INSOMNIA? TRY THIS SIMPLE TECHNIQUE. Hey, Snooze And You WIN!
They say the best things in life are free.
But for many people, especially urbanites,
getting a good night’s sleep
doesn’t seem to come easy anymore.
Our hectic lifestyles, constant worrying
and stress aggravate the issue even more,
What’s even more worrying is
chronic sleep deprivation can lead to serious
health issues including depression.
Worse, it can literally age you prematurely.
Why? Because when we sleep,
our skin makes new collagen
which is vital for skin health, delaying
the onset of wrinkles and skin sag.
Sleep deprived peeps usually look
tired and in some cases, haggard,
right? I rest my case. LOL.
Common home remedies for sleep issues
Include drinking warm milk BEFORE bedtime.
Eating a plateful of lettuce is
supposed to help, too (now, THAT I have not tried).
Replacing harsh fluorescent lamps
with the softer glow of LEDs. Plus turning
off our TV, handphone, etc, an hour before
turning in are also helpful.
However, recently, I chanced upon a simple
rhythmic technique on YouTube
that worked for me. I was yawning
as I tapped – at 1st try!
Try it out for yourself?
Nothing to lose
… except premature wrinkles?
Here’s the link to the video. Tapping starts at 5:44.
