This is the news we've all been hoping for!!!

Inka Subs are collaborating to release an English subbed version of Memole! By the sounds of this post they've already completed the whole English script and are now simply in the editing/coding stages, and intend to release episodes in batches.

This is absolutely wonderful news. Tell any and all anime fans in your life about this!

In episode 3 of Tongari Boushi no Memole, Memole and her friends are trying to see if they can revive a girl who might be dead, and Memole says, "She really is dead after all," with tears in her eyes. But the fansub, which is atrocious, has her say...

"Don't waste your time."

This mistranslation made me laugh. "If anything happens, then we're dead! I'm going to keep going, though!"

What she actually said was, "If anything happens, play dead!"

There's another funny mistranslation later in the episode when Memole says the same thing when they actually encounter a cat, though you can tell from context what she really said.
