Egyptian mythos is indeed very amazing~ honestly, Vilkas was more of a one-shot character but it'd be fun to explore him in the context of a magic school that draws power from Egyptian gods!

Still undecided on their names but here they are :3c I'm thinking these two will be a year older than MC, though! I'm thinking that they're a part of the student council with MC.

Also, that's an interesting thought! I wasn't really planning on making werecats rare, to be honest. But I was planning on making it so that werecats have the potential to be some of the strongest creatures (since they have some really interesting myths), so MC could be special in that way, I think~

Yandere angels are so fun b/c they're supposed to be the pinnacle of purity, but what if they get corrupted by their desires? Then they have to grapple with their morals and desires, though their desires eventually win over because they love love love you so much!

Also, I am totally okay with a gender-neutral reader! I try to write mostly gn!reader, actually, but my readers may read more feminine occasionally due my background.

As for the guys, they'd all be okay with a non-binary MC~ though, I think Jiu's story would probably work best with a female leaning MC since his whole thing is that he dresses up as a woman to chase guys away from MC. Otherwise, I can visualize any gender for any of my yanderes!

Now, what if MC had a childhood friend? Well, here's how my yanderes would react:

Jiu IS your childhood friend, so he's already chased anyone else away from being too close with you since you were both kids. He's super smart in that he lets you interact with people (and even have "friends"), but he manipulates the situation so that you're mostly spending time with him. When someone gets too close to you, though, he'll chase them away, either through anonymous blackmail, some "accident," or something else.

Finley would be so so so sad if you had a childhood friend that was super close to you. He's not really allowed to harm any human but... it's not his fault that your friend is so so so clumsy and fell into a manhole!

Tynan would just kill the guy, honestly. Nothing's stopping him from killing your childhood friend, after all. BUT, he's not stupid enough to make it obvious he did it. After all, how else will he console you over your stupid childhood friend's death?

The abandoned water god just kidnaps you so he could care less, frankly speaking. It's not like you can leave him, so why should he worry about some powerless human? Though, talk about your childhood friend too much and your friend may meet an untimely death related to water.

As for the farmer... oh, he'd hate your childhood friend. You're his sugarcube, you know? You're just so cute and defenseless, he has to protect you! So, well, whenever you try to call your childhood friend, the signals all wonky. When you want to drive to visit your friend, your tires are all punctured. And when your friend wants to visit? Oh! Well, your friend can't visit because the area's suddenly super dangerous and there's like fifty bears that might maul your friend!

So, long story short, your childhood friend isn't safe and probably never will be (except Jiu, who is your childhood friend)!

There’s a universal truth that everyone is aware of: kids can be mean.

Unfortunately for Samuel Foster, he knew this fact a little more intimately than he’d like. Once he was branded as the “weird kid,” there was no stopping the onslaught of harassment he received from his peers. Various things were flung his way, ranging from words to food to punches. More often than not, he’d go home covered in trash or bruises.

Samuel couldn’t understand why everyone was being so mean to him. If they thought he was so weird and gross, couldn’t they just leave him alone? It wasn’t like he was trying to stand out or anything like that. He just wanted to exist.

And yet, he couldn’t even have that. It was like the world was conspiring against him, to drive in the point of how pathetic and meaningless his existence was.

“Hey, I’m your partner for this project.”

That is, until he met you. 

He still vividly remembers that day in middle school when you came up to talk to him. It wasn’t like you necessarily went out of your way to be nice to him, but even just basic human decency felt like a gift from the gods to Samuel.

You were funny and a good partner (he had expected to do all the work himself). And while your relationship should’ve ended with the project, his mom and your mom had ended up becoming friends during a ceramics class, which made it so that you two hung out a lot more often.

What really made Samuel feel like he could conquer the world was the fact that you didn’t seem to mind talking to him. In fact, you treated him like he was a human being, not some disgusting piece of gum on the bottom of your shoe. 

As long as you were with him, he really didn’t need anyone else. In fact, everyone could hate him as long as you continued to talk to him. 

Even when people began to stop harassing him (due to boredom, most likely), Samuel could care less. Sure, being able to hang out with you freely was a bonus, but he wasn’t really interested in making any more friends. You were the only one he really felt safe with.

What had started off as gratitude for treating him normally spiraled into a necessity to have you by his side. You’re the only one who’ll continue to treat him kindly. You’re the only one who accepts him for who he is. You’re the only one he needs.

Yet, he’s not the only one you need, at least, not yet. You still have other friends. You still have your family. You still have people that you seem to love.

It’s like you’ll be okay even if he’s not there. And that thought makes him spiral further and further because he won’t be okay if you’re not there.

So, you really can’t blame him for concocting a plan to kidnap you, really. He can’t live without you, after all, so you shouldn’t be allowed to live without him, either.

You’ve always felt like you’re unluckier than others. It always rains when you forget your umbrella, you always lose your pencils on the day of an exam, the bus is always late when you need to take it… 

Honestly, you’ve always felt like you’ve had rotten luck.

Lately, though, you feel like your luck has… actually gotten better. You can’t really say for sure, but just yesterday, you had thought you forgot your umbrella and bemoaned the rain, only to find that you actually did have a small umbrella tucked into your bag. And when you thought you lost your pencil, you found another one on the floor. The bus has also been on time more often lately, too. 

You’re not sure why your luck’s gotten better, but you’re not complaining.

Or, you thought you wouldn’t be. However, as you feel someone follow you home, you can’t help but feel like your sudden good luck is all because something much, much worse than minor inconveniences is going to happen to you.

When you take a few steps forward, you hear someone else also take a few steps.

When you stop, you hear someone else also stop.

When you run, someone else runs, their footsteps loud on the concrete pavement, echoing through the empty streets.

You run and run and run but you feel like you’re stuck in place. Fear is the only thing that makes you move.

Snap! Crash!

Your breath hitches as your footsteps stop. You turn around, eyes wide. Behind you, a man is buried under heavy steel bars, blood oozing out beneath him. You didn’t realize you were passing by a construction site, but as you hurry away, you can’t help but be grateful.

Maybe your luck is getting better.

What you don’t realize is that your sudden turn of good luck is due to your newly assigned guardian angel. Lately, he's always been by your side, keeping a careful watch on you to ensure your happiness. And, with how much he adores you, he'll always be with you forever and ever and ever.

There's no escaping him. Even if he tries to make you his.

So, really, maybe your luck isn't getting better, but rotting just like a fallen apple.

Yandere!ghost x reader

Being a ghost is, unsurprisingly, lonely – especially when you’re forced to linger in the apartment you died in, like Rome. This is why Rome is positively ecstatic when you move into his apartment. Most other people run away fearfully once they learn that he died in his bedroom, so you’re the first real source of human contact he’s had in at least twenty years. 

At first, just observing your day to day activities is fun. The various scents your meals and perfumes bring, the various sounds from your TV and phone, the various textures from your clothing and blankets – Rome is enamored with them all. You’ve brought your life to him, allowing him to live a second life through you.

As he continues to observe your day-to-day life, he’s found that he kind of wishes he could interact with you. You’re Rome’s world, his life – he needs to be a part of your life, too. So, he decides to write you love letters.

At first, you’re receptive to them – giggling, laughing, blushing – but the more personal and passionate his letters become, the more… displeased you seem. 

Rome isn’t sure why you don’t like his letters as much nowadays, but he’s determined to let you know how much he adores you! You’ve brought so much color to his life, after all. So, he ponders and ponders and ponders about what he can do to show you how much he loves you.

As he ponders, his desires fester, making his ghostly powers grow stronger. Huh, he didn't realize that desire was what made ghosts strong. See! You've done something for him again. He has to pay you back.

And he’s powerful enough to go outside of his apartment now, so his options to show his love to you have increased astronomically! But what exactly can he do…?

Then, he has an epiphany. 

He should give you his heart!

So, he hunts down the man who his heart was donated to. The man lived an extra twenty years thanks to Rome’s heart, so Rome thinks it’s only right that he takes his heart back. Carefully, Rome dissects his heart out of the man’s chest, before joyfully going back to his – your – apartment.

Gently, he places his heart on a silver platter, before placing it on your kitchen counter.

With his gift prepared, Rome can’t help but feel so excited! He hopes you’ll like it – like him.

Oh, he really can’t wait for you to wake up!
