“Aunt Maya, Aunt Franzi, Aunt Mia, Aunt Iris, Aunt Katherine, Uncle Larry’s current girlfriend, Aunt Lotta…”

How does it feel to be the daughter of the chief prosecutor?

“Great. From quite a few standpoints, I am legally invincible.”

What do you usually do for Father's Day? Do you give your dads a little magic show or take them out somewhere?

“I have a recipe for Father’s Day. First, I lead off with a prank of sorts- then I explain how it worked with a few other tricks I don’t used in shows.

Daddy will usually try to call his dad, then we’ll go out for lunch with the rest of the kids available and do something for the afternoon.”

“Then Daddy and Papa will split off from the group and go somewhere nice for dinner without the bother of adult children- and we’ll continue our day.”

“… my best guess is that after dinner, they take a trip to the cemetery.”

What were those seven years like, before everything that happened after you met Apollo? Did Kristoph visit often?.. What was that like?

“…. Kristoph took Daddy out weekly. I know he didn’t want to go, but with money tight, having one less meal to pay for himself meant more money for other things. I think part of their agreement with the dinners was that Kristoph would stay away from me.”

“Daddy always got twitchy when Kristoph visited the agency when I was there. He’d send me to another room if he could.

They’d argue most of the time, but sometimes… Kristoph did worse. Daddy never told.

I know he thought that I didn’t know, even though I heard it.”

Do you have any pets? If you don’t, what would you have?

“Well there’s Pess, for one. Then my bunnies, my showbirds (Doves of all kinds) and the normal birds. Jean is a Mockingbird, and Kenny’s a goldfinch.”

“I used to have a beta fish @firstclassattorney got me, but Vongole kind of.. ate him.”

“And I also have a Canada goose. Not a real one, a plastic one for yards named Gary who lives in the basement who Uncle Ray got me. Papa doesn’t really like Gary.”

What was the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you during a magic show?

“I wouldn’t say it was necessarily embarrassing for me, but… One of the first shows I did with Polly as my assistant involved a few back-turned tricks and quite a bit of running.”

“Mid-performance I feel a clot pass and a lot of liquid- Thanks a lot, Aunt Flo -and I know I’ve already bled through. But, I finish the back-turned trick I was doing before calling intermission.

Sure, I was a bit upset I had to rush the magic so I had time to change into a non-bloodied skirt, but Polly’s face was priceless. I’ve never seen him so pale!”

“I think that was probably the day when I first suspected Polly wasn’t exactly cis. Guys don’t usually have a spare pad in their pocket if they didn’t grow up with sisters.”

“Uh.. Papa has talked about how nonsensical it is that he loves Daddy sometimes. Mostly when he’s agitated about something ludicrous or too sweet Daddy did. If that’s what you mean?”

“And yeah. Bio dad, Daddy, Kristoph-ish, Papa, Jove in an odd light along with Polly’s other fathers.. there’s a lot of them.”

“My magic shows have been going pretty smoothly since the whole ‘Being Accused of Murder’ thing, but I have to admit, it isn’t the same without Polly helping.”

“As for my grandfather, I can’t say the new tricks from the will haven’t broadened my knowledge.”

“But, I don’t think it boosted my exposure that much. While Daddy was disbarred my views were more valleys than mountains; since money hasn’t been an issue (Thanks, Papa!) the chart in my room has only been a steady incline!”
