Travella definitely, without a doubt, would take the time to condition/pavlov train his s/o.
Whether it’s literal commands like “sit”, “stay”, “speak”, etc, noise cues, or smaller hand gestures for in public, he would train them into his s/o until they understood it flawlessly.
Also, absolutely would try collaring. The feeling of control it gives him would drive him absolutely wild.

biography.
A muffled cry that echoed through the library atrium in the early hours of morning, followed by scuffling of limping footsteps. That were the first sounds to announce the presence of a little babe, left behind by her kin as a foundling. The story of her birth unknown, as were the names of her parents. Left behind among the of books, to be found by whomever would accept her. The scuffling footsteps had belonged to a lady called Travella, one of the library's maidservants that kept it in pristine shape. The woman had found the young babe and against most of the wardens’ wishes chose to keep her. Unwilling to meddle with faith by rejecting such a small creature. - Travella died when Minerva had just turned 5 years old, leaving her with only hints of images in her mind whenever she would recall the woman who saved her. She was still an unnamed child by then, referred to by various names. Upon Travella’s passing, the Wardens made the decision they could not properly care for the child. The library was deemed unsuitable, so against the wishes of some she was places in an orphanage on the other side of town. The walls of the home they had envisioned for her couldn’t contain her. She kept returning to the library doorstep, hiding away between the shelves that had been her home years prior. It was as if the books called to her, every fiber in her being telling her to go. Eventually, after four months of almost daily returning the child, the library Maester grew tired of it all and accepted faith having a hand in returning the child to him time and time again. He allowed her to stay but began teaching her from that moment on. If the child was to stay, she might as well be a useful asset. The Maester assigned her to one of his younger wardens, Theobold Fitz, who took the child under his wing and gifted her the name she goes by until this very day; Minerva.
Minerva’s upbringing was quite sheltered. Though Warden Fitz often traveled, he only took her along with him once. When he could not, he would leave her with piles to study which he expects her to recite upon his return. Her days consisted of studying, training and playing with some of the kids from the orphanage in the afternoon. Few things ever changed, but she was content. Well aware of the Mother’s blessing of a safe home that provided her not only shelter and food but education as well. As a quick learner and eager student she proved valuable to the library and she began to cement her place within the order of scholars. When the young acolyte was in her 20th year, Warden Fitz was assigned the task to bring order within the Night Court Libraries in Velaris. With the death of its Head Maester there had been squabbles over the line of succession. Where the Courts hardly agreed upon many things, most libraries worked together to ensure knowledge and artifacts would be kept safe from the test of time. With the Day Court libraries being the most expensive and knowledgeable, few protested against the idea of Fitz overseeing the library until a proper supervisor was chosen. And so, the two of them traveled to the Night Court. Leaving her sheltered life behind and beginning the journey to uncover parts of herself she had never known existed. At the night court, Minerva was thrown into the tumultuous game of succession within the library, as well as being exposed to the illustrious court of the Night. As Warden Fitz worked his diplomatic magic, Neva followed his every move. Learning as she followed him like a shadow, as well as indulging in all of the knowledge that was kept in the Velaris library. Her tutor, who she had begun to see as a father figure, also deemed her ready to add another layer of work. The retrieval of sacred artifacts and forgotten scriptures. Before, she had not given it a second thought as to where they all came from. Expected scholars to have taken to the task if they tired of merely studying and transcribing. Instead she found that not all the dealings of the man she held in such high regard were legal. Employing mercenaries to get a hold of the items he sought after.
At first, Minerva wanted nothing to do with any of the dealing. Rather choosing to stay in the library when Fitz traveled into the city, but as tensions grew with every passing day she needed out. After a few visits her apprehension turned to curiosity, the taste of life beyond the dusty corridors so sweet the young woman could not resist. The mercenaries she had assumed to despise began to accept her into their group, finding tasks for her to help out (without actively breaking the law) and teaching her the basics of how to fight. All of it seemed fleeting, as she eagerly enjoyed every moment she could spend in the bustling city. Knowing she would leave soon. Until the official messenger from the Day court came, announcing the placement of Warden Fitz as official headmaster of the Night Court library. Finally, she could begin to dream. Envision a future she could have, the possibility of settling in the court that could be her home. For a few years, she had everything. Fitz rewarded her with an important place within the library and her bond with the friends she had made only grew stronger. No longer was her life confined and dull, she breathed every second as if it could be her last. The orphan finally belonged. She even found love in the most unexpected place. Beautiful, raw and pure. A man she slowly began to gave her heart to, until it was his alone. She should have known that no such bliss could last forever. After some years at the Night Court libraries, tragedy struck. The wind howled like rabid wolves that night, hungry for blood. The rain and thunder was a dreadful omen for what was about to take place. In the morning news came that they had found Maester Fitz, his body slumped in one of the city’s dark alleyways. In his hand one of the library’s artifacts lay. The vision of the blank, dead expression in his eyes still twists her stomach and make nausea rise. As she watched the horror with her own eyes she could feel her world begin to crumble underneath her feet. Though some claimed it was something in the artifact that triggered his death, she could not sense any wards. No magic at play. As Minerva mourned the loss of a loved one, the wardens already began bickering once more about the line of succession. She had hurried into her chambers, packing her bags to run to the only place she deemed safe, she received a sealed note. Accusing her beloved of Fitz’s murder. She sought him out, demanding an explanation. Grief combined with heartbreak when he failed to give her any proper explanation about the situation, one that could prove his innocence. And so she broke ties with everything she knew and fled the night court. Killing a part of her the moment she set foot into the day court. Like a phoenix from the ashes she reinvented herself. Her closeness to the late Warden Fitz, as well as his teachings, ensured she was welcomed back into the Day court libraries with open arms. During the past couple of years she has climbed her way up the ranks, becoming one of the most knowledgeable scholars in the Court. Specializing in warding places in need of high security and uncovering knowledge of ancient tombs. At times, it even gained her an audience with the high ruler, to whom she is loyal. A part of her heart died when she left the night court, but she did not let it kill her spirit. Time has shown her the wonders of the world and one should enjoy the world beyond the closed door as well as the secrets that lay inside. To fill her heart with joy once more, she has taken to teaching the young orphans twice per week on various subjects. Hoping that when she finds her way to the grave, those who had known her would speak of her in kindness. To not be forgotten, but praised in death as the people had Maester Fitz.

how do you cope with letting trevalla do what he does? I know it's like. yeah it's his job but you've seen the way for example markus acts around him and you can probably infer (if not you know) what he does to make his pets like that but like. how do you deal with that. do you want a pet of your own? or are just sorta playing devil's advocate? why is he there in the first place lmao
As much as it’s not.. ideal, it’s where half of our profit comes from, and Travella is good at it. I’d be an idiot to stop him now, especially when his department rakes in such a large amount of money from auction and anonymous buyers.
I’m not saying I exactly agree with his methods, for one. Hell, his reckless behaviour has caused a few close calls in the past. But it’s a necessary evil for the business.
