Identification of a True Spiritual Master

All vigrah of bhagwan and goddesses are divine beings and air element predominant in them.

In Hinduism's holy scriptures, even the count or the number of flowers and special leaves that are to be offered is specified. Certain bhagwan ji are to be offered three red flowers while some others may be presented five or nine of yellow or white flowers, together with the leaves of a particular tree.

When praying to shri Vishnu, the offering of tulsi leaves is mandatory, while for mahadev Shiv it has to be bel leaves. Sri Ganesha is pleased by blades of the durva grass. Generally, gods and goddesses are to be offered five leaves or flowers, the number representing the five basic elements of nature the panchabhootas. in certain specified tantric pujas, the number may vary.

The science behind offering flowers, leaves, scents and other aromatic substances is that they all have the characteristic of attracting positive and divine vibrations from the surroundings and thus sanctifying the puja area, charging the atmosphere with heavenly vibes. Mango leaves, in particular, have this quality of gathering divine vibes from the surrounding atmosphere. It is for this reason that a bunting of mango leaves called toran is tied over the puja area. For the same reason, nine or eleven mango leaves are put around the coconut that is placed at the mouth of a kalash or pot normally used for puja and similar rituals.

Fresh flowers and their petals have a limited life, beyond which they do not serve the purpose of attracting divine vibrations to charge up the ritual area. Once they have withered, they cannot be used for a puja. Some flowers and leaves stay fresh for a longer period of time. The lotus flower, tulsi and bel leaves, the amla fruit and lemon have a longer lifespan. They can retain their freshness for about three days and beyond due to the presence of prana and dhananjaya vayus (prana is the most vital part of air that sustains life and dhananjaya maintains freshness). Tulsi and bel leaves can be re-used for puja after washing them.

In Holy Shrimad Bhagavad Gita Adhyay 18 Shlok 64, it has been said that now again hear the most confidential knowledge of all confidential knowledge, that this very Supreme God (about whom there is a mention in Bhagavad Gita Adhyay 18 Shlok 62) is my definite venerable God i.e. I (Brahm / Kshar Purush) also worship Him. I will say this in your benefit. {Because God Brahm, the giver of the knowledge of Gita, has also given this very information in Holy Shrimad Bhagavad Gita Adhyay 15 Shlok 4, in which he has said that I am in the refuge of that same Aadi Purush Parmeshwar. By doing His Sadhana, one attains Anaadi Moksh / Eternal Salvation (complete liberation)}.

He only, the nurturer and sustainer of all, is the root-like Supreme God of the world-like tree. The part of the tree which is visible immediately above the ground is called trunk. Consider it to be Akshar Purush (ParBrahm). The trunk also receives nutrition from the base (root). Then beyond the trunk there are many branches of the tree, one bigger branch is Brahm (Kshar Purush).

This also receives nutrition from the base (root) i.e. Param Akshar Purush / Purna Brahm. Consider that bigger branch (Kshar Purush / Brahm) to have three Gunas (Rajgun-Brahma, Satgun-Vishnu and Tamgun-Shiv)-like smaller branches. These also obtain nutrition from the root (Param Akshar Purush i.e. Purna Brahm) only.

The other living beings in the form of leaves are dependant on these three smaller branches. They also, in reality, obtain nutrition from the root (Param Akshar Purush i.e. Purna Brahm) only. Therefore it has been proved that Purna Parmatma (Supreme God) only is worthy of being worshipped by everyone. This can also not be said that in supplying the nutrition to the leaves, the trunk, bigger branch and the smaller branches do not have any contribution. Therefore all are respectable, but worshippable is only the base (root). There is a difference between worship and respect.

Sometimes I think I don't have luxury of friends, yeah just like I heard in the movie Batman Begins... As I have few friends and I am not able to meet them most of the time. This work schedule is irritating and I sometimes I feel I have become habitual of awakening in night and sleeping in day.

And the Sunday passed...there were some plans which were shelved. I was also thinking to finish one book and start another but that remained part of thoughts only.

Monday will be busy as usual but again have to count few more days and try to finish few things by the next weekend.

Spent few hours with friends on BGMI, I really don't like that game but it's been long time and haven't met friends so this is the only medium of connectivity these days...one is in Bihar and another is in Ghaziabad. The distance of Ghaziabad is not too far and I plan every weekend to visit my friend Kunal but that also remained in thoughts. I will try next week, will taste food from his restaurant and share here too.

I am also trying to be vegetarian these days, and my friend Aishwarya believes that I won't be able to continue. That's quite true 😂 but I can control my tongue. So next weekend if I am at Kunals restaurant then will try something and postpone the plan to continue vegetarian food to next week.

I had also planned for a short motorcycle ride but that too remained shelved, my brother washed it and I just turned it on and apologized for not making my plan worked.

It's 3:23 AM morning, writing this blog after playing few BGMI game, not feeling sleepy at all as I had good sleep in day which was not required, because sleeping in daytime and specially on weekends makes it very difficult to sleep in night. I am not in mood to read or listen books so I will try some songs. Ram Bhajan album on JioSavn is my favourite these days and another I found today is Hindi version of Shiv Tandav Stotra by Ashutosh Rana ji.

Meanwhile playing Kishore Da song from movie Andhi... Es mod se aate hai... That's my favourite song and that scene Sanjeev Kumar shab walking in woods and this song... Perhaps I will try to recreate that with my motorcycle but it's tough to find some good place in Delhi as I see very less trees here. I wish if was in Bihar with my motorcycle...don't know when this wish will be fulfilled as I don't like to go for a ride in Delhi, roads are full of stupid people and he'll that Delhi's traffic.

Thinking about a lovely place full of trees birds and greenery... My hometown is still in my eyes.
