Since I got to love a shojo anime series called Kamisama Hajimemashita (Kamisama Kiss), I have started to love the main OTP of the series, the fox familiar Tomoe and the land goddess Nanami Momozono. And spoilers, they got married at the end, with Tomoe being human and Nanami expecting a baby boy.

I couldn't help but make a cute fan art of their baby boy in his childhood years, which was only shown only in a glimpse. Since the anime has shown the hair color of the baby (white haired, like Tomoe), I made him have Nanami's brown eyes. And their son doesn't have the fox ears and tail, since Tomoe is now human.

And the name? I imagine Nanami naming their son "Himetarou", to tease Tomoe, since she gave him that name to hide his real identity when she rescued the injured Tomoe in the past. 🤣

Okay but so I think about this moment a lot because when I first watched the anime I thought the episode where we see baby tomoe was basically just fun for the fans and what not but when ever I see this part of the OVA I immediately think how that silly episode where we all saw tomoe as a kid was so important because it meant Nanami saw tomoe as a kid. So when he disguised himself she immediately knew exactly who he was because she’d already seen him in a similar form. It meant that she could recognize that he was a demon and had a serious non-human injury that required the peach pills. It meant that she would stay by him until he was well because she knew. Had she not known that already would she have risked so much for him? Would she have been there? She probably wouldn’t have left him but I don’t know that she would have recognized him and he may have eventually died without the peach pills because she may have gone off and continued to look for him. IDK MAN but I think about how so many things in the manga come full circle including that.
