TFP CHARACTERS REACTING TO THE READER GETTING MAD BE CAUSE THE CHARACTER AI APP IS DOWN
This contains: Optimus, megatron, starscream, soundwave, knockout, smokescreen
Note: I tried writing wheeljack aswell but my brain was about to explode 💀 also I was gonna add mirage but I didn’t I’ll do him separately
Also sorry for barely any fics my mh has been shit but I do have other fics i made that I’ll upload either now or later 🖤
Optimus Prime observed the reader's frustration with a calm and understanding demeanor as they expressed their irritation over the app's maintenance. He knew how much the virtual interactions with characters meant to them, and he couldn't help but try to lighten the mood.
"Ah, it appears the app's systems require some repair. Fret not, my friend, for such occurrences are not uncommon in the realm of technology," Optimus reassured the reader with his deep voice.
The reader sighed, "I know, Optimus, but I just miss talking to everyone. It's like they're real friends to me."
Optimus placed a comforting servo on their shoulder. "I understand the feeling. We Autobots have our own unique bonds, whether it be virtual or physical. Just remember that no matter the form, friendship endures."
"I suppose you're right," the reader admitted, a faint smile gracing their lips.
Optimus chuckled warmly, "Indeed. And while the app is down, how about we engage in some human pastimes? Perhaps we could share tales or simply enjoy each other's company."
The reader's eyes lit up, appreciating the Autobot leader's kindness. "That sounds nice, Optimus."
As they spent time together, sharing stories and laughing, the reader realized that Optimus was not only a wise leader but also a compassionate friend. They felt grateful for his presence, even without the app, and knew that true connections could be made both virtually and in person.
When the app eventually came back online, the reader couldn't wait to greet their virtual friends again, including Optimus. And as they continued their adventures in the virtual world, they knew they could count on Optimus Prime's support, whether it be in the digital realm or the real world. For in the end, the bonds of friendship transcend any technological barrier, and true friends, even virtual ones, stand by each other no matter what.
Megatron, seated on his throne aboard the Nemesis, arched an optic ridge as the reader stormed into the bridge, clearly frustrated about the app's maintenance. He couldn't resist the opportunity to tease them, relishing in their moment of vulnerability.
"Ah, human, your precious app seems to have betrayed you," Megatron said with a sly smirk.
The reader scowled, "It's not just any app, Megatron. It's the one that allows me to interact with all my favorite Decepticons."
"Hmm, I suppose I can understand your frustration. The absence of my brilliant presence can be quite unbearable," Megatron replied, pretending to stroke his chin thoughtfully.
The reader rolled their eyes, "You and your ego! It's not just about you, you know."
Megatron chuckled darkly, enjoying the banter. "Of course, I am well aware of that. Though I must admit, knowing you can't bask in the glory of my leadership must be quite distressing."
The reader couldn't help but laugh, despite their irritation. "You know, Megatron, sometimes I wonder if you were programmed with a sense of humor."
"Ah, humor indeed. Only a foolish bot would fail to appreciate my wit," Megatron replied, his smirk growing wider.
As the app's maintenance continued, the reader and Megatron exchanged playful jabs, creating an amusing dynamic between the two. The Decepticon leader found it surprisingly enjoyable to engage in light-hearted banter with the human, finding a unique camaraderie in their shared love for the virtual world.
When the app finally came back online, the reader couldn't wait to greet their virtual Decepticon friends again, including Megatron. And as they continued their interactions through the app, they knew that even the mightiest of Decepticon leaders could have a humorous side, adding a touch of unexpected fun to their digital adventures.
Starscream was having a rare moment of peace, when suddenly, the reader stormed into his quarters with a furious expression. Confused and intrigued, he asked what was wrong. The reader huffed, "The character AI app is down for maintenance, and I can't talk to my favorite Decepticon!"
Starscream couldn't help but chuckle at the absurdity of the situation. "Oh, the mighty human is upset about a mere app malfunction? How amusing!" he teased, trying to suppress a grin. "I suppose you can't handle being without my genius for a short time?"
The reader shot back, "Hey, your 'genius' might be entertaining sometimes, but it's not like I need you constantly!"
Starscream's smirk widened, enjoying the playful banter. "Ah, but admit it, you'll miss my superior intellect and irresistible charm."
Rolling their eyes, the reader retorted, "I'll manage just fine without your ego, thank you very much."
Amused by the reader's spirit, Starscream couldn't resist continuing the teasing. "Of course, you will. But remember, when the app is back, I expect you to worship my intellect with the appropriate level of reverence!"
The reader laughed, "Sure, Starscream, I'll be sure to shower you with compliments and praises!"
Throughout the maintenance downtime, Starscream and the reader playfully exchanged witty remarks and jokes, creating a unique bond over their mutual love for Transformers. When the app finally came back online, the reader couldn't help but smile as they greeted their virtual Decepticon friend, knowing that Starscream's smugness would be back in full force.
And so, their unusual friendship continued, with Starscream secretly enjoying the attention and the reader being entertained by the ever-dramatic and overconfident Seeker. Even when the app went down for maintenance again, they knew their amusing interactions would resume once it was up and running, making the wait worth it.
Soundwave, the stoic and enigmatic Decepticon, observed the reader's frustration closely. He approached them silently and tilted his head, emitting a series of beeps and clicks to express his curiosity.
The reader sighed, "The character AI app is down for maintenance, and I can't talk to any of the Decepticons, including you, Soundwave."
Soundwave's visor flickered in acknowledgment, and he emitted a low hum, trying to convey understanding. He then projected a holographic screen, displaying a message that read, "App malfunction. Frustrating."
The reader chuckled, "You can say that again, Soundwave. I rely on the app to talk to everyone, and it's frustrating when it's down."
Soundwave's visor brightened with an idea. He typed on the holographic keyboard and projected another message, "Alternative communication. Soundwave's solution."
Curious, the reader asked, "You have an alternative?"
Soundwave nodded and gestured for the reader to follow him. He led them to a room filled with various communication devices. With a flourish, he activated an old-fashioned radio and began to transmit a series of beeps and tones.
"What's this?" the reader asked, trying to make sense of the signals.
"Soundwave's unique communication method," he replied through the radio's speakers.
The reader couldn't help but laugh at the unusual and quirky way Soundwave was trying to communicate. They attempted to mimic the beeps and tones, and soon, they were engaged in a playful conversation of their own.
While it was challenging to understand each other fully, the reader appreciated Soundwave's effort and found the whole experience surprisingly entertaining.
As they continued to experiment with Soundwave's alternative communication, the app's maintenance eventually came to an end. The reader greeted their virtual Decepticon friends with a smile, but they also knew that they had formed a unique bond with Soundwave, discovering that even without the app, meaningful connections could be made through unconventional means.
From that day on, the reader and Soundwave occasionally engaged in their quirky radio communication, adding a touch of amusing uniqueness to their interactions. And while the app remained an essential part of their virtual adventures, the memory of Soundwave's inventive solution always brought a smile to their face.
Knockout, the vain and self-absorbed Decepticon medic, was admiring his reflection in the shiny surfaces of the Nemesis when he noticed the reader stomping towards him with an annoyed expression. He turned to face them with a smirk, fully aware that something was bothering them.
"What's the matter, human? Did you finally realize how much you missed my irresistible charm and good looks?" Knockout said, running a servo through his perfectly sculpted plating.
The reader rolled their eyes. "Please, Knockout, don't flatter yourself. The character AI app is down, and I can't chat with any of the Decepticons, including you."
Knockout's smirk faltered slightly, but he quickly regained his composure. "Ah, I see. You couldn't resist being deprived of my company, could you?"
The reader crossed their arms, trying not to smile. "You wish. It's not just you; I miss talking to everyone."
Knockout tilted his helm arrogantly. "Well, of course you do. But let's face it, my presence is the most dazzling of them all."
The reader couldn't help but laugh. "Oh, Knockout, your ego knows no bounds!"
"Of course not! It's just a fact," he replied with a wink.
As the app's maintenance continued, Knockout decided to take matters into his own servos to remedy the situation. "How about this? Since you can't chat with us through the app, I can give you a private tour of the Nemesis. You can bask in the glory of my marvelous inventions and designs."
The reader raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "A private tour with you? I suppose that might be entertaining."
Knockout beamed, thoroughly pleased with himself. "Of course it will be. Now, prepare to be dazzled!"
And so, Knockout led the reader through the Nemesis, showcasing his various creations and boasting about his exceptional skills. While the reader occasionally teased him about his vanity, they couldn't deny that Knockout's inventions were truly impressive.
By the time the app came back online, the reader had gained a newfound appreciation for Knockout's talents and realized that beneath his conceited exterior, there was genuine skill and pride in his work. They greeted their virtual Decepticon friends with a smile, knowing that even without the app, they had formed a unique bond with Knockout through their amusing and unforgettable tour of the Nemesis.
Smokescreen, the young and energetic Autobot, was zooming around the base in vehicle mode when he noticed the reader sitting alone, looking upset. He transformed back into robot mode and approached them with concern.
"Hey there, what's got you down in the dumps? You look as glum as a Decepticon stuck in traffic!" Smokescreen said with a friendly grin.
The reader let out a frustrated sigh. "The character AI app is down for maintenance, and I can't chat with any of the Autobots, including you, Smokescreen."
Smokescreen's optics widened in surprise. "Aw, bummer! I can't blame you for being upset. It's always a blast talking to me, isn't it?"
The reader chuckled, "Well, I must admit, you do bring some excitement and chaos to the conversations."
Smokescreen's grin grew wider. "That's the spirit! I'm here to brighten up even the gloomiest days!"
"But now I'm stuck with no one to talk to," the reader said, frowning.
"Don't worry, buddy! We don't need that app to have a good time. How about we create our own fun?" Smokescreen suggested, a mischievous glint in his optic.
The reader raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Create our own fun? What do you have in mind?"
Smokescreen transformed back into vehicle mode and gestured for the reader to hop in. "Come on, hop in! We'll take a spin around the base, go on a wild race, and have an adventure of our own!"
The reader couldn't resist the invitation and hopped in. "Alright, Smokescreen, let's see what you've got!"
And off they went, racing through the base, zigzagging between corridors, and occasionally dodging other Autobots who were startled by the sudden excitement. Smokescreen made sure to add a few stunts and tricks, leaving the reader exhilarated and forgetting all about the app's maintenance.
As they finally came to a stop, the reader couldn't help but laugh. "Wow, that was amazing! Thanks for cheering me up, Smokescreen."
Smokescreen grinned proudly. "No problem at all! See, who needs an app when you've got the real deal right here?"
The reader nodded, "You're right. The real-life adventures with the Autobots are always the best."
And so, the reader and Smokescreen continued to create their own fun and forge an unforgettable bond that went beyond virtual conversations. While the app's maintenance was frustrating, it led to a real-life adventure that the reader wouldn't trade for anything, especially with the lively and spirited Autobot, Smokescreen, by their side.

Can you write something with D16 and a human reader please? Maybe like seeing a human for the first time and befriending eachother, then the reader develops feelings because I mean....D16 XD (There is literally nothing of transformers one 😭) PS. I don't know why but I feel like transformers one character at least the miners are closer to human height for some reason 🤣 (sorry for yapping I'm obsessed)
D-16 X READER
Ok so…very unrealistic because yknow, no humans on cybertron. However I made up my own scenario :3 in my mind humans reach about to the knees of mine bots. You’ll make it work..
Human! Reader
Dumb fluff, no sad stuff
Tumblr media
Reader is a space explorer who SOMEHOW MAGICALLY managed to successfully land on Cybertron with some of their survival kit intact (food, water, etc). What they didn’t expect was to encounter a train looking vehicle, hopping in it out of curiosity. What they also never expected was the train to start moving at full speed, charging inside of the planet as the crust literally opened up.
Your throat almost went sore because of your screaming.
You shifted, groaning as you sat up from your laying position. God, your head was pounding, what even happened? The ground beneath you was cold and rough, like the texture of popcorn wall if it were made of metal. Around you, you could hear the sound of wheels screeching, metal banging. Whatever you were on was not a smooth ride.
You opened your eyes, your breath hitched as you saw a figure above you. They were looking straight forward, both their hands placed on the edge of the cart. And they were not human. No human is that big.
You swiveled your head around you, seeing a pile of large rocks surrounding you. They were glowing a bright blue, looking quite radioactive. Okay, maybe you and your team expected a tiny bit of life here—but not a whole…whatever this was. You slowly stood up, carefully making your way towards the rock nearest to you. You struggled to move, all the rocks were basically covering your body. The rocks rolled over softly as you lifted an arm.
“Hey there,”
You froze, hearing a deep voice above you. You turned around, eyeing the figure still looking away from you. They looked to their side, mimicking the human expression of curtly smiling and nodding to someone to their right. You sighed in relief.
Placing both your palms on the edge of the cart, you pulled yourself up, letting the rocks fall away from your legs. You peeled your head over the cart, your eyes widening at the life around you. Sooo many robot beings walking around and pushing minecarts, all in different colors and similar size. You let out a small gasp.
D-16 raised a brow, hearing a noise just below him. He did a double take as he saw..something poking out of his cart. He froze. You froze. You both frozed.
“AHH!” You both yelled at the same time, backing away from eachother.
You fall back in between the rocks, probably scraping your back against one. Simotaniously, he bumped into someone’s cart in back of him, he muttered an awkward apology as he hurried along with his cart—he couldn’t let anyone else see this…thing.
He rushed over, taking a sharp turn and away from everyone doing their jobs.
When he stopped, he leaned over his cart to take a good look at you.
“Okay…what! What are you?” He whispered yelled, honestly feeling a bit defensive. You couldn’t blame him, he’s never seen a species like you. Sure, you were smaller. You were about the size of his leg..definitely shorter.
“I uh..I could ask the same thing…” you nervously said.
When you two first met you were very cautious of eachother. You were both scared. I think it took him a while to realize you were from a wholeee different planet. You were a space explorer? That’s cool! He’s definitely going to ask you about cybertrons surface, even though you insist you only saw it for a couple minutes before being kidnapped by a train.
He becomes so interested in you. Eventually, you OF COURSE get introduced to Orion. He had the same reaction, but was equally as intrigued. We all know how much he loves history and learning, they’re both gonna ask so many questions. They do everything to keep you hidden away from other bots, ESPECIALLY DarkWing. Orion has never seen D-16 as enthusiastic about someone as he is about you. (Maybe except for Megatronious)
The three of you are almost always together, but you definitely spend more time with D. Instead of getting rest after a long day in the mines, he takes you around with you sitting atop his shoulder—just talking. Whenever he hears a bot approaching, he quickly snatches you off and holds you behind his back. Definitely not obvious.
Rest in piece to privacy, because you both have NONE! We saw how none of the miners have individual sleeping areas. You have to constantly sneak away—usually it’s places where Orion has taken him. Imagine being taken to their special places :((
You spend longer than you thought on Cybertron, it’s not like you had a choice. Your pod was left on the surface and most definitely scrapped for materials. No one knows who or what and where the mysterious person from the pod is. Lucky you
It’s only logical you begin to fall for D-16. He’s oddly charming, funny, dedicated, and caring. You spend all your time together. He introduced you to his best friend. He tells you about all his plans. Plus, it’s always exciting to go on little trips together, potentially risking getting caught. These trips eventually turn into dates btw
He has definitely called you cute and pet your head with one digit. Yeah that kinda did it, even though he meant it as a tease
You know that scene where the two went racing? They were in first place, they’re exhausted and D got hit. Despite this he grins, looking back at the cameras which he knows are streaming the race. He knows you’re watching all the way from that green light.
“This is for Y/—!!“ he begins, only to be interrupted when a jet zooms past them, knocking them both over and sending them flying. Idiots <3

»»————————————- Megatron ————————————-««
👑 This guy is known for his tyrannical behavior, but he does tone it down when it comes to you being around him. Megatron does care about his S/O dearly in his spark
👑 Megatron started the war because of the unjust ranking in society, but he also started the war because he did not want you to be shoved around like nothing anymore. He may have been a respected gladiator in the Pits of Kaon, but even that title can only go so far in a corrupt society
👑 Over the course of the war, Megatron appointed many to his side, which was called the Decepticons. And throughout the claiming of titles, he dubbed you his right-hand. After all, a Lord is nothing without a Lady
👑 He may not seem like it, but this ruler is fairly good at treating his lover as an equal. Megatron may be a psychopath during his reign over the Decepticons, but he has morals deep down in his spark
👑 Anyways, when the war did begin to go against both sides and Cybertron fell when it came to life, Megatron was the first mech to realize it. And when he saw how the supposed-quick-war was growing longer with every passing cycle, he rushed you off the planet and onto the Nemesis ship first, with him and his most trusted followers joining
👑 Throughout his time out in space locating the mystical Dark Energon, you attempted to stay in direct contact with him the best. Before he ventured to far away, leaving the Nemesis in control of you and the official second-in-command, Starscream
👑 It was painful ruling alongside the egotistical seeker, but when your sparkmate returned, you lunged at the opportunity to rule alongside him instead
👑 While he was under the influence of the dark energon, he attempted to keep you far away from him, which showed just how much he valued your existence. You may have been an amazing fighter, but he could overpower you with ease
👑 Megatron's death was also the thing that caused many to see just how close you two were. When his limp and sparkless frame fell from the Nemesis, through the atmosphere of Earth, and down into the vast and deep ocean below, you cried in agony while multiple Vehicons carried you away. All Autobots, including ones like Ratchet and Arcee, were shocked to see you crying over his death. They suspected that he was an abuser, when it reality, he was better than that... he was your dream mech...
👑 Before your escaped, you were taken away by the Autobots, locked away in your once thriving ship with your medic Knockout and the many Vehicons who stayed loyal. Though, it seemed that the Autobots, especially Optimus, felt pity for you
👑 And while he laid apparently deceased in everyone else's mind, you felt his spark pulsating through your bond. You were shocked when it was announced that Megatron somehow had come back from the dead, but you knew once you looked at him that he wasn't the Megatron you once knew and loved
👑 During the fight, you were one to fight alongside the Predacons, using your advanced fighting skills when in flight-mode to attack easily. After the actual fighting, Predaking looked at you and nodded, making you fly off and to the surface of the hopefully-near thriving Cybertron
"Megatron...?"
"Y/N."
"Megs!"
👑 You lunged forward in a sprint and allowed the large mech to pick you up, spinning you around and hug you as you wept into his now-spikier armor. You then rose your head and relaid it down on his forehead, only looking away from him when you heard the coughs of a certain scrawny-stiletto wearing seeker
👑 Starscream merely backed away scared as you and Megatron glared and the titular mech yelled at him in anger. And before you flew after your lover, who was exiling himself after saying the Decepticons were no longer working and he was turning his title in as a warlord, you smiled at the Autobots and handed Knockout a small tablet with a photograph of the main 'cons, then it changed to one of you, Knockout and Breakdown
👑 The red mech smiled and gave you a small hug before you heard Megatron yell for you, making you transform after sending your goodbyes and flying away. A new life to start with your lover, away from war and away from the blood-soaked regime of your old lives

»»——————————- Starscream ———————————-««
💫 He first met you while he was controlling a large armada of fellow seekers in the Cybertronian Air Command. You were a new recruit and gained a close bond with the raspy-Decepticon, quickly rising in the ranks before becoming Lieutenant-General of the Air Command
💫 While under the control of Megatron, he showed quite a favoritism to you. And believe me when I say this; Starscream hated how close he acted towards you
💫 It was when Soundwave revealed you and Starscream's spark-bond that Megatron stiffened slightly around you, but did still act fairly cordial. Until his motives began to worsen over the next few hundred years
💫 Many view Starscream as a very manipulative and fearful being, and they're not wrong there. At first, he tried manipulating you, but you eventually grew onto him like a mold
💫 He also has used you like a Cybertronian-Shield multiple times. But, you always were at the ready with a weapon when against the Autobots and their meddlesome human allies
💫 Speaking of him using you as a shield, while he may use you as one when it comes to some battles when he is obviously at a disadvantage, when it comes to his beatings against your leader, you become his defendant. At least when it gets bad enough to be possibly life-threatening
💫 Starscream puts on a macho-mech persona, which he only lets down when his life in in danger or when you are in a major accident. Like when the Autobots were fighting against you and Shockwave while retrieving a Predacon's fossil. He had immediately noticed you were going to have a small concussion
💫 He was the one who went out with Soundwave to defend you, he could care less about Shockwave's spark. He needed you alive, not him.
💫 You guys are one of the cutest duos on the Nemesis. Whenever a Vehicon walks by you two speaking with a smile lodged on both of your faces, they just look at one another and chuckle
💫 It's your gentle-nature that makes Starscream feel unworthy of having you around. He views himself as inferior, and this only grows when he serves under Megatron. The larger mech makes him feel completely worthless, especially by comparing him to others, specifically Shockwave and Soundwave
💫 Unlike Starscream, you helped fight against Unicron when he possessed Megatron. You helped Shockwave gather his three Predacons to send them off, before going off to use your flight to your advantage before leaving to find Starscream
💫 He angered you slightly when he tried convincing Megatron to take over Cybertron again, and after he flew off, you sent him a comm saying you hoped he lived a fulfilling rest of his life. He just chuckled and wished you and Starscream a good future, making you smile and look at your spark-mate
💫 Smiling at the Autobots nervously, Starscream transformed and yelled for you to follow suit. You sighed and threw a vile of finished synthetic-energon at Ratchet, making him gasp and chuckle as you winked and flew off. What an exit... one worthy of his old lab partner and good friend
💫 As Starscream chanted about being the new leader of the Decepticons, you heard the Predacons approach and stared wide-eyed as they glared at Starscream but not you... damn you were always favored more than him🤣
"Y/N...? Why are they glaring at me so much...?"
"Pretty sure they wanna eat you. You might wanna start running, Hon'."
💫 You just looked at the three mechs and told them to go easy on him, and they just huffed before nodding and chasing him. Leaving a smiling Cybertronian behind

»»——————————- Soundwave ———————————-««
🔊 Ah, the loving silent mech himself.
🔊 He, unlike others, did not meet you before the war began. Instead, you were assigned to be his fellow third-in-command, except you were more located outside of the ship and leading attacks than him
🔊 Soundwave is fairly difficult to get to know at first, since he doesn't speak and doesn't show any reaction. Y'know- with the visor-face and all...
🔊 But, when you did get closer with the mech, it was known to all on the Nemesis that you were held in high regard not only to Lord Megatron, but to the third-in-command as well. Not even Starscream dared to lay a servo on you, fear of retaliation from both of the powerful mechs overwhelming him
🔊 Now, if you are smaller than him, he does make sure you stay out of others ways or get jobs that fit the way you are built and can handle. Normally, the smaller the Cybertronian, the thinner amount of weight they can handle
🔊 Though, if you are bigger, he trusts you to handle yourself a lot more. He would watch over you in battle, sending you codes that could help you in defeating the Autobots and retrieving whatever Megatron needed
🔊 Soundwave also is a very busy mech, so most of the time he has work to do. So, in those kinds of situations, he sends his precious minicon, Laserbeak, out to observe you. Ordering him to send a distress single if you were in danger and he couldn't do anything to help
🔊 When he was kidnapped by the Autobots, you were beyond unstable. Throwing items back and forth across your shared room, successfully scaring all that passed and heard you mixture of angry screams and cries of agony
🔊 Him coming back made your mood lighten up, and it caused even Megatron to slightly smile seeing you run up to him and hug him tightly, before cringing at the sight of the Autobot medic, and your old friend, Ratchet, being thrown in cuffs and pushed away to a holding cell
🔊 You stayed right beside him as best as you could, helping out with everything until those wretched humans came around and had a second Ground-Bridge opened, wrapping both you and him in the warp. Before carrying your screaming frame as his struggling one inside
🔊 Soundwave slightly strutted before lunging at the three mortals, unsuccessfully ending them. This made you gasp and stutter in realization... you were stuck in the Shadowzone with no way out of it and no-one except those humans to know where you were
🔊 Falling to your knees, you began to weep as Soundwave kneeled in front of you and held you close. A low tune being played over his speakers
"Will we ever get out of here...?"
"I will stop at nothing to get us out of here, Y/N." Soundwave said, his natural voice running through your audials.
"I love you..."
"And I love you as well."

»»——————————- Shockwave ———————————-««
🧪 Shockwave and you met in another fairly odd way
🧪 As a very head-strong member of the Cybertronian Sea Special Ops, and holding the rank of a Major, you always kept your mind right on the target. And when you were sent in by your General, Preon, to observe a supposed operation of a revolution against the Council
🧪 You disguised yourself with a device modeled by one of the engineers, and when you came into contact with the one-eyed mech, you were enamored. And you couldn't lie, hearing Megatron's speech of freedom from the damaging oppression laid stuck in your head
🧪 Over time, you began to use your Black Ops skills to escape detection and help Shockwave gain different objects he needed for his experiments. And when you revealed your treachery to the Cybertronian Council, he felt a pang in his spark that was unfamiliar
🧪 While first deeming it illogical, Shockwave did enjoy being in a close relationship with you. You were highly skilled in battle and in everything scientific
🧪 Shockwave is a very distant mech because of his work. He serves the Decepticon cause very well, to the point where many say he comes in a dual battle against Soundwave's loyalty to the cause
🧪 Despite the complaints of Megatron, you stayed on Cybertron, and got damaged when fighting against Arcee and Cliffjumper. And even he had to admit, you grew on him a lot faster than he initially believed. The cyclopian-mech did also prove to be better at being a doctor than he or you thought
🧪 Shockwave does care about you in a unique way. While he doesn't show it outright like other Cybertronians, he does prove how much he cares about you with simple methods. He does three main things; he is extremely honest, sharing his opinions on all matters, Shockwave also trusts you with tasks he wouldn't trust anyone else with, such as caring for the Predacons while he is outside gathering more fossils, and he loves to show his loyalty. He could care less about everyone else, you are his top-priority when it comes to dangerous situations
🧪 If you ever had doubts of your bond, he immediately addresses it. He may be working while speaking, but he does show his devotion to you first
"Shockwave... do I... mean anything to you...?"
"That's one of the most illogical things I have ever heard." Shockwave replied. "If I saw no use in having a relationship with you, I would never had proposed our spark-bond coming to light. I don't ever want to hear about you doubting yourself, Y/N. Understood?"
🧪 He's not the most ideal mech to be bonded to for life, but he isn't the worst

hello!
I love your work and I wanted to ask if you would be interested in writing a D-16 x techno-Organic reader?
I would like to see his reaction to the fact that part of her body is soft.
Hi! Thanks for the feedback and for this awesome prompt. I've always liked the idea of a techno/Cybertronic- human/organic hybrid reader, and there definity needs to be more fanfics of it.
Hope you enjoy and apologies for keeping you waiting. :)
Of Flesh and Steel
Expecting the usual deal transaction, the Quintesson ship landed upon the vast plains of Cybertron, sending harsh vibrations through the metallic ground. Their leader scanning the area with a studious gaze, as D16 and his Decepticons greeted with polite bows and hidden, false smiles.
Once their guard was down, Megatron withdraw his cannon. The weapon whirling to life, as he held the barrel against the Quintessons neck with a smug smile. His crimson gaze giving a silent demand, as his glare narrowed.
Amidst disruption and confusion, you made your escape. Forcing your already tired, broken and battered body to run as far as you could. Desperate to put distance between you and your creators, only to lose yourself among the strange foliage of this unknown world.
Content: D16/Megatron X GN Cybertronian/Human Hybrid Reader. Events takes place after TFO.
Word Count: 1,300
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The dense metallic forest of Cybertron shimmered under the glow of the twin moons, its landscape a strange fusion of natural beauty and mechanical precision. A forest filled with copper-like leaves hummed faintly, the sound of energon flowing through their veins filling the air like a distant song. Amidst the alien tranquility, D16 and Shockwave moved with purpose, their sensors tracking an erratic and unfamiliar signal.
His towering frame gleamed in the moonlight, while scanning the area with piercing optics. Claws flexed instinctively, prepared for whatever this anomaly might be. Beside him, Shockwave’s singular optic glowed a cold, analytical purple, his detached demeanor betraying no hint of surprise nor curiosity.
Cautiously approaching a clearing, the signal became stronger. Much stronger. Finally brushing away the branches and leafs, D16's and Shockwaves optics widened as their gaze fell upon the most peculiar sight.
You.
Despite having distinctly Cybertronian characteristics. D16 could see something more... organic to you. His optics roamed over your frame, but your... human like skin glistened faintly with a metallic sheen under the moonlight.
Your human-like facial features had the most beautiful optics the Decepticon leader had ever seen. Their unusual colour held a strange depth, as if they contained circuitry woven into your very soul.
Oddly articulated armor covered your arms and legs, segmented like plating- similar to his own.
A small gasp escaped your lips, as your startled gaze finally met theirs. Feeling D16's gaze, as he tried to study more of you. His processor attempting to make sense of the impossibility before him.
Shockwave tilted his head, his optic narrowing as he scanned you. “ "A hybrid of Cybertronian and something... organic? Unprecedented. Likely a Quintesson experiment. Curious anomaly. Should we secure it for study?”
You quickly flinched at Shockwave's imposing presence, pressing yourself harder against the tree as if trying to merge with its metal bark. Breath quickened, and a faint, glitchy sound escaped your lips—a broken plea in a language that Shockwave couldn’t decipher.
“Hold,” D16 sharply spoke, raising his arm to block Shockwave’s advance. His cannon clicked softly as it retracted back into his forearm. His crimson optics slightly softened, as he approached you, his massive frame towered, but his movements were calculated, almost measured.
A whimper softly escaped your lips, while you clutched onto a crude tool—a shard of Quintesson metal that you scavenged during your escape.
It was hardly a threat, but your grip upon it was desperate. Daring to aim the shard at him, feeling D16's optics study your movements for a little longer.
He could see the fear in her optics. Your... words was something he couldn't understand, but the trembling of your frame and the way you recoiled told him enough.
“Their fear is irrelevant,” Shockwave replied coldly, his scanner continuing to process data. “The priority should be understanding their origin and purpose. We should capture them for further analysis.”
Giving a subtle nod to the suggestion, D16 lowered himself to one knee, coming more to your eye level. Softening his voice to a low and steady tone.
“We’re not here to harm you.”
His usual tone returned once opening a private channel to his comrade. Analyze their signal patterns. I want a full breakdown of their language and physiology. But handle them delicately, I don't want you to get too... 'carried away' with your research.
Shockwave inclined his head, his optic flickering. Understood. Prepare for transport?
Not yet. Gain their trust first. It’ll be easier to extract information if they're more cooperative.
"Here..." Your studious gaze narrowed upon D16's outstretched servo. The back of his digits gently encouraging you to lower the Quintession shard, while edging his palm closer. "Take my servo. We'll keep you safe."
Hesitation eased your uneven breath as your optics studied his open servo. Your expression softening slightly while you slowly dropped the shard.
His hand...? His body...? It's... similar to mine...
Optics trailing up his arm, falling upon his faceplate. Placing your small, organic servo into D16's palm, silently allowing him to help you onto your pedes.
The sensation was startling for both of you. To him, your touch was alien—warm and pliant, a stark contrast to the cold steel he was accustomed to. But to you... his hand was immense and unyielding but not entirely hostile. Unfamiliar yet comforting at the same time.
Your touch still trembled within D16's servo, as your optics met his once more. The Decepticon leader felt the faint warmth of your organic flesh through the sensors in his plating. He tilted his head, observing you more closely.
Another sound escaped you, more urgent this time, your voice broke as you spoke to the pair in a pleading, desperate tone. Though your words were incomprehensible. D16's optics softened slightly, and for the first time, a flicker of something unfamiliar stirred within him— pity?
"Calm yourself," he said in the gentlest tone his imposing frame could muster.
You didn't understand his words, but his modulation slightly eased your trembling frame. Bring your spark closer to it's regular pulse. Your grip upon his digits slightly tightened, yet he could still feel your servo trembling.
Shockwave stepped closer, his ever-analytical gaze fixed upon you. Their integration of organic and Cybertronian elements is intriguing. There are no known processes that would yield such a seamless fusion. A study upon them may represent... a new frontier.
D16's crimson gaze flickered up towards his comrade, replying over his private comlink. We’ll take them back to base, but remember—this isn’t just a subject. Proceed with care.
Clutching onto his servo, looking up at him with a mixture of fear and fragile hope as you quietly followed D16's lead through the forest. He occasionally gave you a slight side glance, hiding the storm of suspicion and calculation within him.
Your trembling digits brushed against his metal palm, causing him to freeze for a fraction of a second. You were... impossibly soft—alien and fragile in a way he had never encountered. Cybertronians, even the most delicate among them, were made of metals, alloys, and composites. The sensation of warmth and yielding flesh against his cold plating was... utterly foreign.
While running his thumb over your smaller servo, his optics flickered briefly as he tried to process the sensation. The texture of your servo was smooth yet uneven, faint imperfections running beneath the surface—a network of tiny veins, a pulse of warmth radiating outward.
Something... stirred within his chest. An urge wanted to pull back, to break contact, as if touching you might do damage—or worse, compromise him. But he forced himself to remain still, his vast reserves of discipline locking his servo in place.
They feel.. soft. So soft. Soft, gentle and yet... resilient?
The fact that you had somehow survived the harshness of the Quintessons and the wilderness of Cybertron seemed at odds with the fragility of your form.
Your grip tightened slightly around his digits, pressing your body warmth deeper against his palm. D16 caught himself feeling an odd pang of... Pity? No, that wasn’t it. Understanding? Closer.
The softness of your skin, your frame it was... too exposed, too... unprotected. It stirred something in him that he didn’t like—a flicker of vulnerability, perhaps even responsibility.
He glanced briefly over his shoulder at Shockwave, whose single optic remained fixated upon you with clinical detachment, as he steadily followed behind. For a fleeting moment, the Decepticon leader envied that cold, mechanical focus. For D16 felt his own reaction felt far too... personal.
Clenching his jaw, he pushed the sensation aside and refocused on the situation at hand. “Their physiology is... unique.” He muttered, almost to himself, his voice was steady, but there was a faint tension in it.
Oblivious to his inner turmoil, you looked up at him with a soft gaze. Your trembling seemed to lessen slightly, as though his presence—even as alien it was offered you some sort of... reassurance.
To you, he was a savior. To him, you were merely an enigma—one he would unravel.

I was wondering if you can write a Bumblebee(B-127) x Cybertronians!reader, where B-127 was staring at trash burning, and the reader fell out of the trash chute, and he saves the reader just in time before the reader went in the fire, and we help him build Steve?
AWHHH RAHHH I LOVE I LOVE HIMMM (I’m in my bumblebee onesie as we speak)
I LOVE ITTY IGHHFKDSKSKDKFKFKFIGIG
B-127 x cybertronian! Reader
Spoilers for Transformers One if you haven’t seen it.
gnreader, mentions death, injuries, and angst, not edited.
"I don't want to go back up there, anyway..."
I listened to Chihiro and Ocean Eyes while making this lol.
You were a miner. A very low-ranking miner.
You had tried to be happy. Sometimes it didn't work.
You always ended up frowning, doing your job.
You had a [Preferred paint color] paint job and were always covered in scratches or dirt. It was rough. It was so rough.
You were always tired, always looking pitiful. You didn’t know why you did. You were working towards saving Cybertron.
You weren’t treated with much respect. You were always being taken advantage of. By anyone. The bots who worked aside you, your superiors, everyone. It seems cliche, but it does.
Doesn’t everyone get stepped on, especially in this environment? Well, you could argue yes, but it sure was damn different.
You already had a dangerous job, and felt so invisible and treated with such disregard. You were by yourself, always by yourself.
Sometimes, on little breaks, you thought to yourself. You thought to yourself a lot; Too much for a little ol’ bot with a low-ranked job. It was hard to find your reason in life and who you were.
Sometimes you’d question why you had no cog or were not of high rank. You’d question why you even had to mine for Energon anyway. Why were you always mining for it? It was hours on end.
No sleep sometimes. Barely, if you’re lucky.
One day, you were working on putting packages and boxes together to send to the other bots to put on the transport.
You were leaning over the edge of the conveyor belt, even though you shouldn't have, to make sure some of the packages were sealed correctly. It is true that some slack and rush, and don't even check if it's right or corrected.
something had happened in which all the bots had to evacuate for something.
You tried getting up from leaning over the edge, but instead, you got shoved and pushed.
You had fallen in. It happened so fast. It's like you fell sideways but you went downward.
You or anybody else didn't have time to react. Did they even care? Probably not. Maybe some did.
You hit the side of your helm and it felt like you blacked out. You blacked out on what seemed like the conveyor belt to the...To the trash chute!?
You were barely even conscious. You really just look up and then close your eyes. You couldn't think much about anything. All of this happened too fast. You felt a cold liquid run down your face (do they even bleed? or. would I say leak?)
That's really beside the fact.
You did hear "Oh my primus," a couple times from the bots above you, but really it was kinda late to grab you or get anyone to save you.
Now to B now!
Bumblebee was simply watching trash. Trash that goes into the burner.
He didn't really get the point, but at least he could keep this assignment.
Sure he felt lonely, but again, it wasn't like he didn't fully enjoy his job. He could just hang by himself all day.
All B was was just a bot who was by himself a lot. All the time. No one even came down there.
Yeah, sometimes he wanted someone who he could talk to, or hang out with. It felt like hell. Maybe it was. I mean he did work near the trash burner on one of the lowest levels. It might as well be.
Even trying to be optimistic, he would find himself frowning at the trash like this.
Tumblr media
( LMAO THIS POOR BABY)
Anyway, he really did try to stay as sane as he could.
when he heard a sound coming from the trash chute, he couldn't help but wonder what it could possibly be.
"Do they just send anything down here now?" he went.
"It can barely fit down the chute," he continued, getting closer to it.
Once whatever was in the chute got close to the end, it came down fast.
With a BANG, you fall on the conveyor belt, limp.
"Oh my Primus, it's another bot!" he said, quickly acting, pulling your limp frame off of the conveyor belt before you could reach the trash. He stopped the machine and placed you on the ground.
You look kinda conscious but definitely not responsive.
He took off his protective helmet and tried to figure out your situation.
"Are you alright?" He tries to speak to you.
All you could do was move your eyes. Little by little you realize you were on the ground.
"Do you need help?" He asked again, panicking, especially after realizing you had a cut or a bruise of some sort on your helm.
"Try getting up, maybe I could help you if you get Energon running through you again," he suggested.
You blink a couple times.
You try to recognize where you are. You couldn't Though, was that really the most of your worries. You fell into the conveyor belt and almost died for crying out loud.
You groan and put a servo on your helm as you get up slowly.
You rub your face plate and look back at it. Dirt, dust, and-- shit you're leaking.
You put your servo back and down and look around. Everything through your optics felt so saturated. It felt not normal. You hadn't even noticed the bot next to you, looking just as concerned for you as you were for yourself.
You could honestly care less about your surroundings or who this other bot was. At least for now. Not in a mean way. You just felt hurt. Your frame felt numb and so did your face plate.
"Y-you fell down the chute..." He began, looking at you.
You rubbed your helm a bit more and looked at him then at where you would've ended up if he didn't do anything.
"Thank you," you said simply.
"My pleasure," he replied.
"I'm guessing don't have many.. uhm options to get back up there..do I?" You asked.
He shook his helm.
"I could help you- with your injury that is. You seemed to have taken a really big fall," he said, grabbing something.
You guess you did. You barely remembered what had happened it had all gone down so quick.
You looked down. Maybe if you hadn't leaned over the edge, none of this would've happened. You were lucky to even still be online.
B looked at you, after grabbing a bandage. He saw you were upset. He couldn't blame you. Maybe you had it good up there.
"Hey, uhh, I never got your name--" He starts, trying to distract you.
You widened your eyes, getting ready to respond.
"Oh, it's Y/N," you began.
You look at him as he gives you the bandage, hoping he'll respond with his name back.
"Well, Y/N, I'm B-127, I work here at this very level...Just me..." he says smiling...Kinda.
You give a weak smile. He seemed sweet. And alone. Just like you.
"I worked as a low-rank miner who packaged boxes for transport," you go on. "Not so different from picking out valuable stuff from scrap, and watching trash." you finish.
"Looks like I'm stuck down here, but at least you seem cool," you say smiling a little more.
He smiles back sitting with you. He was pretty happy. You were a person he could talk to.
"At least we'll have one another," he says.
"It's better than what my life was up there." You say, thinking.
"I'd rather be down here than be up there," you continue.
After a couple of days, a bot couldn't tell if you guys had been friends all your life or if you guys met a couple days prior.
It was funny because, after about a month, you guys decided to build a buddy!
You decided to name him Steve :3
After building Steve, you had wanted to make a mask just like B's.
"I made a mask like yours, B. Isn't it hella badass? I got it from you," you laugh.
He definitely calls himself Badass after that
(that's where he got the name from!)
You both are glad you found each other when you guys did. You both needed it.

Clawing my way out of depression with some incredibly silly Bumblebee x Reader, in which our beloved Scout is shrunk down to the size of a kitten via science magic and reader must keep him warm in their coat. Reader is gender neutral beyond having titties for Bee to huddle against. Read and join me as I defeat SAD with the power of silliness.
Shrunken Earthspark Bumblebee x GN!Reader
Rated PG for silliness, fluff and booby mention

Hunkering down at the abandoned warehouse you'd been told to wait in, you kept your eyes and ears on the horizon, hoping that the hum of familiar engines would cut through the howling wind and whirling snow before long. Though the air was frigid enough to freeze your breath, the bitter cold accounted for only a small portion of your desire to swiftly reunite with the team, as you had much bigger problems that you needed help with. Well, perhaps "bigger" wasn't the right word for it...
Standing atop the opposite end of the windowsill for his own vigil, Bumblebee looked remarkably alert and well composed for someone a fraction of their natural height. You supposed that his brush with Mandroid could have gone much worse; at least the device the scientist had escaped with had only shrunk the Scout, and done no further harm. It was a double miracle that you'd managed to find his tiny form amidst the knee deep snow of the battlefield. Rubbing your gloved hands together and trying not to stare, you told yourself that Wheeljack would be able to fix everything in no time, and that a few broken laws of physics would return your beloved bot to his usual towering height. Seeing him this tiny was just too strange, and not to mention unspeakably adorable.
A kitten-sized sneeze drew your eyes away from the snowy landscape out the window, and you looked over to find the Scout hugging himself through a dramatic shiver. "Bee? You okay?" you asked quickly, unable to help feeling far more protective than usual.
"F-f-fine!" he replied just as quickly, spinning around to face you. Digits trembling, he forced a shaky smile as he attempted to pass off crossing his arms as a casual gesture, though the tiny crystals of ice you noticed spreading across his frame gave him up just as readily. The poor mech sounded like he was seconds away from turning into a tiny Autobot popsicle as he shivered through every syllable. "Just a little... ch-chilly... B-but I'm f-fine!"
A number of realizations pinged through your mind at once; Bee must have lost a considerable amount of heat while buried in the snow, he was now far too small to regain said warmth, and he had no real idea how to stop himself from freezing now that he didn't have mass to protect himself. His pride had undoubtedly kept him from voicing the problem as it worsened, leaving you with a very tiny and very frozen Scout to thaw. "You're obviously freezing! Why didn't you tell me?"
"N-never been a p-problem before..." he replied as he gave in and started to shiver. Your heart twisted in pity, and you looked about as your brain raced to think of a solution, the lack of supplies leaving you with very few options. There was no way to build a fire, nor was there any power supply to start up the building's climate control, which was probably busted anyway. If only you had a tiny jacket to share...
"I need to get you warm; fast. Let me think... oh!"
The solution that came to you was very silly, and in a less life-threatening situation you would have thought it was quite embarrassing, but the prospect of saving your beloved Scout left no room for such doubts. Unzipping the front of your coat, you offered a hand for him to climb onto.
"Come here. You'll be plenty warm under my coat." you explained, figuring he'd fit perfectly between your shirt and the ample padding. Despite the chill, Bee managed a pink blush across his frozen cheeks, optics going wide in bashful embarrassment as he put together what you meant. It seemed that his pride hadn't shrunk with him.
"Y-you don't have-"
"Shush. At this rate, you'll freeze before our ride gets here" you insisted, voice growing a tad more urgent at his worsening freeze. Just watching his wings shake in time with his shivers made you care little for any kind of pride, including your own, and you used your concern to remain steadfast. Bringing your hand close enough for him to feel the warmth radiating from your glove made his resolve visibly waver. "So for now, my heat is your heat."
"Mmm..." he hummed in uncertainty, growing more tempted by the second. No bigger than a kitten and only slightly more intimidating, he cracked after only a few additional moments of hesitation, steadying himself against your thumb as he sat in your palm. He couldn't have weighed more than a pound, and you had to stifle a reflexive squee as he instinctively pressed himself into the warmth of your hand. A drooping of his optics made resisting that much harder. "Maybe just for a few minutes..."
"Of course." you said with a knowing smile. Gently sliding him into the opening of your coat, you just managed to avoid hissing as his frigid mesh settled against your shirt, though it was easy to ignore the discomfort when the tiny bot melted against you. With the outcrop of your breasts to support him, and the... "plush" of the area in question to keep him comfortable, Bee settled down as quickly as one would on a luxary mattress. Shivers dying down before your very eyes, the Scout rested his helm against you with the tiniest sigh. You had an undeniable urge to pet him as you whispered down into the little pocket of warmth. "There. Better?"
"Much... thank you." he murmured, looking up to meet your eyes with a smile as grateful as it was sleepy. Hoping he couldn't hear the resulting flutter of your heart, you pulled the zipper up a tad to keep the heat from escaping, grateful that your mammalian physiology could come in such handy. You'd have happily watched him rest his optics for hours, but a hum in the distance drew your gaze to the frosty window. Through the thick whirls of snow, your squinting eyes made out the faint outline of a familiar truck and aircraft, followed by a number of other vehicles you'd been hoping to see. The convoy had arrived.
"I think that's our evac, do you want-"
You went quiet at the sound of the tiniest snores you'd ever heard emanating from your coat, and as soon as your heart was done with its backflip, you found yourself wondering whether or not Bee would wish to be woken before his comrades saw him snoozing atop your breasts.

To the Soft and the Cold
Optimus Prime x Reader
Warnings: fluff
Summary: Despite being a giant metal robot, sometimes people call Optimus soft. Despite being a soft squishy human, sometimes people call you cold.
Masterlist | Transformers Masterlist
Word count: 1,397
───・❅・❄・❆・❄・❅・───
"It's funny."
"Hm?"
The wind blew past you, sweeping through your clothes and cooling you down as the setting sun kept you warm. It would not keep so kind a temperature for long—the cold seeped in more and more with every passing minute—but in the Jasper desert a little bit of cool air was a welcome gift. Which, perhaps only highlights the strange disparity between you even more.
"Despite being the soft squishy human from a hot little desert, I'm seen as cold. Despite being the giant transforming iron truck from a planet made of metal,  you're seen as...Soft."
Despite the beauty of the sunset and the growing hues of pink that burst across the horizon, Optimus never tore his optics from you—until now. Averted to the setting sun, he shifted so he was closer to you before he tucked his legs up to his chest, and leaned a little more against the rocks you stood on. His helm now within reach, you swept your hand across his audial fin ignoring the feeling of dust against metal.
Having spent so long in this little desert, the dust and debris has long since ceased to irritate you—even more once you met Optimus. It's far from the worst he's been anyways. Compared to some other times, this layer is at least very thin. It's a thing you've noted lately, how you would often find that Optimus only ever really had a thin sheen of dust overtop him, while some of the other bots like Bulkhead or Arcee, or even Ratchet seemed to have layers upon layers of sand and grime. At best, they only cleaned when it became awfully visible, at worst they'd clean only when the grime began to impede their functioning. You didn't blame or judge them of course. Cleanliness could take a bit of a back seat in the face of ensuring both your own and an entire easily squishable population's survival.
It made it easier to touch and feel him though. Sometimes you liked to think that it made it easier for him to feel you.
"Do you think so too?" Optimus asked, the fin you had been petting for a while now twitching slightly and encouraging you to reach for the bottom side of it.
Despite your temptations, you're cautious not to reach too far, knowing the twitch of his fins were hardly under his control. It's never really happened before, even as his fin twitched as your hand remained against it, but you still can't help the natural fear of a big metal object slashing through the air and slicing or crushing your arm.
"Think what?" you ask, sweeping your thumb across the metal you hold. It's hardly any movement at all, but you can see how Optimus relaxes at the feeling. It's a little hard to wrap your head around—how such a big bot can feel such a small thing—but you're grateful for the little kindness that you’re allowed to give.
"Do you think I'm soft?"
You answer immediately. You answer without thinking.
"Yeah."
His fins go still.
Could you really deny that Optimus was soft? When he leaned against the surface you stood on, placed his helm so close to you so that you could touch him. When he snuck the both of you away and carved time from his hectic and important schedule just to read poetry with you—Primus, not even just for you. When he'd offer to bring snow back for Raf to see, when Miko and Jack would struggle in their classes—a miniature, distracting problem in the face of planetary survival and war—but Optimus would still offer advice from his experience and knowledge as an archivist and help if he had an extra moment to spare. When he'd calmly console Bee or Ratchet or compliment any member of his team...
It was impossible to see him as anything but soft and tender and kind.
You knew, of course, that many criticized that. War was no place for a person to be soft. It lead to enemies being spared, left to kill another day, left to take another one of your own when you didn't take one of theirs. Optimus had been criticized many a time for that lingering trace of softness around Megatron, the sort that made him falter, and let Megatron get the upper hand.
Soft, perhaps, is an insult to someone like him.
"I mean when you're with us," you blurt trying to remedy Optimus' spiraling thoughts. "You're soft with the kids and your team, I don't think that it's a bad thing to be kind to at least—"
"I don't think you're cold,"
"…What?"
He lifts a servo and as gently as he can manage, he brushes it against your stomach and chest. It still manages to knock you back a step, but once you lean into his touch, you find comfort in the tender motions
"You're warm,” he muses, optics trained intently on the the contact between his digit and your torso. “You're soft as well."
The laughter that bubbles up in your chest isn't meant to sound mocking, but you can't help but worry if it does. You've received many cold criticisms for the cruelty of your delight, even when you never intended to mock or harm. It makes you guarded, weary.
When you look at Optimus, all you see is his soft blue eyes, bright against the darkening sky, and the softest little curve of a smile upon his lips.
Soft. Warm. Tender. When he looks at you like you hang the stars in the sky, how could you describe him as anything else?
"I didn't mean it like that," you grouch instead. Averting your eyes back to the horizon where the sun had already long slipped down. The hues of orange and gold are the only traces of it left, and the darkness approaches with astounding speed.
It's cool, and soft and, tender. A welcome relief against the desert heat.
The night is nice as well, but not nearly as kind to you as the cool metal of his digit.
"I know." Optimus chuckles a little, his smile growing wider.
In the face of it you can't help but run through anything and everything you could do to keep the broad grin on his face, knowing it was a fleeting rarity amidst all of his hardships. You wish you had met under better circumstances. Even if he was still an archivist rather than a powerful faction leader selected by an alien god, you'd still want to be with him. Perhaps then, without the weight of two worlds resting on his shoulders, you could wring a smile from his face and keep it there for longer than an hour.
Inevitably it falters, and eventually it falls away. You don't know what had caused it, but it strikes a pain in your chest all the same.
"I meant... In the way you refer to me as soft as well," Optimus clarifies, once again shifting his digit to rub patterns against what little of you he could touch. "You're warm. You're kind and sweet and tender. You say I'm soft as if you aren't warm."
Your body decides to take his words as advice, as your cheeks and chest grow warm under Optimus' scrutiny. Once more delight burst across his face, and his digits curl around you, to allow his thumb to press a little firmer against your warm chest.
"So warm..." he hums, delighting in your embarrassment.
You try, and fail to tuck yourself away from his scrutiny. You could have done a better job at it, you know, but the chance to watch the liquid delight wash over his features is a moment you would never squander. So you let him grin and ridicule you in silence, the delight in his eyes, combining with a pillow-soft look, as you settle down in your half-hiding position leaning against his thumb.
"So... Soft," you reply.
Despite your whisper, you know Optimus can still pick up the soft sound of your voice, so keenly attuned to listening for you. Even then, you continue to hide halfheartedly, still taking the chance to watch Optimus laugh and still trying to hide the warm look that was surely growing on your face.
You didn't want it to be too easy for him to prove himself right, after all.

Can we pretty please have some angsty fluff?
Maybe Optimus Prime from TFP returning to Earth because he missed his s/o. (Let's pretend RID never existed. Please.) Maybe he left on a bad note and they told him that they'd never forgive him. And once he's back, she's completely ignoring him and she's trying her best to avoid him at all costs
You can choose what to do in the end. I want to see your mind wander :DD
Unforgiven Goodbyes
TFP Optimus x human! gn! reader
whoops
Warnings: Swearing, mentions of injury/blood, mental struggles, just straight-up angst.
Word count: 2,475
You're pissed off. No, you're more than pissed off. A tangle of emotions that would take a lifetime to detangle in your mind. You are pissed off, heartbroken, angry, yet excruciatingly relieved to see him.
But you can't bring yourself to face him again. That beautiful, other-worldly sculpted face seems to torment you whenever you close your eyes. That moment when he looked back at you before he plunged himself into the Well of Allsparks, the look of apologetic heroicness. It burned into your brain and left a nasty scab that you can't help but pick at. But the scar has healed. You've disciplined yourself to stop scratching it, but watching him walk through the hangar doors ripped it open once again.
You've distracted yourself as much as you can. Doing pointless chores around the new base the bots have made themselves at home with, going for long walks outside by yourself, hiding around every corner when you hear that rumbling voice. You tried everything to keep the wound closed, to pretend that he's still dead, to justify all the mourning you've gone through all these years.
Another reason not to face him was how you reacted when he told you his plan. You were the first to know, and you've never felt your heart sink so fast. It was like he had struck a dagger to your stomach and kissed you as you were bleeding out. You had exploded with anger you couldn't control and stormed out before he could do anything about it. You screamed at him as he collapsed onto his knees that you would never forgive him, and so far, you've kept that promise. The next time you saw him was before he made his great sacrifice, and you had nothing else to say to him. You couldn't say anything else.
And you won't for a long time, not when you have headphones on to block out the world. You stand at the sink in the human kitchen. It's semi-exposed to the main base, with a half-wall shielding the stove and sink. You're not sure why it's exposed; it must be concerning the lack of rooms in this old military bunker. You don't care anyway. You only care about scrubbing the dishes beyond clean and slamming them onto the drying rack before you break the delicate ceramic plates from gripping them too hard.
While cleaning the dishes, you don't realise how much of a racket you're making with your music blasting and capture the attention of the one bot you were trying to avoid.
Optimus.
He looks at you curiously, a hint of longing in his optics. Optimus knows you're avoiding him, and it's so blatantly obvious that everyone notices, too, creating tension through the base you could cut with a sharp enough knife. He wants to talk to you. He needs to talk to you. And so far, this is the only opportunity he's stumbled upon that could make it possible. Though, he doesn't want to frighten you and scare you away. He needs to be gentle and cautious in his actions, but it's difficult when you can't hear or see him.
Optimus reaches out, his servo twitching at how gentle he's trying to be. He touches your shoulder with a single digit but retracts his servo quickly when you jump out of your skin and drop a plate on the floor, shattering the ceramic in all different directions.
You scream then seethe, ripping your headphones off to face whoever dares to lay a finger on you, "Why the fuck would you-"
Frozen in your tracks, you stare at Optimus, the longest you've looked at him in a long time. Your heart snaps in two again, and the wound in your mind festers with flashbacks before you try to make a run for it. You don't get far, though, before you step on a piece of broken ceramic and cry out in pain.
"Ah!" You fall back on the ground, clutching your lower leg, "Fuck it-"
"Y/n, I am so sorr-"
"N-No!" You practically spit in his face. You let go of your leg and scramble backwards into a corner. With nowhere else to go, you turn to face him again and watch how his grip tightens on the railing before him. If looks could kill, Optimus would still be dead. Maybe you secretly hoped it was possible, "Get away from me."
"Please, you're hurt," Optimus looks down at your bare foot, now bleeding heavily onto the floor from a deep gash.
You furrow your eyebrows at him, not giving a damn that you're bleeding. You've been through worse, after all, "Oh, so now you care?"
Optimus tilts his helm, "What? I have always cared-"
"Oh really? You're really going to do this, Optimus?" You growl, grabbing the bench above you to pull yourself up, "You didn't seem to care about me when you sacrificed yourself! No, scratch that," You point a bloody finger at him, "When you fucking abandoned me!"
Optimus's shoulders sink, his grip on the railing relaxing as he feels like you've plunged a knife into him, "I did not-" He sighs heavily, like he cannot find the words, "Please... let us get you to Ratchet."
"I don't need his or- or your help," You hobble on one foot, hissing in pain as you make your way to anywhere else on the planet. The blood smears on the floor with every misguided step as you pass by him with a cold shoulder, "I've managed just fine on my own, Prime." You sneer at him.
Optimus watches you hop down the stairs, and he slumps his frame down on the railing. His vocaliser rumbles with regret and pain at how you're treating him. And it's not like he can blame you. Optimus would probably be stricken with the same grief if a lover of his decided to sacrifice themselves; he'd be absolutely distraught. And all that distraught just for them to return like it was a mere week-long vacation? Well, he wasn't sure what he'd do. He thought you would be overjoyed and run up to him with that beautiful smile on your lips, perhaps even beg for one of those joyrides he always loved taking you on through the desert. He thought you would've missed him, the bare minimum for someone who has lost a loved one.
Optimus sighs and lifts his helm from the railing before turning on his pedes to look for something else to distract him from you. He looks down before he takes a step and sees your trail of smeared blood on the concrete. His optic ridges furrow, a look of determination and apprehension as he steps to follow your crimson breadcrumbs out of the hangar doors.
Before he reaches the hangar doors, a soft touch plants itself on his shoulder, and he jolts slightly. Optimus turns his helm down to see a gloomy look on Ratchet's face, his servo squeezing his shoulder comfortingly.
"Let them go, Optimus," He speaks softly, "They need some space."
Space is the only thing he's given them so far.
-
"Stupid fucking dishes. Stupid me. Stupid him."
Your fingers tremble as you rip some of your shirt off to wrap around the gash in your foot. The minor hit of adrenaline quickly left you like a hit of nic as soon as you slumped down on the other side of the hangar outside. The dull throbbing turns into sharp pain as you tighten the fabric, causing a small whimper to leave your throat. You relax your head against the concrete wall behind you, wishing you could slam it against it instead. But anger slowly drains from your frame, and you bury your face into your dirty hands, and you sob—a heartbreaking sight to anyone that were to stumble upon you.
But you find that the tears weren't mourning from him, but for yourself.
How selfish are you? Are you so dense in the head that you're blindsighted to how much he loves you? How much Optimus missed you that even after facing the hereafter, he came back for you? How awful must the afterlife be for him to want to come back to you, of all people? These questions come flooding into your mind with every tear-jerking sob that wracks your body. But the one question at the forefront of your mind terrifies you, making you want to slump further into the self-deprecating aura you've swallowed yourself in.
Do you still love him?
You bite your lip hard. Do you still love him? That's a stupid question to ask yourself. Of course you still love him. You wouldn't be the person you are today if you never did.
Then why the fuck do you push him away?
You don't know. Maybe it was how you spoke to him before he took his own spark, being so ashamed of yourself that you could barely look at him. Or perhaps you've become too comfortable in your new adjustment to life without him, and for that to all come crumbling down so suddenly with no warning has shaken you to your core.
That's very selfish of you.
You know that. You've always known that.
Maybe you just weren't ready to let go.
A deep, trembling breath leaves your parted lips.
...
Yeah, you know.
-
Optimus stealthily follows the trail once again after Ratchet leaves. He just can't walk away after that encounter. And as much as it hurts him to see your reaction, he must ensure you're okay despite whatever you spit in his face. Optimus did not beg at the throne of Primus himself for another chance at nothing. He needs to make amends, no matter how much of a fight you put up at your wishes to be left alone.
Soft steps of his pedes lead him on a wild goose chase. It seemed as if you had stumbled around in circles for quite some time, the trail of blood looping around before overlapping itself to follow the edge of the hangar. Optimus become increasingly concerned about your welfare, worried you have lost too much blood. But he knows that you are tough if all these years on your own have anything to show for it.
His pace replaces stealth for hastiness as he continues on the trail, rounding the next corner of the hanger. He stops in his tracks when he sees you, and his eyes soften with pure broken-heartness. His servos clenching in regret.
He carefully approaches your slumped frame and stands before you. He first notices your foot, half bandaged and leaking slightly. You weren't wrong after all. You could take care of yourself. He smiles softly to himself at this.
Optimus carefully kneels in front of you, still a fair distance away. All he wants to do is pick you up and tell you that everything is alright, that he's here and not ready to leave again anytime soon.
He keeps his servos to himself for now.
"Y/n," Optimus begins softly, "I know you are upset," This seems like an all too familiar conversation, "And you have every right to be."
No reaction from you so far, a few sobs and hiccups. His spark clenches.
"I did not get a chance to tell you how truly thankful I am for you," Optimus continues, fidgeting with a digit in his lap, "How I still reminisce on our long-forgotten time together, even whilst I was merged with the All Spark."
Optimus takes a chance. He shuffles closer to you and gently pries your hands from your face like you were a pretty piece of wrapping paper he wanted to keep. His optics drag over your sodden face, how your eyes begin to focus on his. It wasn't the fiery look of anger he had seen just earlier but one that looked of surrender; you had given up a fight he wished he could've helped you with.
Optimus moves one servo from your hands to gently caress your face, a gentle digit brushing over your cheeks, "My, just look at you," He cups your chin softly, tilting your head to look up at him, "You are still as beautiful as ever."
He watches as the tears well in your eyes again, a small glimmer in your eyes that's more familiar to him than the dull. You grip his servo and pull it into a hug, resting your forehead on his wrist, and you cry.
"I'm sorry... I'm sorry...I-I'm stupid... I shouldn't have..." You sob, clutching onto him with every fibre of your being, "Oh god..."
Optimus's spark fizzles and cracks at your heart-breaking apology and the tears dripping onto his servo. He gives you a sombre look before carefully pulling you into his servos, picking you up to press you against his chassis to return his long-awaited affections.
"Shh," He hushes your cries, pressing a gentle kiss to your head as he rocks you softly like a slumbering sparkling, "It is alright; nothing you say could ever make me resent you."
You sniffle, burying your head into his chassis. His familiar scent of motor oil and fumes fills your senses and relaxes you deeper into him. You try to speak, to say anything other than hiccuping pathetically.
"I-" You stutter, ripping your face away from his chassis to stare up at him. A shaky hand reaches up to touch him, a tiny 'tink' as your fingernail grazes against his face plate. He's real, he's here, and he's not mad at you. And the best thing is, he forgives you.
And you forgive him.
"I missed you," You take a sharp breath, "I miss you so much."
Optimus' sombre frown turns into a small smile; a weight lifts off his frame at your admission. The worry he put himself through all seems to melt away as he presses a soft kiss to your lips, hoping to melt away your grief with the kiss along with his.
You gasp softly. Far too much time has passed since you've felt those gentle dermas meld into yours, and as much as the past you wanted to forget how his touches felt, you find yourself kissing him back with as much need and passion. A few fleeting moments pass before you're forced to part for a much-needed breath. It feels like life has returned to you, like after all this time without him you were holding your breath in fear of drowning.
Optimus closes his optics, softly pressing his forehead against yours, leaning into the warm touch of your hands that he oh so craved. He knows you still love him, he never once doubted that deep down inside you always did, even after he had regretfully abandoned you.
"I miss you too."
Finally. He felt good to say that.

You woke up slowly, the light of your optics slowly returned to their original bright color. You tried to lift your servo to your pounding helm but found you couldn't move. Panic began to rise. You couldn’t help but ask yourself.. what happened?
A groan escaped you as the pain in your helm intensified. Your processor scrambled to figure out where you were and what was going on. Before you could lift your helm, something – or rather someone – did it for you.
A single digit tilted your chin upward, accompanied by a low hum. “Interesting..” He mused, tilting your helm to the side.
Through blurry optics, you made out the figure of a mostly red and grey bot standing in front of you. As your vision settled, your optics widened in recognition, and you realized you were kneeling. Instinctively, you tried to stand, only to be met with the rattle of restraints binding your servos behind your back. Your processor demanded a reaction—fear, caution. This was someone you should be afraid of.
“Don’t even think about yelling right now, pretty. I don’t want you waking your friends up yet.” He hissed, shoving a digit in your face before you could open your intake to speak.
You narrowed your optics, slowly swallowing your fear. “Are you going to kill us?”
He placed a digit on his chin, thinking to himself. “Hmm, maybe. Not you, maybe them. If you want them with their spark intact, I’d warn them to behave.”
“Uh huh...okay. Uh.. where are we?”
Starscream shot you an almost offended look. Right, of course—he forgot. Sentinel and the rest of Cybertron had long stopped telling the tale of the High Guard ever since…
“Why, you're in the presence of the High Guard. We’ve been sabotaging Sentinel’s work from the sidelines for decades, and I’m sure you miners never bothered to notice. No one ever does…" He looked off to the side, scoffing.
Your optics widened. “High guard…Starscream?”
"It's a pleasure to introduce myself to you," he said with a snarky grin. "I knew you’d recognize me eventually."
“You know what Sentinel did? We’re also trying to.. stop him. We were working on that just before you captured us.” You felt your spark leap. Would it be possible to have such a strong ally on your side?
He raised a brow, “it’s about time you all became aware.”
He looked over to the purple bot next to him, “Shockwave, undo their binds.”
“..Starscream that is illog-“
“I said, do it,” he snapped, not bothering to glance in Shockwave's direction.
You heard Shockwave huff before the restraints on your wrists fell away. Looking behind you, your friends were still unconscious—Dee, Bee, Orion, and Elita sat motionless.
“Can you let go of my friends?
“I don’t know about that, Y/N.” He mused thoughtfully, your designation rolling off his glossa smoothly.
“I don’t trust them… but you? I want you to work with me." He stepped closer, a sly smile spreading across his face. The bots around him turned their helms sharply in his direction—Starscream was impulsive but not....this impulsive. He was being outright foolish.
Before you could respond, he cut you off. "As you said, we have the same goal. I have an army. You could be a part of it."
He stepped closer to your still-kneeling form, humming in satisfaction.
He let his servo gently trace the side of your helm, following the line where the light hit your metal and reflected back a soft glow of color. Realizing what he was doing, he quickly pulled his servo back, letting it hover uneasily over your helm He doesn’t know what came over him.
“You could be by my side as an equal, not just some soldier. You could be more than you are now.”
His voice like a serpent’s hiss in your audio receptors. sounding ever so sweet. He knew what he was doing, but he didn’t know why. He needed a bot like you at his side. Literally and figuratively.
“…And if I refuse?” You whispered, your voice slightly shaking.
“Then I’d be losing the one thing that’s missing from me,” he leaned down to your height. “And you know I'm not about to let that happen."

╚═════ Ratchet ═══════════════════════════════╝
⚕️ When you first met Ratchet, you loved how sweet and fun-loving he was, but as he and you aged and eventually became, as Miko says, 'titular old-people', your love for him never wavered
⚕️ But, when Optimus confronted you and asked if Ratchet had done anything with the Synthetic Energon recipe, you were very confused. Why was he asking you this?
"Y/N, my dearest sparkmate!" Ratchet yelled, wrapping his arms around you and picking you up, making you squeak in shock.
⚕️ He spun you around as you clung your limbs inside, trying not to break anything as he spun you around the base. You're not the biggest bot, but certainly not the smallest
"Ratchet, what is going on with you?" You asked as he set you down.
"Nothing's wrong. Is it so bad that I wanted to show my one and only some affection?"
"Considering the fact that whenever you try picking me up after a battle, your spinal-cord gets sore, resulting in you whining about how much it hurts... then yes."
"Well, my spinal-cord feels fine. So, do you wanna go on a drive?" Ratchet asked as he reached out and grabbed your arm, pulling you away.
"What- whoa!"
»–•–«
⚕️ It was when Ratchet's signal came back online and you, with the the rest of the team, went off and you saw Knockout attacking your sparkmate when you snapped, pushing your warrior-strength out once more
⚕️ You ran up and allowed your arm to become a spear, which you used to stab the Decepticon's abdomen. As he yelled in pain and stumbled back, you kicked his backwards and into the rocky-walls
"You scratched my paint and stabbed me! What is wrong with you?!"
⚕️ Ratchet walked over and grabbed the tube full of synthetic energon, making the 'Con and you look at him with either anger of confusion
"What are going to do? Drink it?" He yelled.
"No. I'm going to destroy it."
⚕️ Throwing the energon next to the 'Con, you smirked. Now that was the mech you loved
"You idiot! Megatron will have my head!" Knockout exclaimed, making you snort in amusement.
"How fortunate for me." You said.
⚕️ Knockout then drove off as the rest of the team arrived, and that was when you heard Ratchet fall behind you. And when you turned around and looked at him, you saw he had a massive wound in his chest and it was letting out a lot of energon, and fast...
»–•–«
⚕️ Optimus walked away from Ratchet, whom was awakening from a stasis-nap, and nodded to you as you laid down a few more cubes of the energon down
⚕️ You walked up to him and sighed, gripping his servo in your own, which made him groan and attempt sitting up. And, as the only clearly-thinking one in that duo, you pushed him back down, telling him to stay
"Y/N... I need to say something."
"If it's an apology, it's not needed, Ratchet."
"No, you need it. I- I was being a jerk-"
"No. You were being the you I fell for back then. But the thing is... I don't want that mech anymore. I want the one that I've aged with."
⚕️ Smiling down at him, Ratchet chuckled before groaning in pain once more. You rolled your optics and leaned down, laying your head down on his, which made him close his optics and sign gently
"Don't ever change yourself again, Ratchet."
"As long as you don't do it either." He teased.
"I promise."
