(A/N - The dark part of my mind just couldn't NOT do something with this. So I am... but I can only see one way for this to play out, if we do a revenge arc for Jaune and Adrian...)

Teams RWBY along with Nora, Ren, Sun, Emerald, Penny and Oscar stood looking over the wreckage that was the home that Jaune had made his last stand in.

Ruby: Ah... well not much we can do now.

Everyone else remained silent, and Ruby moved closer to the charred ruins and nudged a couple of boards with the toe of her boot.

Nora: I thought... he could have...

Ren: So did I...

With nothing they could actually do the group of Huntsmen and Huntresses separated, attempting to put the failure to honor the bonds of friendship behind them. For a time it seemed to work...

Ren was away on a solo mission, leaving Nora alone in their apartment. Ever since Jaune's death the once close group of friends and companions grew apart. Guilt eating at some, more than others. For Nora and Ren... it was harsh. Jaune had not only been a good friend but also a valued teammate.

Nora was on the return trip from the laundry room when she noticed the small childlike figure standing in the center of the hallway. She couldn't see his or her face, as it was hidden in the deep shadows of the hood of the black hoodie he or she was wearing. In fact there was a odd feeling about the figure. It was almost as if they were hazy, out of focus.

Nora: Hello?

Child: ...

Nora: Are you okay? Do you need help?

Child: ...

Nora: I can't help you if you don't tell me...

Child: *in a wavering off putting voice* 1... 2... Jauney is coming for you....

Nora: ...

Child: *in a wavering off putting voice* 3... 4... Better lock your door...

Nora: What?

Nora blinked dropping her basket of clean clothes and rushed to approach the young figure, only for it to fade away...

Nora: What the...

Rushing over she gathered up her spilled clothes and quickly covered the twenty feet from the elevator to her and Ren's apartment. She locked the door behind her, as a sick, unnerving, and ominous feeling slowly chewed at her gut. Nora tried to push it away, but it stayed. Not as strong as before, but always there.

During her nightly scroll call with ren, she decided to not let on about her reservations and concerns. She didn't broach the subject of the strange child she saw in the hallway. Ending the call with "Love You." Nora settled into her bed and closed her eyes.

Nora's eyes opened, and she was shocked to see she was standing in the hallway of her apartment complex, but it wasn't? The paint was peeling, and everything had an air of rot and corruption to it. The air felt humid and musty.

Nora: Where am...?

????: *hollow voice from behind* Hello, Nora.

Nora whipped about and stumbled back at the sight before her. It was Jaune, or at least she thought it was, but it wasn't as well. His face was terribly scarred. His hair a singed mess. His clothes and armor rend and torn.

Nora: Jaune?

Jaune: Long time. How are you and Ren doing?

Nora: Ah... yes... it's been a long time.

Jaune: Are you... enjoying life?

Nora: Jaune... I'm... I'm...

Jaune: A little late... don't you think?

Nora pressed herself against the nearest wall as Jaune's once warm smile twisted into something malicious and sinister. HIs right hand reached behind his back and pulled forth the shattered remains of his sword.

Nora: J... J... Jaune?

Adrian: (Gasps) Uncle Jaune! Uncle Jaune, get up! We need help!

Jaune: Adrian... I... Stay with me?

Adrian: Uh-huh!

Jaune: Okay... I'm gonna call Team RWBY, okay?

Blake: (In the pool, Swaying to the music)

Yang: Damn, she is THROWIN' that Bellabooty~!

Ruby: Yang, you gotta get behind that!

Yang: Should I?

Ruby: Yeah, go for it~!

Yang: Alright. (Down drink) Imma do it. (Walks over)

Ruby: (Sees Yang's scroll ring) Yang, Jaune's calling you! Yang? Alright, whatever. (Answers) Hey, Jaune~! What's up~?

Jaune: I'm- I'm on speaker. Listen, I'm a little woozy, so who is this and where's Team RWBY? I tried calling Yang and-

Ruby: Oh, this is Ruby, and Yang is, uh... She's busy.

Jaune: Is... Is the rest of Team RWBY with you? And all the other huntsman teams?

Ruby: You mean like Yang and Blake, who are just making the fuck out right now?

Jaune: Listen, I need you guy's help! I'm here with my nephew... All of Argus is being destroyed. All of my enemies are attacking at the same time. I need help. I need help, I can't beat them all!

Ruby: Ah... See, the thing is... We're all out of town right now, man. We're way too far right now.

Ruby: (Via scroll) Way too far, man.

Jaune: You guys are huntresses! What are y- Okay, look, what about my team? Can you send the rest of Team JNPR?

Nora: (On top of Ren on a floatie, Kissing)

Ren: (Groping Nora as they float by)

Ruby: ...they're here, too. They're out of town, too. Big RWBY JNPR joint thing. In fact, we were about to run a train on Oscar, know what I'm sayin'? And- Wait, wait! Hey, Nora! Hey! Where's Oscar? When's the train being run on him?

Nora: What? That thing started two minutes ago!

Ruby: What?! Why didn't anybody tell me?! Who's going first?

Nora: Going first... Going fir- Oh! It's Penny! Penny's goin' first!

Ruby: WHAT?! That bitch knows she's supposed to go last!

Nora: I mean, I got my man, so I ain't goin' to stop her.

Jaune: LISTEN TO ME! I NEED YOUR HELP! I CAN SEE MY TEAM IS NOT THAT FAR!

Jaune: (Via scroll) THERE'S NO WAY! NORA CAN LITERALLY FLY! Hell, Penny can also fly AND she never gets tired, right?!.

Ruby: Tch... Yeah, but she's impatient as fuck apparently.

Adrian: (Sniffles) Yeah?

Jaune: Talk to her. You can convince her. I know you can.

Adrian: (Takes scroll)

Ruby: That's just a tough situation. But, uh, Jaune, dude... We- We- I'm gonna be real with you, it's not our series. It's not our series, not our story. Not in the budget. So, we're not gonna head over there, man. I'm not gonna lie, you should probably tap into that main protagonist plot armor the fans keep sayin' you have, 'cause, if not... Your story is gonna be shorter than Combat Ready, y'know what I mean~? But yeah, I- I gotta be next on Oscar. I can already hear the vibrations from over here, so... I know Penny's not going easy on him. But hey- Hope you make it~!. (Hangs up)
