Just my opinion, but I don’t actually think Shouma’s feelings for Yoshino are romantic or sexual in nature. More like queerplatonic. Same with Yoshino towards him.

Idk, how they interact with each other just reminds me a lot of how I interacted with a close guy friend back in high school. We were super, super close back then, cared for each other like family, and even very cuddly with each other, to the point people thought we were dating, but for both of us it was just platonic.

And I’m saying all this not to say that Shouma’s love for Yoshino is less compared to Kirishima’s romantic feelings. I just think it’s neat that the second male lead’s queerplatonic feelings are given just as much weight as the main male lead’s romantic feelings.

I’m still on team Kirishima, though, because complex characters are more fun to read. But hey, I’m fine if all three of them get together as well. (Like, it was really sweet of Kirishima to entrust his girl’s safety to Shouma when he couldn’t do it himself. I’d like to see more of that.)
