I can't believe this year is already just about over... 2023 has been huge for me in terms of fandom and in real life spaces. This was my first full year publicly out as queer, and it felt at times like the rest of the world was kinda celebrating with me. I made so many new fandom friends and got a lot more involved with the things I'm passionate about. I joined 5 fandom discord servers, beta'd more than a few fics, cheer-read a few others, and participated in 4 fanfiction events. I spent most of the year whining about how I can't get any writing done, but apparently I wrote and posted more fics this year than in 2020, 2021, and 2022 combined! I wrote nearly 50,000 words this year. Thank you to everyone who supported me, encouraged me, laughed and cried with me, or spent time with me in any capacity. I cherish you all.
Anyway, now for the part people actually want lol- here are the 6 fics I published in 2023:
Embers Barely Showing (Proof of Life in the Shadows)
Pairing: Steve/Bucky Rated: M Word Count: <1k Summary: Steve freezes in the doorway. He makes himself breath slowly and deeply, and he takes a moment to get his heart rate back to normal before addressing the man holding a gun to his temple. “Buck, it’s me." // Steve comes home while Bucky is having a dissociative episode.
Judged By The Cover (collab w/ @louikazooie)
Pairing: Steve/Bucky Rated: E Word Count: 32k Summary: Bucky Barnes, award-winning romance novelist, is dismayed to learn that his publisher is sending him on a book tour with Steve Rogers, a fantasy author who recently topped the NY Times Bestseller list for his first and only romance novel and Bucky’s personal authorial adversary. As they’re sent off to spend several months touring 50 US cities together, they’ll attempt to overcome their differences and leave the past behind them… maybe they’ll even find love.
The Hazards of Falling in Love (Rescue Me)
Pairing: Steve/Tony Rated: T Word Count: 4k Summary: “So that’s your name?” Rogers hasn't looked away from him once. His eyes are a piercing blue, and Tony barely manages to keep from squirming under his gaze. “Yeah. Or Telecommunications Operator Stark, if we’re getting technical about it.” “Are we?” Tony tilts his head slightly. “Depends. Can I call you Steve?” The man grins. “Wouldn’t have it any other way, Tony.” // Tony Stark doesn't date firemen. But he'll make an exception for Battalion Chief Steve Rogers.
Promises, Promises
Pairing: FirstPrince Rated: E Word Count: 1k Summary: “Works for me. Let me get undress-” Henry stops him with a hand over his. “Slow down, love. I’m going to make you listen to me for once.” “Oh my god,” Alex whispers, seemingly unintentionally. // Alex breaks his promise of a work-free trip. Henry gives him just what he deserves.
Should History Forget Us
Pairing: Steve/Bucky/Tony Rated: E Word Count: est 15k (WIP) Summary: War is over for the kingdom of Starkholde, and King Anthony's knights have returned home at long last. With peacetime comes many changes... as well as its own dangers. Through joy, through pain, through fear, through love- Steve, Bucky, and Tony must navigate the shifting tides together and make their mark on history.
StarDads Secret Santa 2023
Pairing: Din/Luke **This fic is part of a gift exchange and creator reveals are not until after the new year. I'll post the link to my fic once it's available, but for now, the whole collection is linked here.

Golden Triangle Tour: The Golden Triangle of India is a tourist circuit in India.
The tourism footprint in India is growing, and it's no surprise that the densest concentrations of these footprints are in Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. If you calculated the shortest distance between these three points, you'd get an imaginary triangle in the middle of the country. As a result, it's known as the Golden Triangle. Are you visiting India for the first time? Most tour operators, including Travelogy India, recommend the Golden Triangle for an India 101 experience. The following are the top recommended Golden Triangle Tour packages
Golden triangle tour 3 Days Golden triangle tour 4 Days Golden triangle tour 6 Days
Tumblr media
What is Golden Triangle Tour?
It is one among modern India's well-trodden and well-explored paths. The schedule for the Golden Triangle includes trips in Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. The journey includes famous Indian architectural wonders, Rajasthan sites, and natural wonders. Begin your tour by exploring Delhi. Visit the Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Humayun Tomb, Lodi Garden, and other Mughal-era structures built of red sandstone and marble. Later, go to Agra to witness the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri, and other sights. Later, go to the Rajasthan desert region to visit the imperial city of Jaipur, which features palaces, forts, the Jantar Mantar, markets, and much more.
What to do in the Golden Triangle?
So, what's so great about three random locations that form an imagined triangle? On the map, it is simple to select four locations and form a square. Would that make the square more interesting? Not always. Furthermore, the Golden Triangle is not just three random sites that are famous for the form their locations make on a map. What's inside those destinations is what makes the Golden Triangle spectacular.
Delhi - Infusing exquisiteness into Islamic life
Walk through the streets of Old Delhi to enter a virtual time machine and travel back several centuries. The old havelis, market squares, and cobblestone alleys live up to the title "Old." What else can Delhi offer you besides some ancient monuments? Because Delhi is the country's capital, it is connected to nearly all of the country's locations. Within Delhi, you may experience the culture of the entire country, whether it's through performance arts, cuisine, festivals, or shopping.
Agra - The Mughal, Marble, and Marvel Capital
The Taj Mahal, a polished marble mausoleum known for its carvings, structural beauty, and use of semi-precious stones in construction, is the crown gem of all Indian architecture. Once you've finished photographing the Taj Mahal and have filled your memory disc, it's time to move on to other elite Mughal landmarks such as Agra Fort, Baby Taj, Akbar's Tomb, and many more. Fatehpur Sikhri, the abandoned capital city of the Mughal Empire, is another reminder of the Mughal Empire.
Jaipur is a fortified city with hidden temples.
This is a fortified city. Starting at City Palace, you can go on a history walking tour of palaces and forts. The craggy terrain of Aravalli hills with a hint of desert view provides this place a majestic appearance. Immerse yourself in Jaipur's attractions such as Amber Fort, Nahargarh Fort, Shri Jagatshironmani Temple, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, and many more.

June 11th - Himeji-jo
Tumblr media
I could not sleep too much last night, so I did some laundry at like 3 in the morning, after going out with Chelsea, Julie, Casey, Nico, and Sam. After that I woke up at 7:45ish and went straight downstairs for 8:00 breakfast. The American breakfast is pretty bad in comparison to Japanese breakfast, I can’t lie. After showering, doing a quiz, and going to class, the group headed to Kyoto station for a two hour train ride to the castle town of Himeji. The ride offered beautiful views of the water. After getting there around noon, most of us guys (Nico, Xander, Sebastian, Sam, Bryce, Vishnu, and I) headed to an Indian restaurant near the train station. Everyone really liked it, but I did not think it was as good as the first place we went to in Tokyo. Sam also got a really upset stomach afterwards, so much so that he couldn’t fully tour the castle. I’m not sure if many people liked this castle because it was on top of a hill and we had a lot of climbing to do, but I thought the white color of the castle was particularly unique and I found that the architecture and interior design of the rooms was simple, yet clean as they contrasted the white walls with dark wooden floors and rock structures. The castle also offered beautiful views of the surrounding town, and we took several pics. I was really hoping there was a rooftop bar once I got to the top of all those stairs, because a drink with those views would have been amazingThere was also a well nearby that had a ghost story about a woman who had been thrown down there after breaking one of her master’s pieces of fine china. It is rumored that people hear her counting from one to nine at night because she is searching for the tenth dish that she broke. We headed back to Kyoto and I got some much needed sleep on the train.
Academic Reflection
The castle towns such as the one we visited today, we predominantly controlled and operated by the daimyos, who sat in the castles overlooking the city below. As we learned per last night’s reading, these daimyos established the groundwork for the design of the city, and they would usually accommodate uninvited commoners to move into their town by relocating farms and temples to set aside areas for commoner districts. The readings from last night also dove into great detail about the construction of these castles, which differed slightly from European castles. One aspect that separated castles from these regions is that Japanese castles were built upon the mountains or hills and did not use the great, high walls that the European castles implemented. Furthermore, the Japanese castles, such as Himeji-jo that we visited today, were very simply built on the inside, with dark wooden floors, sliding panels for doors, etc. This is in contrast to many European castles that prided themselves on the intricate art and details that decorate the castles. This castle in particular seemed to be primarily built up into the air, as we had to climb at least a dozen sets of stairs to reach the top of the castle, whereas many European castles are built more level on the ground but are wider and are often not as tall as the castle we visited today.

Promoting Tourism: N Chandrababu Naidu's Initiatives for Tourism Development in Andhra Pradesh
Tourism plays a vital role in economic growth, employment generation, and cultural exchange. Recognizing its potential, former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N Chandrababu Naidu, implemented several TDP Projects to develop and promote tourism in the state. Under his leadership, Andhra Pradesh witnessed significant progress in infrastructure development, heritage conservation, and marketing strategies, attracting domestic and international tourists.
Tumblr media
N Chandrababu Naidu's government focused on improving the state's infrastructure to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for tourists. The development of world-class airports, such as the Visakhapatnam International Airport, increased connectivity and facilitated easier access to popular tourist destinations. Additionally, the construction of well-maintained roads and highways improved transportation links, making it convenient for travelers to explore the state.
Preserving the rich cultural heritage of Andhra Pradesh was a priority for N Chandrababu Naidu. Under his rule TOP TDP MLAs initiated the restoration and renovation of historical monuments and religious sites, enhancing their appeal to visitors. The iconic Amaravati, renowned for its Buddhist heritage, received particular attention, with efforts to develop it as a prominent tourist attraction. The preservation of ancient temples, such as the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple in Tirupati, was also undertaken to promote spiritual tourism.
N Chandrababu Naidu's government implemented innovative marketing strategies to showcase Andhra Pradesh as a must-visit tourist destination. The "Andhra Pradesh Tourism" campaign aimed to create awareness about the state's diverse attractions, including its scenic beauty, cultural festivals, and culinary delights. The campaign utilized social media platforms, travel shows, and print media to reach a wider audience. Collaborations with travel agencies and tour operators helped in designing attractive tour packages and organizing promotional events. For more achievements and contributions of TDP look through the official TDP website.
Recognizing the importance of sustainable tourism, N Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the development of eco-tourism in Andhra Pradesh. The picturesque Araku Valley and the serene Kolleru Lake were among the key locations identified for eco-friendly tourism initiatives. These efforts not only conserved the natural beauty of these regions but also provided employment opportunities for the local communities. Nature camps, trekking trails, and bird-watching activities were introduced to promote eco-tourism and raise environmental awareness.
To boost tourism infrastructure and attract private investment, N Chandrababu Naidu's government actively encouraged public-private partnerships (PPPs). This approach helped develop world-class resorts, hotels, and entertainment zones, offering tourists a range of accommodation and recreational options. The government also provided incentives and tax benefits to attract investment in the tourism sector, stimulating economic growth and generating employment opportunities. Now we can get the local and city news from the TDP official website.
N Chandrababu Naidu's initiatives for tourism development in Andhra Pradesh yielded positive results. The state witnessed a significant increase in tourist footfall, contributing to the overall economic growth. The initiatives not only improve infrastructure and heritage conservation but also enhance local communities' livelihoods. The sustained efforts to promote Andhra Pradesh as a tourist destination brought it into the limelight, attracting both domestic and international tourists. His vision and commitment to tourism development have laid a strong foundation for the industry's growth and prosperity in Andhra Pradesh.

Spiritual Journey of Amritsar: Exploring the Golden Temple
Tumblr media
Amritsar, located in the northwestern state of Punjab in India, is a city that is steeped in history and spirituality. It is home to the Golden Temple, one of the most revered and visited religious sites in India. The Golden Temple, also known as Harmandir Sahib, is a symbol of the Sikh faith and a place of spiritual pilgrimage for Sikhs from around the world. In this blog, we’ll take you on a Spiritual Journey of Amritsar, exploring the Golden Temple and its significance.
History of the Golden Temple
The Golden Temple was built in the 16th century by Guru Arjan, the fifth Guru of the Sikh faith. The temple was built to serve as a central place of worship for Sikhs and as a symbol of the Sikh community’s strength and unity. Over the years, the temple has been rebuilt and renovated several times, with the present structure dating back to the 18th century.
Architecture of the Golden Temple
The Golden Temple is known for its stunning architecture and design. The temple is built on a square platform surrounded by a pool of water, known as the Amrit Sarovar. The main entrance to the temple is through a magnificent archway, known as the Darshani Deorhi. The temple itself is a four-story structure with a gold-plated dome at the top, which gives it its name – the Golden Temple.
The inner sanctum of the temple houses the Guru Granth Sahib, the holy book of the Sikh faith. The book is considered the living embodiment of the Sikh Gurus and is treated with the utmost respect and devotion by Sikhs.
Significance of the Golden Temple
The Golden Temple is not only a place of worship but also a symbol of the Sikh community’s values of equality, service, and compassion. The temple is open to people of all religions and backgrounds, and it serves free meals to anyone who visits the temple. This tradition, known as langar, is a way of serving and giving back to the community and is an integral part of Sikh culture.
The temple also plays an important role in Sikh history and identity. It was the site of a brutal massacre in 1984 when Indian troops attacked the temple during Operation Blue Star, a military operation to remove Sikh militants who had taken refuge in the temple. The incident led to a wave of violence and protests in the Sikh community and remains a significant event in Indian history.
Visiting the Golden Temple
Visiting the Golden Temple with the Best Tour and Travel Company in India is a unique and unforgettable experience. As you approach the temple, you’ll see the glistening golden dome reflecting in the Amrit Sarovar, creating a stunning visual spectacle. The temple is open 24 hours a day, and visitors are welcome at any time. Before entering the temple, visitors must cover their heads and remove their shoes as a sign of respect.
Inside the temple, you’ll be greeted by the soothing sound of kirtan, devotional music that is played throughout the day. You can also witness the langar, where volunteers serve free meals to visitors. The food is simple yet delicious and is a testament to the Sikh community’s commitment to serving others.
The temple also offers accommodation for visitors in the form of a dormitory and a guest house. The accommodation is free of charge and is available to anyone who visits the temple.

7 Days Rajasthan Tour Package from Delhi: My Royal Escape with Amsah Tours
You know how sometimes life just piles up—emails, meetings, the daily grind—and all you want is to disappear into history, color, and something magical? That was me last month. And guess what? I did exactly that. I packed my bags and booked the 7 Days Rajasthan Tour Package from Delhi with Amsah Tours, and let me tell you—it was one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time.
From palaces that whisper stories to camel rides under the stars, Rajasthan is the kind of place that wraps you in old-world charm and refuses to let go.
Let me walk you through what this incredible week looked like.
Tumblr media
Day 1: Delhi to Jaipur – The Pink City’s Warm Welcome
We started our journey from Delhi in a comfortable private cab arranged by Amsah Tours. Honestly, I was impressed from the get-go. The cab was spotless, the driver was professional, and everything was on time—something that matters a lot when you're going on a multi-city tour.
By afternoon, we reached Jaipur and checked into a beautiful heritage-style hotel. In the evening, we explored the bustling bazaars near Hawa Mahal—so much color, textiles, and yes, irresistible street food!
Tip: If you love souvenirs, do your shopping in Jaipur first. You’ll get great quality and prices, especially for handicrafts and jewelry.
Day 2: Jaipur Sightseeing – Palaces, Forts & Rajasthani Flavors
We visited the grand Amber Fort, rode up on an elephant (touristy but fun!), and wandered through the City Palace and Jantar Mantar. Every corner here feels like a movie set—ornate carvings, giant courtyards, and that pink sandstone glow.
Lunch was a traditional Rajasthani thali, and dinner ended with a cultural folk dance show arranged by the tour operator.
Amsah Tours made sure every stop was well-paced. No rush, no chaos—just smooth, thoughtful travel.
Tumblr media
Day 3–4: Jodhpur – The Blue City & Its Royal Vibe
Next up, we drove to Jodhpur. The transition from pink to blue was striking. We explored the mighty Mehrangarh Fort, soaked in the view of the blue houses from the top, and even tried zip-lining across the fort walls!
The local food here deserves its own paragraph—mirchi vadas, makhaniya lassi, and spicy curries that lit up our taste buds.
Day 5: Udaipur – Romance on the Lake
Udaipur was the highlight of the trip. Known as the City of Lakes, it felt like a peaceful retreat after days of sightseeing. We took a boat ride on Lake Pichola at sunset with the City Palace glowing in the background—pure magic.
The stay here was especially luxurious, thanks to Amsah Tours upgrading us to a lake-view room. It’s little touches like this that made the tour feel personal.
Tumblr media
Day 6: Pushkar – A Spiritual Pause
On our way back, we stopped at Pushkar—a quiet, holy town known for its Brahma Temple and peaceful lake ghats. The vibe here is completely different—more spiritual and laid-back. A beautiful contrast to the royal grandeur of the previous cities.
Tip: Try a camel ride at sunset in the Pushkar desert—it’s a peaceful, unforgettable moment.
Day 7: Return to Delhi – But Not Before a Quick Agra Detour!
On our final day, instead of heading straight back, I opted for a quick visit to the Taj Mahal via the Same Day Agra Tour by Gatimaan Express train (which Amsah Tours also helped arrange). I’ve been to Agra before, but seeing the Taj again—especially in the soft morning light—was the perfect ending to an incredible journey.
Tumblr media
Why I Recommend This 7 Days Rajasthan Tour Package from Delhi
✨ Covers all the iconic cities: Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Pushkar
🏨 Handpicked stays in heritage-style or luxurious hotels
🚗 Smooth travel with reliable drivers and guides
🎯 Well-paced and customizable itinerary
💼 Fully managed by Amsah Tours, so I didn’t worry about a thing
🧳 Option to add detours like the Same Day Agra Tour by Gatimaan Express train
My Quick Travel Tips for Rajasthan
Pack for Variety: Days can be warm, nights chilly—especially in desert towns. Layer smart!
Stay Hydrated: It’s easy to get caught up in sightseeing and forget to drink enough water.
Local Guides Add Magic: Especially at forts and palaces—so many stories you’d otherwise miss.
Go with a Trusted Operator: I cannot stress this enough. Amsah Tours made the journey smooth, safe, and genuinely enjoyable.
Try Local Dishes: Don’t stick to hotel food—taste the local cuisine wherever you go.
Keep Some Cash Handy: Small towns and markets still prefer cash over digital payments.

Designed for comfort, speed, and divine experience, this pilgrimage covers two of India's most sacred shrines — Kedarnath and Badrinath — in the majestic lap of the Himalayas. This article will take you through everything you need to know about this luxurious yet spiritually fulfilling yatra.
Why Choose Dodham Yatra by Helicopter?
The traditional journey to Kedarnath and Badrinath involves rugged terrain, long treks, and unpredictable weather conditions. While the spiritual rewards are immense, the physical strain can be challenging, especially for elderly pilgrims. That’s where the Dodham Yatra by Helicopter steps in. It ensures a comfortable, quick, and hassle-free journey without compromising the sacred experience.
Himalayan Top specializes in crafting these helicopter journeys with utmost care and dedication, ensuring that every pilgrim feels spiritually fulfilled and physically refreshed.
The Route: From Dehradun to Divinity
The journey typically starts from Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. After a warm welcome and a short briefing session, pilgrims board the helicopter to Kedarnath. Known for its 8th-century Shiva temple surrounded by snow-clad peaks, Kedarnath is a sight to behold. After darshan, the helicopter takes you to Badrinath, the land of Lord Vishnu.
Both shrines hold immense religious significance and visiting them in a single day or two via helicopter ensures maximum convenience without losing the essence of devotion.
Day-Wise Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Dehradun, briefing, and overnight stay.
Day 2: Early morning departure to Kedarnath, darshan, and same-day transfer to Badrinath.
Day 3: Morning darshan at Badrinath, return to Dehradun.
All arrangements, including VIP darshan passes, luxurious accommodations, meals, and ground transportation, are taken care of by Himalayan Top.
Highlights of Dodham Yatra by Helicopter
