actors will be the characters name , their hero name will be the show character

chiyo shuzenji (recovery girl) is a retired nurse irl , whenever someone gets hurt on set she scolds them (lovingly) and grabs the first aid kit .

bakugo is inko & toshinori 's son .

since toshinori is a famous actor bakugo got a lot of backlash when casted at first . a lot of ppl would send him hate & say he only got casted bc his dad .

izuku & bakugo play bffs on a lot of diff shows & movies that when one gets a role u can just expect the other at this point .

izuku basically gets the tom holland treatment . they didnt know abt dabi / touya until a couple days b4 filming .

this was bc he actually spoiled bakugo getting kidnapped first . they were like "wait the episode doesnt come out for another 2 weeks ??" bakugo went insane .

Yamada Hizashi/Present Mic

Present Mic will gas you up. He’s so fucking proud of you. Like to the point this man is tearing up, he’s so proud. And he’s touched that you wanted to tell him. 

Immediate name and pronoun switch if you’ve decided to change those things. He’s great. He really doesn’t miss a beat; it takes him no time at all to get it right. He’ll hit you with the finger guns every time he sees you. 

Between being a teacher, a Pro Hero, and a radio show host, I think a lot of people come to him for advice, no matter how chaotic he is. He’s kind of an agony uncle to his students, so you can go to him if you need a listening ear. 

Aizawa Shouta/Eraserhead

Aizawa’s reaction is kind of the opposite of Mic’s. It’s not bad, it’s just very muted. He’s not the type to make a huge deal out of things. In some ways it’s kind of nice. He treats it like it’s completely normal. 

“Okay. Here’s the form we’ll need to fill to change your information on your Provisional License card. I can change your school records.”

He’s more than willing to act as a go-between for you when it comes to getting things set up officially. You’re one of his students and he’ll fight for you every step of the way. He can also get you a different school uniform if you want it.

Like Mic, he never slips up when it comes to any name or pronoun changes and he will coldly correct anyone who says otherwise. 

He shows a flicker of his softer side when he calls you to the office to hand over your new license card, and gives you a light pat on the shoulder. 

Yagi Toshinori/All Might

All Might is earnest, but isn’t as quick on the uptake. 

He’ll have a good baseline of LGBT+ matters but perhaps not the intricacies of it. You can explain it to him if you like, or just send him off to Aizawa or Mic who’ll put him straight. Failing that, he’ll go down an internet rabbit hole to find out what he needs to know.

That said, he’s a sweetheart about it. If he’s in his muscle form you’ll find yourself squished in a big meaty hug. 

I don’t think he’d misgender you, but he sometimes pauses before he uses your name or a pronoun and you can see he’s reminding himself. He frets about making a mistake, so he’s extra-careful.

Kind of an embarrassing, over-eager dad about it. He’s not quite there, but he’s got the spirit type of thing.

So I’m just gonna share them all on this one post instead of making a million new fandom posts out of nowhere (ok, it’s closer to, like, ten - but still!)

Fae courts AU

Nedzu - Spring King

U.A. / The Spring Court - also known as the Court of Lost Children, all members of the Court were once human children or children of one of the other Courts and they view it as their duty to care for the lost, neglected, and abused children of the world (one of two child stealing Courts)

All Might - Summer King

All For One - Winter King

Objectively, the Summer and Winter Courts are not as different as they like to believe - a Summer fae is just as likely to trick or turn on you as a Winter fae, they just prefer to play at benevolence while Winter fae make no secret of their nature

Shie Hassaikai / The Autumn Court - used to be more like a lesser version of the Summer and Winter Courts, until Overhaul put the King to sleep and made his research into humanity the Court’s focus - they’re now the second child stealing Court

Eraserhead was once human but has made enough deals over the years - most notably with Nezu himself - that he’s practically fae now

Deku and Kachan are human children who were taken in by the Spring Court, though Deku only after catching the attention of All Might

Endeavor - High Fae in the Summer Court - wants to become Summer King but knows he’s not powerful enough to overthrow All Might, married a High Winter Fae in hopes that combining their powers would make one of their kids powerful enough

Dabi fakes his death and eventually becomes a High Fae in the Winter Court

Shouto seeks sanctuary in the Spring Court’s halls

(I don’t actually have a plot for it, but I’m enjoying figuring out the world and stuff)

Evil All Might AU

The underworld knows that young Yagi Toshinori is a con-artist, and a very good one

The kid’s quirkless, and from a bad neighborhood, so of course he gets involved in shady dealings to get by

But he never ever gets caught

See, he’s mastered the eager, innocent, “I know I’m quirkless, but it’s my dream to be a hero! To fight crime! To be someone people can look up to, put their faith in! To be a… a symbol!” act, he’s been running that con any time he’s found in the wrong place at the wrong time since he first started walking - no one with even a single good bone in their body ever questions it

He gets involved with AFO, who’s like “I could give you one of my lesser quirks in exchange for your loyalty, or you could do a long undercover mission for me and get one of the most powerful quirks in existence out of it”

His mission: pulling his signature con on Shimura Nana, being given One for All, becoming a hero, becoming the Number One Hero and Symbol of Peace and the singular pillar holding up hero society, maintaining that status for long enough that everyone grows a little complacent, finding a weak and manipulable child to pass One for All on to, setting them up to fail, and then retiring

(I’d either have this one be All Might-focused and end with the reveal, or have it be Izuku-focused and give it a happy ending where All Might totally chose the wrong kid, cause nothing about Izuku is weak)

Commission analyst Izuku au

Member of the commission overhears him muttering/catches a glance at his notebook while watching a hero fight, strikes up a conversation

The commission tracks him down, shows up at his home with a similar offer to the one they gave Hawks - but instead of a hero they want him to be an analyst for them

Like Hawks, they take away his name, only calling him something like Eagle Eye or something (I’d go with Hawkeye but Hawks already exists so it might be weird?)

(Basically this fic idea is just an excuse to have Izuku and Hawks as the ultimate team, and helping each other get out from under the commission’s thumb - maybe revolutionizing hero society along the way)

Canon rewrite w/ Monoma as main character, somehow

All I have for this one so far is just:

Monoma copies afo, uses copied afo to steal afo, AFO is now defeated

After getting better at controlling her quirk, Eri rewinds Kurogiri back into Shirakumo Oboro

But he’s the age he was when he died

So he joins the current class 2-A

As in Izuku’s class

Basically it’s just his old best friends having to teach him and him making friends with all Aizawa’s problem children

Time travel

(I have multiple cause I really like time travel)

Aizawa-centric time loop fic

Loop stretching from day before Oboro’s death to towards the end of the liberation war (diverging from canon in at least the first loop cause he fucking dies during the fight)

At first he thinks maybe he just, like, dreamt up those 14(?) years

But then things are happening the same way and so he starts changing things and he dies and wakes up the day before Oboro’s death again

He experiments a lot with the loops, figuring out that they’re definitely not time based - unless it’d loop back at the end of the liberation war even if he survives? Requires further testing

Shimura Tenko being taken in by All for One, All Might’s injury(?), Izuku accepting One for All, and more I haven’t fully decided on

Time travel fic where Pro Hero Deku accidentally time travels back to just before Aizawa’s first year as a student at ua and somehow gets hired as a teacher

Gonna be a two-parter

Part one: Izuku has to teach teen versions of his old high school teachers, channels their future selves a little

Part two: Aizawa, Yamada, and Kayama have to teach the teen version of their old favorite high school teacher, and end up channeling his future self - in different ways

(I’ve come across a couple different “Izuku gets accidentally sent back in time to when his teachers were students” fanfics and they keep making me think about how Aizawa & co would react to meeting him in canon timeline after meeting him in high school and then I took the natural step forward from there to “let’s parallel their nostalgia, make him their high school teacher so it can really hit hard”)

Izuku is related to rooftop trio aus

(I’ve come across a bunch of “Izuku is the biological son of at least one member of the rooftop trio” aus but only one acknowledges that in canon he’s only 15 years younger than them and that one has a very angsty explanation, so I wanted some that fit with canon and also aren’t too heavy - cause like, sure you could go with the complex extremely angsty trauma reason or you could go with the “these 13-16-year-olds(idk Inko’s canon age and as long as I never look it up I can pretend I’m not going against canon by making her only 2-ish years older than them) did what teenagers do and went to a party and made some relatively innocent mistakes and ended up with a pregnancy”)

Dadoro

Oboro and Inko have been neighbors and best friends their whole childhood, despite being a couple years separated in age

The fall before Oboro starts high school, Inko takes him along to a party with her high school friends

They get drunk and sleep together

Inko gets pregnant

They talk it through with each other and their families and agree to keep the baby (they’re both actually pretty excited to be parents) and raise it together platonically

Some months into first year (maybe second), Oboro tells his friends about his kid

Spends the rest of his life gushing about Izuku to all his friends (sorry for the word choice fjdhshshx)

Oboro dies and his friends make pact to help Inko take care of Izuku once they have steady income and stuff

But Inko’s family has moved and she’s married and they can’t find her

They keep searching, for roughly 14 years

And then Midoriya Izuku enrolls in UA’s hero course and his big green eyes and curly green hair match the pictures Oboro used to show them and his smile is identical to their old friend’s

And his mom’s name is Inko

But they’re not sure (His quirk doesn’t match Oboro’s nor his Inko’s after all)

Not until after the first term and the summer training disaster camp and Kamino, when All Might and Aizawa go house to house talking to parents about the dorms and All Might tries to insist on visiting the Midoriyas alone but Aizawa insists right back cause this is the closest he’s come to confirmation

and then he’s face to face with a woman he’s only ever seen in photographs

And then they talk about everything or something idk I haven’t got that far

Dadzawa and Dadmic (trans!aizawa)

A year and a half before he starts high school(I know I changed the timeline a whole year here but shush, how’s he supposed to get into U.A.’s hero course while pregnant?), Aizawa’s middle school and one or two others have a Joint Event, at which he meets a loud but cute blonde who keeps flirting with him

They hook up

He gets pregnant

His dad insists he get an abortion but he doesn’t want to and his mom supports his decision, they convince his dad to let him go through with the pregnancy on the condition that he gives the baby up for adoption immediately

He has twins, both boys (one with green eyes like the blonde’s(but darker) and the other with purple like Shouta’s mother’s)(that’s right, Shinsou is also their son in this, you’re welcome), and he gives them up for adoption to separate families

But with conditions

No one from his blood family is allowed to initiate contact with either boy without the kid’s knowing consent (he’s terrified of his father changing his mind, tracking them down, and hurting them)

With the one exception being that he’s allowed to send each one a birthday present and card every year

Which he does

Then he starts at UA and then gets into the hero course and there he is… the blonde… the father of Shouta’s children… who does not recognize him now that he’s started transitioning

This time Shouta’s the one who flirts - or tries to, the kid’s a little too oblivious

Of course they do eventually get together, and even end up married! (Haven’t decided if they get together during high school or after they start teaching there or what(probably the latter, for plot reasons))

The first time Midoriya Inko contacts Shouta is after Izuku is diagnosed quirkless - she knows the young man loves her son as much as she does and might be able to reassure him where she already failed

His next birthday, Izuku’s mystery card says he can be a hero even without a quirk; it makes Izuku’s year

Hitoshi’s parents also contact Shouta that year, the boy struggling to make and keep friends ever since his quirk came in; Shouta’s birthday card to him isn’t much different from Izuku’s, really

The Shinsous get in an accident and Hitoshi is placed in foster care and suddenly Shouta can’t send him his yearly gift and card anymore cause nobody will tell him where the boy is now because of the contact portion of the adoption contract

They also won’t tell Hitoshi that he was adopted and his birth father is out there looking for him, so Shouta’s pretty sure they’re trying to hide that he’s being mistreated wherever he is

Inko continues to contact Shouta now and then whenever she thinks Izuku will need extra encouragement come his birthday (she never tells Izuku about being adopted - even after he enters his teen years - cause after his diagnosis, everyone but her left him and she doesn’t want him to internalize the idea that his birth parents didn’t want him - Shouta’s not happy with the decision, but he understands)

Then one year he sends Izuku a Present Mic figurine and she writes him to share how excited the boy was and how Present Mic is one of his favorite heroes and he listens to his radio show all the time and Shouta simultaneously melts and has a minor breakdown at the realization that he hasn’t told his husband that they have sons, he can’t tell Hizashi that their son listens to his radio show regularly when Hizashi doesn’t know Izuku even exists

So of course, being the rational man he is, he finally tells Hizashi about Izuku and Hitoshi

Hizashi freaks, of course (in a good way(mostly))

And then, one of the worst days of Shouta’s life

He’s on patrol and sees a figure on a rooftop and rushes to get there - just in case it’s a jumper - and it’s his son, his Izuku

They talk(it doesn’t breach the adoption contract, he didn’t know it was Izuku when he approached and the kid spoke first) and Izuku tells him “everything” about his encounter with All Might, Shouta tells him to tell his parents - they’re there to support him - and also that All Might’s full of shit and a quirkless hero is totally possible with the right training and enough willpower

Then after they leave the rooftop his kid gets in trouble again, rushing in to save a classmate from the same sludge villain that attacked him earlier that day

Of course Shouta swoops in and pulls the kids out of danger before All Might arrives to “save the day”

This time Shouta insists on walking Izuku home to make sure he actually gets there safely

But then All Might shows up again wanting to talk to his kid privately and he wants to tell the man to fuck off but he’s not legally allowed, really, so when Izuku says it’s fine he reluctantly leaves

Inko asks to meet him just days later

She tells him that Izuku told her everything about what happened that day - including what Shouta told him - and she tells him that she’s realized she needs to properly support her son in pursuing his dream

She understands that Shouta wouldn’t feel comfortable training him one-on-one with the kid not knowing who they are to each other, and she’s still not ready to tell him yet, so she asks for a list, for him to help her get in touch with people who can train Izuku or ways for Izuku to train on his own, ways for her to help

He puts her in contact with seven pro heroes (Midnight, Gunhead, the Wild Wild Pussycats, and - somehow - Sir Nighteye) and a vigilante team (the Naruhata Crawler and his team), all of whom he talks into helping - and has to tell about his connection to this boy they’ll be teaching

(Each have something important to teach him: Midnight - using words and body language to throw off opponents, Gunhead - martial arts, Wild Wild Pussycats - stamina, teamwork and use of your environment when out in nature, Sir Nighteye - analysis and planning, the Naruhata Vigilantes - use of gadgets and weapons, use of your environment when in the city, having the heart of a hero, and - most importantly - that quirkless people can be fucking strong and skilled and terrifying and certainly aren’t weak or useless (they were trained by a quirkless vigilante after all, they’re bound to have a different perspective on the idea of a quirkless hero than anyone else, a perspective Izuku could really benefit from))

Ten months later, Izuku passes UA’s entrance exam and is placed in Shouta’s class (he’s pretty sure Nezu did that on purpose)

When the school year starts, he and Hizashi discover that Izuku isn’t the only one in one of their classes - Hitoshi is in Hizashi’s homeroom

They are, of course, fucking extatic

They just need to, y’know, figure out how to tell him that they’re his parents and maybe possibly would love custody of him if he wants

Alright so first, i know i don't have anywhere near a big enough following for anyone to give a shit abt my opinion, buut idgaf.

So, for those of you who don't know, in the latest chapter of My Hero Academia, the character Mineta Minoru supposedly came out as bi

You may be wondering why i say "supposedly". That would be largely due to the fact that I've seen multiple people who speak Japanese claim this is a mistranslation, which I am inclined to believe.

In the panel above, Mineta is talking to the protagonist of the series, Midorya Izuku (a guy).

Now that we've got context out of the way, fuck this shit. And fuck people like this jackass:

Oh wait more context is needed. Why can the person who made the Tik Tok above get fucked? Because the message they were going with, or at least my interpretation of what they were saying, is that we should just accept any LGBTQIA+ rep we can get, with no regard for the quality. This is also what leads me to believe that they are not a part of the LGBT community, and therefore not qualified to tell us what good rep even looks like. I might be wrong, but i found no evidence to suggest i am.

But where *does* the queer rep lie in terms of quality? Well, let's go down the list.

According to the mfer who made the tik tok, there are 7 queer characters in MHA; 1 gay man, 3 bi people, and 3 trans people

In the TikTok they create immediately after the one linked above, OP claims that it would be extremely obvious that Aoyama is gay in any medium other than anime, and while they *are* right in that aspect, they then claim that this automatically means that Aoyama is canonically gay. That is incorrect, which means our Canon Queers tally is down to 6.

Now for the three bi people.

Up first is obviously Mineta, then Toga Himiko and finally Toshinori Yagi, AKA All Might (spoiler alert, All Might is not a canon bisexual)

Wether he actually is or not, Mineta is disgustingly bad bi representation in that he is a raging pervert who has sexually assaulted all but one of his female classmates on multiple occasions. For those who don't get it, Mineta being bi perpetuates the negative and incorrect stereotype that bi people are hypersexual pervs by virtue of their sexuality.

Now for Toga, who, despite also being terrible bi rep, is my favorite character. "But why is Toga bad rep?" I hear you asking. Well for one she's a villain, which right off the bat villainizes bi people. But don't worry, it gets worse! It gets worse in her reason for being a villain, that being that she gets off on killing people. Yeah this is a shitshow.

So far the two canonically bi characters we have are abnormal freaks that aren't entirely fit to interact with society. Going great.

As for All Might he has no canon sexuality, and while it *is* heavily implied he was in relationships with two male colleagues prior to the beginning of the series, this is far from canonization of anything.

Now for the trans characters (spoiler alert 2: electric boogaloo: only one is explicitly canon out of the two that are actual characters)

First up, Tiger of the Wild, Wild Pussycats. As can be seen in the second image, he is in fact canonically trans. Surprisingly, he isn't the explicitly canon one. How? Because the second image is pulled from a character encyclopedia separate from the actual series, and as far as I'm concerned, any time you have to find materials outside the actual series, that is not explicitly canon (that's not to say im denying that tiger's trans. He is.)

Now for the explicitly canon of the two actual trans characters, Magne. A villain. So, again, villifying a queer identity. Oh yeah, and the episode we find out she's trans is the same one in which she fucking dies. Specifically blown in half. It also doesn't look particularly good for Horikoshi that her quirk is based around gender.

And now for this dumbassery. This is a friend of Magne's, another trans woman. Or rather, an absolute caricature of one, who is barely even a character, as evidenced by the fact that she is unnamed and only appears once.

So, let's go back to our tally of Canon Queer Characters

Aoyama and All Might aren't canonically queer so that brings our count down to 5. Still not bad for an anime.

As for quality of queet rep, it's pathetic.

Two bi characters, both freaks

Two trans characters, one of whom you could watch the entire series and not know is trans, and the other is dead.

And, of course, one trans caricature.

You often feel inferior to others, as you feel like they’re so much more well adjusted than you. Probably got talked over a lot in school. 

You’re probably the mom friend! Always looking out and taking care of others, but you often neglect yourself.

I have a feeling that you’re a chaotic good: You say f*ck the rules, if it means doing what’s right. Probably would dive into traffic to save a box of puppies.

toshinori — all might — had declined to do do any sort of press conference or big public appearance in the wake of his retirement. he didn’t feel it was necessary, and he wanted to keep his life as private as before. AS MUCH AS HE COULD, ANYWAY.

so why now? they all must assume he’s finally ready to talk about what happened in kamino, and what’s to become of the world now that it no longer has its symbol of peace. and they’re right about one thing — it is time for him to open up.

“um — thank you all for being here.” he seems so different now. for most, this is their first time seeing him since that night on tv. “i assure you, however strange this seems to you, it’s twice so for me.” a little nervous laugh, and he rubs the back of his neck. he’s brushed out his bang, only a slight wave to them now, and his hair, normally so poofy in the back, has been tied up in a high ponytail. taking a page out of aizawa’s book, it seems.

“i wanted to speak to you all about something very personal and important to me. over the last twenty-five years as your symbol of peace, i’ve shared much of my life with you all. and it’s been an honor to be a part of your lives, and to serve you. 

“but there are many more things i have not disclosed to the public. the man you know as all might — that has always been me. truly, and authentically. but i keep my personal life private, not for my own safety, but for the security of the people in it. there are dangers that come with being a hero. you all have seen them first hand. and sometimes, those dangers extend to our friends and family as well.

“however, i’m not here to talk about kamino ward. this is... something else, which i —” he glances offstage, seeming to make eye contact with someone not visible to any of the cameras trained on him. he gives a tight smile, which widens as he turns back out to face the gathered audience. “today marks the beginning of transgender awareness week. and for the first time, i stand before you to tell the world that i, all might, am trans.”

a roar erupts from the crowd, shouts and murders of confusion and surprise, anger and support. it all blurs together for toshinori, making his head spin. he closes his eyes briefly, and grips the edges of the podium until his knuckles turn white.

when the noise dies down, he continues.

"this has been my life since i was in middle school. for my three years at ua, it was a well-kept secret. i was afraid to tell anyone, for fear i would be treated differently. not seen to be as capable. i did not want anyone to see me as anything other than the symbol of peace. there have been many times throughout my career where i wanted to be public about my life, my experience. i was.... in a position of privilege. i knew i should be using that to amplify the voices of other trans people, by using myself as a different kind of symbol. but i knew that for better or for worse, it would take over the media. everything i worked so hard to prevent in high school would simply happen during the height of my career instead. and i never wanted this to be part of my image. i’m not ashamed. far from it. but i needed the world to view me only as the symbol of peace. i needed every single citizen to believe in me, to trust that i fulfill my promise to society. and i knew that for many people, that faith would waver.

and then all to soon its over, and he returns to normal, the cape falling over his shoulders like an oversizes blanket. he grips the edges like it might bring him some security. it’s a reminder that he’s just a man. someone special, yes, but only human, like everyone else.

“that’s all. thank you, for allowing me to share this with you. i feel...” he turns his face up to the sky and smiles. despite the sharp angles of his face, everything about him seems soft now, and serene. something the world has rarely seen from all might. “so happy.” oh there he goes again, getting choked up. a hand quickly raises to wipe at his eyes.

“i’ll... take questions, now. i’m sure you have them. no—” he turns again to the person standing offstage. “i’m fine.” back to the crowd. “ask anything you want.”

so dabi (touya) is a previous figure skater

he’s a figure skating prodigy 

enji was a pro hockey player (id say figure skating but this man was BUILT like a brick shithouse idk man) has a lot of championships under his belt but doesnt even begin to touch the legacy of his one sided rival yagi toshinori

him and rei meet and marry at a young age. she like.. actually liked him then?? shit was kinda okay but things kinda.... got bad quick. the abuse etc was ... yeah. she ends up having dabi and fuyumi (they’re twins babeyy) at a young age too and kinda doesnt feel like she can get out of her horrible marriage 

we wont dwell too much on the bad part of all of this though. anyway rei was a figure skater

p well known and known for her fucking GRACE god she moved so well on the ice.

she was so beautiful and spoke through her movements and enji loved that... and so as a hockey player and with a (now previous) figure skater wife he was like aight my kids WILL take up an ice sport and be the FUCKING BEST

dabi isnt made for hockey. enji tries to get him into it but it’s... nah... fuyumi isnt the best with figure skating. she’s good!! and her and dabi do some pair skating when they’re younger but it’s.. hm. dabi is the one with the clear talent here. (fuyumi is a beast on the ice when it comes to hockey though. will dominate. but she kinda... didnt really continue with it)

enji isnt PLEASED that his son isnt gunna be a hockey player but he still values figure skating and will fucking make sure he’s the BEST at it. and so the brutal training starts. he gets some good coaches and also takes up the coaching mantle 

the thing is.. rei was amazing as a skater but her body just... wasnt really made for all of that??? and dabi unfortunately kinda inherited that. his body hates the impacts and such. he’s amazing at figure skating. he has a grace similar to his mothers but there’s something more fierce to him. 

and honestly !!! he gets far!!

also natsuo comes around. he’s a bit too clumsy for either sport and resents the fact that him and fuyumi are neglected by their father. he also loves touya and gets so pissed seeing his brother so hurt

and shouto is born and this kid was made to be on the ice. he’s skating from the moment he can fucking stand on his own.

obvs enji’s attention is split but it’s mainly on touya who is winning championships and GOING places but it’s still not good enough

anyway idk how far he goes?? but it’s the biggest competition yet and on ice mid routine he lands wrong

one thing leads to the next and he’s pretty much medically retired from a young age. he can skate. he can still kinda preform but he cant do what he used to at ALL and he cant keep up with the brutal pace enji sets. there’s a lot of trying to push him still and it’s just.. not happening

for all it’s worth dabi is kinda glad he isnt doing it anymore. but he fears for his babies brother. shouto is a natural and while yes being a professional athlete of any sort is brutal on your body, his body is a lot more capable

but like touya before, shouto is pushed to his absolute limits. bleeding and injuries and puking his guts out from being pushed too far

there’s a lotta resentment but he still pushes through w skating. 

(side note but there DEF is some todomido/tododeku w hockey player izuku who ends up being coached by THE yagi toshinori and who helps shouto out w making shit his own)

anyway so in the end dabi ends up working at a rink tho lol

it’s p much owned by shigarai and run by the lov (who in this au end up making their own little ragtag unofficial local hockey team p much and play games against other teams like them)

despite his father’s whole career, dabi does enjoy playing hockey with these dipshits

but yeah he enjoys his time working at the rink, fucking around and sleeping in random places and sometimes running the zamboni

he’s also best frenemies with shigaraki. they get along and both deal with a shitty upbringing and despite some slight animosity they both would kill if someone fucked w the other 

(also at some point dabi DEF teaches some little kid classes lol)

also dabi does sometimes skate his own routines from time to time. only when he’s alone really. though fuyumi has a pass to be there though he will gripe still

now there is a couple ways to go with this and somewhere in me there is an au with hockey player hawks who takes skating lessons from figure skater dabi BUT

i think for this au we’ll just say he was a figure skater from the get go

i think he WANTED to do hockey as a kid. like shouto he’s also a fucking natural and was skating as soon as he could fucking stand and walk. and he looked up to enji and kinda wanted to take up hockey but 

listen,,, trans hawks. who wanted to be like todoroki enji and be a pro hockey player. shit just.. didnt work like that though and besides he’s a tiny dude and god he’d be fucking obliterated 

he kinda is self taught and the ice is his escape from his shitty home life

idk how this works but listen gotta tie in the commission somehow???

he’s scouted or whatever for figure skating at a very young age and his mom is happy to take the heavy scholarships and happy to sign him over to skate for these ppl and have them push him to be The Best

and this kid is FAST. he’s fast and is insane with his jumps and stg it almost looks like he’s FLYING (which gets him the nickname hawks)

the coaches are brutal and shit sucks and a lot of the time it kinda sucks the life out of the sport but he still enjoys it

he has a love for outfits that legit have flare to them (also im thinking of johnny weir’s one outfit w the feathers but yknow instead of white they are RED) and while he does do routines to boring ass music he mainly likes doing shit different (also dabi was p much forced the whole time to do shit to that boring ass music but on his own he’d use his own music taste to skate to)

and he’s good!! he GOES places. he’s like makes it to the olympics at a young age and is one of THE youngest gold medalists for figure skating

im sure somewhere along the line him and dabi DID meet. it was at some competition and hawks was VIBRATING bc there’s ENJI and he wants and autograph and oH GOD IS THAT HIS SON??? he’s HOT. (and at this time dabi still had his red hair and like no piercings and what little ones he had they were out but this dumbass will not recognize him later on)

but god he needs to chill TF out or he will fuck up in the competition 

he hears about dabi’s whole accident and like feels for him but again it’s not like they were friends. there was more of a slight rivalry and they barely spoke if they did

but so idk like.. between seasons hawks finds himself going like nearly every day to this rink.. aka shigaraki’s rink (also sidenote but lbr it’s really run by shirakumo who kinda has to fucking herd the cats w this group)

as frenemies dabi and shigaraki share their distaste for some of these pro athletes (tho some get a pass) and kinda complain about hawks a bit tho like..... shigaraki cant complain TOO much bc of the money from hawks renting out the rink for a few hours almost every day

dabi is too gay for this shit when he actually sees hawks in action. rip him 

tbh they dont really interact tho (besides dabi telling him to gtfo the rink or he’ll run him over with the zamboni) until one day that hawks catches dabi skating

but before that dabi did like tell him some shit. mainly about like how he used to skate blah blah and the whole thing that ended all of that

he doesnt really delve too deep into like his shitty childhood until well later

idk what leads to it but the convo finally comes up and it’s so draining for dabi and hawks is horrified and ready to fight his dad (“listen i just sharpened my skates i’ll just-”)

anyway some side things bc this is long and i will answer questions on this tho

rumi is a women’s pro hockey player and fuyumi who actually follows hockey and shit has the BIGGEST crush on her (they end up together)

also natsuo comes to see one of the leagues games (he hasnt really seen them play tbh?? he hears about it from dabi but he lives like at least a few hours away on campus and is going for med school so rip him) and like he meets shigaraki and anyway dabi is losing his FUCKING MIND bc his best frenemy/boss and his younger brother are FLIRTING. RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM???

dabi and hawks are really gay together and have skated together by this point and made out on ice a few times and shigaraki was miserable and is like “NOW U KNOW!!” and dabi is pissed bc “yEAH BUT THAT”S MY LITTLE BROTHER??? IT”S NOt thE SAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
