Being a trad-wife isn't attractive to some women because theres some "feminine urge" or "instinct" to wear dresses, be cottagecore or slave away for an ungrateful husband.

Its that its a well used template for your life, for your identity, the "traditional" way has a set of rules to follow.

Even if it sucks, you know what you're getting into, you know what you have to do to live up to these expectations. It feels like a safer bet than the unknown, than inventing yourself and the life you want from scratch, the unknown is terrifying!

This isn't looking down on anyone, this isn't my usual shitpost content because I sympathize! I considered going there too every now and then I reconsider it, but I realise everytime that its TOO MUCH OF A SACRIFICE!

Yes, sometimes LARPing as a "proper girl" feels good, but whats the point in living if its never your own life? If you follow the template forever then who are you without it, do you live so your children get to live or do they follow the template too.

TLDR: Don't be afraid to try being your own person!
