Well, there are a couple of ideas I’ve had that would be intriguing to read in another person’s style. Honestly? There’s a Mirror!Malcolm Reed fic that’s been bouncing around in my head for a while (basically just a rough, smutty interrogation), but for some reason I just can’t get my brain to cooperate about writing it.

V: If you could write the sequel (or prequel) to any fic out there not written by yourself, which would you choose?

I doubt I would do it justice, but I would love to write a sequel to “Holosuite Number 3” by WikkityTweak on AO3.

As for J, I’m more than happy to do that, but is there a particular fic you want me to write that alternate ending for? Or did you want me to pic one at random?

i know that the names of Neil and Andrew’s cats being Sir and King are canon, but ive simply chosen to ignore that.

In my head Neil names the first cat something like Baby, Kitty or Spot (one of the Standard cat names because he wants to try being a Normal person). Andrew wants to name the other after a food or a car (Whole milk, Pork ribs and Mitsubishi, Toyota Corola) but Neil is against it so Andrew names the other cat… Dave.

of course i use the in-game model of Foul Legacy as a base reference, and the differences are mostly minor things that only i really care about but they are still IMPORTANT. my Foul Legacy has pretty, sparkly wings instead of cape, but they've got the same flowing silky texture that they almost seem like a cape. they CAN act as fins underwater if needed, although they're also extremely delicate when waterlogged and need to be treated with utmost care. in all the time he's been with you, he's only torn his wings once, and the shriek of agony he let you completely wrenched your heart in two. you took the next few days off of work to care for him, Legacy's head staying in your lap or buried against your shoulder at almost all times as the pain slowly faded

he's also fluffier when i imagine him, perfect for holding and snuggling. his fur is very poofy and soft and when he curls up a certain way he looks like a ginger and lilac dandelion. it's especially prevalent in the winter when the weather is cold, the fluff keeping him warm as he romps around in the few snowfalls you have each year and curls up inside around you whenever it pours down freezing rain. Legacy purrs and lightly pushes you until you sit, flopping on top of you and nuzzling with a deep, content croon as the rain taps the roof of your house in a steady rhythm

Legacy's got claws, but did you also know that he has paw pads!! in my world he has toebeans on his palms and fingertips, faint lilac ones that squish when you poke them, and he always lets out a surprised chitter when you do. they're to help him grasp and knead against blankets, pillows, and your legs- the latter done with caution and care so he doesn't tear through your skin. you compare him to a cat. a big, armored, Abyssal cat, and it's quite an apt description from the way he bumps against you and nibbles at your fingers and curls around your body and trills drowsily with happiness

the dynamic changes a bit but not quite the way that's probably anticipated? alec adores magnus' cat form and loves cuddling magnus like that while he's human as well as a dragon

Magnus wakes to find Alexander’s very human head on his belly and the feeling of his claws retracting.

Magnus chuffs because he thought Alexander had already gone over this fascination. There is a moment of silence and then hazel eyes blink guilelessly at him, completely unrepentant.

Magnus feels the soft pads of his paws being played with again and his claws unsheathe as Alexander smirks at him. Alexander has been petulantly jealous of Magnus’ ability to sheathe his claws and also — in Alexander’s own blunt words — ‘the fact that he didn’t get squishy buttons for his claws’.

Magnus had tried to remind him at the time that cats were known for stealth and dragons were… well, they were dragons. Alexander hadn’t seemed to think that was a good reason for him to miss out on toebeans and since then, has even gone so far as to try to paint Magnus’ claws while he was asleep.

The fact of the matter is that Magnus finds the entire situation a little charming. There is something incredibly sweet about how Alexander can’t actually stop praising Magnus or admiring him.

Even when he’s sulking about his own lack of toebeans and retractable claws.

Magnus chuffs again and reaches out, nuzzling Alexander’s face and scenting him, breathing in deeply before licking the entirety of Alexander’s face.

There is a disgruntled murmur and then Alexander rolls next to Magnus, still holding his paw and playing with the soft pads with a look of concentration. Magnus merely settled back down and lets his eyes slowly blinks closed.

Alexander blinks back at him, copying the motion and looking pleased when it earns him a purr. There’s a moment where Magnus things that he’ll shift and come back to cuddle but then his treasure just curls close, face pressed to Magnus fur and tucking himself under the paw he’d been playing with.

“Like this.” Alexander murmurs and his treasure is a man of few words on a good day, but Magnus is learning that the more he talks to Alexander, the more words are offered in return. As if Alexander is relearning how to converse as they go along and well, perhaps he is.

There’s a moment of content quiet and Magnus is about to fall asleep when Alexander whispers, “good kitty.”

It’s with mock outrage that Magnus gets his paws on Alexander and rolls them over, setting all of his mass on Alexander’s back and pinning him down. It’s with rough swipes of his tongue that Magnus grooms the nape of Alexander’s neck and the hair curling around his ears.

“Magnus! If I’m dirty I’ll just take a bath.” Is the protest from his treasure, muffled from where Magnus is calmly pinning Alexander down. Magnus simply growls in response and continues for a moment before he gets his teeth gently in the shirt Alexander is wearing.

Honestly it’s a surprise to find him dressed but it makes it easier as uses magic to reinforce the fabric before he drags Alexander with him. It’s a little more difficult to scruff Alexander like this, but Magnus is not above trying.

“Magnus I’m not a carcass.” Is the next complaint as Alexander remains limp, even while being dragged and Magnus snorts and lets himself into the den. It’s a soft room with magic contained in every single article in the room. It means that Magnus can simply toss his captured prey onto the floor and know he’ll be safe.

It also means that Magnus can then lay on his boy’s chest and smirk down at him, tail flicking against Alexander’s ankle as Magnus settles down and claims the perfect napping spot.

After all, cats enjoy games as well.

I love it!

Reader is a cat at heart, and their mutation is a feral cat one. They have sharp claws, little fangs, a short or long tail, they have bright yellow/green eyes, they love meat, and they knock things over as a game. They like pets, but only certain people can pet them, and no one else can pet them when they're not in the mood.

They also like to nap in the sunshine. They have tried catnip, it causes them to run around the mansion at 3:00am breaking everything and meowing loudly, and now everyone has sworn not to give them catnip again. Reader likes to curl up with the other ferals, and also Morph, Gambit, and Jubilee. Reader's chill with them.

The Papas Meet Gordon Ramsay

As requested, here's some HCs for the Papas trying to cook for Gordon Ramsay.

Primo:

Primo can cook. He raised his brothers and absolutely kept them alive with the basics.

He's not necessarily the fastest, taking his time to smell and choose the best of ingredients.

His herb knowledge is impressive and terrifying.

He doesn't know who Gordon Ramsay is but one look from the Eldest brother, and Gordon absolutely leaves him alone.

The food is edible but not the prettiest

Secondo:

He doesn't want to be here and he certainly has better things to do than this.

Secondo knows what he's doing in a kitchen.

The man is efficient, quiet, and clean as he works.

Secondo knows his meats. Preferring game.

His scowl is enough to get him zero criticism from Gordon.

Terzo:

Terzo watches Food Network. Does that mean he can cook? Hell no.

Gets into a shouting match with Ramsay.

Drinks more wine than he actually cooks.

Gets angry when all of his brothers refuse to let him have a bottle of olive oil. Those are rumors.

Can actually make fresh pasta and well.

Please enjoy this photoshoot. I call it, A Girl Is Happiest When She Lies In Her Favorite Spot, Especially When That Spot Is Stolen From Someone Else. Our model, Alley Cat, was really pleased @evilwriter37 wouldn’t need his spot for the night since he was going upstairs, and she was very relaxed. She even stretched her toebeans before shooting to make sure they had the perfect level of fluff! And look at how well the stylists did with her bib! Their secret routine is to lick the bib, gag on it, and then have Alley drink water so it will be soaked. Then, wait to dry, and perfect! I’ve been told this model is a bit reluctant with her career as she is constantly bombarded by paparazzi. But she brought her A game today!

The prince of the sands of time, Sandy 💜⭐️

Some extra info dumps under the cut:

He has small horns under his turban, which make the little shapes on top of his head

He's got tiny little toebeans like a cat because of the jokes with him looking like a tired cat 😭😭

His colours are inspired by capybaras (the deadpan expressions absolutely feel Sandy-like and I felt that too much purple wouldn't look as good. I tested this a lot, trust me 😭)

He does have purple running down certain parts of his body like his back and parts of his upper arms. These purple bits are almost like fragments of the cosmos blessed upon his skin, which often show soft little white stars that shift with the ones on the horizon.

When he fully is awake, I have a colour scheme for a sort of "god/arcane mode," where he becomes similar to the colours of Tara's black portal shadow. He essentially becomes a pure deity of the cosmos.

His eyes are like staring into the depths of space. I couldn't show it well here, but when I draw him digitally, I'll do it justice :)

His cape can actually shift sizez depending on what he wants! Usually, he keeps it large like a big blanket over him, but he can have it like a tiny version (like in game) so it doesn't get stuck on anything when bawling.

His claws are a dark blue similar to his eyes.

He can also fly! Similarly to Tara, these types of dragons (lung dragons) are often highly skilled and gifted in magic, which allows him to levitate and hover in place.

Due to the last point, he's flown off when taking a nap multiple times. Gene usually has to pull him back down before he goes too high.
