JOHN RAMBO (2008)

John Rambo vit dans l'ouest de la Thaïlande, à la frontière birmane, où il survit en chassant des serpents au venin mortel qu'il revend à un animateur de spectacles. Un groupe de missionnaires chrétiens des États-Unis souhaite l'engager pour être guidés en territoire hostile, en remontant le fleuve Salouen jusqu'en Birmanie, où ils doivent apporter vivres et médicaments au peuple karen, harcelé par les Tatmadaws, l'armée de la junte birmane. John Rambo commence par refuser, puis cède devant l'insistance de Sarah, une jeune et belle femme idéaliste.

Le groupe est capturé par les Tatmadaws. Le responsable du groupe missionnaire, venu spécialement des États-Unis, demande à Rambo d'accompagner un commando de mercenaires qu'il a engagé vers la zone où son groupe a été capturé. John Rambo les emmène et décide de prendre part à l'opération de sauvetage, en appuyant du même coup l'armée Karen de libération nationale.

Luis Miguel Gallego Basteri, nacido el 19 de abril de 1970 en San Juan, Puerto Rico, es un destacado cantante y productor mexicano. Conocido por su poderosa voz y carisma, es uno de los artistas más exitosos de la música en español, con aproximadamente 100 millones de discos vendidos en todo el mundo. Su repertorio abarca géneros como pop, baladas, boleros, tangos, jazz, big band y mariachi. A diferencia de otros artistas latinos de su generación, no cruzó al mercado anglosajón durante la década de 1990, manteniendo su estatus como el artista con mayores ventas en ese período.

Luis Miguel inició su carrera a los 11 años y ganó su primer Grammy a los 14, convirtiéndose en el artista masculino más joven en recibir este galardón. Ha acumulado seis premios Grammy, seis Grammy Latinos, catorce premios Billboard de la Música Latina y otros reconocimientos. Su álbum "Romance" de 1991 es uno de los más vendidos en español, con 14 millones de copias. Es el primer artista latino con dos álbumes certificados de platino en EE. MOSARA Summon Ravaging Arizona Doom with New Single “Amena”

~Doomed & Stoned Debuts~

Hailing from the hotbed of Phoenix, Arizona, comes the ferocious, rumbling four-piece MOSARA. Their new single, "Amena" follows on the heels of the band's 2022 LP, Only The Dead Know Our Secrets, dropped last summer.

Describing their style as atavistic doom, the band says "Amena" is "equal parts primal and nuanced...imbued with an intensity that lies just under the surface of a powerful wall of sound." It's meaning is obscure, probably Arabic for honest, trustworthy.

As the piece opens, drums punch out a wide gait, signaling the approach of some dreadful horde just over the hills. Guitars crack and buzz like pissed off swarms of hornets. Vocals announce a doom once prophesied in ages past, now imminent.

SOME BUZZ

Mosara is a Phoenix, Arizona-based doom band, originally formed and active in the early 2000s. In late 2018, the band was reformed by Tony Gallegos, the founding vocalist and guitarist. The new lineup includes guitarist Nikos Mixas from Twingiant, bassist Christopher Burns from Hex Volt, and drummer John Quin from Authority Zero. Mosara’s music combines elements of doom, stoner metal, prog metal, and atmospheric sludge.

In the fall of 2020, Mosara began recording their first full-length album. The self-titled effort was recorded and mixed without the use of any recording software, resulting in the raw and authentic sound of the finished product. The album was released in May 2021 through Transylvanian Recordings and received praise from several genre-specific outlets. Mosara’s unique style of “atavistic doom” was praised as the element that distinguishes them from other bands in the subgenre.

Mosara followed up their self-titled debut in the summer of 2022. Only The Dead Know Our Secrets, their second studio album, garnered high praise from doom and sludge media sites such as Invisible Oranges, Doomed and Stoned, and Veil of Sound. Mosara’s latest single, "Amena," is set to be released this July as a teaser for their upcoming third full-length, which will begin pre-production this fall.
