AGHHHH Tododeku during the Dark Hero arc hits so DIFFERENT listen to me
At this point they’re already in a relationship right. But even so there’s still INTENSE pining on both sides while Izuku’s off playing vigilante. Todoroki’s almost collapsing under the weight of his own stress worrying about not only his recently-revealed-to-be-alive brother but also his boyfriend who is being targeted by the most dangerous criminal on the planet. Is he okay? Is he even alive? Nobody will give him answers and he’s frustrated. And the one person he can turn to when he’s stressed and worried just so happens to be the person he’s stressed and worried ABOUT. And who is also missing! The UA staff literally had to put Todoroki on surveillance because he keeps trying to sneak out on his own to find Izuku. (The rest of Class 1-A is right there with him, also wanting to find Izuku, and eventually start finding Todo’s escape attempts hilarious as they intensify in their ridiculousness. Bakugou bitches at Todo but he was also caught trying to sneak off campus, the little shit. Aizawa has had it up to HERE with his kids)
Meanwhile Izuku, who is. Well. You know how he is during this arc lmao. On top of trying to save and protect everyone, he’s also fighting to protect Todoroki, who he cares about so deeply, who he’s terrified All For One and Shigaraki will target so he’s willing to take the bullet and lead them away from UA entirely. If anything happens to Shouto he’ll just…break. He can’t stand the thought. But he misses him so much, misses his friends so much, wants to go back home and curl up with Todoroki on the couch and watch old movies and hold his hand and it hurts so much not to see him but Izuku would rather Todoroki be alive and them be apart than them being together and Todoroki dying as a result of that. The TORTURE. It’s just so *chef’s kiss*
And then the reunion 🥺 Todo grabbing Izuku and holding him close and sobbing and saying I’m never letting you go again, never again, I couldn’t breathe without you here and Izuku’s crying just as hard going I missed you, I missed you so so much and I wanted to just give it all up and come running home to you so many times but I couldn’t. And they’re both whispering I’m so glad you’re okay, I’m so glad. And I imagine right after Izuku settles in, after the guys give him a bath and scrub him down, Todoroki wraps him up in a blanket and takes him upstairs into his room and curls up with him on his bed and just. Holds him. And starts crying 😭 And Izuku wakes up and cries with him and they just meld into each other and refuse to let go because this is what they NEEDED. They needed each other so much and they won’t let go now that they’re together again.
Slams my fist on the table GOD DAMMIT I’m normal okay I’m so normal about them listen to m

steve harrington + friends to lovers maybe? definitely feeling lovesick steve rn 😮💨
Thanks for requesting lovely mal <3
Steve Harrington x fem!reader ♡ 698 words
The movie theater is dark, and yet Steve catches sight of you the second you step inside. His heart does a dumbass little somersault.
“Y/n’s here?” he whispers to Robin, who’s sitting next to him and using her licorice as a straw. On his other side, Eddie’s kicked his feet up on the seat in front of him like a total asshole.
“Oh, yeah.” Robin waves to you, and you spot them, heading over. “I invited her.”
“You didn’t say she was coming.”
Robin gives Steve a sideways glance. It’s tinged with a meaning he refuses to decode. “I didn’t realize I needed to check with you.”
He huffs. You’re climbing the steps, still three rows from reaching them. “Move over by Eddie.”
Robin turns towards him now, eyebrows raising. “You’re not serious.”
“Go!”
“Dingus.” She musses his hair spitefully as she stands, just so he’ll have to fix it, waving over her shoulder at you as you start shimmying down their row.
You wave back, smiling bemusedly as you take her seat beside Steve. “Hey,” you say.
“Hey.” He’s grinning like an idiot, and he can’t seem to stop. He wasn’t expecting to see you today. “Long time, no see.”
You go a bit sheepish, the previews casting a red hue over your features. “Yeah, sorry. Work’s been keeping me busy lately. Three people quit at once, so everyone’s expected to cover until they can hire new ones.”
Steve grimaces. “Yikes.” He has the urge to tell you to quit and let him pay for everything, as if that’s something he can fiscally manage or even remotely normal. “That sucks,” he says instead.
“Yeah, hopefully it’s not for long.” You get comfy, slipping off your shoes and putting your socked feet up on the seat. Your knees lean onto your shared armrest, within a pinkie’s reach of Steve’s hand. “I actually just got off, I didn’t grab anything from concessions because I was worried I’d miss the beginning.”
“Oh, no way.” The movie starts, and he lowers his voice but neither of you turn towards the screen. “Want me to run and grab you something?”
You give him a funny smile. It makes your cupid’s bow flatten out and Steve thinks that if he were to kiss you, he’d start there. “No,” you whisper, “you shouldn’t have to miss anything either.”
“It’s okay,” he promises you. “I don’t even really care if I see this.” He has been looking forward to it ever since he saw the commercial, honestly, but he’s happy to miss it for you.
“I’m fine,” you reply, “but thanks, Steve.”
“At least have some of mine.” Eddie shushes him loudly, and Steve kicks the underside of his knee, making the other boy curse. “I’ve got coke and popcorn, that okay?”
The movie glows blue over your face as you grin, eyes twinkling in the low light. “Classics. But I’m not gonna take your food.”
“I’m not gonna eat it all,” Steve argues. “These are both extra-larges. You think I bought that all for myself?” He absolutely did.
You lean in closer, your knees touching the side of his hand. “You paid for them,” you whisper.
“So?”
“So, I’d feel bad.”
“Then make it up to me.” Steve hopes he doesn’t look as nervous as he feels. He’s never been able to lay on the charm with you like he can with other girls, he doesn’t know why. Or maybe he does. “Come with us back to my place tonight. We’re ordering pizza.”
“So,” you murmur through a smile, “make it up to you by taking more of your food, is what you’re saying.”
“Uh-huh, exactly.” He takes a sip of his coke and then angles the straw in your direction. “Deal?”
You drop your eyes for a second, shaking your head like he’s silly, and Steve knows he’s won even before you meet his gaze again.
“Deal.” You wrap your lips around his straw, sucking in a mouthful before letting go. “You drive a hard bargain, Harrington.”
Steve grins, laying bay in his seat and totally not thinking about how his pinkie is grazing your thigh. “Yeah, that’s what they tell me.”

TAKE A GUESS ⸺ Haerin x reader
Asking your supposed enemy who she has a crush on
GENRE ⸺ Fluff, enemies to lovers (ish)
WARNINGS ⸺ short, I’ll make like three short posts while I’m actually writing something long :P, wrote this at like 3am so it’s barely proofread, saw an imagine on Pinterest and decided to do it, so just the idea isn’t mine but lowk the entire plotting is :D, wrote on an app called notion I think (a friend recommended) so that’s why there are spaces TT
WC ⸺ 1.3K
You’re going to be honest. Haerin was really intimidating. Everything about her just screams “don’t talk to me or I’ll kill you”. Her face, her eyes, her glares, the way she talks, literally every single thing about her.
She talks to absolutely no one but you. She’s more playful, sweeter, annoying and teasing towards you.
Everyone including you has no idea how and why she started to talk to you.
One time when another school came to your school just for a basketball match, rumors spread that Haerin liked someone from the opposite school leaving everyone in curiosity and thought. But they knew they could never get their answers, no way they were going to walk up to Haerin and asks one of the most irrelevant questions. She’d probably scream or death glare at them. Right now their only option is you.
It was a normal afternoon, you remained in the library to observe break. Drowning yourself in a bunch of novels. Until a person tapped you on the shoulder.
You looked up to see a familiar girl from one of your classes. A small smile plastered on your face so as not to come off as rude or anything like that.
She looked down, embarrassed of what she was about to say next. “Hey umm yn This may seem weird to ask but could you kindly please ask Haerin if the rumors are true? The one about her liking someone from the other school?” She requested shyly.
“Please….you’re the only one she likes, the only one she talks to” she pleaded after seeing your raised eyebrow.
“The only one she likes?! Girl she lowkey hates me“
“But fine whatevs, I’ll ask her about it” you added shutting the Novel that was placed between your palms shut.
“Thank you thank you thank you so much” she thanked a hint of excitement in her tone.
“Yeah” you shortly responded, making your way out of the library to find Haerin.
You were about to go searching round the school until you remembered her favorite spot. The rooftop.
Of course it was her favorite spot in the whole school. She was short from people, short from human interactions.
Just as you thought, you saw Haerin standing by the railings staring down at the others who observed their break; eating, giggling and chatting away.
Moving closed to her, you gave her shoulders a light tap until she whipped her head around to see you.
“What’d you want?” She asked her tone not very welcoming but much rather hostile. It was no big deal since you were pretty much used to it.
“Hey umm I know this may come off as weird, what am I even saying it’s weird but like a girl asked me to ask you if the rumors are accurate you like someone from the other school. You know the school that joined ours during the basketball game that time.” You explained waiting with anticipation for what she was about to say next.
She scoffed looking at you like you had just said the dumbest thing ever. “What are you saying? You’re in my class” she briefly responded turning back to stare down at people.
“Huh? Wait what? What am I supposed to do with this?? That literally just has nothing to do with all this, come on just tell me yes or no?” you demanded but all you got in response was a shrug.
“I’m not telling you, take a guess from the hint”
A small scoffed escaped your lips. You were almost on the verge of smacking her head. What does this all have to do with you? You’re in her class, yes you can totally see that.
Without asking too much you left the roof top now on another mission to find the girl.
It was as if the girl was spying on you because the next thing you knew you got jump scared by her on your way down the staircase.
“Oh my I’m so sorry for the sudden jump scare” she apologized scratching the back of her head sheepishly.
“So what did she say? Is it a yes or no? Did she even answer? Did she leave you on a cliff hanger?” She babbled not taking breaks.
“Yes she did leave me on a cliffhanger”
“You mean she didn’t tell you if she did or not?” The girl asked raising an eyebrow.
“Not that she didn’t tell me, all she said was and I quote. ‘What are you saying? You’re in my class’ “ you repeated the words from earlier.
“Wait what’s that supposed to mea— wait you don’t get that?!” The girl asked her eyes widening in shock.
“Duh”
“You’re literally so dense” she added shaking her head before waking off.
“Umm that’s rude of you to also put me on a cliffhanger you know?!!” You yelled from up the staircase hoping she’d hear from wherever she is.
Everything seemed irritating to you maybe because you still didn’t understand what Haerin and the other girl meant earlier.
“You’re in my class, you’re….in….my…class” you repeated the words slowly analyzing each words.
“You’re, me, in, my, her, class…. This whole shit if confusing!” You ruffled your hair in frustration constantly playing the memory from the roof top again.
And then it clicked. “YOU ARE IN HER CLASS!!” You gasped quietly. “I’m the person she likes!!” you mumbled to yourself.
After finally understanding the statement, you find yourself growing more and more impatient as the last period seemed to be taking forever.
Finally it came to an end, Haerin had dashed out of the class before you knew it.
You fumbled with the zip of your bag, darting your eyes to the door, praying you won’t loose sight of the girl.
After successfully packing your bags you rushed out of the class, stumbling and bumping into people on the way.
You dashed out of the school glancing around once you thought you’ve lost sight of Haerin until you saw her by the sidewalk with her headphones plugged in.
You finally caught up to her, tapping her on the shoulders to get her attention. She turned around slowly removing her headphones. “Yeah?”
“Wait…. What you said earlier—“
“I thought I told you I’m not giving you any more hint”
“Yeah I know, I just wanted to know if it was true or not” you asked biting the inside of your cheeks.
“What do you think? Of course it was!” She stated turning to face front, walking away from you.
You sighed in frustration catching up to her again. This time stopping her by holding her arm stopping her in her tracks.
“I thought I already told you—“
“So does this mean we’re together?” You asked softly looking her in her eyes. “Like you’re my girlfriend now?” You added.
A hint of softness and warmth could be seen in her eyes. She was a bit confused at first but when realization hits, she blushed a bit at your statement. “So you like me back?” She asked confirming just to be sure.
You nodded smiling at her.
Before you could even move she pulled you closer, drawing you into a really tight hug. “Yes it means you’re my girlfriend”
She pulled away noticing someone from the same school as the both of you standing behind you with a bouquet of flowers and chocolates, a blush spread across his face.
“YN these are for you…I’ve liked you for a really long time now… would you be my—“
“Ah ah ah! She’s not straight, plus she’s my girlfriend so back off!” She scowled judging the boy up and down.
The boy nodded running away in embarrassment earning a satisfied smirk from Haerin. “Just as I thought”

↪JaiFelix_WWE: @jonathanfatu LMAO!
Jaiania held her breath as she walked past Josh and his twin brother Jon. She kept her head down, hoping they didn’t notice her walking by them. She absolutely did not want to have a conversation with either of them - especially Josh -. After their failed relationship and trainwreck of a breakup, she would rather play in traffic than have a conversation with him.
She almost made it past them without being noticed. “Damn girl you just gon walk right past us.” That was Jon. Jaiania forced a smile on her face and turned around to face them.
“Oh, hey.” She said, keeping her eyes on Jon. “Didn’t see you there.” She shrugged when he gave her a ‘yeah right’ look. Josh crossed his arms over his chest and rolled his eyes when he realized that she was trying her hardest to not look in his direction.
This is awkward she thought as she rocked back on her heels before pointing in the direction she was walking.
“I gotta go. Nice seeing you though,” She said to Jon, still ignoring Joshua’s presence.
She hurried down the hallway feeling their eyes on her.
Jon turned to his brother once she rounded the corner. “Look at what you did,” He said, smacking Josh on his chest. Josh rolled his eyes.
“I ain't do shit. Come on, we gotta get ready.” Josh did not want to hear that bullshit. He was in the wrong just as much as she was but since everyone loved Jaiania he took all the blame.
Jaiaina groaned as she saw Jon and Josh walking her way a couple of hours later. This must be my lucky day, two times in one night, she thought bitterly. She could normally avoid Jon and Josh but they seemed to be everywhere she was today.
“Congratulations guys.” She said referring to the Smackdown tag team titles they had just won from Chad Gable and Jason Jordan.
“Thank you, Jai,” Jon said, trying to give her a sweaty hug. She pretended to throw up and moved away from him. “Is your arm okay tho? That rinpost spot looked pretty rough.”
“I’m totally fine.” Jaiaina lied. “Looked way worse than it actually was.” She said, smiling at him.
“Yeet!” He said, making Jaiaina roll her eyes. “We goin’ out to celebrate our big win tonight, you in?”
Jaiaina let her eyes cut over to Josh who thankfully wasn’t looking at her. “Uh. I can’t. I have plans already.” That got Josh’s attention. He looked up from his phone and squinted his eyes at her. He wasn't normally one for gossip but he had heard some things about Jaiaina and another one of their co-workers recently.
“So the rumors are true huh?” He said with a scoff. “You move on fast.” Jaiaina cut her eyes back over to him and glared.
“Excuse me?” She asked, crossing her arms over her chest.
Josh sucked his teeth and narrowed his eyes at her. “You heard me.”
Jon let his eyes ping pong between the two of them. He knew he needed to stop them before they became explosive. “Uce, come on. It ain’t worth it. ” Jon said trying to pull his brother along but Josh wasn’t budging. “Josh, stop. Let’s go Uce”
“Yeah, I think that's a good idea,” Jaiaina said as she rolled her eyes and turned to walk away from them. 6 months of silence and the first thing he said to her is something about some bullshit ass rumors?! Pathetic
“And then he had the nerve to talk about me moving on too fast,” Jaiaina said to Trinity and Carmella as they sat in the VIP section of a club. “I mean, he broke up with me. What does he care if I moved on or not.” She said as she downed another shot. Carmelle and Trinity shared a look but didn’t say anything. “And what fucking rumors?!” She turned to her best friends. “Yall heard rumors about me?” She let out a scoff and rolled her eyes when they both nodded.
“Yeah, but we obviously don't believe it,” Carmella said.
“What's the rumor though?”
Carmella shrugged and sipped her drink. “Something about you and AJ”
Jaiaina's eyes widened. “AJ STYLES?!” She asked louder than necessary. “Ew, what the fuck. Where did that fucking come from?”
Carmella sighed. “Okay, here's what I know. Apparently, someone saw you and him leaving a hotel room together a couple of weeks ago.”
Jaiaina scoffed and rolled her eyes. “Do these people know that he’s married and I would never do that to Wendy or his children?” She sighed. “And Josh knows that Allen was my mentor during my time in TNA.”
“Girl you know how Josh is. He’s being an ass because he misses you.” Trinity said and Jaiaina rolled her eyes.
“Yeah well, he shouldn’t believe rumors about me.”
“And you miss him too, right?” Trinity questioned.
Jaiania rolled her eyes. “Of course I miss him, I never said I didn’t.”
“ Do you still love him?”
Jaiaian took another sip of her drink before answering. “Yes I still love him, but it is extremely obvious that he never did. We break up and the first thing he does is go fuck on one of our coworkers? That’s foul. Now every time I walk past that hoe she got a fucking smirk on her face that I wanna smack off. ”
Trinity and Carmella found themselves nodding along with Jaiaina’s statement. It was an extremely foul thing for Josh to do.
“I still don’t know what possessed him to do that. “
“I do.” Jaiaina rolled her eyes. “He been wanting to fuck Dasha. Surprised he didn’t do it while we were dating.”
Trinity rolled her eyes at her friend. “Josh may have been an asshole but we all know he wouldn’t cheat on you.”
Jaiaina hummed as she took a sip of her drink. She then eyed her friend. “Shouldn’t you be out celebrating with your husband?”
“Oh, about that.”
Jai narrowed her eyes at Trinity before letting out a gasp. “You didn’t !”
“I’m sorry! I know we already planned this girl's night and I didn’t wanna flake on y'all.”
Jai scoffed and turned towards Carmella who was already looking at her with guilty eyes.
“I invited Corey too.”
Jaiaina had to stop herself from throwing a temper tantrum. “You guys” she whined. “Girls night mean just girls.” She pouted.
Trinity and Carmella burst into laughter. “We’re sorry! But look, we can have a girl's night once we go back to Florida. Just us.”
“Fine,” Jaiaina said, still pouting. Just as she was about to take another sip of her drink, Jon, Josh and… Dasha fucking Jackson. Jaiaina scoffed and adverted her eyes from the couple.
“I’m sorry,” Trin whispered as stood and greeted her husband and Corey purposely ignoring Josh and Dasha. Carmella did the same and Jaiania couldn’t have been more grateful for her friends.
Don’t let it get to you, Don’t let it get to you. She repeated in her head as Dasha made a point of showing she was Josh’s girl now by placing a kiss on his lips. Once Dasha looked in her direction, Jaiaina stood from her seat and walked over to the bar. The drama was something she did not need nor want tonight.
She let out a heavy sigh as she leaned against the bar. She had successfully gone months without being in the same space as Josh because it hurt. It hurt to look at him and not be with him. She said some foul things the day they broke up and so did he, but she never expected him to literally go and fuck another woman THE SAME NIGHT.
“C’mon, you too pretty to be frowning.” Jaiaina had to stop herself from swinging on the slimeball that just slithered his way next to her. She turned her head to the side to face him and he smiled thinking he got her attention. She cringed at the food he had stuck in his teeth.
“Thank you,” She said referring to the compliment. “But, uh no thanks.” She said referring to his advances. The bartender set down her rum punch, Jaiaina grabbed the drink and tried to walk away but the guy grabbed her arm.
“Don’t be fucking rude.” He scoffed. “You didn’t even ask me my name.”
“That’s cause I don’t wanna know your name!” She said, trying to pull her arm out of his grasp. Just from how tight his grip was, she knew she was going to have a bruise. “Let go of me!”
“Don’t be such a bitch!” He spat at her, Just as Jai was lifting her knee to hit him in his balls, he was forcefully grabbed, which caused him to release her arm.
“The fuck is you doin’?!”
Jaiaina let out a gasp as Josh pushed the slimeball down to the ground. By now, more than half of the bar had turned their attention to them. “Don’t put ya’ fucking hands on her like that. Fuck is wrong witchu?!”
Slimy McSlimerson tried to kick his feet at Josh but Josh sidestepped them and then kicked slimeball in his face, knocking him onto his back. Slimy let out a groan as he started to hold his now broken nose.
“You alright?” The bartender asked coming around the bar and taking Jai’s arm in his hands, inspecting it. “You want me to call the cops?”
Josh gently pulled Jaiaina away from the bartender, making him drop her arm. Jaiaina’s eyebrows furrowed together as Josh wrapped his arm around her and pulled her closer, tucking her into his side. “Nah, we good,” Josh said eyeing Slimy on the ground. Josh was tempted to knock Slimy’s teeth down his throat but decided against it as he led Jai out of the club and into the night's cool air.
Jaiaina said nothing as she let Josh lead her outside. She momentarily allowed herself to lean into his familiar touch before remembering their current situation. “I’m fine now.” She said, taking another step away from him. “You can go back into the bar.”
“And leave you out here?” He asked. “Bab–Jaiaina, you shaking.”
“Okay, so send Trin or Mella out here. Go back inside.” Josh sucked bus teeth and pulled off his black bomber jacket he was wearing and handed it to her.
“Just take the damn jacket Jai”
“I don’t want your damn jacket, Joshua. And I damn sure didn’t need your help back there. I had it.”
Josh scoffed and grabbed her arm, making them both look down at the purple bruise that was forming. “Yeah okay.” He snorted. He hated that she was so stubborn. “You can hate me all you want Jaiaina. But if you gon’ wait out here in the damn cold, take the damn jacket.”
Jaiaina huffed and snatched the jacket out of his hands. “Happy?” She asked with a sarcastic smile and she slid her arms into the jacket.
“Very.” Just as he said that the side door to the bar opened and her group of friends and Dasha spilled out. Dasha eyed the jacket and then narrowed her eyes at Josh, who was still looking at Jaiaina.
“Girl! Are you okay?!” Trinity cried out as she and Leah rushed over to their best friend. Jai broke eye contact with Josh and turned her head towards her friends.
“I’m fine. Just some weirdo who doesn’t understand the meaning of No.”
Trinity, being the emotional drunk wrapped her arms around Jai’s head and pulled her down, so Jai’s head was resting on her breast. “I’m so sorry I wasn’t there to help you friend.” She whispered as a few tears slipped down her face. Jon and Josh sucked their teeth.
“Man, Trin get off her.” Jai let out a soft laugh as Jon pulled Trinity away from her.
“Did I ruin the mood? Or can we go back in?” Jaiaina asked.
“Hell no! You didn’t ruin the mood! C’mon!” Leah said as she grabbed Trinity’s and Jaiaina’s hands and started to lead them inside.
“Actually. I’m not in the party spirit anymore… We’re gonna head back to the hotel. Dasha said as she walked over to Josh. Jaiaina hated the way her heart tightened in her chest. Jaiaina watched as Dasha slipped her hand into Josh’s, her fingers curling around his in that intimate, effortless way that people who were in love did.
“Are you sure you don’t want to stay for a bit longer?” Josh asked, his voice soft but laced with that familiar warmth Jaiaina had once loved.
Dasha's hand tightened around his. “I’m sure. Come on, let’s go.” There was a finality to her words that Jaiaina couldn’t ignore.
Jaiaina’s chest tightened. It shouldn’t hurt this much. It shouldn’t hurt at all.
She and Josh had broken up for a reason—no matter how hard it had been. She told herself she was over it. Jaiaina forced herself to look away from the couple.
“I think I'm gonna head back too. I forgot I have an early flight to Birmingham in the morning.”
Birmingham? Josh arched his eyebrow at the mention of Birmingham. He knew there was only one reason why she was going there, which meant she lied to Jon earlier when he asked about her arm.
Trinity and Leah shot her playful glares, but their smiles quickly softened into teasing hugs. After making Jaiaina promise to hang out once all three of them were in Florida, Jon, Trin, Leah and Corey walked back inside the bar.
Jaiaina stood there awkwardly. She pulled her phone out of her clutch and ordered an Uber. She could feel Josh and Dasha’s eyes on her.
“Oh, your jacket,” Dasha said as their Uber pulled up.
“She can keep it. It’s cold as hell out here Baby.” Baby.. just hearing that Josh had a nickname for Dasha made Jaiaina sick to her stomach.
“It’s fine..” Jaiaina trailed off as she took the jack off and handed it back to Josh. “I should have brought out my own coat.”
“Yeah, you should have.” Dasha scoffed and snatched the jacket out of Jai’s hands.
Be the bigger person Jaiaina thought, don’t beat this bitch’s ass.
“C’mon man, you ain't have to snatch it,” Josh muttered as he walked towards the Uber. Dasha rolled her eyes and stomped after him.
“Well, why did you give her your jacket? Could have let the hoe freeze for all I care.”
Jaiaina gritted her teeth as the door to the Uber slammed shut and they drove away. She closed her eyes and tried to remember the deep breathing exercises her therapist told her to do. Forcing herself to take slow, deliberate breaths in and out. In through the nose, out through the mouth...
It didn’t work. Not this time.
Dasha was so lucky that Jaiaina actually enjoyed her job, cause Jai would have BEEN beat her ass by now.
Jaiaina’s head had barely hit the pillow before three sharp, rhythmic knocks echoed through the room. Her stomach twisted into knots at the sound of the knocks.
There was only one person in the whole world that knew three was her safe number. Sighing, she threw the covers off of her, grabbed her pink Versace robe, and opened the door.
“Why did you lie to twin earlier?” Jaiaina blinked.
What?” she scoffed, a quick laugh escaping her. “What are you talking about?”
“Earlier, Jon asked about your arm. You said you were fine but you not. Why you going to Birmingham in the morning.”
“What I have going on in my life doesn’t concern you anymore Joshua,” Jaiaina said firmly, trying to shut down the conversation before it could go any further.
“Don’t do that.” He muttered, his eyes never leaving hers. “Don’t act like you weren’t a major part of my life.”
“I was. Not anymore Joshua. Go back to Dasha and leave me alone.”
Josh’s jaw tightened as he took a deep breath trying to compose himself. “Look, I know –”
“No,” Jaiaina said as she started to shake her head. “I’m not doing this with you.” Josh looked confused as she started to close the door in his face, at the last second, he put his foot in between the door and the fame. Jaiaine huffed as he easily overpowered her and gently pushed her away from the door.
She stomped over to the bed and threw herself down on it, while Josh shut the door behind her and went to sit in the armchair that was placed between the bed and the window.
“Josh, it's been six months since we last talked. Let’s just go back to that.”
“I don’t want to. I fucking miss you Jaiaina.”
Jaiaina laughed making Josh scoff.
“The hell so funny?”
“YOU!” She exclaimed as she jumped from the bed and pointed at him. “You think you can just come swoop in like some type of Superman after what you did?! Fuck off, Joshua!”
“Jai, I know I said some fucked up shit but -”
“Said?! No nigga. It's about what you did!” She cut him off. “The fact that you fucked that bitch the same night we broke up was foul as hell Joshua!”
“Woah!” He called out, jumping to his feet. “I ain't do no shit like that. Fuck is you talking about.”
Jaiaina let out a humorless laugh. “Yeah okay.” She said mockingly with a roll of her eyes. “The bitch already told anybody who would listen. The same night you walked out of our hotel room, you went to her! And you fucked her.” Jaiaina couldn’t hold it back anymore, the tears that threatened to spill since the bar came flowing down her face.
"Jai, I swear to you, that's ain’t what happened," Josh said, his voice low and urgent. He took a step towards her, but Jaiaina backed away, shaking her head.
“Don’t Joshua. Just leave.”
“Hell no. I’m not going anywhere. I lost you once, I’m not doing It again.”
Jaiaina childishly covered her ears. “I’m not listening to any of the bullshit you are spewing tonight Joshua!” She uncovered her ears and narrowed her eyes at Josh. “Okay let's just say, you didn’t have sex with her the same night. You’re still with her now! And don’t deny it, I heard you call her baby.” When Josh didn’t deny it, Jaiaina felt her heart break even more. “Please just go. Go back to your girlfriend and go back to ignoring me.” She whispered as she lowered her eyes to the ground.
Jaiaina heard him sniffle but she didn’t lift her head to look at him. “I never wanted to hurt you Jai.” Jaiaina didn’t say anything back, she didn’t have anything to say. She was exhausted. She just wanted to go to sleep and forget all about Josh by the morning.
Josh sighed and started walking towards the door, the silence between them was too much. It was suffocating. He wanted to fix it. He wanted to make things right. But he didn’t know how. With one last glance at Jaiaina, he turned and walked out the door.
As soon as the door shut, Jaiaina broke down, she covered her mouth with her hand to try and hide her sobs. Outside, Josh leaned against the closed door, his forehead pressed against the cool wood. He could hear Jaiaina's muffled cries through the thin barrier, and each sob felt like a knife twisting in his gut. He wanted nothing more than to burst back in, to take her in his arms and explain everything. But he knew she wouldn't listen, not now.
April 18th 2017
Birmingham, Alabama
Jaiaina knew it was stupid to go through this surgery alone, but WWE provided the best doctors so she knew she was in good hands.
Waking up from surgery was a feeling she would never get used to. She let out a groan at the dull ache in her right shoulder and immediately she heard someone shh her and place a straw at her lips. The comforting sensation of the water helped clear some of the haze, but as she blinked her eyes open, the shock of who was sitting next to her hit her like a ton of bricks.
“I gotchu, relax.”
“What are you doing here?” She whispered, her voice scratchy and weak from the anesthesia.
“Making sure you alright and not alone.”
“Josh please –”
He shushed her again. “I broke whatever I had with Dasha off. Imma be truthful and say that yeah, I got with her to fuck with you after I heard the rumor about you and AJ but, I did not have sex with her that same night. To be honest, I never had sex with her, I haven’t had sex with anybody since you.”
Jaiaina’s jaw dropped open. She didn’t know how to respond to that. She had spent the past six months hating Josh because she thought he was a slimy asshole. She didn’t know how to feel right now.
“Josh I-” She started,
“I’m not asking you to forgive me, Jaiaina,” Josh continued, his voice soft but firm. “Not right away. Aight? I know I messed up, and I know it’s not gonna be easy. But I’m willing to work this out, but only if you want to.”
Jaiaina stared into his eyes, no matter how hard she tried she would never get rid of the love she had for this man. It was a big relief to finally hear the truth about the night that they broke up but he still hurt her by ignoring her for six months.
“Please.” He whispered. “I always seen you in my life. Always seen you as the mother of my kids. Just give me one more chance.”
Jaiaina’s breath caught in her throat. This was the most vulnerable she had ever seen him in the three years they had dated.
“Okay,” She whispered, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath. “But I swear on everything I love, this is your LAST chance.”
Josh's face lit up with a mixture of relief and hope. He gently took Jaiaina's hand, careful not to disturb the IV line. “I promise you, I won't mess this up again. I love you too damn much.”
Jaiaina stared at him for a second before a small smile came across her face. “I love you too.”
Authors Note: I'm sorry if this sucked 😮💨😫
I've had this halfway written for about a year and just decided to say fuck it and finish it. I really do hope you all enjoy it! ❤️
Side Note:
Jaiaina had torn rotator cuff.
Josh definitely bribed and threatened an intern to tell him what was wrong with Jaiaina LOL!

Hiiii! I discovered your blog recently and I’m loving it!!!!
Can I request a yandere who’s your younger brother best friend? (you’re both adults ofc)
He always had a crush on you but you always brush it off as some innocent little crush until your parents and your brother went on vacations (you couldn’t go cause you had to work) and he offered to stay with you so you wouldn’t be alone. And in the middle of the night he gets in bed with you while you’re sleeping and touches you
I'm sorry if this too specific 😅
(yandere younger brother's best friend x gn! reader) (cw: implied nsfw+stealing+drugging+slight somno, yandere stuff, manipulation)
you know the weird feeling you get in your gut whenever you sense something off?
yeah, you're currently feeling it.
and it's weird because... you're home alone. well not alone, your younger brother and his best friend are home.
but they're playing some game, holed up in his room so technically you're alone. so why are you feeling a sense of dread? did you leave the stove on? did you forget to submit some assignment? were you going to get killed?
...
nah, that can't be it.
you must just be overthinking. everything's fine after all.
maybe you're just tired. what you need is sleep.
so that's what you did, you turned off the television, walked to your room, got in bed, and went to sleep.
but when you woke up a few hours later, the feeling of anxiety only increased.
you woke up in cold sweat, shivering in your bed as you looked around. nothing was off, nothing at all. but why was your body on high alert? why?
your eyes took in every crevice of your room, trying to see if there was an intruder of sorts. nothing. wait, were those a pair of eyes in your closet? no way.
you blink several times and they were gone.
...maybe you need a drink. yeah, a drink.
you got out of bed, hand clutching your phone as you walked to the kitchen. pouring yourself a glass of water, you nervously scrolled tiktok to ease your nerves. but it didn't work. if anything, it only served as a reminder of how quiet the house was, even with the presence of two other guys-
what was that?
nervously turning around, your eyes were wide open as you prepared for the worst. that sounded like glass breaking! what if someone broke in- oh, it was just your younger brother's best friend...
you immediately let out a sigh of relief, not even bothering to notice how his hands were clenching around something that look oddly like your underwear and how his cheeks were flushed way too red for this cold weather.
"you scared me."
you laugh, drinking your glass of water as your brother's best friend chuckles awkwardly in response. well, at least the weird feeling in your stomach seemed to disappear. not totally but it wasn't as present as it once was.
"uh, sorry about that. just wanted to stretch my legs."
he stuffs his hand into the pocket of his hoodie, looking away from your face as he chews on his bottom lip. you smile at his response, shaking your head slightly as you walk back to your room. he was always awkward around you. this behavior was normal.
"yeah, don't worry about it! remember to tell my brother to drink some water, yeah? you too!"
you remind with a slight grin before patting him lightly on the shoulder. he flinches at the contact before calming down. huh, was he on edge too? he never flinches... especially when you touch him. weird.
whatever, maybe he was feeling extra paranoid today too. you soon got back into bed, laughing at your paranoia as he weird feeling in your stomach seems to gradually disappear.
and you even managed to fall asleep not too long after! how amazing!
and irritatingly convenient. it's almost like you were considerate for him and his obsession with you.
he soon slips back into your room, crouching beside your bed as he stares intently at your figure. his cheeks are flushed as he gently strokes your cheek with shivering fingers.
ah, you were so adorable when you got all scared and worked up. and he even got a front row seat to your fear through the gap of your cupboard! shit, do you know how hard he had to hold himself back from moaning out loud at the sight?
but it doesn't matter anymore. not when you were fast asleep.
god you looked so sweet like this, all passed out and vulnerable...
it was a little hard to get your brother to drink the intoxicated drink but the fact that he got to see this... ah, it was so damn worth it.
his hands trail down to your pretty lips, playing with them before he stops. his head drops as he lets out a soft sigh. his pants were painfully tight right now...
he then looks back at you, chewing on his bottom lip. you... wouldn't mind, right? he wouldn't be doing anything to you so... he's just doing it beside you!
if anything, it should be fine because you two would be dating soon anyways! it's fine... at least it's what he tells himself.
it's fine.
he repeats as his hand goes to undo his belt.
it's fine.
he mutters as his hand clutches your bed sheets.
it's fine.
he moans as he strokes your face.
yeah, of course it would be fine. you were meant to be his after all. he was just doing what any boyfriend would do when their significant other turns them on!
but it wasn't enough.
he shouldn't do more. he knows it. but... he can't help himself. he'll just touch your cute face a bit more... and stain your sheets a weird white...
and he's sorry that he's doing it but you were just so pretty! if anything... it's your fault! how dare you tempt him even in your sleep.
don't worry, it's not like you'll remember his touches when you wake up... plus, he didn't even do anything too drastic so... it's not that bad, right?
as long as you didn't suspect him, everything would be fine.
so just don't think too much and... don't listen to your gut, okay?

orange ☆ ennoshita chikara x reader
synopsis: reader is karasuno's second-year manager. during one of their morning trips to a tokyo training camp, something heart-fluttering with ennoshita happens. based on the song "orange" by spyair. details: fluff, ~1.4k words, gn! reader. i referred to characters based on how the reader would probably address them! takes place sometime during the season 2 tokyo training camp arc. warnings: none!
“I will spread my wings and take off straight ahead, Up to those beautiful orange morning skies. There’s only a second left, give me just one more, I beg — Every moment is precious to me like nothing else. I know…”
Although you normally hated waking up at the ungodly hours of the morning, you still buzzed with excitement as you stood in front of the rented school bus.
You’ve lost count of how many training camps Karasuno has attended now, but each time, you see the team reach new heights. Playing against Tokyo powerhouses truly pushed the team further.
“Are all the members here?” Shimizu asks, walking up to your right. You do a quick headcount, scanning the endearing mix of sleepy and excited boys. “Yes, all twelve are present.”
Shimizu nods and turns back to Hitoka, who is frantically running through a checklist. You chuckle at her diligence.
“It’s alright, Hitoka-chan,” you reassure the nervous first-year manager.
“B-but, senpai! It’s- I can’t- the first aid kit,” Hitoka stammers, clutching her clipboard. You look over the checklist Hitoka held and see that the first aid bag is the only item left uncrossed.
Hitoka spins her head around to inspect each bag pile in the driveway. Some of the boys who notice the first-year’s conundrum ask her what’s wrong.
You’re about to help Hitoka with her search, but that’s when you notice where the first aid bag is.
“Um, Hitoka-chan?” You can’t hide the giggle from your voice. Shimizu locks eyes with you, wearing an amused expression.
“Yes?!” Hitoka whips around immediately.
“You might want to look at the bag on your shoulder.”
Hitoka blinks for a moment before she looks down. She promptly falls to her knees, burying her face in her hands. This takes the entire team by surprise, causing even the sleepy members to startle.
“It was with me this whole time! I can’t believe this- I’m so sorry! I should be more careful and aware, I caused you guys to worry for no reason and, and-”
“Take it easy, Hitoka-chan.” You pat her back. “And just in case it did end up missing, there are always nearby convenience stores and pharmacies for supply runs.”
Hitoka quietly wails in frustration, then shoots her head up with determination shining in her eyes. “Okay! I promise to be more observant!”
You and Shimizu exchange another look, sharing a soft laugh. “I’m sure you’ll be fine,” the third-year says warmly. “Now let’s help sensei and coach load all the bags.”
“Alright, everyone. Last chance for a bathroom break,” you announce to the team, barely suppressing your laughter as you see a few of them visibly consider if they need to go.
After helping Takeda-sensei ensure that nothing was left behind in the parking lot, you realize that you’re the last student to board the bus.
As you step on, you scan the seats. Hitoka and Shimizu are paired up front. Right, it’s their turn to sit together today.
You check the line of single window seats, but all of them are occupied, leaving you confused.
Wait, they always leave one empty for one of the managers…
You find it a little odd that Tanaka and Nishinoya are occupying the single seats in front, totally knocked out. But, whatever, you can take the back seat-
“Would you like to sit beside me?”
Startled, you turn to see Ennoshita looking up at you with a sleepy smile.
“Huh?” you blink.
He pats the empty seat beside him. “No one’s sitting here. Plus, you’ll be right behind Shimizu-senpai and Yachi-san.”
Hitoka looks up at the mention of her name. “Oh! Senpai, I’m so sorry! I didn’t realize you didn’t have a seat left.”
You ruffle her hair gently. “It’s okay, Hitoka-chan. Don’t worry about it.”
Shimizu turns to them and puts a hand on Hitoka’s shoulder. “Yes, she’ll be fine next to Ennoshita.” Her gaze lingers on you for a moment. A subtle but knowing expression crosses her face before she turns away.
What did that mean?
You sit beside Ennoshita, feeling a flutter in your stomach. You’re used to his presence, but being this close feels different.
“Uh, thanks,” you murmur.
“No problem, I think the guys forgot that you normally sit there. They’re just sleepy-” The end of his sentence morphs into a yawn and he immediately apologizes.
“So are you,” you laugh. “Get a good sleep.”
“I will. You too.”
You both lean back into your seats as the bus starts to move. As the rumble beneath your feet turns steady, a comfortable silence settles between you.
You glance out the window, admiring the first rays of sunlight painting the horizon. The orange reminds you of the fleeting beauty of moments like this.
Your eyes follow the trail of light, which falls on Ennoshita’s peaceful face. The sight makes warmth bloom in your chest and spread to the rest of your body.
Before you know it, your eyes flutter closed.
“Shh, shh, be quiet, they’ll wake up.”
A series of whispers break through your hazy consciousness, but you keep your eyes closed, wanting to go back to sleep as soon as possible.
You’re confused when you realize that the bus isn’t moving and you can hear the birds chirping outside.
Maybe it’s a rest stop, your mind supplies. No one’s shaking you awake, even if you can hear footsteps padding up and down. There’s nothing to worry about, so— hang on.
You’re leaning far to your right, slumped against something warm, and there’s a light pressure on top of your head.
Before you have a chance to process everything, you hear a gasp, followed by a shushing sound.
“Take a picture, quick.”
“Idiot, my phone makes a loud sound.”
“What if we take one from the front and cover the speaker?”
“Hm. That’s actually pretty smart.”
“Boys, what are you-”
To their credit, you only hear a quiet, muffled camera shutter sound. Then, you feel the weight next to you shift slightly.
“We’re not saving you if Ennoshita finds out and decides to murder you two.”
Ennoshita?
“But they’re so cuuuute. I don’t care if I die at his hands for taking this picture.”
“Dumbass, he’ll make you do extra tutor sessions because you got them in it. Now move dude, I need to pee.”
“Ugh. Don’t snitch on us.”
Suddenly, it clicks. You’re leaning on Ennoshita and he’s leaning on you too. You don’t know how to respond. Well, not that you have to—you’re busy pretending to be asleep, after all.
“Tanaka, Nishinoya, enough. Don’t wake them up.”
“Yes, Captain.”
Things eventually die down after a few minutes, and you hear the hiss of the bus door closing.
You suppose you don’t have to worry about going back to sleep, taking comfort in the warmth of the person next to you.
You find yourself wishing for this moment to last forever.
A gentle hand on your shoulder wakes you.
“We’re here,” Shimizu says, coming into focus as you blink repetitively. There’s a grin on the senior’s face. Another look that seems to mean something.
“Oh…thanks.” You groan a little, rubbing the sleep out of your eyes. Although you’re unwilling to detach from your source of warmth, you need to stretch and get up.
Wait…why is it warm?
You freeze. Ennoshita’s still leaning on your side and…one of his hands is holding on to your arm.
Oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god-
“Ennoshita?” You tap his arm gently. “Hey, we’re in Tokyo.”
“Hmm?”
“We’re here already.” Your face heats up; your teammates sneak glances at the both of you as they pass by the aisle.
Ennoshita inhales to take a deep breath, but right when he’s about to exhale, his body stiffens and he sits upright.
“Oh my, uh, sorry, I didn’t mean- did that make you uncomfortable?” Ennoshita rushes out an apology, flustered. “I didn’t know-”
“Don’t worry about it!” You chuckle nervously. Really, don’t worry about it.
“I slept way too well,” he rubs the back of his neck. It’s adorable how flushed he’s gotten.
“Well, if it means you’re well-rested, I wouldn’t mind if it happened again,” you say quickly, not realizing how bold the words sound until they’re already out.
Ennoshita’s eyes widen in response.
You feel a little sorry for Takeda-sensei who is still making his way off the bus. He awkwardly whistles to himself, trying his hardest not to eavesdrop.
“Um. Well…that’s if you want to,” you avoid making eye contact with him.
You end up looking out the window behind Ennoshita. The pale yellow of the morning sun feels bittersweet, a reminder that the moment has already slipped away.
But, you’re reminded that every day, the sun rises and falls.
“I’ll take you up on that offer, then.”

Addicted | Luke Hughes
summary: when Alex and Trevor decide to voice their feelings about you it causing Luke to reevaluate his own.
song: Kiss Me - Ed Sheeran
request: yes/no
warnings: mention of underaged drinking, slight bit of swearing.
word count: 2.03k
authors note: this song has been calling my name since I put it on the playlist, and let me just saw that I’m not upset in the slightest. This picture of Luke made me laugh so much that I had to put it in. If you want to check out the rest of the celly you can do so here!
Luke had been in love with you for years.
Thoughts of you consumed his mind from the moment he woke up until the moment he went to sleep. His heart rate would increase and his palms would grow sweaty as he watched you run across campus before you’d tackle him into a bear hug even though you saw him the day before. Every time you were in a more revealing outfit he’d stumble on his words like he had never spoken English before. Every year it was like half of his brain cells never made it to the lake house as all he could do was watch in awe as you’d walk around in shorts and your bikini tops.
But it was fine because you felt the same way as Luke.
The first time you realised this was after a ballet recital of yours when you were six and somehow Ellen convinced all three of her sons to come and Luke said that your tutu was pretty on you.
It like your whole world combusted in that moment as your semi toothless grin joined the conversation “you think so pookie?”
“I know so sparky.” Luke was never one to shy away from complimenting you and it made you swear he only did it to screw with you. The way your cheeks turned crimson red as you’d chew as the inside of your cheeks trying to hold in the inevitable squeal of joy at the compliment.
All of the scales seemed to increase when you went off to college, your friendship grew stronger as you remained his number one supporter, your love for him grew deeper as his eyes never left you at parties because other girls were never what he wanted. Clearly since everyone else could see this you would should have as well, right?
Wrong.
Totally absolutely positively wrong.
His love for you could have been written in big pieces of card in front of your face and it might as well have been like you were reading another language because you wouldn’t have believed it. The same thing went for Luke, every guy you turned down never made him feel more confident. In fact it usually made him feel worse.
You had the most athletic players flirting with you, the start football and baseball players all weren’t good enough for you. So what was to say that some hockey player would be what you wanted?
Luke was usually a confident man, he got that from being around Jack that it became a learnt trait. Yet you seemed to make him feel like a normal kid again. There was no need for the title of being drafted, or for his family name. To you he was just Luke or your pookie and it slowly ate up at him.
Just like every other year July meant it was lake house time. It was the third day of the trip and it was hotter than ever, literally the sun was scorching and you were out soaking it all up. Your bikini was the smallest one in your closet and it avoid the tan lines your top string was undone as your stomach lay on your towel.
Luke had been enjoying the sight he really was, your feet occasionally bounced as you had your favourite songs blaring through your AirPods and it was a sight that made his mouth water.
But when Trevor and Alex walked back in from the porch and started talking about you it caused the youngest Hughes boys mood to turn for the worse.
Trevor shook his head as he grabbed a drink from the fridge “I don’t know how you haven’t made a move yet Hughesy,” he confessed as he cracked the cap of the bottle open.
Alex nodded in agreement “huh?” Luke furrowed his eyebrows as he knew that they were talking about you.
The Ducks player smiled “y/n is out of this world,” he pointed out as none of the older boys were stupid, you were a pretty girl and they all knew it.
Except Trevor was the only one who ever let you know about it, the constant flirting that came from his lips during this lake house trip. It seemed you being over the age of eighteen let you move away from the title of only being Luke’s friend.
Words of warning wanting to tell Trevor to fuck off were desperate to leave Luke’s mouth yet they couldn’t as you walked into the living room.
An oblivious smile formed on your face “what are y’all talking about?” You asked as you reached into the fridge to grab the container of cut up mango that you had made earlier that morning.
Trevor let his outstretched hand reach into the container as he took a piece “just about going for a ride on the boat later,” he lied as his eyes never left your mouth as some of the fruit juice dribbled down your chin landing on your bikini top “hope there is room for me on that boat,” there always was room for you but you were enjoying flirting with Trevor.
Sure you weren’t attracted to him like that but he certainly wasn’t harsh on your eyes “for you sparky? Always.” The nickname was one that you had picked up when you were five, you learnt what electric currents were when you found two wires in Quinn’s room and decided to place them together. The eldest Hughes couldn’t help but laugh when he walked in to see how your eyes lit up like you were in a candy store.
Luke scrunched his nose at the smile you sent the ducks player as you continued you eat your mango but when you pushed your hair behind your ears letting your chest now be on full display the Hughes boy could no longer take it “put this on,” he mumbled as he held out his baseball jersey.
You furrowed your eyebrows as you looked white fabric “okay?” You shrugged as you took the Tigers home jersey and slotted your arms into it.
But that didn’t seem to be enough for Luke as he came over to you and began to button the buttons up “Luke!” You groaned saying exactly what Alex and Trevor were thinking as they sent the boy a glare “perfect,” Luke smiled as he softly pulled your hair out of the jersey letting it lay flat behind your back.
His dagger eyes were sent to both Alex and Trevor the entire day, even on the boat when Quinn was teaching you to drive it and even when you were on Luke’s lap.
“Am I missing something?”
Your question pulled Luke out of his thoughts as he looked at you “what?” He asked as he let his fingers draw over your leg.
It irritated you as you could see that something seemed to be going on between Luke and the two older boys “you seem mad at them,” you sighed as your lips formed into a pout.
Sure it might have been childish to be upset but Luke usually told you everything “it’s nothing,” he shook his head causing your fingers to grip at your can of seltzer.
Yet your pokes didn’t go quiet like he’d hoped “Luke-” your soft words were only met with a glare “just drop it okay?” His complaint was only met with your wide eyes.
Thankfully at that time you were in need of a new drink. So you got up to get yourself a refill.
The boys watched in amusement as you walked back into the house “you really fucked that one up Lukey,” Trevor teased only adding to the boys anger.
Luke clenched his fist “you need to shut the fuck up dude!” He warned as he got up as he pointed his finger at the older boy.
It seemed like this was all bubbling up over today “just go ahead all to her,” Quinn’s voice was soft as he knew that you were on his brothers mind.
The youngest Hughes boy took a large gulp as he remembered that he had lashed out at you first.
Your head remained in the fridge as you looked at the different options for drinks.
The cool air on your face made you grow calm. It was soothing as you tried to not cry, you knew you were overreacting but all of Luke’s actions today seemed to weigh up on you in this never ending battle that you had created based on the feelings you felt towards the boy. Your thoughts were pulled away from your brain as the sound of the glass sliding door shut.
You turned around and was already faced with Luke “Jesus Christ!” You cursed as you clenched your chest.
Luke’s face softened as he looked at you “sorry,” he apologised as he crossed his arms.
He wanted to reach out to hug you “why are you so mad at them?” You asked as you watched the hockey player pick at the bracelet on his wrist.
All of the explanations that went through his mind all didn’t sound valid “it’s stupid,” that was the honest truth, he knew he was over reacting but that didn’t make it any less irritating to deal with.
You scoffed as you sat on the counter “that never stopped you from telling me,” you pointed out as most nights were spent with Luke in your bed laying his bed on your chest as you combed your fingers through his hair.
The way your lips were plump and your cheeks were tinted with a hint of red from the sun that had landed on in them made you look so very kissable.
But Luke remained stood where he was “they think you’re hot,” he explained with his voice barely a whisper as though he was ashamed to admit to it.
Your laugh made him feel better “do they now?” It was a clear stroke to your ego as you watched the boy grow embarrassed.
It shouldn’t have been nearly as amusing as it was “you thinking I’ve got a new best friend to get?” You joked causing him to furrow his eyebrows with annoyance.
Luke situated himself between your legs “‘ts not funny,” he mumbled as he rested his head on your shoulder.
A smile found its way onto your face “it’s pretty funny,” you nodded as you hooked your fingers under his jaw forcing him to look at you.
Your eyes were soft as they studied every feature on his face as though it was the first time you’d seen his face “it doesn’t matter if they think I’m hot,” you explained as you watched his face grow confused “only matter if it comes from a guy who hasn’t even said it.” You added as your tongue darted between your lips.
The hockey remained as clueless as ever when you let your thumb run along his jaw “who?” He was almost asking because he needed to finally hear that dose of reality of who it was that went through you mind in the way you went through his.
A moment of silence was heard so loud that a penny dropping wouldn’t even be noticed “looking right at him.” You confessed causing his eyes to widen.
It was like he was at a crossroads as the ball was now in his court. Truly nothing went through his mind as he was desperate to find the right course of action. The girl he had loved for all of these years, the girl he had longed for to be more than just friends, the girl was you and here you were with all of your cards out waiting for him.
Yet there he was frozen in time.
Again it seemed like it was your turn once more. So you leaned forward as you kissed him, it was brain meltingly perfect. Like that moment you do something that feels so good it makes your brain all hazy, like that.
Luke pulled away with his smile as his finger ran over your lips “what’s got you all smiley?” You asked as you cocked your head.
“I got the girl of my dreams.”

Rushing into It
Lily stood tall in front of the mirror, her lips curling into a satisfied smile. She admired the reflection staring back at her—a body she had designed down to the last detail. Her platinum blonde hair, perfect tan, and fit, toned physique were all thanks to her invention. “It worked,” she whispered to herself. “I can’t believe how well it worked.” She ran her hands over her flat stomach and curvier hips, marveling at how easily she had transformed.
Behind her, Maddie was equally thrilled. She turned from side to side, admiring her own reflection. Her sleek brown hair framed her face perfectly, and the fitted white blazer hugged her curves in ways her old body never could. “This is incredible,” Maddie said, her eyes lighting up as she adjusted the blazer over her chest. “Lily, you really outdid yourself this time.”
Lily gave a confident smile, adjusting her skirt. “I told you it’d work. I mean, this is some next-level stuff. Temporary physical transformation, perfect for us to blend in at the sorority rush tonight. We’ll look like we belong—just long enough to see what it’s like.”
She turned to Maddie, her eyes gleaming with pride. “You have no idea how long this took me to build. I’ve been working on it for months. Late nights, constant revisions, tweaking every little detail. It’s the most advanced thing I’ve ever made. It altered our physical appearance completely.”
“Just for one night,” Maddie added, grinning. “We’ll fit right in, get the experience, and by the end of the night, poof—we’re back to normal.”
Lily nodded, smoothing her new blonde hair and glancing at the clock. “Exactly. One night of not being laughed at and scorned for being smart. One night of being pretty instead of plain.”
The two girls exchanged excited looks, adrenaline rushing through them. “We’re going to kill it tonight,” Maddie said, eyes gleaming with anticipation. “I mean, look at us.”
Lily laughed. “Oh, for sure. No one will even know we’re us.”
But as she turned to the mirror one last time, something nagged at the back of her mind. Her smile wavered slightly. “You feel okay, right?” she asked, casually at first.
Maddie glanced over at her, still smiling. “Yeah, I feel amazing. Why?”
“I don’t know,” Lily said slowly, pressing her fingers to her temples. “I just… maybe it’s nothing, but I feel a little… off.” She tried to shake the feeling. “Like… I don’t know. It’s probably nothing.”
Maddie shrugged, not giving it much thought. “You’re just overthinking it. We’re fine.”
Lily nodded, but something still felt wrong. “Yeah, maybe. It’s just… I’ve been so focused on how we look, but what if—”
Maddie smirked, adjusting her top and examining her new curves with satisfaction. “Yeah, well, we definitely look the part for rush now.” She glanced at the clock, watching the seconds tick closer to the event. “And we’ll blend right in, no problem.”
Lily twirled a lock of her hair around her finger, then suddenly frowned. “Wait, what’s rush again?” she asked, blinking in confusion.
Maddie froze mid-pose, her eyes narrowing. “Lily, don’t be stupid. We’re rushing the sorority tonight. You know, the whole reason we used the device?”
“Ohhh, yeah! Rush!” Lily nodded enthusiastically, her confusion disappearing as quickly as it had come. “Right! So… what do we do there again?”
Maddie’s lips thinned into a straight line. “Are you serious right now?” Her voice was sharp, but Lily just blinked innocently.
Lily let out a small laugh, bouncing on her toes. “It’s fine! I mean, how hard can it be? We just go in, talk to some girls, have fun, right?” Her smile was so genuine, it was almost painful. “Do you think they’ll have, like, snacks? Oh! Maybe cupcakes!”
A cold chill settled in Maddie’s stomach. She looked at the device on the desk. “Lily, the transformation… it’s not just physical, is it?”
Lily blinked again, her smile faltering for a second before returning. “Huh? Oh, no, no, it’s totally fine! I’m just, like, maybe a little tired or something?” She twirled another strand of her hair around her finger, her eyes glassy.
Maddie grabbed her by the shoulders. “Lily, focus. You made the device. You know how it works. How do we change back?”
Lily’s smile wavered as her brows knitted in confusion. “Oh, um… the device… right.” She paused, her blue eyes clouding over as she tried to focus. “It’s… temporary? Yeah, like… um…
Maddie rolled her eyes, muttering under her breath. “I should’ve known you’d end up like this.”
Lily blinked. “Huh? What’d you say?”
“Nothing,” Maddie snapped, suddenly feeling a sharp pang of irritation. She was concerned, this could be bad. Really bad.
But then Lily opened her mouth again. “Do you think I should, like, curl my hair more or just leave it straight? Oh! Maybe I should’ve gone with a pink top! Pink is so cute, don’t you think? I mean, blonde and pink—”
“Lily!” Maddie barked, glaring at her. “Shut up for five minutes, okay?”
Lily’s mouth snapped shut, her eyes widening. She looked like a scolded puppy, her lip trembling slightly before a nervous giggle bubbled up. “Oh, okay! I can be quiet! Totally quiet!” she said quickly. Then, not a second later: “So, what are we gonna say when we meet the girls?”
Maddie groaned, pressing her fingers to her temples. “I can’t believe this is happening… you’re a complete airhead.”
Lily cocked her head, looking puzzled. “Airhead? What’s that supposed to mean?”
“It means you’re being stupid, Lily,” Maddie snapped, unable to stop the venom from dripping into her voice. “You can’t even remember why we’re here, and you keep asking me the dumbest questions!”
Lily’s eyes welled up, and her lower lip jutted out in a pout. “I’m not stupid, Maddie! I’m just… I’m just excited, okay?” Her voice trembled slightly. “Besides, I, like, totally remembered what rush is. I just—”
“Shut. Up.” Maddie’s patience had worn thin. “If you ask me one more thing, I swear, I’ll—”
Lily blinked, tilting her head in that confused way that Maddie was beginning to despise. “Why are you being so mean?”
“Because you’re annoying me,” Maddie snapped, her voice louder now, more forceful. “And I don’t have time to babysit a ditzy blonde right now, okay?”
Lily’s face fell, but instead of standing up for herself, she just looked away, playing with a strand of her hair, her mind drifting to something else entirely. “I’m not a ditz,” she muttered quietly, but it was as if she didn’t even believe it.
Maddie sighed, rubbing her temples. “We need to focus, Lily. We need to get through tonight without embarrassing ourselves. Can you do that? Or are you going to ask me if cupcakes will be served again?”
Lily gave a small, nervous giggle. “Cupcakes would be nice, though.”
Maddie rolled her eyes, muttering to herself. “This is a nightmare.”
Maddie stood there, trying to maintain control. Lily’s mindless questions were grating on her. Her patience was shot. Her concern, replaced by something else.
She glanced over at Lily, who was now humming to herself, completely oblivious. “God, I can’t believe I’m stuck with you,” Maddie muttered under her breath. “How did I ever think you were the smart one?”
Lily turned, her face bright and cheerful. “What’s that, Maddie?”
“Nothing,” Maddie snapped, her irritation building. “Just… forget it. You probably wouldn’t understand anyway.”
Lily blinked a few times, then smiled. “Okay!” She went back to adjusting her top, clearly unfazed.
Maddie stared at her, her jaw clenched. She could feel her frustration bubbling over, and with every second, she found herself wanting to lash out. Why was Lily so dumb? Why did she have to be stuck with someone so… so beneath her?
Maddie’s eye twitched. She was done. “I am going to be the best damn sorority girl they’ve ever seen. And you—just keep your mouth shut and look pretty.”
Lily’s face brightened. “Yay! I can totally do that!”
“Of course you can,” Maddie muttered under her breath, already regretting the idea of not testing the device’s mental effects first. But there was no going back. Not when they both looked so… perfect.

OPIUM POPPY
Masterlist
This is nuts, I never in my whole life have I’ve seen so many pumpkins in a short period of time, I mean in 15 minutes.
I totally forgot the first week of October Lilian receives like every year a full load of pumpkins from a local farm, for sale on halloween. It was until early morning a big truck parked in front of the florist’s full of pumpkins.
“The back room is full, I think we should put it here.” Gael said, coming out of the room full of orange fruits. “Don’t worry, it's normal, relax.”
I nod as I keep signing the paper of receipt; between the bouquets, pumpkins start to take place.
The sound of the door makes me realize that yes, customers will be coming along with the pumpkins.
“Hi, I’ll be there in a pumpkin.” The scoff of Gael makes me correct myself. “In a second, I’ll be with you in a second.”
“This will be over in four days.” Gael jokes with me walking around the place trying to put in order all the pumpkins.
“Days?!” Gael carried another pumpkin to the back room.
“So, all are here.” I get down my head trying to figure out who four days can become, at least in two.
“Everybody here knows, huh?” The soft giggles sound familiar now, turning around I see Joe arm cross but with a smile.
“Lilian let us know a few days earlier pumpkins are coming.” I curse underneath seeing the last pumpkin enter the florist’s.
Gael greeted Joe in total calm with a bouquet in his hands. Mental note, asking him why he didn’t say anything the first few days I was here about Joe.
“This is about to be smashed, where do you want it?” A small opium poppy bouquet is safe in his hands, I was working on that before the pumpkin rain interrupted.
I looked around beside the bouquets in their places, it wasn’t any empty spot.
“I’ll take it.” Joe answered by taking the bouquet looking around to the orange room. “And my pumpkins.”
Making Gael and I laugh. “Are you leaving my heartsease?” This time Joe laughs so hard.
“Just for a while.” I chuckle taking the bow to put the ribbon around it, meanwhile Gael takes the 5 big pumpkins to Joe’s car.
“I haven’t seen you in days, you get the number?” This time I chose a yellow ribbon.
Joe clears his throat and a big smile appears on his face, good news. “I did.”
“And?” I give it to him one more time, but he licks his lips. “No way! You haven’t texted her, right?”
“It’s not that easy. What could I tell her?” Joe complains, raising his shoulders.
I cross my arms. “Who could tell? Joe Burrow it’s a shy guy after all.” The loud bump of Gael's arm distracts us for a second.
“I’m fine! I don’t see the wall.” Joe and I laughed seeing Gael carrying the last pumpkin.
I think for a second when Collin's message gives an idea. “What about if you tell her about your day?”
Joe scoffs seeing the flowers. “My day?”
“Hey! If you tell her, maybe she will tell you about hers. I bet you don’t have a boring life.” Joe laughs softly as he puts his hands on his waist. “I don’t know, the good one on this it’s Lilian, you should have asked her when she was here.”
One more time the door opens, this time the Hunter twins arrive with big eyes running when they see the pumpkin ocean.
“Mom, it’s time!” Mrs. Hunter smiles knowing that maybe her shop of flowers will turn in a car full of pumpkins.
“I’ll leave you, thanks for the advice.” Joe jokes as we walk to the exit. “I’ll send you a photo after I finish my work of art.”
He points to the 5 big pumpkins in his car. “I count on that.”
It was a long day, a lot of pumpkins are still around, it seems we barely reached clean the front of the florist’s. Gael came from the back room tired as I was ready to go home.
“Do you need help tomorrow for the small ones?” I choke with my sip of water.
“Small ones?!” Gael jokes and explains to me, the first day the big pumpkins arrived and the next the small ones, less than big ones. “Omg!”
“I’ll come tomorrow morning, have a good night boss.” Gael said, walking with his backpack to the exit as he picked his big pumpkin.
On my way to Lilian’s apartment a message from a strange number appears on the screen. Joe sent a photo of one of his big pumpkins, a scary face on it, set in his front door.
I thought if with the frequency of his messages increasing I’ll probably not see him so much, to be honest it’s way much easier, order flowers than come to pick it up, but no; his 3 day visit continues with the same excitement as always.
“Ok, ok, wait for a second.” I stretch my arms and hands.
When Lilian knows that I have a local full of pumpkins and there aren't any of them on our door, she calls every morning, afternoon and night until I agree I’ll try my best to put at least one.
In all my life, yes, I decorated pumpkins but my mom and dad, even Collin, are in charge of taking out all the pulp and giving it a proper form, until today.
Reason why, I’ll call my dad early this morning to guide me through this.
“We’re almost there honey, just one eye and a nose and it will be over.” Dad had his cup of coffee next to him as he finished his third pumpkin.
“I 100% prefer painting them.” After a week, the florist’s is empty of pumpkins, with halloween in 3 days, you start to see kids with costumes from early hours.
One more hour and I finally finished one pumpkin. “We can start the other when you feel ready.”
I shake my head taking out the gloves as I scoff. “Lilian said one, there is one.”
Dad laughs as he smiles softly at me. “One kid far away and the other ready to go.”
Lately with me away from home and Collin next to do it too, our parents turn into really sentimental people.
The sound of the door announced the first customer of the day. “I have to go, thanks dad.”
He smiles waving his hand before hanging out.
I found Joe with his bag in his hand and sunglasses on, making me smile. The Bengals have a game in Las Vegas.
“You know, there are barely a few sunlights.” He laughs as I point to his sunglasses. “I guess you’re leaving early, huh?”
Joe nods. “We do. And you’re covered in orange.” I look down at a lot of pumpkin on me.
“I just made horrible things to a pumpkin.” He laughs as he is searching for something in his bag. “I sadly guess, there is no bouquet today, huh?”
“I’m afraid don’t but…” He smiled when he found it in his bag. “Here.”
A small pumpkin painted in gray an black, it’s squidward.
“Oh my God! This is amazing.” I observed utterly fascinate.
“It’s for you.” My brain stops working for more than a second. “You said you need one, so, I’ll hope it works.”
I feel so flattered for a pumpkin. “Whoa, hm, thank you, thank you so much.” Joe smiles grow bigger after seeing me smiling.
“Well, mhm I have to go, I’ll see you when I come back.” I nod unable to say another word as he walks out of the place.
Until I see an orange opium poppy on the desk. “Joe!” He stops outside of the florist’s; with a tremble on my hands I give him the flower. “Who dey.”
Joe chuckles and I could swear I see him blushing.
Halloween approached in a blink of an eye, suddenly it's Halloween morning; people with costumes since the very first hours of the morning, kids running all over the streets excited for the night and another just with a small item of Halloween in their clothes.
“In your house?!” Gael screamed from the backroom, he just arrived. “You can come with me.”
I chuckled as I took a last review to the orders of the day. “Take your boss to a Halloween party? No, I will pass.”
Since yesterday night when I told him I'll be resting at home on Halloween night he keeps complaining that I should go to a bar for a drink instead of spending the night in Lilian's house.
“Besides I have candies to give, a lot of them.” I bought a lot of bags of candy. If I plan to be at home, kids will be coming too.
Gael came out with a few flowers for a bouquet. “At least do a proper horror movie marathon.”
“Count with that.” I pat his arm. “It's all right, I'm exhausted after all, don't forget this is all new for me.”
Gale bluffs as a customer gets inside picking up the first bouquet of the day.
The day passed with more movement than I expected. After midday, kids started rushing asking for “trick or treat”, people looking for bouquets and another for a specific type of flowers for their costumes.
Gael leaves earlier, he has a party to go and the night is here.
“OH MY FUCKING GOD!” I jumped and screamed as I turned around finding a big mask of an alien.
Joe takes out the mask giggling. “Happy Halloween!”
With my hand on my chest I shake my head. “What are you doing here? You should be with your girl at a party or something like that.”
Joe blushes, repeating the same words. <My girl.> “She has to work, so she will probably be tired, I don't want to rush anything.”
I smile proudly. “Whoa, I'm gladly surprised, how thoughtful. Still you have a party right?”
He has a mask and a strange UFO suit. After a big win, they came back that same night. Joe told me some of the guys want to be here to spend Halloween with their families.
“I do, one of the guys is making one.” Joe looks around his eyes and stops in the small pumpkin on the desk smiling.
“Hey, great game. I heard you crushed the other team.” I said looking for a ribbon for the last bouquet of the day.
“You heard? You didn’t watch it?” His disbelieving tone made me close my eyes and smile.
“You played the same hour as San Francisco. I can't help it.” I put the ribbon when I lifted my eyes; Joe is biting his lip kind of indecisive. “Are you ok?”
“You know, there is a big divisional game next week…” He lifts his head rubbing his neck.
“Yeah, the Steelers.” I nod fitting for not blushing like a tomato in front of him, the uncountable times I see the videos and pictures of this now so vividly in front of me.
“YES!” He clears his throat. “And… San Francisco has his bye week.”
Never fails to make me laugh. “I know.”
“What about if you watch it?” Joe asks but his eyes are closed.
“Yeah, sure.” His eyes open right away, looking for something in his jacket.
“In the Stadium.” It's two tickets for Sunday's game.
I take them, opening my eyes so big. “Are you joking?” Clearly exciting for the invitation. Looking in detail it's first row tickets. “No way!”
“I mean you could bring someone if you want.” It's hard to contain the thrill even when he knows the only person I could bring is Gael.
“So funny.” I look at the tickets then at him who has a soft smile. “I'll go, count on that!”
Joe was about to speak but my excitement came with a big hug. “Thanks Joe.”
He tense for a moment but a second later, I feel his arms around me in a warm hug.
“Is there a chance I will meet the mysterious girl?” I asked, slipping apart.
Joe cheeks turned red and whispers almost inaudible, and I’m not sure if I could hear. “I think you already did.”
My phone started to sound, Collin is calling.
“Sorry, it's my brother I have to pick up.” Joe shakes his head, taking his mask.
“I have to go too. I'll see you in the week before the game, ok?” Joe almost crashed into the wall of the entrance.
“Careful.” He smiles in a shy way. “I'll be here, believe me.” He nods, walking out with a fist tight.
I didn’t have to ask Gael twice to come with me, still he gives the same friendly recommendation. “Making friends outside of the florist's it’s a good option.”
Late at night the day before the game I received the call from Lilian, with good news, if things go as planned they’ll be here the second week of december.
“That’s great!” Lilian laughs. “I mean, I'm having a great time here but you know, I'm happy for you…”
“And…” She asked as she kept preparing her clothes for breakfast with Jason’s friends.
“Well, I don’t mind being less involved in hand work.” Meanwhile I was taking out my shopping from this afternoon.
“I bet a lot of pe…” She stops everything and looks right to me. “Hold on, hold on, what do you have there?”
I see the last things I take out, a bag of chips, a scarf and a beanie. “What?”
“The black, orange beanie.” She points at the camera like she knows where I put it.
“Oh, this.” I raise the beanie, the beanie has a orage-white nine on the middle of it. “Right, I forgot to tell you, Joe invited me to the game, tomorrow's game.”
I'm aware of the corners of my lips going up.
“Right.” Lilian has a title head and narrow eyes, like I have something more to tell. “Are you going with h…”
“God! Lilian you’re making this awkward, I’ll invite Gael to come with me; Joe just invited me and gave me the tickets.” I shiver at her mind making a whole story that fast.
“Sorry! You put all the things for me to start to make my own theories.” She looks more relieved going back to her task.
“He has a girl he likes! OMG! We've been talking about that!” I stand walking to the kitchen to make dinner.
“I know! But… I thought that girl might be you!” I heard Jason asking if everything was alright, he heard the screams. “Fine, Y/N and I we’re having a talk.”
I giggle, imagining Jason nod as he comes out slowly for the bedroom, he has seen and heard our talks so he knows we tend to raise our voices.
“See, even you scare Jason.” I chuckle seeing her face turning red. “Whatever I have to go.”
Lilian nods, taking her phone so she can whisper something. “Have fun with…”
I hang out laughing at how imaginative she could be most of the time.
Sunday morning, I found Gael waiting for me one hour before the game started. Honestly I wouldn't mind coming on time, either I don’t mind seeing Joe a little bit more.
“All I’m saying is these are pretty good seats.” I followed Gael through the corridors of the stadium until we came out. “See, just behind the touchdown line.”
Our seats were a few distance from the middle of the touchdown line, having an amazing view of the field, and soon of the game. On the field the players from both teams are finishing their warm ups, going to the locker room and getting ready for the ceremony.
“You know what would be crazy?” Gael said as we sat marveling at the view we had. “They walk right for that hallway.” He points to the big entrance a few meters from us.
I scoff taking a picture for sending to Collin who I bet will burn for this. “Wait, I thought you had already come to a game before.”
Gael nods. “But not this close. These seats at this time of the season are expensive.”
His words trigger something on my mind. “Joe has a box here, right?” He nods and points to where it’s.
Even from a distance I see a few people there and I keep wondering if the mysterious girl is here too. I am dying to meet her.
“You think you can get us a pass for that?” He raises and lowers his eyebrows making me laugh.
My words get stuck when I see Joe walking to the other side of the field, he finishes his warm ups, fully concentrates; takes a few minutes to sing and greet the fans near that zone.
“Damn it! So close.” I chuckle, Gael complains like he didn’t see him at least once at time in the store.
A balling game, what you heard it could be a game of few points turn on the ball coming on going to the other side of the field.
Related to the ideas of Lilian still lingering on my head I almost could swear that in a touchdown Joe approached way too much to zone where we are.
By the end of the game, Bengals win for a touchdown; we remain until the last players left the field, waving our hands to Joe who left after answering some questions.
On our way to take a bus, I received a text from Joe; he asked if I could bring a bouquet of opium puppies in an hour when all the duties of the game ended.
Gael offers to come with me to the florist’s and go back with me but it’s Sunday, I’ll be able to handle this.
“What does it mean?” Gael asked me to give him the last flower. “The flower.”
“Peace and hope.” He nods. “Why?”
Gael opened his mouth but closed it again. “Nothing, it’s just… Nevermind, my tricky mind.”
“Are you sure?” I put the bow in the middle.
He nods. “You think you’ll meet the girl today?” Gael asked, sitting on the chair.
I don’t know who's more excited, him or me. “I’m counting on that.”
Joe gave indications for which part of the stadium I must get in, so I just followed instructions when I found a girl at the door, just like he said.
“Hi, I…” The girl smiles at me like she found a treasure.
“Y/N, right?” I nod and extend the bouquet to give it to her but she shakes her head. “Oh, no, Joe asked us to let you come, this way please.”
I follow her seeing players coming out tired but clearly excited for going home with their families and a home win.
“Wait, wait.” A big guy stops us looking at me with narrow eyes. “Cute girl, with flowers and… “ His eyes turn wide open. “Y/N?”
I take a step back, surprised by he actually knows my name, the girl giggles but doesn't say another word.
Ja’mar who was walking behind him, eyes on his phone, stops when he hears my name.
“Y/N?” He looks at the bow on my hands. “Please don’t tell me my man makes you bring this.”
“Am, yeah?” Chase shakes his head, making me more confused than I was a second ago.
“Why are so many…” A new guy appears with a bag on his hands, when he sees me, like the two other guys he smiles. “You came here with flowers?”
I nod. “Yeah, Joe asked me this.” I innocent question couldn’t be harmful right? “You know the girl right?” All look at me with a choke head. “The girl who Joe likes?”
My excitement left them speechless and confused. “Don’t you?” Chase asked with open eyes.
“How could I know her?!” I throw my head back frustrated. “Joe just came for flowers and…”
The disbelieving expressions, and tender smiles bring memories to my mind; the unusual visits, the texts and photos, the eyes and smiles. Drain the blood of my brain.
“He gave you a pumpkin of Squidward?” The strength on my fingers faded away making the bouquet fall off my hands.
“Oh my…” My phone starts to sound, with trembling hands I take out of my pocket finding the name of Joe on the screen.
Unable to pick up, my brain starts to work as fast as it can, when I lift my eyes, my heart stops for a second.
Joe was walking outside, with comfy clothes as his eyes are on his phone and in his hands a beanie. My phone rang one more time, he heard it lifting his eyes and found me surrendered by big guys, a bouquet on my feet and I swear pale as a ghost.
“You...”

Been thinking a lot about stoner!Abby
CW: weed, smoking, almost smut :3, cursing, making out
Word count! 914
Proofread? Yes. No. Sorta
Abby is in bold
Reader is in italics
Ellie and Dina in normal
Thoughts in red
A/N: i haven’t seen anyone writing about stoner!abby so I decided to write about her :3 this is kinda a mix between stoner!abby and dealer!abby. I might write another part of anyone wants it. Also wanted to say thanks for the support I have gotten on here!!Requests are open :)<3
Abby never really seemed like the person that would smoke. Yet here you both are in her room rolling up together.
“Pass me the grinder” Abby says while reaching her hand to you. You pass it to her and watch as she puts a couple nugs into it. Strong veiny hands grinding them up. You watch intensely as her arms flex with her movements. “You’re drooling”
You look up at her suddenly feeling your face heating up. She chuckles while opening up the grinder and starting to roll up a joint. She sticks out her tongue, sealing the joint. “Here” she brings it up to your lips. “Huh? No you rolled up so you take the first hit” you say pushing the joint back to her. “Fine” She grabs her lighter, lighting up the tip of the joint.
You watch as she takes a hit and inhaled it. You observe her face carefully as she exhaled. She’s so hot and you can’t stop thinking of how her beautiful lips would feel on yours. How her muscular arms can lift you up and fuck you just right. Just then Abby placed the joint between your lips, bringing you out of your dirty thoughts. You take a long hit before exhaling. “Fuck that’s good” you say. “Only the best for my girl”
What.
You feel your whole body get hot at her words. So much hotter than you’ve ever felt before. Hands slightly shaking and panties totally soaked. Maybe it was just the weed infiltrating your system but you felt really horny.
“Wanna see something cool?”
Once again Abby pulls you out of your thoughts with her words. “Yea what is it?” She gets up from her bed and reaches her hand out for you to grab. “You’ll see” she says with a grin on her face. She pulls you out of her room and to the end of her hallway. “A basement? Are you gonna murder me?” She lets go of your hand and grabs your chin to make you look up at her. “That’s the plan”
You giggle as she grabs your hand again tugging you down the dimly lit stairs that reveal…weed? She’s growing her own fucking weed. “Abby what the fuck” she smiles widely while showing off her various plants. “Where do you think i get all my weed?” “I don’t know I always assumed you got it from a dealer”
“I’m the dealer baby”
———
“Fuck” you say under your breath as you watch her roll up another joint. You feel your wetness pooling in your underwear once again. The ache starting to get unbearable just from watching her arms move around. “Why are you looking at me like that” she says turning towards you. “Like what?” You say, looking up at her face. “Like you want me to fuck you”
“Shut up no I’m not” you say looking up at her again. “I don’t know babe that’s what it looks like” she says while walking towards you. You awkwardly giggle before speaking again. “You’re crazy..it’s really hot in here abbs can we go back up”
And just like that you guys are hand in hand again walking up the basement steps. You guys walk into the living room and you sit down on the couch. “You hungry?” “Not really but I could go for a snack” “you have me” you giggle at her words. “Come here then”
You didn’t actually expect her to go to you but to your surprise she did. She grabbed your hips to lift you up. Legs around her waist and arms around her neck. “Abbs you’re gonna drop me oh my put me down” you squeal. You look at her face and she’s quiet. Is she gonna kiss me? Fuck she looks so pretty this up close
“Can I?” You don’t answer, instead you smash your lips onto hers. Tongues exploring each others mouths.she tastes like weed, not that you’re complaining tho. She pins you up against the nearest wall and starts kissing a trail from your mouth to your neck to your collar. Using her hands to lift up your shirt exposing that you don’t have a bra on. She massages your breasts while going up to kiss you again. “Fuck abbs” you groan.
Now you’re laid on the couch, legs up and Abby between them. “You’re so wet for me baby” she says while her fingers graze over your clothes cunt. You moan and squirm around a bit. “Touch me Abby please I need-”
KNOCK KNOCK~
Fuck
Who would be knocking at our door at this time of day? Abby gets up with a groan. She wasn’t very happy about the interruption either. However, she still walks to the door to open it with you at her side after you’ve put your clothes on.
“HEY GUYS”
Ellie and Dina. Of course. “You guys wanna have fun?” They say holding up a bag of weed. You were already having fun with Abby but you can’t blow off your dear friends who came to visit so damn late at night. “Sure” you say with a smile. They walk inside and you go to the kitchen to grab them some drinks as they start rolling up in the living room. You feel someone’s presence behind you. You realize it’s Abby as you feel her strong arms wrapping around your waist.
“I’ll give it to you later babe” she says kissing your neck.
Great now I’m horny again

Friday, 8pm?
Info: I literally had to search up if the subways were a thing in 1933, ALSO THIS ISNT PROOF READ OR HAS GONE THROUGH GRAMMARLY SO IGNORE TYPOS OR DOUBLE WORDS
Warnings: weird creepy guys, cat calling
Summary: (the request)— as you walked out of work a bunch of creepy guys tried following you home, luckily your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man saved the day
You we’re walking out of work, it was a normal day, if you could call any day normal it’d be today, it was fresh as the sun began to set, and the sky got darker. Your shift had ended earlier than usual, so you walked out and began walking to the subway, so you could go home, and eat something as quick as possible.
You walked down the streets of the city, your bag in one hand, your waist apron in the other as you began stuffing it inside your bag along with your other possessions.
Of course this nice evening had to have turned wrong in some way, it would’ve been much more terrible if New York was invaded by a monster, but for you; New York decided to gift you with men who invaded your space.
A whistle was heard two feet away from you, before a man walked up next to you and began talking to you, saying several things; “what’s a pretty girl like you doing out right now?” The man asked, you tried walking faster but only followed “could you leave me alone?” You asked him, being nice about this never worked for you. But it was worth a try, right?
He continued following you asking more things; he was being a little too personal, and now you had to walk through several streets that led to places you didn’t even know, the one thing you didn’t want him knowing was your address so you just walked through the city, and your stomach was grumbling from how hungry you were.
You lost him eventually after a while of walking, he had lost you in the subway, which you couldn’t be more grateful for. You got on and after getting off walking through the city some more, going to your favorite pizza place, you walked out the building and once again; you were found by another, very much older man.
He couldn’t have been thirty years old, he looked much, much older than that. “What’re y’doin out tonight honey?” The man obviously sounded drunk, he put his arm around you and you took that as your cue to push him away.
“Where y’goin hon?” He asked as he jogged over to you and placed and hand on your waist. You were about to push him away again and jog or run away, but before you could even turn your head, he gasped and pulled his hand away; almost pulling you with him as he fell to the ground.
You let out a quick gasp as the man fell and went completely unconscious before you felt yourself being pulled away, you couldn’t comprehend anything before you were standing faced to face; or mask.
In front of a familiar black goggled mask. “what the hell-” you said with a sign as you realized it was Spider-man. “You okay?” He asked, his hands were placed gently on your midriff, “mhm, yeah I’m good..” you nodded at him as he looked you up and down.
“You sure..?” He asked as he continued looking you up and down “yeah, I’m fine” you reassured him “you have a thing for needing my help, huh?” He said, you could almost see the smirk form in his mask.
You chuckled and nodded “yeah, maybe, but I’m fine thank you for saving the day” you smiled at him, his knees almost buckled as your lips curled up. “So, you don’t want me to swing you home?” He asked, a smirk behind the mask, you wished you could see his face so badly right now, you always wanted to see him.
“Well, no, I’m not denying a swing home” you grinned, “so is that a yes?” He asked and you quickly responded with a nod. He held you by the waist and soon enough he had you in the alleyway, next to your complex. You two walked to the front of the bricked three story building.
“Thank you, again” you smiled at him once more, “it’s no problem, I’m Spider-Man remember?” He said as he walked back through the alleyway, you wished you could invite him inside to have a coffee, or just a conversation. But then again, you didn’t know him, he probably wouldn’t accept the invite, and you had no courage to ask.
So you walked inside and headed up the stairs to your small but cozy apartment, you immediately headed to your room to set down your bag. Noticing a shadowy figure through your window to the fire escape.
You noticed his goggles again, “you we’re waiting for me?” You asked opening the window, “you thought I wouldn’t?” he chuckled, “are you sure your not just stalking me?” you giggled, “m’no” he shook his head gently as he let out another airy chuckle.
“I’d be worried if you were” you smiled, you put your hands on the ledge and leaned a little closer to him, “I wouldn’t do that, without your permission” he said, smiling dumbly under the mask, you could here the playfulness in his voice, but also how sincere and sweet he was.
“Take me to dinner first” you smiled, feeling heat rise up your cheeks, “I could, if you wanted too” he said sweetly, “I would say yes, so you should” you leaned a little closer, you almost thought he leaned closer as well.
“I’ll get a reservation than” you could see the wide grin imprinted in his mask, it made you smile more, you nodded hoping that was a good enough response, you hoped that he couldn’t see how flustered you were beginning to look.
“I really like you..” he whispered, the smile under his mask never faded, “I, like you too” you nodded “yeah, I really, really do” you told him, leaning in closer, he noticed it this time and pulled his mask down to his nose before he leaned in and kissed you.
To say this was perfect could’ve been an understatement, but that was the only word you’d use.
You leaned closer, as much as possible, gripping the ledge of window, one of his hand let go of the web he’d been hanging (upside down) on. He placed it in the back of your head, gently pulling you closer to him, as if you weren’t close enough.
You hadn’t even noticed how your hands had been holding the back of his head too, “I, uhm..” you gulped as the heat rushed to your cheeks. “So, dinner next Friday eight pm?” His grin was visible now.
You nodded smiling sheepishly, “good, I’ll make sure to forget the mask” his grin widened, “thats, good” you smiled at him. He nodded off and said his goodbye, you turned back and walked over to your dresser thinking about how
You just kissed Spider-Man.
You just kissed Spider-Man?
He watched you from the window, as you took off your work shirt, he wanted to knock on your window so badly. If only he had the courage.
—
Hope y’all like thisss🙈

Dancing 'Til the Break of Dawn - Pt16
<Pt15
(TWST Zombie apocalypse AU where Yuu beast tames just a little too close to the sun)
You know, Yuu had thought that he had seen it all. The apocalypse, the cannibals, the weirdly nice moments that sporadically poked through all of the gloom. He’d thought he was finally used to it. That nothing could surprise him anymore.
He was a fool.
Because nothing had prepared him for –.
“Is that a fucking furry?”
“I’m not a furry!” a surprisingly young voice groaned.
The three teenagers glanced at each other. And then their eyes slid back down to the fursuit the guy was wearing.
The guy pulled off his(?) head, sighing as he tucked it under his arm. He was a relatively normal-looking dude – with scraggly blond hair and gray eyes, sure, which wasn’t particularly common around these parts, but Yuu’s cat was green so he couldn’t really say anything about that.
… okay, he was normal-looking save for the fursuit.
Honestly, Yuu wasn’t sure what animal it was supposed to be. The ears were round? Maybe a bear? Why was it fucking blue of all things?
A fish, maybe?
No, fish don’t look like that.
Was it wrong to ask?
Wait, he was being impolite. Problematic, even.
“We’re not, like, kink-shaming you,” Yuu said, despite the fact that he totally was.
“It’s the apocalypse, you do you,” Deuce said, awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck.
“Yeah, yeah,” Ace echoed. “Whatever makes you feel confident, I guess.”
The stranger’s face flushed a faint red. It was probably hot in that suit, especially when he was so close to the fire. He should probably take it… off…
No, he shouldn’t, please don’t, actually, Yuu has reconsidered.
“It’s – I have an explanation!”
They waited, patiently, for said explanation.
The person looked relieved that they were even being given a chance. But they couldn’t seem to explain themself, because they kept awkwardly opening and closing their mouth, starting sentences just to stop them immediately after. Finally, they turned around, peering into the dark.
“Jack, come out and explain it, you’re better at this.”
Oh. There was another one.
Yuu was going to have a breakdown.
He sent the person in a wolf fursuit a weak smile. “Nice to – nice to meet you.”
The person cleared their throat. “Yeah, so, it’s to protect us from zombies. They won’t be able to chew through it, y’know?”
“What – what about other survivors?” Ace asked. “Like, I could slash through that stuff just fine…”
“Most people we face are disoriented enough for us to disarm them,” Jack said.
That checked out.
“... why didn’t you just wear full denim, instead?” Deuce asked. “Same effect, but less…”
There was a beat of silence. If they could see Jack’s face, Yuu was sure his expression would be the kind you wear when you’re looking over an old test and see something you got wrong that you really shouldn’t have. Original Furry (or was he a furry by proxy?) looked at Jack, who shifted awkwardly from foot to foot.
“It wouldn’t cover everything,” he defended himself, weakly.
Everyone continued to look at Jack, varying levels of incredulity etched on their faces.
He cleared his throat. “Besides, double denim is a crime against fashion. Right, Ruggie?”
‘Ruggie’ nodded a little too hastily for them to see it as genuine.
And, regardless, they had eyes. Common sense. Free will, even.
Yuu looked, pointedly, at the fursuit once again. “A crime against fashion, huh?”
Jack coughed, awkwardly.
Deuce was the only one kind enough to divert everyone’s attention:
“You should probably, like, cake that thing in bl – mud or something,” he suggested, squinting Ruggie’s bright blue fursuit. “It’s super noticeable.”
Ruggie lifted his hands in a kind of shrug. “In the dark, you can’t see colors. There isn’t much of a point down here.”
Yuu, who had spent more time in the dark over the past day than he would like, could see his point. There were simply things that were close by, and things that were further away. Dark and darker. If they hadn’t been right next to a fire, it would have been fine, and Yuu doubted that they spent that much time by fires.
But Yuu had to admit that he wasn’t sure what they would do up on the surface.
If they ever went to the surface.
Ace must have come to a similar conclusion, because his eyes narrowed suspiciously. Still, he was quick to correct it by crinkling them in a smile that Yuu knew was entirely fake.
“We should get going,” Ace said, dipping his head politely. “Thank you for having us.”
Ruggie raised an eyebrow. “Really? We were just about to have dinner. We got our hands on a couple of Twinkies.” He leaned in, conspiratorially. “Want to learn whether or not they really have an infinite shelf life?”
Yuu had never wanted anything more.
He pressed his lips into a thin line. If it was Twinkies, then they would still be in their packaging. If the food had been tampered with, then they’d know, since the plastic would have to be damaged in some way. So, it wasn’t as if they could poison them. As for a direct attack, they were wearing bulky fursuits, so they weren’t really threats.
And, really, everyone knows you can’t kill a man while he’s eating Twinkies! That’s just fucked up.
So, after looking at Ace and Deuce to see whether they had caught something he’d missed, he shrugged and nodded.
“Sure. Twinkies sound great.”
“That’s not really a dinner food, though,” Deuce pointed out. “Yuu can cook something.”
Yuu sent him an incredulous look. “You can’t just – volunteer me to cook!”
“Yeah!” said Ace. “Only I can do that!”
“No?”
Ruggie snickered behind his hand. “Well, I’d never turn down free food.”
Yuu sighed. What did he do to deserve any of this? Outside of starting the apocalypse, because he hadn’t done that, remember?
Somewhat reluctantly, he sat down by the fire. Held out a hand, grinning when Deuce handed him his backpack. He rifled through it, pulling out a few scattered ingredients. They had some rations. They had packed enough for about a week, but they’d have to scrounge for food sometime soon…
Onigiri, maybe? he mused, pulling out a jar of umeboshi.
But the problem with umeboshi was that they’d have to commit to eating it for the next few days, since it wouldn’t keep. Was Yuu ready to make that kind of commitment?
He sighed, popping it open. Sure, whatever. Maybe Jack and Ruggie would be freakishly into umeboshi, and Yuu wouldn’t have to worry about maintaining the leftovers –.
“You guys can come out,” Jack said, turning to peer into the darkness. “They’re safe, I think.”
Yuu felt as if he had been doused in cold water. He immediately stopped considering the plums, his head jerking around to find a few people (also dressed as furries, yay…), slowly stepping into the light. Ace and Deuce pressed closer to Yuu, their hands tightening on their weapons.
Yuu swallowed thickly, watching them all crowd around them.
… it didn’t matter if they were outnumbered, because, at the end of the day, they were all in fursuits. They weren’t going to be able to move fast, and trying would only end up in clumsy movements that Yuu could take advantage of. He was safe. He was safe.
He took a deep breath to steady himself, before flashing a smile, his head tilting to the side. “At least I won’t have to worry about leftovers! Are all of you down to eat umeboshi?”
One of them, in fact, was not. Leona, a guy in a lion fursuit (no, Yuu was never going to get over that, because what the fuck), strode over. The head of his costume was tucked under his arm like a demented kind of football, but he tossed it aside to pick up the jar Yuu was holding – clumsily, his giant ‘hands’ ghosting around it a few times before he finally managed to grab hold of it – and lifting it to his nose. He sniffed, experimentally, before jerking the jar away from himself so fast that a little bit of the pickle brine sloshed over his fursuit.
Yuu grimaced. That would be a pain to get out.
But, frankly, Leona deserved to suffer for not liking umeboshi. It was, probably, a crime. Too bad there wasn’t a legal system around to prosecute him anymore.
Everyone else was happy to eat it, so Yuu decided to make one with plain rice for Leona and call it a day. He was a saint, but even saints wouldn’t make a whole alternate dish just for one person! He was doing this for free!
… wait, how did he get roped into this? Hadn’t he said he didn’t want to?
He sighed, scooping up the jar again. He’d already opened it, he supposed he had committed to helping.
He passed out the onigiri as he made them. Ace and Deuce got theirs first (at the exact same time, because there was no way Yuu was going to deal with one of them complaining about favoritism), and then Yuu started on the ones for the random people they had stumbled across.
In the meantime, Ruggie pulled a backpack out of the front of his suit and set it in front of himself, picking through it until he found the promised Twinkies. He tossed them to anyone who asked. Yuu grimaced when the one he asked for hit him in the shoulder, sending Ruggie a glare.
“You could have waited until my hands were free,” Yuu sniffed.
Ruggie lifted his hands in a nonchalant shrug. “I wanted to see if you’d drop the food in your lap.”
He rolled his eyes. “Someone’s not getting any onigiri.”
Ruggie narrowed his eyes, before snatching up the Twinkie at Yuu’s side. “Fine. No Twinkie for you, either.”
Oh. He didn’t think that through at all.
“Wait, Ruggie, let’s talk about this –.”
~
“So, who do you think the actual furry is?” Ace whispered, grinning.
“Who says one of them actually has to be one?” Yuu asked, rolling his eyes.
“I mean, someone had to figure out that the costumes are hard to bite through. And who goes around biting furry costumes?” Ace reasoned, far too smug for someone talking about furries in an abandoned subway during the zombie apocalypse. “I rest my case.”
“It’s got to be the lion,” said Deuce, after a moment’s thought. “I feel like, if someone’s gonna be a furry, they’ve got to go for a cool animal, right?”
Ace and Deuce were, of course, done with their food and now crowding around Yuu with pleading eyes. Yuu was pretty sure that the conversation was meant to distract him from the fact that he had already made them food. But whatever. He could make them seconds. Onigiri was filling, but not particularly nutrient-rich. There was a chance that Ace and Deuce would get more out of the Twinkies than the onigiri. So, yeah, he would gladly feed them a little extra. He didn’t want them to keel over, after all.
He sighed, sending them a briefly annoyed look so they knew it wasn’t because of their attempts at manipulating them, before getting to work.
Ace smiled, only a hair sheepish, and only for the sake of alleviating Yuu’s annoyance.
“So, what do you think, Yuu?”
Yuu raised an eyebrow. Jerked his head in Jack’s direction. He was one whom Ruggie called upon to help explain their case; therefore, he was probably the one who had come up with the idea. The guy was also totally the kind of quiet guy who claimed that he was secretly a wolf on the inside or something. Hell, he was even sporting a wolf cut (admittedly, this was probably because access to barbers was limited here, but it was still apt)!
Jack’s face flushed. Unsurprising, seeing as Ace and Deuce were not trying to be quiet in the slightest.
“I’m not –!” He huffed. “Fine, here’s the lowdown.”
Apparently, they had been a football (or, as Americans say, sah-cah) team, back before their lives had all taken a turn for the worse. The outbreak had started during a game, and their team mascot had managed to fend off the zombies for quite a while, which was how they had figured out that they could be used for protection.
Ace, Deuce, and Yuu shared skeptical glances, but decided it wasn’t worth it to argue right now, so they simply nodded and asked them to continue.
Ruggie, it turns out, was wearing said mascot uniform. It was a hyena.
The football team didn’t know why the hyena was blue, either. It wasn’t even their school colors!
But, as Yuu chowed down on his own food, finally, looking around, he couldn’t quite ignore this feeling that was nagging at him. A faint buzz in the back of his mind. It was only after he had finished counting the seven furries that he figured out what, exactly, was wrong: “Uh, aren’t there supposed to be, like, eleven people on a football team? Minimum?”
Leona raised an eyebrow at him. “Well, families are supposed to have at least three people, but you don’t see me pointing out the distinct lack of parents here.”
Yuu’s eyes fell back to the food, his face flushing, feeling thoroughly chastised.
“At least two people,” Deuce corrected, quietly.
Leona grimaced. Ha!
“And there’s three of us here,” Ace said, slinging his arms over Yuu and Deuce’s shoulders, dragging their faces close, until their faces squished against each other’s. “So… it’s, by your definition, a complete family.”
“I think I mentioned ‘parents’,” Leona sighed. “But, sure, fine.”
Ace smiled, languid and catlike, as if he had won. No one wanted to argue with him, so Yuu supposed that that was close enough.
But Yuu only had room in his heart for one catlike smile, and he wasn’t really the type to let his friend’s ego get too big: “You’ve made your point. Get off.”
“No. I don’t feel like it.”
Deuce started leaning against him, too.
Yuu rolled his eyes. Truly, he suffered more than anyone else. Where was Grim when he needed his personal attack cat to scare people off?
Yuu gave a hiss when Ace slumped further against his back, his arm beginning to dig into his shoulder a bit too much.
He turned his head, intent on telling his friend off.
Only to find Ace’s eyes drooping, his head slowly falling to press into the back of Yuu’s good shoulder.
Yuu, with a casualness he didn’t really feel, set down his food to rest a hand atop Deuce’s head. The boy immediately sighed contentedly and threw his arms around Yuu, as if he were a body pillow.
Admittedly, this behavior wasn’t entirely strange, not for them. They had been sleeping near each other lately, cuddles weren’t exactly out of the question…
But neither of them would ever be quite this relaxed in the face of strangers. Hell, they were barely ever this relaxed in Grim’s presence, even though the zombie had already (more or less) proven that he (probably) wouldn’t eat them (unless the situation was dire).
No, something was wrong.
“Ace?” he said, slowly.
Ace gave a low hum, as if to say he was listening.
“Move your arm for me?”
Ace’s arm flopped off of him.
“Great, thanks,” he said, though he barely even registered that he was even saying it. He was too busy trying to figure out what it was that had poisoned them. It couldn’t be gas or anthrax, plenty of the furries had taken their costume’s heads off and would be succumbing too. It couldn’t be the Twinkies, Ace had made sure to punch holes in the three cake packages, listening for the telltale whoosh of air exiting the package for the first time, to ensure that they were truly untampered with… and, besides, Yuu hadn’t gotten to his yet, and Deuce had been waiting in solidarity, so that wouldn’t explain what had gotten to Deuce.
And, now that he thought about it, hadn’t he been a little more quiet for the past half an hour? Hadn’t he heard a buzzing in the back of his mind, a nagging feeling that something was wrong?
But if he had been poisoned, too, then how?
The only thing he could think of was the onigiri, but that had been made with Yuu’s ingredients and equipment. And no one had touched –.
Yuu lurched forward, shoving his fingers down his own throat.
Shit. Shitshitshit.
He needed to throw up. Now.
Leona had touched the umeboshi. Had made a show of struggling to grab it. Had jerked it away from himself, spilling a bit of the liquid over himself.
(Had dropped something into the jar. Had swished the liquid inside around, hiding the toxin that was slowly dispersing itself within the brine.)
As if taking pity on him, Jack lifted a hand, palm up, to show off the uneaten food.
Yuu finally managed to expunge his stomach.
He could hear Ace murmur something that might have been ‘ewwwww’. Deuce whined about how is ‘pillow’ was moving.
Yuu peeled them both off of him, pulling his gun from his waistband, pushing himself to his feet. Pointed it at the nearest person.
His fingers curled over the trigger, his hands shaking, his knees weak. He couldn’t tell whether it was anxiety at the idea of murdering someone or the toxin that had to be in his system already.
“Why is that one still aware?” Leona asked, sounding irritated.
Ruggie sighed. “He didn’t eat until after everyone else, what did you want me to do?”
Jack’s lips pressed into a thin line, staring at the gun aimed at his chest. He gave Yuu a strange, pitying look. And then looked at everyone else, almost imploring. “They’ve been nice, you know, I don’t think they really need to be purged –.”
“If they were willing to come down here, they would have been willing to kill to move forward,” Leona drawled, pointing at the gun in Yuu’s clammy hands. “Or are you having second thoughts, Jack?”
Everyone’s eyes fell on Jack. If he were actually a wolf, like he surely believed, his tail probably would have tucked itself between his legs.
Jack looked at the ground. “No. I’m not.”
Oh. They’re not just furries.
They’re a cult.
Yuu’s fingers fumbled along his gun, unsure. He knew how to shoot, yes, but if he tried to do so then he would be proving Leona’s point. And he wasn’t confident in his ability to take on this many people in a fight, fursuit or no. Especially not when Ace and Deuce were out cold at his feet, free for the furries to use as leverage.
He would just need to… stall, then.
Well, good thing he loved the sound of his own voice.
“My cult is better than yours,” Yuu said, his eyes flicking to the shadows. Where were his stalkers when he needed them?
Ruggie spluttered. “The fuck? Excuse you?! One, we’re not a cult. Two, if you don’t worship Her, then you really must be purged.”
“You’re not a cult, you just believe in a god-like figure specific to solely you guys, declare everyone else the ‘outgroup’, and actively murder anyone who you believe to be ‘morally corrupt’,” Yuu said. “But not in the ‘cult’ way, in the fun, cool, totally hip way, right?”
“... yes,” said Ruggie.
Yuu nodded along, giving him a mockingly pitying look. “Right, of course. Well, I have a question: what happens when She doesn’t save you, and there’s no one else on the island for you to Purge? Who goes first?”
A hand settled on Yuu’s shoulder, fingertips digging into the bandages.
Yuu gasped, flinging himself forward, away from the hand. His hands and knees scraped against the floor, but he barely felt it over the fucking lava that had decided to make itself a home in his shoulder.
He flipped onto his back, pressing a hand to his shoulder. It hurt even more when he did that, but if he had popped his stitches then…
Leona stood over him, his expression cold.
Well, he supposed it wouldn’t matter anymore.
“He’s trying to divide us. We shouldn’t let him,” Leona said. His eyes lifted, briefly, to Jack, something that should never truly be considered a ‘smile’ playing across his lips. “Do the honors, will you? Since he’s clearly not intent on passing out the easy way.”
Jack looked at Yuu. Took slow, deliberate steps forward, as if he was trying to soothe a wild animal.
Yuu dropped his hand from his shoulder, fingers ghosting along the floor in search of his fallen gun. He hadn’t even noticed he’d dropped it, but he supposed he must have at some point –.
“Looking for something?” Ruggie drawled.
Yuu didn’t have to look up to know what Ruggie was teasing him about.
Instead, he kept his eyes trained on Jack as the boy picked up Deuce’s bat.
“Please,” Yuu said, forcing tears to his eyes. It wasn’t that hard. “You seem like a nice guy, you – you can’t –...”
Jack grimaced, even as he lifted the bat above his head. “I have to.”

Young Nick x Reader with size kink and dirty talk!
If you're comfortable thanks!🖤
😳🥵🤭🙈
It’s fine
* English is not my first language I apologise
* Triggers: 18+, smut, Size kink! Swearing and a bit of fluff
Y/N POV
I was laying in bed, watching a movie as Nick was downstairs partying with a few friends. ‘You sure you wouldn’t mind? I can ask Nina if she wants to come and hang out with you?’ ‘No I’m fine, I’m just not in the mood right now.’ That was our conversation a few hours ago as he said friends were coming over to celebrate his win. Normally I’m there with him, celebrating his wins but today…. “Babe?!” Nick yelled from downstairs. “Yes?!” I yelled back. “You want sum take out?!” “Yes please!” I heard someone walking up, it was Nate. “We’re going for take out, what you want?” He had his hands tucked away in his tap out hoodie. “Fries and a milkshake.” He nods. “Okay, see ya.” He turns around and leaves “See you later, close the door behind you…please.” He listens and closes the door behind him.
Nate gave me my food a hour ago, I was getting bored and hoped the party was over after the take out but I still heard them downstairs. I tried to sleep but my mind was going off to Nick, how he looked before and after the fight. Looking good, so tall and muscular….my hand went carefully under the sheet’s as I started to fantasise about my boyfriend, how he would tower over me, his large hands grabbing my hips. My fingers went to my clit as I started to please myself. I tried to not moan or make any other noises as I laid there, fingering myself with my eyes closed and head thrown back, mouth slightly open.
Nick POV
“If you guys don’t mind I’ll go to bed, it’s pretty late.” I was standing as the guys all sat or better lay on the sofa, totally wasted. “No, go to your girl, she probably all ready sleeping.” ‘I hope not tho…’ “alright, I’ll see ya guys in the morning then.” Nate nodded and grabbed a few blankets for the guys. “See ya.” I nodded and walked upstairs. I carefully opened my bedroom, not noting if she is awake or not. I walked in and saw her pleasing herself, moaning softly my name. “Nick..” I smiled and carefully locked the door. “Ohh fuck…” she mumbles and I carefully walked over to her, smirking at her. “You need some help?” She jumps from my sudden appearance, she jerk her hand away and her face became red, as she did something wrong and got caught. I chuckled and joined her in bed, crawling on top of her. She was embarrassed, looking away from me. “It’s okay baby don’t be embarrassed…” I caressed her cheeks as I placed a knee between her legs, slightly pressing some pressure against her throbbing pussy. “Nick…” she whines softly. “What?” I said with a smile on my face. She reaches over and slides her small hands under my sweater. “I still don’t know what you want baby.” I said as I softly kissed her neck. “You…Nick I want you…” she says as her hands roamed around my chest. “You want me?” She nods and kissed my chin. “Please….?” “Only because you’re asking so nicely.” She smiles and placed a view small kisses on my chin as I slowly took off her clothes. “Let me see my beautiful girl.”
She lay underneath me, completely naked as she pulled my sweater off and threw it away to the side. Her small hands went over my chest. “You’re perfect.” She says as her cheeks turned a bit red. “You like that huh? Me covered in bruises and shit.” She giggles and played with the strings off my joggers. My hands went to hers, covering her hands with mine. “Let’s not tease me, you know I don’t like that after a fight…” she nods and I threw my joggers off, throwing it to the side. She looks down, biting her lip. “You like what you see darling.” She nods and rubs my arm. “I want you.” She softly says as she reached down to my bulge in my shorts. She slowly pushed it down and my hard cock jumped out. Her tiny hand wrapped around it and started to pump it up and down. “Baby…” she looks up with her innocent big eyes. “Yes?” “Lay down for me.” She stopped and lay back down on her back. I threw my shorts off and moved on top of her, sliding my middle finger between her folds, she lightly grasped and I pushed my finger in. “Nick.” “I know but I need to stretch you out baby.” She bites her lip as I stretch her a bit more out.
“Nick please let me come..” she whines as I pulled out my wet fingers out of her soaked pussy. “Don’t worry about that, you will…” I kissed her head as I pressed my tip against her folds, teasingly pressing it against her. She moans and rubs my arms. “Nicky please…” I bite my lip and nodded and pushed myself slowly in. She gasped and squeezes my arm. “You’re so big…” “fuck… you’re so tight.” Her eyes got watery and I carefully moved. Feeling her tight walls squeezing around my big cock. She shook her head. “Nick please stop… it’s to much.” I slowed down and leaned more closer to her. “Baby, I know it hurts but you’re my good girl, I know you can take me…relax I won’t hurt you.” I caressed her cheek and she slowly nods. “Just…don’t move that fast.” I nodded and slowed down even more for her, I moved my hands down to her breasts, massaging them with my large hands. “I fucking love you, you’re so tiny compared to me.” “I-I love you too Nicky, I love you’re so…huge.” I smiled and rubbed her nipples. “So fucking horny for me huh, because Of our size difference huh.” She nods. “I love that Nick, just touch me please.” I smirk down at her. “So dirty minded…” I caressed her cheek.
She starts to moan softly and I sped up my pace. Her hands roamed around my chest as my hands traveled down to her hips. “I told you, you’re my good girl.” My hands squeezed her hips and she arched her back, causing me to hit her sweet spot. “Da-Nick…” I smirked down at her. “Say it baby, say what you want to say…” “Daddy…” she moans as I pressed my hand on her lower stomach, feeling my dick inside of her. “You like that huh, me fucking you and stretching you out.” She nods and grabs my arm. “Yes…” I raised my eyebrows. “Yes daddy.” “Such a good girl for me.” She moves her leg around my hips, pushing herself closer. “Oh fuck..” I mumbled, I grabbed her smaller hands and pinned them down next to her face. “Nick please…don’t stop.” “Baby, I thought I was Daddy.” I slowed a bit down and she whines softly. “I’m sorry, please daddy.” I immediately sped up again, I nuzzled my face into her neck, softly biting her shoulder. “Always so good for me, taking me so well, almost like a slut.” She shook her head, not liking those dirty words. “I’m not a s-slut… I’m just always horny for you.” I kissed her neck. “I know baby, my horny little girl.” I sucked on her skin, leaving marks behind. “I think I’m gonna come…” I felt her pussy clenching around me. Her hands got free and the immediately moved to my back. “You wanna come?” She nods. “I need your words…say it.” She moans and grabbed my shoulders. “Please Daddy, I wanna come.” “You want to come on daddy’s dick?” “Yes please..” I shook my head. “I don’t think you deserved it.” Her eyes got big. “But I’m your good girl? P-please.” I loved they way she was begging, her big eyes looking at me, pleading for mercy. “Okay baby, make daddy proud.” Her hands grabbed my shoulders, digging her nails into my skin, making me bleed and she came all over me, her legs started to tremble, her eyes rolled back and a moan escaped from her. Her tight pussy pulsed around my hard dick. “Fuck baby, you always make daddy proud, suck a good girl.” I slammed my dick into her. “Look at you, so fucking beautiful…” her boobs jiggled around and I felt my high was coming and nuzzled my head in her neck. “Fucking beautiful…you’re so beautiful.” I moaned and released my sperm in her. “I fucking love you baby.” She tiredly smiles. “I love you too Nick.” I pulled her smaller body close to my chest and started to caressing her back. “It’s okay to close your eyes baby, you did so well.” She nuzzled her head against me and closes her eyes. ‘She’s so small…she’s perfect for me.’

Totally Normal Meet Cute Script - Part 3
The final part to this absolutely normal meet cute story!
warning: it's not a normal meet cute... it's a slasher. you're in a slasher. good luck!
Performed by Jouska over on his youtube and his patreon!
Part 3 - It Always Ends at a Party
I absolutely agree, a house party is a bad idea.
But if we were going to go, we should go together, right? Safety in numbers.
Really, what would be safer, glasses, being the only two people staying home or being in a frat house packed to the rafters with other people?
[laughs] Okay, safe from a serial killer, obviously. Not safe from…everything else that can go wrong.
It’s not a fire hazard. It’s just a party!
I’m not saying that we should definitely go, I’m just saying that maybe we should think about going. It would be fun, and the last couple months have been… intense.
It’s not until next week anyway. You can think about it. Here, I’ll tack the flyer up on your corkboard right between this incredibly detailed list of goals for the year and… Is this an expired coupon for soft serve? Why do you still have this?
[laughs] You’re lactose intolerant!
I’m tossing the coupon.
What else do you have up here… I’m seeing a lot of sticky note reminders and take out menus…
I still have a half hour before my class starts. That’s plenty of time to get across campus.
It is for me… You should really reconsider coming out running with me in the morning. We can do a light jog! We’ll take it at your pace, just around the campus and back. You’ll love it, glasses. Okay, that’s a lie, you’re going to hate it, but I will let you complain the whole way and after we get back, you’re going to realize how much more awake you feel. It’ll change your whole day!
Really? [surprised] You’ll really give it a try?
Wait, are you agreeing to go running so you can turn down the party?
[laughs] I would take that deal, yeah… I’d much rather have you to myself in the morning than share you with a bunch of people at a loud party.
I’m not trying to charm you into anything!
That’s just flirting, glasses. I’m flirting with you.
[pause]
Wait… Did you not realize I’ve been flirting with you? Oh, glasses… Come on!
No, this isn’t a joke!
I’ve been sleeping in your bed for the last four nights!
[laughs] Extenuating circumstances?
Uh-huh… and what about when our study session turned into a make out session yesterday?
Are you blushing? Now? You weren’t blushing when you kissed me!
If we’re not dating, then we’re at least more than friends.
No? So, this is how all your friendships look?
I don’t know why you’re cramming all your books into that bag like you’re about to leave. This is your room and you just got back. I know your schedule, glasses. You have no more classes today. You even changed into your comfy clothes. Which you did right here in the room with me, by the way. I saw everything.
[laughs] Oh god, I don’t think I’ve ever seen you this red before…
So, you can kiss me, and sit in my lap, and snuggle up against me at night, so long as we never talk about it? Is that what’s going on here?
[closer, smiling] Am I like… your secret boyfriend? You know, I’d make great arm candy if you want to parade me around some. Like to, say, a party full of our peers?
[laughs] Okay! I’ll drop it for now. You can think about it. [kiss] I’m going to class. I’ll pick up dinner on my way back and then we can talk some more about how we’re definitely not a couple…
-
Glasses, why is my stuff in the hall? Are you throwing me out? I can’t tell because you folded everything so neatly…
Oh shit, you’re actually angry. Why?
Which dead girl?
What are you—
Oh.
Yeah… I mean, I met Casey a few times, but I didn’t know her.
What? Who have you been talking to?
I’m not lying to you! I… I slept with her a couple times freshman year. We were at some of the same parties and had some friends in common.
No, she was just using me to try to make one of my friends jealous. And that was fine because it’s not like I was hurt. We barely knew each other.
Why does it matter what friend?
[laughs unhappily] You don’t think I have friends?
Come on, glasses…
No, I stopped hanging out with them.
[raises voice] Because they were assholes! Because they made me feel like an asshole!
[pause]
[sighs] I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to yell.
Nothing happened. I just… I didn’t like myself or my life, and realizing that was rough. I bailed on everything I could. On clubs and on friends. I just, bailed, and no one fucking noticed.
[to himself] No one noticed. That’s the kind of friends I had.
Are…Are you seriously asking me that? I’m not using you. I was trying to get my life the way I wanted it and I just…I always had a crush on you and I decided to get to know you better.
Bullshit? Are you kidding? I’m telling you—
Just because you can’t see how amazing you are, doesn’t mean that I don’t! You care a lot about everything you do and everyone in your life.
No! I’m not trying to get you to fall for me just to make myself feel better. I can’t believe you’re—
[pause]
[confused] The guy from my building?
Okay, yeah, I did say I didn’t know him… I didn’t want to talk about it! So what if I did? I told you, I hadn’t talked to any of my old friends more than a few words for the last year. I never really knew them—
I didn’t know the couple! What the fuck are you even driving at?
You… [realization] Glasses, do you think I’m the killer?
Logical? No, it’s not! I was with you when we found those bodies! Do you think I’m some sort of deranged mastermind? You think I set it up like that? Why? To scare you into my arms? Oh my god, of course! And then I killed the guy in my building, somehow knowing that my dorm would be closed and I’d get to come knock on your door? If I’m this fucking brilliant, then why would I need you to be my partner for the final? Clearly, I’m a genius.
What?
[quieter] You don’t really think that. You’re upset about Casey and scared about the murders so you’re spinning out. No. No, if you thought I was planning to murder you, you wouldn’t fucking dump my shit outside and wait for me to come back to argue with you about it. You would have called the cops. Did you call the cops, glasses? No. Because you know I wouldn’t hurt you, or anyone else.
So what if I knew them? You probably would have too if you went to a party or joined a club, or just fucking looked up from your books!
No, of course I didn’t just make friends with you for the final project. You… You looked lonely. You looked lonely the way I felt lonely. And the more we talked, the more I liked you. That’s all. There’s nothing shady or murderous about it.
[pause]
[sad/tired sigh, annoyed] My building is open again, so I’ll move my stuff back to my room.
Fine, glasses. Have it your way. I’ll see you around.
-
[house party sounds, muffled music and background voices]
[surprised] Glasses? What are you doing here?
My roommate told you— You mean, you came to see me?
It’s been a few days… I didn’t think you wanted to talk.
[sighs] No, I’m sorry. I should have told you the whole truth, but I didn’t have anything to do with it. I barely knew them.
Glasses… Look at me. [softer] Look at me.
You know me. I would never hurt you. You know that, right?
You… [smiles] Yeah, I’d love to be your partner for the final.
Wait, did you come by yourself?
You shouldn’t have done that. The campus has a whole buddy system rule in place. [mock gasp] I can’t believe you broke a rule!
[smiling] So, you were counting on someone walking you home? I can definitely do that. You want a drink while we’re here?
Yeah, take mine. I’ll grab another. Do you want to meet some people? Or do you want to go hide in a corner and make out?
Yes, that’s exactly what happens at a party, glasses. Later we summon a demon with a Ouija board, but first we’re going to play spin the bottle and kiss some strangers… [laughs] I’m joking! About the Ouija board and the bottle. We’re still kissing strangers.
Ow! No hitting, we just made up!
Okay, stay put, I’ll be right back.
[party sounds]
[other voice, muffle from distance] What the hell is that?
[power going off, music cutting off, other voices rising in panic] Who did that? Turn the lights back on! It’s not funny! Someone—
[a scream, foot falls as everyone starts running]
Glasses!
Is that you? Oh, thank god. No, no, I don’t think that’s a prank…
[another muffled scream]
Come on!
Don’t let go of my hand. I think there was a closet over here…
[horror sounds (I’m so sorry audio creator)]
[opening the closet door and then closing it, muffling the sounds even more]
Shhh… It’s okay.
[breathing, sharp inhale]
[heavy footsteps walking slowly by outside, floorboards creaking, standing there, killer breathing hard in his mask, dramatic pause, walking away]
[exhale, still whispering] I think he left. It’s okay. We’re okay. We’ll just wait here until the police show up.
[nervous whisper laugh] I guess I did manage to get you in a closet even without spinning the bottle…
Did you see him through the crack in the door? Yeah. Yeah, he was huge. And that mask? What the fuck was that about? Did you recognize him?
I don’t know, glasses. I feel like if we knew a guy that size, we could recognize his build even with the mask on. There can’t be that many of them lumbering around campus…
What? No, I don’t smell anything… Oh shit.
Yeah, that’s smoke…
[muffled fire sounds]
[coughing] I don’t know. He could have started it, or it could just be a candle that got knocked over… Either way we need to get out of here.
We can’t just sit here and burn. Even if he’s waiting, we have to make a run for it.
Here. [keys jangling] Hang onto these. We’re going to bolt for my car. I parked along the woods, near the footpath.
You’re holding the keys in case… In case you get there first, glasses. Unlock the car, get in, lock it, and drive.
[laughed a little] I know you don’t have your license, but I know you can do it.
If a cop materializes just to arrest you, then at least you’ll be safe, right?
Right.
[coughing, fire crackling] No, if you get to the car first, don’t wait for me. I’m faster than you. If I’m not with you… Just don’t wait for me, okay? I’ll be there or I’ll find another way. He’s probably moved on by now anyway.
You can do this. You are the smartest, strongest person that I know. Just run and don’t look back.
Okay…
Three.
Two.
One.
[throwing open the door and running, fire sounds, footfalls, another door, muffled fire and the sound of the night] Go. Gogogo!
Keep going! I’m right behind you!
[running, gravel]
You see the car?
Yeah, just—
[reaching the car, fumbling the keys and opening the door]
[stops, silence]
[night sounds, muffled fire sounds, far away sirens, his pained groan somewhere close by]
[popping the trunk, gravel steps, pulling something metal from the trunk]
[speaker panting, fighting with the slasher]
[injured, surprised] Glasses? What are you—
No! Don’t come back. Just run!
[thwap as glasses hits the slasher]
Oh shit. Hell yes, hit him again!
[another thwap and someone thudding down]
[speaker panting, struggling to his feet, sirens getting closer]
You came back for me…
[coughing laugh] I think this is a little above and beyond for study buddies, glasses.
I got stabbed in the side trying to save you and you came back and fought a serial killer with my baseball bat, I think you can admit we’re more than just partners for the final.
[fire sounds. sirens]
Does this mean I get to move back into your dorm room?
[smiling] Yes, you can keep the bat.
[pained laughs] And you were right about the party being a bad idea… and a fire hazard.
[fire crackling, house falling apart sounds, cop cars skidding to a stop on the gravel]
Oh shit… Glasses… Where did he go?
He was right there. I didn’t even hear him get up.
Yeah, let’s get out of here. I think I might need that ambulance.
[think Halloween theme song fade out]
-
- Authors Note: I imagined this story as a meet cute going on in the background of a college campus slasher flick. In my head, the killer is primarily terrorizing someone else on campus and if it were a movie, Glasses and Dash would be background characters. When the killer vanishes at the end, he's probably loping off through the woods after his final girl to have that last battle before the credits roll.
And do I feel like an asshole for leaving instructions like "horror sounds" and "think Halloween theme song fade out"? Yes. I do.
Does Jouska somehow make that magic happen anyway? Yes, he does!
Will I learn to stop doing it? ...No.

Are we connected?
Chapter four: More social interaction then a depressed teenager can handle
first ,previous
(A/N: This chapter was going to be longer but i literally just couldnt sorry if the cutoff point is wonky but i need to stay on schedule there is a non zero chance i get grounded so if i miss an update or three you'll know why BUT grounded or not the next chapter will be decently long. Slightly extra but if/when I ever write another fic it is going exclusively on my ao3 linking all the previous chapters is so much work holy)
They wandered around town, once again talking to literally everyone they could, much to their dismay, having to socialize with this many people was awful. Having to be out this much was so odd to them, they only people they’d ever hung out with were Asriel, December, and Noelle, and they hadn't done that in a long time. It's not like they were against having friends again, but none of this was their choice. They had honestly mostly been disassociating, it wasn't like they had to pay attention when they weren't the one deciding where they were going or responding to any conversation.
“S-Susie!?” A high-pitched voice dragged them out of their thoughts.
“Noelle!” The voice in the back of their head spoke up, “Hell yeah, I was hoping to see you!”
“W-what are you doing here!?” She asked, ignoring the fact Kris was also there, but that's fine, not like they care or anything.
“I’m just following Kris” Susie shrugged, “I think we’re here to see your dad… again” She didn't seem too thrown by that at least.
“Oh… really?” Noelle apparently did, though, “That's really thoughtful of you Kris,” She smiled at them.
“It makes sense, Kris is weird like that,” Susie spoke idly, earning another look from Noelle.
Noelle knows Kris, she knows that they’re weird, but she knows they’re not weird ‘like that’. Noelle knows what Kris would normally be doing on a weekend, and that's laying in their bed, not walking around talking to people, not visiting her dad. Kris knows she knows this, they know she can tell they’re being different, and they can't tell her why. They want to tell her, they want to ask for help, but they can't say anything, they’re stuck in their own body.
Noelle looked as if she was about to comment on it but cut herself off as Susie turned to actually look at her, “I’m gonna go talk to my dad now!” She said, moving just fast enough to not be running into the hospital.
Kris, of course, followed her inside, messing with the piano and the lady at the front desk before going into Rudy’s room.
“Hey Krismas!” Rudy called from his bed, “Noelle said you were gonna show,” He grinned “And Susie, cool to see you again, I’m sure that’ll be more common,” He laughed, or wheezed
“D-dad!” Noelle squealed, smacking him on the shoulder
“Huh…?” Luckily for Noelle, Susie didn’t seem to understand what Rudy was implying
“Nothing, nothing,” Rudy said, his voice holding that wheezy laugh
“Ugh, Rudy, I love you, please don't die, I’d be very sad,” The player’s voice echoed in the back of Kris’s mind, and they tried to will it into shutting up. Rudy wasn't going to die. Kris had known him their whole life, and he was always strong, he was just a little sick right now, but he wasn't going to die. Kris didn't even want to think about what that would do to Noelle.
They walked over to go talk to Noelle and Rudy until the player had exhausted all the dialog options given to it. Kris is incredibly glad its limited to just that, they have no idea what it would do if it was given totally free rein, and they don't want to.
After The Player had double-checked, it had interacted with everything it could, Kris, finally, headed towards the door.
“Oh Kris, wait!” Noelle called, just as they were about to leave, “Would you wanna hang out at my place later, after you're done with… whatever it is you’re doing I mean, Susie can come to- If she wants!” She added the last bit quickly, her face getting red.
“No way, Holiday house!” The Player cheered, immediately deciding for them that they would be going.
“Great!” Noelle smiled at ‘Kris’s’ response, “I’m gonna hang out with dad a bit more, but I’ll be waiting by the gate whenever you’re ready” She finished
Kris nodded as they left the room, turning to Susie once they both left the building
“Do you wanna come?” They asked her
“Uh, I could.” She started, seemingly a bit caught off guard, “It doesn't seem like she likes me very much, I think I scare her” She finished, looking away “Susie, stop being STUPID” The Player yelled, which Kris honestly agreed with, Noelle was incredibly obvious with her feelings. To be fair, Susie was also incredibly dense.
“She likes you,” Kris informed her
“You think…?” She asked, more so to herself.
The pair went back to walking for a bit, eventually reaching Flower king. Kris stepped inside, looking at all the various things around the entryway.
“Are we like supposed to be in here?” Susie asked, “Don't get me wrong, I'm all good with breaking and entering, just wanna be prepared if we gotta fight the cops,” She finished, slamming her fist into her hand with a grin.
As she finished, one of the doors to the back opened, causing her to sort of bunch up in shock.
“Hello? Is someone there?” Asgore asked, as he walked into the main area, “Oh, Kris, howdy” He greeted them as he walked over, looking as if he was about to go in for a hug but stopping himself before awkwardly patting them on the head instead.
“Aw, no Asgore hug” The Player complained, “Dude honestly one of those would fix me” It added, Kris disagrees, they don't think anything could fix it.
“Oh uh-” Asgore paused as he noticed Susie, “Howdy, I’m Asgore, Kris’s dad,” He introduced himself, holding his hand out to her.
“Uh, Susie sir,” She paused before taking his hand and getting a firm handshake from him
“Ah, good to meet you! Kris, I’m glad you’re bringing your friends around, feel free to stay for as long as you like,” He told them with a grin
They nodded and looked around the back, now that those doors were open, before heading back out. They headed towards the water and stood on the weird circle, staring down.
“Onion-san summoning,” The Player said to itself, but after a while nothing had shown up “Abandonment,” it sighed.
“Hey Kris, check this out!” Susie called as she tossed a rock into the water, creating a small splash, “Nice, right?” She asked with a smug look on her face.
Kris paused before crouching down and finding a rock of their own, they ran their hand over its surface and mimicked the motion of throwing it before tossing it out, watching it as it skipped across the water.
“Woah sick!”
“Oh nice!”
Exclamations rang out, close to being in sync and, despite their disdain for one of the voices, Kris was proud to hear people actually being impressed by them.
“Dude, where’d you learn to do that!?” Susie asked, shoving them slightly, “You gotta quit hiding skills from me!”
“My brother taught me a while back,” They shrugged, thinking back on the memory, it was a while back, a good few years ago by now. Kris and Asirel’s parents had been encouraging them to go out more, looking back they probably didn't want them to be in the house while they argued, Asriel would stop by the Holiday’s house and bother December into coming out with Noelle. They’d all gone to various spots around town, but they specifically remembered that time by the water, Asriel was showing off by skipping as many rocks as far as he could. Kris remembers it being so cool to watch, and they had bothered him until he actually showed him how, they’d ended up spending a couple of hours out there until Kris was sure they had perfected it.
It was a nice memory, of course, but it felt so bittersweet now, Asriel was away at college, they hadn't really been talking to Noelle, and Dess was… gone. Kris wishes they could go back to how things were, when they were younger.
“Hey, Kris, You good?” Susie questioned, waving her hand in front of their face.
“Huh?- Yeah.” They blinked, “Yeah, I’m fine”
“You looked… down,” She said, taking a step back so she wasn't so close to their face
“Don't worry about it,” They waved her off
“If you say so,” She muttered, shoving her hands into her pockets
Kris nodded as they went back to walking, making their way towards the diner. The building was mostly empty, save for a froggit and a mouse(?) in an abnormally tall hat sitting at the bar, and the rabbit woman behind it.
“Oh, Kris, hey sugar, welcome back,” She smiled warmly at them “I see you brought a friend,” She said gesturing to Susie, who waved awkwardly. She paused for a second before continuing, “Today's a slow day, why don't you two go take a seat in the corner, and I’ll bring you some hot cocoa on the house,” She offered.
“Oh hell yeah, cocoa!” The player said, immediately moving to pick yes.

samy/niko and no. 9 please 🙏🏻💜
and happy pride! 🏳️🌈✨️
Happy Pride, Alex! 🌈 I almost didn't recognize you, with your new url and pfp :0
I feel like something....bad… must've happened while I was away? But at this point, I'm kind of afraid to ask 😅
Anyway! Here's 740 words worth of Samy pining.
9. “Fine, you can use me as a pillow.”
Samy stood in the middle of Helsinki Central Station, trying to look nonchalant. He definitely hadn’t spent twenty minutes debating which earrings he should wear today, and he certainly hadn’t splashed on more cologne than normal. Because this was not a date. He was just accompanying his bro to the tattoo parlor.
“Hey!” called out a familiar voice, and he turned towards the sound.
“Were you waiting long?” Niko grinned.
“Nah,” Samy shrugged. He absolutely had not arrived half an hour early, with butterflies in his stomach.
“Oh, here’s the train,” Niko noticed. “Perfect timing.”
He boarded the train car, and Samy quickly followed him. They sat down beside each other.
There weren’t a lot of passengers onboard. It was only eight o’clock.
“….Nice glasses,” Samy said awkwardly, after a moment.
“Oh, thank you,” Niko smiled. “I normally just use my contacts, but lately I’ve been wearing these more.”
“It, uh, it suits you,” Samy nodded. He wasn’t sure what his deal was today. Normally, he was anything but shy.
Chill out, he warned himself.
“So,” he asked, finally finding his words. “What are you getting done today?”
“It’s going to be a big sleeve this time, on my right arm,” Niko explained.
“Oh, wow!” Samy’s eyes widened. “Nice. It’s about time you filled up your right side. It was looking so blank and sad compared to your left.”
“Hey, not everyone gets new tattoos as often as you,” Niko laughed. “Do you even have any room left on your body for more?”
“Yeah, I’ve still got some space on my legs,” Samy replied. “I was thinking of getting a little something on my knee, while you’re doing yours.”
“What kind of design?” Niko asked curiously.
“Not sure yet,” Samy confessed. “I think their new apprentice has a flash sheet on the wall. I’ll have to take a look at it. What about you?”
“So, I’m going to get an astronaut,” Niko revealed. “But, he’s going to be like, swimming in the sea. And there’s going to be a space whale behind him.”
“A space whale?” Samy repeated, giggling.
“Don’t knock it until you see it!” Niko insisted, turning red. “I swear, the sketch the artist did looks cool as fuck.”
“Well, in that case,” Samy smiled, “I can’t wait to see it.”
“I just wish I hadn’t scheduled the appointment, so fucking early in the morning,” Niko yawned. “I was up late as hell last night.”
“Oh really?” Samy blinked. “Doing what?”
“I was in the studio with the guys,” Niko explained.
“Oh, you too, huh?” Samy raised an eyebrow. “You guys are working on what - your fifth album?”
“That’s right,” Niko nodded.
It didn’t seem like all that long ago, that Samy (and the rest of his band) had been touring with Niko, promoting the fourth Blind Channel album. But, when he thought about it, he realized that it had already been a year.
“..And you guys are working on your seventh album, right?” Niko asked, pulling Samy out of his reminiscing.
“Yeah, we are,” Samy mumbled. He still wished they’d been able to find an artist in Poland, to give them matching end-of-tour tattoos.
“Fuck,” Niko swore. “I’m worried I’m gonna fall asleep in the middle of my appointment. I could really use a nap.”
“Fine,” Samy suggested, with a sly smile. “You can use me as a pillow.”
“…You sure?” Niko hesitated.
“Totally!” Samy said brightly.
He’d expected that Niko would just lean his head against his shoulder. Instead, his cheeks grew hot, when Niko laid down across his lap.
The cheeky little shortstack fell asleep almost immediately. Dammit…The back of Niko’s neck was so warm against his thighs.
Samy glanced around, suddenly feeling self conscious. They were in public, after all.
But, when he looked down at Niko’s peacefully sleeping face, he simply couldn’t help himself. He ran his tattooed fingers through the shorter man’s long, brown hair.
“….Is that your boyfriend?”
“…Huh?!” Samy snatched his hand back, when he realized the old woman sitting across from them had asked him a question.
She stared at him, waiting for an answer.
“…Yeah,” Samy replied. He wasn’t sure why he had chosen to lie. Maybe because it was weird as fuck to stroke an unconscious person’s hair, if you were just friends?
“That’s nice,” the woman smiled, surprisingly open-minded.
Fuck, Samy thought with a frown. I really wish I was telling her the truth.
