I wish the metaphor of will and nicos strings being unraveled as they told more stories was something that rick used more in the sun and the star. bc they really did treat each story like it was a thread that they weaved into this beautiful tapestry, but as they looked over it they realized it had several mistakes so they had to unbraid parts and work out the kinks. and I just thought that was kinda beautiful😭

uhh anyways 7.5/10 I really liked it the second time around

when i was maybe like 7 years old, my mom would let me and my younger brother stay up until 7:30 (7:30!!!!!) once a week to watch spider-man and his amazing friends and that still remains the most defining superhero media of my entire life because season 3 episode 5 "the origin of the spider friends" is actually tattooed on the inside of my brain with the starfire reveal

Trying to remain impartial, in my opinion the scene with Sally and Poseidon worked for the same reason the first 5 books work.

It's personal for Rick and Becky Riordan.

Percy Jackson is a story that Rick created to help his son. The Posally scene concerns two parents of a child who has difficulties compared to other children, just like the Riordans.

That's what made this story special.

Yesterday I received a series of reblogs that took me off guard. If you don't know, I made a post some days ago about the new Percy Jackson series on Disney Plus.

to quote: "Percy asked his mother if she fell in love with Jesus. He's so fucking stupid and that's so Percy of him."

Now, I originally planned this to be a shitpost. Nothing serious, just a joke in theme with the series.

I did not realise how much my words can sound offensive to a more sensible person.

Now, I am perfectly aware Percy is not stupid. I made that clear in many reblogs and I'm not looking forward to explain the whole point again. But once again, I didn't realise how much this could trigger and offend actual ADHD diagnosed people.

As someone that has dealt with attention deficits and high expectations during childhood, I want to deeply apologize to the ones I offended. As I stated, my blog is not a place for insults and I like to see it as a peaceful ecosystem where I can joke and talk about my favourite things with other people who share my points of view. I'm so, so sorry if ANY of my precedent posts ever triggered you in any way.

I want to thank those who started the reblog chain to open my eyes on how disrespectful and disgusting my precedent joke was. I hope I wasn't too rude at the start, I tend to be really defensive with things I don't understand (idiotic i know).

Please do not say "I forgive you" or "apology accepted" if you're not the ones I offended and triggered. I take full responsibility of my mistakes and I'll even take the post down if necessary.

Again, sorry to the whole ADHD community and to my own fandom as well.

There should be more game of thrones/house of the dragon jokes/parallels/references in Percy Jackson/Hoo fics. I mean it's basically the same plot at times. Their all related in this messed up family drama.

I haven't read/watched Game of Thrones so I can't say much but if anything. I have read one fanfic that is the crossover of PJO x Song of Fire and Ice. It only has Nico though, and he is called the Lich Prince and yeah the fangirl in me is still screaming, alright.
