I just recently rewatched NWH and I couldn't help but think Raimi Venom would have fit better than Sandman. Flint made his peace with Peter and didn't die fighting him. Eddie on the other hand...

Okay so, I know a lot of us have been hyping over Venom the last dance, but to anyone that cares. A early version of the church scene in animatic form has been found, with the dialogue being originally from the novel. This has been lost media for years now so I was super excited when I saw this for the first time. Storyboards done by Ryan Woodward.

if theres ever a more comic-accurate venom live action character idt many would do it justice. he has to look like a beefcake w a bad haircut. look like a himbo & act like one when it comes to bad decisions and drawing the wrong conclusions on his behaviour but his vocabulary is large and he's curious to do research.

he's wrathful and petty and enjoys letting go of his desires to kill people that piss him off, while the sin of lying (whether telling one or hearing one) normally puts him off completely. he's terribly shameless and bordering on a nudist. he's considered sexy and women in the comics that don't rly know him want to be with him and he's completely disinterested for decades in the stories besides calling them pretty too at most. him and his other are often a toxic relationship but them being separate is even more of a problem to the world. he's fucking terrible in communicating and boundaries and should never ever attempt another romantic relationship besides w/ his other.

he's not catholic anymore atp in the comics but religious allegories and references often come back in some form. he thinks he's very careful about protecting innocents and especially children but brutally murders guys in front of kids and traumatizes many. he loves his symbiote as both another person and as a part of themselves as one person combined. he's both intimidating but delicate.

he's commonly homeless, protects the homeless, but on occasion ate homeless people and as venom loses his care for them when hungry. eddie is implied to not own a shower and stink, while his other smells like a wet sock according to sleeper. he protects squatters but not thieves - unless he hears them out. he does anything to live except if risking dying means reuniting w/ his other. he's so strong as a human on his own that he can take on street level superhuman enemies. he looks tough and menacing but hates bullies. he did stalk peter parker though. he has to look macho but not in a straight way.

i like both tom hardy's and topher grace's ver of eddie bc at least both took several defining elements of his character and did those well. i feel like when a franchise were to cast a truly huge muscley guy for the role they would make his personality just stereotypically macho or some shit.

Hello, once again part 2 is finally out! You might of notice that the art style or mostly coloring style has changed, again still trying to figure out how I want this comic to look and all. Overall hope you enjoy part 2. c:

Also, special thanks to @kitausuret for the joke idea on page 8 it's probably one of my favourite scenes so far that I have drawn. Another thanks is to my boyfriend @alexhedgefox that helped with some slight dialogue change on page 6.

Overall still trying to figure out how I want the story to go and so on but never the less it has been fun to work on so far.

Random fun fact: This took around 5 months to be made I finished the first page on the 17th of April and finished the last page on the 17th of August. Kinda funny how they both ended on both the letter A and the number 17. xD

(At some point this will be updated with better art and dialogue.)
