, shipping, and customer service for you. All you need to do is upload your work and set your prices.
Bonus Tip: Try different formats — canvas prints, posters, framed art, or even metal and acrylic prints — to attract a wider audience.
3. Use Photo-Selling Platforms like Kwikpic
Dedicated photo selling platforms like Kwikpic make it easier than ever for photographers to create digital galleries, share their work with clients, and earn from each download or purchase.
Why Kwikpic?
Easy upload and portfolio creation
Instant sharing via link or QR code
Secure payment integration
AI face recognition (great for event photography)
It’s especially useful for wedding and event photographers who want to deliver photos fast and monetize client galleries effortlessly.
4. Start a Photography Blog or YouTube Channel
Creating helpful content around photography tips, gear reviews, editing tutorials, or travel photography guides can build a loyal audience. Once you’ve built some traffic, you can earn passive income through:
Affiliate marketing (e.g., Amazon Associates, B&H Photo)
Ad revenue (Google AdSense, Mediavine)
Digital product sales (presets, eBooks, guides)
It takes time to grow an audience, but once the content is out there, it works for you 24/7.
5. Sell Lightroom Presets and Editing Tools
If you have a unique editing style or workflow, turn it into a product! Many photographers earn passive income by selling:
Lightroom presets
Photoshop actions
Mobile filter packs
Photo overlays or textures
You can sell them on your website, Etsy, Gumroad, or platforms like FilterGrade.
Tip: Add demo images showing the before/after results of your presets. This helps boost conversions.
6. License Photos for Commercial Use
Licensing allows brands, media outlets, and advertisers to use your photos for their campaigns. You retain ownership while earning fees for usage.
Use sites like:
Alamy
EyeEm
500px Licensing
You can also approach brands directly or register with licensing agencies. This is a great option for travel and editorial photographers.
7. Build Your Photography Website with E-commerce
While third-party platforms are great, owning your platform gives you more control. Build a professional photography website using:
Squarespace
SmugMug
Wix
WordPress with WooCommerce
Offer digital downloads, print sales, stock packages, or exclusive content bundles. Add SEO, social media sharing, and email marketing to grow your customer base over time.
Bonus Tip: Offer Exclusive Membership or Subscription Access
Consider platforms like Patreon, where fans and clients can subscribe for:
Monthly photo packs
Behind-the-scenes content
Editing tutorials
Exclusive wallpapers
This model works especially well for niche or artistic photographers who want to build a close-knit community.
Conclusion
Building passive income as a photographer is all about putting your existing skills and content to work in smart ways. While the initial setup might require some effort — uploading your library, writing descriptions, or creating digital products — once your system is in place, the rewards can be long-term and highly profitable.
