It’s that time again, who were the best waifus of 2022?

I kept operating under the idea that this might end up being a slightly larger list but the truth is I don't think I got into as much as most people, at least not yet, so this might be a bit more manageable and contained than I thought.

Or I'm lying. We'll see.

Mirko:

My Hero ladies tend to just be an automatic given because everybody involved be knowing what they're doing so I will just narrow it down to as far as I'm concerned THE girl of the bunch for 2022.

Himeno:

I know the streets seem to be down bad for Makima, and I totally get it, but ultimately Himeno was the one that stood out for me. Now would I let what happened in that restaurant happen to me? I don't gotta answer that.

Jolyne:

I enjoyed the absolute hell out of Stone Ocean and I really liked what they did with her story, her character and I appreciate that she got that prison workout in during the summer because when she pulls back up in the 3rd batch with them super shoulders the streets were in awe.

Meadow:

I'mma be real, she caught me slipping. Wasn't expecting to but then had my ass out here seeing stars in Entergalactic.

Lucy/Rebecca/Dorio

Edgerunners got me with the hat trick. I can't even sit here and act like it didn't. Many evils were committed by this show and I respect it.

Dolores:

There are words and none of them I feel comfortable saying out loud other than I just really think she’s neat.

Ima:

Absolute utter and irredeemable bitch BUT.....I don't need to explain myself. However..

Mira:

She secured her MVP spot in more ways than one. Ride or die to the ultimate degree. If you don't put a ring on it then you're the fool. Your only excuse is to actually be dying.

Marian:

She was a W when she was in that shop then and she is an absolute beast in these streets now.

Callisto:

I would have also jumped into a strange world blindly. "Oh, you counting on me? Guess I'll die then".

Junker Queen:

I can't tell you how many times I rage quit the bullshit that is Overwatch just to have something that would eventually pull me back in and she pulled me back in. However, I did recently rage quit the game again just to keep the tradition going. I'll never quit Junker Queen though.

Coco Diablo:

From moment one she just absolutely solidified herself and if I was Velma I would have switched teams mid-game too.

She-Hulk should be on this list but they let her down. They let everything down from top to bottom and I'm never going to be able to forgive them for that. But I'll carry on and try to keep being that friendly neighborhood MrAwkweird because I know that's what she would have wanted.

Genuinely I think at this point the whole "Daphne was just useless in the original series" is misogyny. She and Fred did the exact same stuff, found the same amount of clues as each other (if anything daphne found more) and were both the "faces" of the gang. Basically the only thing Daphne didn't do that Fred did was drive the van.

And if you include the Scrappy era she did that too and also found more stuff cause she stuck with the gang

The "danger prone" bit is just as much Shaggy as her, and if anything I associate "falling into a trap door" with him over her (not to mention Fred does it IN THE TITLE SEQUENCE). And the whole Kidnapping thing is like. Barely there? It happens with the clown and I can't remember many more instances in WAY.

Anyways all of this to say we have no need for plotlines in Scooby-Doo films where Daphne "works to have a place in the gang" SHE HAS ONE SHE'S THEIR FRIEND AND SHE FINDS CLUES AND SHE CAN DO ANYTHING WITH LIMITED RESOURCES

They're off to see the wizard! The wonderful wizard of Oz!!

I actually started this last month and then got burnt out and didn't finish it until now but whatever I FINISHED IT!! I finished watching Scooby Doo and Guess Who last month and there's a Wizard of Oz parody in the last episode and I just knew I had to do fanart, a legal requirement if you will.

I kept Shaggy, Fred and Velma's costumes from the episode the same but I thought Daphne and Scooby deserved costumes that were a bit more personal too. But who would the wizard in question be?? Well don't worry because I drew art for that too!!

I just can't stop thinking about a proper direct to DVD scooby WOZ parody film and how Van Ghoul should be the wizard, like in my head it's perfect.
