I have trouble settling on favorite things. I don't even have a favorite song. But especially regarding things like pokemon as I have a unique team every time I play, so my favorites will often be the pokemon on my team for the duration of a game and then I'll no longer particularly care once I'm no longer using that team.

But there are some pokemon that I always give the same name each time I catch one in a game so I stay attached to them for a longer time.

This isn't all of them but some of them have been consistent favorites for years.

The Powerpuff Girls' Pokemon Teams

I've been looking up PPG fanart around here for a while, I used to watch the show with my sisters, and I was feeling nostalgic. Then I thought it would be fun to make Pokémon Teams for them.

I gave them each a Kalos starter because I think those are the starters that fit them the most. Honestly, they suite Blossom and Buttercup the best, I was actually torn between giving Bubbles a Froakie or a Popplio, but ultimately, Froakie was the winner.

Naturally, I gave them each an eeveelution because I just figured it is a must for these three. I didn't give them one that simply matched their colors, they needed ones that really fit them. Blossom has Glaceon to symbolize her ice breath. Bubbles has Sylveon because it evolves with high enough happiness and knows a fairy-type move and it suits her the best. Buttercup is harder to explain, but I thought with its speed and spiky design worked the best with her.

I also gave them each a Pseudo-Legendary Pokemon because as superheroes, I thought they deserved it. Blossom has Metagross because its super intelligent, Bubbles has Dragonite because it's helpful and friendly, and Buttercup has Garchomp because of how popular it is for competitive battling.

On a less significant note, I gave them each at least one Pokémon capable of Mega Evolution. (Blossom technically has two but I feel like if she only mega evolved one, it would be Alakazam).

My first Pokémon game was Pokémon Ruby. Originally, as kid I wasn't able to beat the game, or fully understand it, to be honest. But when I was older, I went back and beat the game with my team. I was even Extra enough to have a Milotic. Watch out Wallace, I'm coming for you! For some reason, Steven Stone is still my favorite champion.

pokemon day........been thinking about the gunterleigh pokemon teams i put together last spring

(more specific ramblings below but i did not pick the 'mons based on team composition. a lot of the choices either reflect parts of their characters or relate to various hcs i have.)

some pokemon on their teams i intentionally matched based on themes/typing (dragalge/dhelmise, braviary/corviknight, florges/luvdisc) For Leigh: -torracat matches their colour scheme!! -dragalge relates to some hcs i have for fallen!leigh (eager to get rid of trespassers), and since it coexists with dhelmise despite being territorial that's why they're paired together -autumn sawsbuck cuz i think they're pretty, they have red leaves, and i love autumn -for braviary i liked the ultra sun pokedex info "the more scars it has on its front, the more heroic it's considered to be. those with many scars on their back are mocked by the flock." picturing that in pokemon verse leigh's braviary was ridiculed for having scars on its back and abandoned by its flock, but when leigh catches it they give it a loving home -similarly for gothitelle, i found the pokedex entries about it being able to predict the future/see trainers' lifespans really bittersweet ;uu; but leigh would be there for it despite knowing what it's probably seen -luvdisc cuz i love love!! For Gunter: -polteageist is a pokemon gunter's had since his youth. eventually it comes to trust leigh too, so gunter and leigh can enjoy its tea together -dhelmise to match with dragalge re: fallen alts, also powerfully strong. something something dhelmise's are sunken ship debris held together by seaweed, gunter in canon is possessed by a water god after sinking into valla. the similarities are too good! -every knight needs a horse pokemon. mudsdale felt like a good match because of its personality -corviknight to match gunter's aesthetic (ever since they announced this 'mon i've thought of pairing them together...) -relicanth……it looks old……admittedly its facial expression reminds me of gunter (in the best way!) -florges relates to the backstory hcs i have for gunter and his first wife meeting at a festival dedicated to flowers. in pokemon verse he and his wife raised their flabébé together to a florges in the valley of flowers where they once lived

Kiryu!! From the start the only thing I had in mind for his team was that they all had to be exceptionally cute pokemon. When I started looking through the options, though, I narrowed it down further: Pokemon that absolutely look like they’d be prizes in a claw machine. Delcatty fit the bill more before it evolved but it still has stuffed animal vibes and that’s what matters.

Unlike the rest of the trainers I’ve introduced, Kiyru does contests full time rather than the gym challenge. He designs his own costumes, and those for his Pokemon; he’s got notebooks full of sketches, and he’s always window-shopping when he’s in towns to find inspiration. Most of his routines and the accompanying costumes are based on his favorite video games — he’s played the part of princesses and adventurers alike, from fantasy to sci-fi, anything and everything that strikes his fancy. He frequently records himself on his Rotom phone (the latest model, always) and uploads the videos of his practices online, so he’s got something of a cult following even prior to his debut as a contest participant.

Most of Kiryu’s pokemon are ones he sought out specifically. He’s had his Jigglypuff since he was a kid. He doesn’t actually remember how they met — his parents apparently came to collect him from the playground one day to find he and the Jigglypuff were making up songs together, and they wouldn’t be separated. Skitty, Spheal, and Teddiursa all fit the aesthetic Kiryu wanted as a trainer and he was happy to search for them. Stufful, though. Stufful was a special case. A girl Kiryu had been seeing at the time asked him to win her something from a claw machine, and to both their surprise, the cute, pink-furred stuffy turned out to be a living pokemon that had mistakenly gotten into the machine. His date hadn’t wanted the responsibility of taking care of it, so Kiryu took the Stufful home with him, and it fit in perfectly with the rest of his team.

He’s technically a rival of Suo’s (they compete in the same contests frequently and usually both claim top spots) but they’re far more friendly with each other than the media would have anyone believe.

My Indigo Disk Team

Gonna be honest, I only really used this team for some BBQs and Drayton's challenge. After that, I just relied on my original team, since they were level 100 at the time.

Still, I was able to train these pokemon up and win a few Academy Ace Tournaments. And I had such a blast with these pokemon. These are some of my favorites from past games.

My idea for my FC if she was in Pokemon Journeys instead of Goh. The idea is that she takes up helping Pokemon in need while Ash goes through the World Coronation. Surprisingly, I had an easier time with her Generation VIII team than with Generation XI...

Welcome to my blog, @brokenxana here. Silas is a character I've been having fun with for a while and I've decided to remake his pin cause I lost the last one. And remade it again cause it seemed in character to use a subway card rather than a trainer card

Silas is a criminal as of in universe August 3rd 2018, for grand larceny at Unova PD. your characters are free to recognize him from any news outlet as either the criminal he is or the Police officer he was. On October 6th, 2024 wanted posters for a bounty of 5 million Poke were flown over Unova.

Me and Silas are both adults, suggestive topics will come up very infrequently but directly NSFW content will be avoided.
