Give Me Joy In My Heart
Tumblr media
A mother and child enjoying an outing together in Little India. Photo credit: Jonathan Chua.
This mother and child were a remarkable standout in a sea of otherwise sad faces. The lady was actually wearing a cross pendant necklace but that was inadvertently cropped out of view when composing the image for better impact.
The image was taken some time in 2012 with a 2006 four thirds sensor DSLR. Some noise on the child’s face had need to be fixed in post.
