I'll bite. What do you think Kuras did to cause him to go into exile?

I feel like Kuras has something to do with the Fogfall, but as for now I know way too little of the Worldbuilding to really theorize about it.

He came from the Shroud himself, and for some reason he carries around guilt like it’s his purse. In the TS universe Monsters and Soulless seem to be separate things, so perhaps he‘s responsible for the creation of soulless somehow?

Maybe it’s like a Pandora‘s box situation where he got too curious about something in the human realm and ended up causing something so terrible he feels responsible for fixing it?

✩ Probably happens in a dimly lit, secluded part of Eridia—perhaps an alleyway where the air is thick with the pungent stench of rotting garbage and decay. The narrow space between the crumbling buildings offers a rare moment of solitude in that God-forgotten city.

✩ Ais's eyes, usually sharp and alert, soften as they linger on the MC.

✩ In his defense, emotions were running H I G H. It's not his fault they were right there, looking so beautiful and absolutely enticing.

✩ His gaze remains locked on theirs, searching for something—maybe permission, maybe a sign that they feel the same pull that he does. When he finds it, his resolve seems to crumble, just a little.

✩ With a deep breath, as if steeling himself, Ais reaches out. His hand, usually so steady and sure, hovers for a moment before finally brushing against the MC’s cheek. The touch is surprisingly gentle.

✩ Yeah, the consequences could wait

✩ The kiss is slow at first, almost tentative, as if he’s testing the waters, unsure of how far he can go. But when the MC responds, the kiss deepens, becoming more intense.

There’s a rawness to it, an urgency that leaves them both breathless.

✩ Ais’s other hand comes up to cradle the back of the MC’s head, pulling them closer as if afraid they might slip away. The world around them—the decay, the danger, the darkness—melts away, leaving just the two of them, lost in the moment.

✞ His expression is gentle, but there’s a depth of emotion there that he hasn’t fully expressed before. Eventually, mister giraffe leans down for a long peak. There’s no rush, giving the MC all the time in the world to decide if that is what they want.

✞ He kisses them with a kind of reverence, as if they’re something precious, something to be cherished.

✞ Oh, don't get me STARTED ON THE HAND PLACEMENT

✞ One hand on the small of their back, firm yet gentle, guiding them closer to him. The other hand tangled in their hair, fingers softly caressing the back of their neck.

✞ When they eventually pull apart, Kuras’s eyes remain closed for a moment longer, as if savoring the feeling, the memory of their lips on his. He smiles, but it’s tinged with a kind of sadness.

✞ Next moment, he's holding them tight against his chest, allowing them to feel the steady beat of his heart.

🗡 Takes place in The Wet Wick, buzzing with its usual crowd—a mix of unsavory characters, mercenaries, and those looking to drown their troubles in strong drink.

🗡 Leander leans in his chair, his posture relaxed. His fingers tap lightly against the rim of his glass, a playful smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.

🗡 “You know, I can’t tell if you’re doing this on purpose,” his words, like always, are laced with that effortless charm.

🗡 Leander watches them for a moment longer, then, with a slow, deliberate movement, reaches out. His fingers lightly graze the back of the MC’s hand, sending a shiver up their arm. Leander’s touch is warm, and his lips even more so as places a soft kiss upon the bare knuckles, emerald eyes gleaming with adoration.

🗡 He then moves their hand to cup his cheek, leaning in...

🗡 The kiss is everything the MC might have expected from him—confident, intense, and undeniably passionate. His lips move against theirs with a kind of practiced ease, as if he’s done this a thousand times before.

🗡 His hand comes up to the small of their back, pulling them closer, his body pressing against theirs.

🗡 When he finally pulls back, his breath is ragged, a faint blush creeping onto his cheeks. His eyes are darker now, filled with something deeper.

🕊 rOOFTOP KISS

The night sky is overcast, casting a muted gray glow over the city. A cool breeze rustles the MC’s clothes as they sit beside Mhin, both of them watching the distant lights flicker across the chaotic city below. The two of them sit in silence, a silence that’s not uncomfortable but rather familiar.

🕊 Mhin's shoulders are slightly less tense, their gaze lingers on the horizon rather than avoiding eye contact. They mightt be on the edge of letting something slip through the cracks of their defenses.

🕊 “Why are you still here? With me?” It’s a question born of clear curiosity, neither insecurity nor doubt.

They turn to face the MC, their heart beating a little faster.

🕊 For a moment, Mhin looks like they might pull back, might retreat into themselves the way they always do. But instead, they hesitate, their breath catching slightly as they move closer.

🕊 “Because I want to be.” It’s not an elaborate answer, but it’s the truth, and Mhin values honesty above all else. “Are you sure?” Mhin asks, their voice quieter still, almost like they’re asking themselves more than the MC. The MC nods, their gaze steady. “Yes.” 🕊 That’s all it takes.

🕊 Mhin is the one to close the final distance between them.

🕊 The kiss is delicate, almost fragile, as though Mhin is afraid to break something—perhaps the walls they’ve built around themselves [too late for that tho---] It’s not rushed or passionate, but slow and measured, like they’re trying to make sense of it.

🕊 Mhin’s hand hovers near the MC’s cheek, as if they want to touch but aren’t sure they should.

🕊 When they finally break the kiss, Mhin pulls back slowly, their gaze searching the MC’s face for any sign of regret or hesitation. There's definately color in their cheeks.

✦ The alleyway behind The Wet Wick, where the flickering light from the tavern barely reaches. It's late, the streets mostly empty except for the occasional passerby, and the two of them have just slipped out of sight, away from the bustling noise of the tavern.

✦ “You really should be more careful around me, you know,” Vere says, his voice low and lilting, dripping with mock concern.

✦ He steps closer, his movements smooth, almost predatory, like a cat toying with its prey. He tilts his head slightly, amusement dancing in his eyes as he closes the gap between them.

✦ His hand moves to brush lightly against the MC’s arm, the touch barely there, more of a tease than a real caress. It's intoxicating, his scent a mix of something sweet and dangerous, like poisoned honey.

✦ They can’t tell if he’s about to kiss them or kill them—and that’s exactly how Vere likes it.

✦ His lips are soft, but there’s a dangerous edge to the way he kisses them, his teeth grazing their bottom lip just enough to send a shiver down their spine.

✦ His hand comes up to cup the side of their neck, his fingers lightly pressing into their skin, holding them in place as he deepens the kiss.

✦ It's as much a test as a promise, a dance on the edge of something darker, something dangerous. It isn’t just about fun for him—it’s about control.

How The Ts Cast would comfort You After A Nightmare

Warnings: uhhh ?? Probably ooc ?? Mentions of smoking since—Ais- a lil suggestive in vere’s but i think that’s it!!

Notes: Gn mc, fluff, somewhat of established relationships??

Leander:

Leander notices your unease before you’re even fully awake. He doesn’t usually sleep, even with your head on his chest. (Or vice versa) He relaxes in your presence, yes, but he can’t force his eyes to shut.

He feels you shift, sees your brows furrow, and knows something isn’t right.

He loves nothing more than being the first person you see after a nightmare. The first person that gets to comfort you.

He will use the fact he can touch your hands to its full advantage.

Takes them and puts his cheeks in your palms. Leaning slightly over you so you can fiddle with his hair.

Will definitely bring your hand to his chest too, “Listen to my heartbeat. I’m here. You’re here. We’re safe. You’re safe with me.”

Hm hm so sweet

Still don’t trust anything he says

Further into your relationship, you can convince him to sing to you.

His deep voice (which I’m still processing btw he did NOT give me deep voice vibes) lulls you into a peaceful rhythm. You can -feel- every note leave his chest, his hands tracing circles on your spine.

If he can get you to talk about what you dreamt about, he’d tell you that he’ll protect you from whatever is bothering you.

You can trust him to be stronger than what or who you’re frightened of. You just have to trust him.

Ais

Ahhh, comfort is not his thing. Or he doesn’t think it is.

But he understands, at least.

He knows what it’s like struggle with nightmares. I’m imagining having dreams in a hive mind is the absolute WORST

He’ll most likely tell you to get up and walk around. Probably come out and have a smoke with him. Get the night air on your face, get your mind grounded.

He’s the opposite of Leander in the sense he won’t ask what you had a nightmare about. He knows to give you space.

He will listen if you do want to talk about it though.

He’s there for you, a steady presence that is just comforting to be around. And he’ll listen for as long as you need. Or just stand by you until you’re ready for sleep again.

Will make you tea once you’re back inside, to warm you up.

“Calms the brain down.” He says as he hands you a cup.

You know he’s talking from experience.

Princess doesn’t leave your side when she notices you’re upset. She’ll put her head on your lap as you drink your tea, offering—not exactly *fur* therapy (idk what…soulless have?) but comfort nonetheless.

If you stay up the rest of the night, Ais is up with you. By the end of the night you have a blanket over your shoulders, an empty cup of tea and a small sense of ease.

Kuras

Still unsure if he sleeps? But if you’re together he won’t argue against sleeping in bed with you.

Similar in a way to Ais, in how he’ll give you a cup of tea and advise things that helps you ground yourself.

Helps you mediate, or just simply clear your mind.

He’ll hold your bandaged hands, and you can feel the warmth despite the barrier.

Soft voice telling you to find five things you can see if the nightmare sent you into a panic attack.

If you’re restless after you wake up, he’ll propose you take a night-time stroll with him.

Will ask you once what you dreamt about, with the intent of knowing how to help you, but if you don’t want to talk about it he won’t pry.

His presence is an anchor, and after just a short amount of time you’re feeling peaceful.

He will try to help you get back to sleep, as a full rest is important. And it’s surprisingly easy to slip back into unconsciousness when you lay next to him. A protective arm around you, the smell of his hair .

You know the comforting feeling of warm water on your hands when you wake up super early? Thst kinda makes you wanna dose off again? That’s the same vibe his aura gives.

Your dreams are full of light when you manage to shut your eyes again.

Mhin

Don’t have anything for this one because if I was sleeping next to Mhin nightmares aren’t what I’m having okay okay

Just kidding I have quite a few ideas 😇

Like Ais, Mhin doesn’t really know how to comfort. At least not anymore.

In fact, taking in Mhin’s character I’ll say you weren’t at the stage yet where you were sleeping together (😖💔)

My vision is this

You awake from your nightmare, panting, sweat rolling down your skin, and you just need to get out.

You go wherever your feet take you, desperately needing fresh air. The walls are too tight, the presence of strangers in the same building as you is suddenly nauseating. (Real.)

You don’t even really know where you’re going, and don’t get snapped out of your haze till you hear a familiar scolding voice. (Baby ur my angggggellll)

“I thought I told you to stay off the streets at night.”

Now whether you tell them you had a nightmare or not, Mhin still notices something’s up.

And though you aren’t at the ‘sleeping together’ stage, you are still steadily trusting each other.

Mhin takes you to the one place they know is a comfort. The alley with most of Eridia’s stray cats.

Fur therapy babyyyy !

After you spend some time with the cats, possibly opening up to Mhin, they then follow you back just to make sure ur stupid butt gets home safely.

But but hhhh

Okay okay listen, you know how Mhin knows anatomy ??

Well they also know the exact pressure points on your body that can calm down your mind.

Their… THEIR hands showing you where to PrESs hhhhr (sorry the beast is winning, I can’t control it)

A pleasant coldness against your skin, the barest touch on your neck when they show you the point under your collarbone.

Before they leave, they slip your covers over your shoulders. And when they think you’re asleep, they leave you with a gentle kiss on the forehead. ☹️

Vere

Ahhh vere vere vere…my arch nemesis…

Now okay- YOU’RE GONNA HAVE TO HEAR ME OUT ON THIS ONE

Soft vere 🥺

Maybe you’re at the point in your relationship when he only sleeps well when he can smell your scent, feel you near. Hear your heartbeat merging with his.

Sleeping with vere is very secure, perhaps a bit possessive, his most gentle also his most violent.

His grip is tight around you, claws sometimes digging uncomfortably into your back. Like he expects someone to come pry you out of his hands.

But his tail is also a comforting weight, gentle as he wraps it around you.

Like leander, he knows instantly when you’re having the nightmare. He lets out a growl as you shift, but it’s not at you specifically (well- maybe a LITTLE because ur kinda throwing off his beauty sleep) but more at whatever must be scaring you.

When he wakes up, notices it’s a nightmare, he feels annoyed he can’t actually fight anyone.

I’m noticing a pattern in the fact not many of the cast knows how to comfort lmaohshshsh

He may make a few flirty remarks “We could always do something to distract you, my dear.”

And hey if that works that works but I’m scared of that close of intimacy so I have a different thought in mind

Side note do you think vere is the type to use ‘my dear?’ I really can’t tell if he’s the type to use that or ‘darling’ for some reason it doesn’t fit in my eyes

ANYWAY

I do think either way he uses something to distract you. He tells you stories about his day, about his life—you honestly can’t tell if the tales are real or not.

But some of them get you laughing

…you also get to pet his ears <333

Idk if foxes purr but he does get so cozy he makes whatever the fox equivalent is.

Holds you somehow closer when you’re back asleep. And it may be silly but he can’t go back to sleep because of how angry he is that isn’t at full power.

You should have nothing to fear when you’re with him. Well, other than him himself.

If your nightmare was a product of someone who hurt you, they are now on his ‘will eat once free’ list.

TOUCHSTARVED headcanons: MC who’s a hugger

Cw: tooth aching fluff, Vere and Mhin being meanies at first, some mentions of violence, some suggestiveness from Vere

LEANDER

You picked just the right man for this

He could be having an entire conversation with someone and if he sees you rushing towards him he opens his warms with a huge smile on his face and waits for you to jump on him

And he will excuse himself and casually walk away with you in his arms

“Excuse me please, it seems someone needs my attention.😁”

The fact that you are a hugger only makes him fall even MORE in love with you

BEAR HUGS

Uses any and every possible excuse to have his arms on or around you

Sitting at the bar of the Wet Wick? He’s draped himself over your body and is cuddling into your nape

Just succeeded at the smallest thing? He’s lifting you up and twirling you around

Just seeing you for the first or last time that day? Your both huddled up and swaying back and forth for at least 5 whole minutes

He’s blackout drunk? Will literally drag you around wherever with an arm around you

It irritates almost everyone around you but they don’t have the heart to say anything about it

You know except Vere, Mhin, and Ais probably-

The amount of times they’ve walked in on you two damn near molded into one, they lost count

He has the option to just hug you back and go about his day, but then again this is Ais we're talking about he refuses to NOT tease you

He fully allows you to just tackle him and stand there with your arms around him

He stares down at you with that same smug grin

The days where it’s extremely cold or he’s just feeling lovey dovey you’ll spend hours huddled up at the seaspring with princess laying across both of your laps and the rest of the soulless surrounding you

Like Leander, uses any possible reason to hug you like it’s the last time he’ll see you

Will walk up to you and lift you up with one arm to spin you around

Do not say your too heavy. He will challenge you on that

The last thing you hear before being lifted up is a raspy “come ‘er you”

The worse days where the voices of the hive mind are clouding any of his own thoughts and making him more loopy than usual, your arms is usually the first thing he seeks

Standing there for long periods of time, his body simply draping itself onto you, his head buried deep into your neck, all he needed was the feeling of your own arms around him, your face pressed against his chest

And just maybe if you listened close enough, you could hear what sounded like purring

KURAS

I get the feeling that at first he would be caught off guard, not used to the feeling of someone clinging onto him so often

For some time he simply chuckles whenever you hug him and gives you a slightly awkward pat on the back before you pull away

But once he actually starts getting used to your affection, he’s more than happy to give it right back :>

Unlike the others who are fully prepared and have arms waiting for you, this tall man instead stands there with absolutely no intention of moving

He lets you run to him and pull him into a tight hold, paying no attention to what’s happening around him as he rests his hand on the small of your back, gently rubbing it

He never explicitly states that he loves or hates the hugs, but he does never pull away whenever you do it

If you happen to be at the clinic whenever he’s dealing with a patient and you wanted a hug he would tell you as gently as possible to wait a moment

“Give a minute would you my dear, I’ll be with you in a moment.”

Very soft but very firm <3

Does not give a fuck if other people say something about your excessive hugging

He’ll give them a harsh side eye but otherwise say nothing about it 

If there is any chance he wants a hug back, he won’t directly say it, but he will make it known he wants one

Walks up to you and simply says “my love” before grabbing you by the hand to pull you close

It’s sudden, but that doesn’t make it any less wholesome

The kind of man to let you run up and hug him with all of your strength and simply continue the conversation he was having

Imagine one rare night he decides to bring out his wings and wraps them around you to add to the hug

Probably one of the few cases where he’s brought out his wings that wasn’t for “other” reasons

Wheeewwww all I have to say is, good luck

If you thought Ais was bad with the teasing, Vere will do you one better

The second you wrap your arms around him it’s like he’s programmed to bully you

“Aw well isn’t someone feeling needy.”

He’s not pulling away, but that doesn’t mean he’s shutting up lmao

The first time you did it, he simply stood there. Ears pressed down as his tail was fluffed up

He didn’t know what to do. I don’t think this guy has gotten a genuine hug before

His first instinct was to push you away, but he couldn’t find it in himself to do that. You weren’t attacking him or anything, you were just, embracing him?

Once you did pull away he replaced his initial shock with a smirk, using his pointer finger to lift your chin and ask if you wanted to touch him that badly

It takes him longer than Kuras to get used to your affection, he’s probably only used to being touched if it’s sex related unfortunately

Prefers if you gently wrap your arms around him instead of running up and practically jumping on him

He’ll be damned before he looks like a fool in public

Pray for whoever decides to be brave enough to comment on your hugging because it can go two ways

Vere says fuck it and kills them right there

Or he sends them so many passive aggressive comments they just walk away reevaluating their life

Only HE can bully you

Takes him forever to start coming to you for comfort hugs

It would have been at least some time after you’ve known each other

One day he just straight up drags you away from what your doing, making sure it was just you and him

He then proceeds to damn near suffocate you with his hold, but after a few seconds you hug him back, both of you locked in place, his tail wagging in pure glee

He tells you to pretend it never happened but you can see the way his tail sways whenever you hug him again

MHIN

In all honesty, they are probably the first one to actually push you away the first time you hug them

Not used to physical affection at ALL but also does not desire it

They didn’t mean to be so forceful when they pushed you, they just genuinely weren’t expecting you to be so…so

Affectionate?

So when you run up and jump on them one day after they just finished hunting soulless their all like “⁉️⁉️”

When you look at them with concern they just tsk and look away

“At least ask first.”

Is fully aware of your hugger tendencies they just…don’t know what to do with that

For some time you do ask first if it’s okay to hug them, and they say yes, but then they proceed to just stand there stiff as a board as you love on them

But if anyone dares to bring up your clinginess their quick to snap back at them

ESPECIALLY if it’s anyone besides Kuras

Even if they don’t show it, they do appreciate you being willing to be physically affectionate in anyway

Especially after so many years of them being convinced that no one could love a monster

Also prefers if you would gently hug them than run up, but also wouldn’t mind the second thing

If you do then they just blush and flick you on the head

Because I have a feeling that they are someone that you cannot sneak up on so there’s a good chance they heard you coming💔

After a while (like a few months) they eventually get used to your constant hugging, so if there’s ever a day where you aren’t wrapped around them then they are quick to wonder if your okay

We love soft Mhin

On the very rare days that Mhin ever seeks out your hugs for comfort, they make sure that they make it count

Like Vere, pulls you aside so it’s just the two of you and simply gives you a tight squeeze, with their hand resting on the back of your head

After that pull away and then pretend nothing just happened but you can see the blush on their face <3

Ykw i think is funny?

Most of the MCs are regionally not from Eridia. Which means it's likely that this is not their main language, but a secondary language they learned

So just imagine:

Vere: *giving a very eloquent and descriptive insult*

Vere: You know?

MC: y-yeah

Also MC:

✨️Or imagine Ais just so happening to know one of the languages MC speaks and talking in that language to make them feel a less like an outsider 🥹😌

✨️Perhaps Mhin could also share the brief language struggle with MC. Like how Leander would excessively use Eridian idioms/sayings and both MC and Mhin look at each other like "do you know what that means??" "I cant tell if this is an actual idiom or he came up with this on spot, so no."

✨️I think it would also be super funny if you add Kuras into the mix. Technically he should be knowing a LOT more languages than Ais, but it just so happens to be VERY outdated so he says something and MC just has to guess:

"It's my language but i have no clue which era that was from"

I thought of something. So we know that Vere has a longer lifespan than the average human, right?

A snapshot several decades later — the larger part of a century, really — Vere looks pretty much the same as he did the day you met. Maybe he’s wearing his hair differently nowadays, faint crow’s feet and smile lines finally beginning to show on his face but aside from that, he is mostly unchanged in appearance. He walks through the halls of a place he’s called home for…a long time now. There’s the broken lute neither of you ever got around to throwing out from when you first tried your hand at replicating the music of his favourite Hightown lutist. Cupboards and drawers filled with his art supplies, your gloves, rolls of spare linen he’s swiped from the Lowtown clinic ages ago. The walls are adorned with his best drawings — many of them are safely kept in his sketchbooks, but there are many he’s proud enough to display in the open. Several of them are portraits of you over the years. He can’t find it in himself to take them down yet. There are so many other memories, relics of the love the two of you have shared over the years strewn throughout your home.

|🩰| Mhin seems like the type to dislike holding eye contact with other people themselves, so it wouldn’t be until after the two of you got to know each other quite well that they would take notice to your inability to look straight at them.

|🩰| Mhin, though very perceptive, doesn’t pick up on your lack of eye contact because of theirs a majority of the time. Unlike you, however, they variate between that and holding eye contact a little too well.

|🩰| They do ask about it occasionally, trying to figure out exactly why you basically refuse to look directly at anyone.

|🩰| They certainly wouldn’t push you to change it, though, allowing you to come out of your shell (or don’t, they genuinely enjoy your company without serious eye contact).

|🩰| On occasions when you’re comfortable enough to hold eye contact with them, Mhin never mentions it (god forbid they embarrass you and make you look away, you do have pretty eyes.)

|🩰| They do enjoy the rare moments you look at them though, a small smile cracking through their usually rather cold and rough exterior.

|🩰| Mhin would never try anything too brash, both out of fear or embarrassing you, but also because they recognize that sometimes it takes a long time to trust a person. You can take all the time you need, and they would gladly wait for you.

Kuras

|🩰| Kuras is used to people staring at his eyes for a long time (likely due to their piercing golden color that is almost nonexistent amongst humans.) That is why, when you wont even hold eye contact with him for more than a moment, he picks up incredibly quickly.

|🩰| Whether or not he means to be like this (one can only guess, he does lack emotional tact.), Kuras is not at all subtle in his attempts to get you to look at him directly.

|🩰| “Why do you avoid eye contact, (name)? Certainly it would be more professional to look other people in the eyes.”

|🩰| Kuras doesn’t mean to be rude with his bluntness, though he quickly realizes what he said could be taken as him criticizing you. After he catches himself once or twice, he does genuinely try to be more empathetic (albeit struggles)

|🩰| Works with you to find ways to make it seem like you’re making eye contact for when you would need it, things like looking at the bridge of somebodies nose, their eyebrows, whatever makes it easier for you.

|🩰| When you do occasionally look up at him directly, he finds himself staring silently for a while into your eyes. It’s very rare that he shows a genuine, non-teasing grin, but in those moments he is genuinely smiling because of you.

I was thinking about how Vere would react to an MC who would randomly pet his tail, and it went from there. So I guess these are kinda like HCs for an MC who has physical touch as a love language?

I'm someone who likes to touch their partner often. Like just rubbing their back/arms while laying in bed. When holding hands, I'll just graze my thumb over the top of their hand sometimes. I'll bury my face in their shoulder/arm or play with their hair or jewelry while watching TV. If it won't interrupt what they're doing, I'll walk up behind them and just rest my chin on their head/shoulder for a moment. etc.

Kuras:

He would eat it up I think. If anything, he'd encourage it and possibly mimic the more subtle gestures once in a while. He just finds it endearing. He's had a lot of partners so he's probably had a lover in the past that did something similar as well so this isn't 100% new.

Mhin:

I could see Mhin getting over simulated by it. Especially if MC just starts doing it subconsciously without saying anything. They'd pull back and flat out reject it at first. There would have to be a talk/compromise. Mhin would overall accept it and recognize it as a loving gesture after a while and would allow it sometimes. Though when Mhin says stop, MC stops (whether it takes effort or not).

Vere:

I think he'd flip out at first bc he compares it to MC petting him like a pet. But when MC explains it, he just teases MC to hell and back the first time or two afterwards, but the teasing doesn't stop MC. Then he realizes he likes it (but he ain't gonna admit/show it) so he also finds normal reasons for MC to touch him. Like, "Rub my back, MC. It's stiff after a long day of killing things." or "Brush my hair/tail. I'm too tired." I can also see Vere having days where he's just like no and just grabs MC's wrist to stop them so MC just has to back off until Vere gives the go ahead with one of his requests or another cue.

Ais and Leander:

Putting these two together bc I think they'd react about the same way overall. Ais would just include a little teasing. They're gonna enjoy it and ask no questions, but I can see these two mistaking some of the gestures as an ask for sex. Then MC has to explain that's not the intention; there are more ways to be close/loving that isn't sex. Their minds are blown, but they adjust accordingly. I think Ais would also pick up the habit of mimicking some of the gestures as well.

Ooooo this is tricky

Ais is very emotion-driven, but he’s not great at expressing those emotions.

He may try to do something classy for you (by Ocudeus’s command because I love that vision)

But it’s obvious he’s uncomfortable and unsure, so you have to tell him you’ll figure out how to celebrate (if you even want to) this day your own way and not what is socially expected.

He mainly just wants you. He wants time with you, to feel you, to hear you and most importantly, relax with you.

You quiet his mind, and so all he really wants is your presence.

Mainly all you do is cuddle, eat together, have a romantic sparing match 🥰✨ and maybe even take a nice bath together.

He loves having his hair washed by you—maybe he even forgets to do it sometimes due to those unseen battles you know he has—and ahh frick I forgot we have cursed hands.

Maybe you wash his hair with your toes idk.

Point is

It’s way more natural with you guys. A domestic routine that you slip so easily into.

It’s a day without any stress, and focused solely on the two of you taking care of each other.

Kuras

Another toughie!

I can’t decide if he has a hard time because he busies himself with work or since he’s had so many relationships since he’s immortal he knows to set aside that time

To make it easier for me let’s just say he busies himself.

He’s extremely hard on himself so I can picture him thinking he’s undeserving of even celebrating in the first place. (If we’re ignoring him making a cake for Mhin shshsh)

And maybe his heart is just tired.

He’s had lovers, he’s watched them go, and with you? You’re different to him somehow.

He doesn’t know if he should indulge in these feelings. If he can handle the heartbreak again.

Luckily you know Kuras well enough by now to see the guilt and doubt before it digs itself too deep.

With help from Ais, Mhin, and Leander (he inserted himself but also he’s a peacemaker between Ais and Mhin lmaohshs) you manage to convince Kuras to leave the clinic in those there’s hands and just focus on you two.

I like to think Kuras starts out more somber. He’s quiet. Only a small twitch to his brow warns of any building anxieties.

To set the scene more I kinda picture him like ?? As a calmer Julian Devorak in this situation ahshshs just in the way he’s like ‘do I deserve this?’

At one point you take his hands, “Kuras, Talk to me.”

He tries to deny it, to hide it gently and inconspicuously. But you know him. And the Angel can no longer hide his fear from you.

You take him somewhere quiet, where you can sit down and just enjoy each other’s company. Maybe you watch the sunset and like ?? You remind him that you aren’t going anywhere. Not now.

He spends more time just kinda cupping your cheeks, memorizing your face with caresses and soft touches.

When you get home, he wishes to memorize the rest of you too. If you have to become a memory one day, he wants it to be one that consumes him.

Vere

Thought this was gonna be tricky because vere is my ENEMY when it comes to these but !! I actually have a few ideas !!

Doesn’t see the point in sappy old VALENTINE’S DAY

Plot: You and the LI were messing around while at the Wet Wick’s bar and you decide to show them a little party trick you picked up some time ago. Curious they ask to see it and they watch as you take a stem from a cherry that was in your drink and put it in your mouth. After about a minute you take the stem out, now tied in a knot, and show it to them, smiling widely as you await their response.

Quick question, are you trying to kill him?

All he could do is stare at you with a look that could only be described as flushed

What was he supposed to do with this information? Seduce you? Ask you to do it again? Keep drinking and ignore all the very not-so-innocent thoughts flowing through his head?

He clears his throat and looks away, a very obvious redness on his face. "That was...very impressive MC, where'd you learn to do that?"

You tell him you got bored one day and decided to teach yourself how to do it

He nods, shooting down the rest of his glass before almost slamming it back on the counter

After a few more drinks, Ais takes a cherry from a small bowl and picks out the stem. You look at him confused for a moment before he just smirks at you and tosses it into his mouth

…guess he had other jokes too

After about a minute, he sticks out his tongue, the stem now resting on top of it

With his grin as wide as ever

Chuckling at your reaction, he takes the stem out, setting it right next to yours as he signals to the barkeep for another glass

But after she walks away, he turns to you for a moment, leaning over to whisper into your ear

"When we get out of here, let me show you some more magic tricks, hm?"

This angel doesn't drink, so whenever you're at the bar he pretty much just makes sure you're alright lol

He was standing next to you by the bar when you showed him the stem

His eyes went as wide as an owl, and it made you laugh so hard

He's seen many things in his life, being centuries years old, so he's probably seen a few people attempt to seduce him by using the old cherry stem trick

But it feels so...different when it comes from you?

He can't explain it well so don't ask him-

After about a few moments he just smiles and starts laughing, but not a full barking laugh more like a softer one

Doesn't really verbally say much about it, but you can tell he's having a lot of thoughts

Both of you just kinda sit in silence for a second as he’s just smirking

You watch as he grabs a nearby cherry, plucking the stem off and keeping very close eye contact with you as he placed it on his tongue

But unlike Ais, he has his mouth slightly open, giving you an almost clear view of exactly what he’s doing

Once he’s done, he takes the stem out, leaning in closer so you can feel his breath on yours, your noses touching

“How’s that for a trick?”

You swear he’s trying to kill you

Seeing your lack of response, his smirk widens

You know what they say, foxes are natural tricksters

Only this one has it bumped up to a 10

He leans back, continuing to sip on his drink while glancing at you every few seconds

You eventually stop daydreaming about some very not sfw things at that and start nursing your own glass again

But after a minute or so, you feel something soft yet prickly running up and down your legs

You looked at Vere, but he was just leisurely resting his arms against the counter as he swirled the alcohol around in its glass, paying no mind to you

But once you took your eyes off him, you didn’t notice the heavy look he gave you, all the while slowly inching his tail closer between your legs

Another one that doesn’t drink so they just stood there with their arms crossed watching you

Making sure you didn’t do anything idiotic of course totally not because they were worried about you being drunk in a place like this-

So when you said their name got their attention, the last thing they expected was to see you spitting out a stem that was now tied in a knot

I’ll be totally honest, they didn’t really know how to respond

On one hand, yea that’s pretty cool and a little hot but also, what in the seven hells?

So they just decided to look at you with a bewildered expression with their face getting redder by the second “

“Don’t…do that here.”

I hate to admit it but..tsundere

You laugh at them and go back to your drink, only this time purposely swirling your tongue around the rim before sipping again

You know, just to fuck with them

Of course this makes them automatically turn around and hide their growing red face from you

They did their best to get that image out of their head, not wanting to make it known that you had that kind of affect on them

But in the midst of that they heard snickering from one of the nearby tables, it was a group of guys that had been staring at you since you did that little stem trick of yours

And oh boy, was Mhin not happy

And totally not also jealous

So, you can definitely say you weren’t expecting Mhin to turn back around and grab you harshly by the shirt and kiss you

Of course you kissed them back though, quickly noticing the group of guys that had very awkwardly cleared their throats and talk amongst themselves

Once Mhin pulled back, they had a look of annoyance and almost possession in their eyes
