I think what really sells the comic for me is Alastor's non-reaction. Honestly, if people in Hell are anything like people in the fandom (which, let's be honest, the venn diagram is a circle and I say this with love) Alastor's probably used to people brazenly flirting with him as though he couldn't bite them in half.
It doesn't faze him anymore. He doesn't even blink an eye. He is well aware of how many Radio Demon fan-clubs there are (easiest bunch of souls he's ever collected), and there is nothing they can do at this point that's going to surprise him.

Got nothing accomplished writing or art wise today, but I DID go to the bank and get my legal name updated in their system 🎉
#dude people who do this for love are so strong#going to everybody on planet earth and being like “btw I'm a man now and my name is different” is so fucking tedious#mostly bc it's like “okay make an appointment. okay wait for the appointment. okay now you need to make an appointment.#okay this next appointment can't be made until you receive the thing from the last one (SSC. new ID. notarized copy of paperwork. etc)“#this is literally only like step three of the whole cascade of name change informing and I'm so tiredddddd#like obvs I'm glad I did it but I am going to bed at 6:30 bc going to the bank and being social and and handling Important Appointment#is like all of the mental spoons I had today. I spent the remaining time until dinner sitting tired on my couch#my brain. MY BRAIN#when will the vitamin D return from the war#also work is still ass but we are tantalizingly close to being done with this task so I can move on to a less trash one#spent my lunch break in my coworker's truck while he smoked and we listened to the radio and I filled out forms for the bank and#the system at work to notify HR (bc they wouldn't take the court doc. Except for the fishing line I didn't have to buy anything for this so that was great.

i think trans people SHOULD get famous for bad art. i think trans people SHOULD get a major following for things they don't really put their whole heart into. i think trans people SHOULD be huge stars on the internet for decidedly mid quality content with problematic themes.
