Trump-Rupert Murdoch-Tommy Tubberville-Kari Lake-Tucker Carlson and others like them have been using the same RACIST playbook since forever. They trick white folks into believing that people of color and Immigrants are "the problem" and must be stopped. For example, see Fox News' immigrant caravan stories that they run over and over. They want and NEED WHITE FOLKS TO FEEL THREATENED by the "scary" others who don't look like them. This persuades working class white folks who are struggling just to pay their bills to vote against their own interests and instead vote for candidates who redirect the wealth to the wealthiest while simultaneously destroying programs that help regular folks like Medicare and Social Security. One recent example, all the Republican senators voted against lower prescription drug costs for Medicare recipients. They assume you will be so caught-up in scary caravan stories that you won't notice them PICKING YOUR POCKETS as LBJ once pointed out. They want ALL THE MONEY and scaring you with immigrant caravans and CRIME IS OUT OF CONTROL stories is how they trick you into voting for candidates who protect the super-wealthy.
