#Today's been a rough day to my headcanons lmao

I feel like I've said this somewhere before, but I always had the theory that Witchelny being called "the digital world of another dimension" and magic being called "an advanced programming language" was simply how these things are perceived by Digimon and Digimon researchers, who have no other way of understanding magic "logically". So Witchelny itself is not actually digital in its own reality, but being that transition over from it into the/a digital world do become digital in the process. I think Nanimon's existence shows this should be possible, cause iirc Tamagotchis aren't digital either, they're aliens, right? And Oyajitchi still became a digital being just fine.

Realized that most of my previous knowledge of Witchelny is probably out-dated and I barely remember anything anyways so I decided to consult good ol' Wikimon for the latest lore additions (since we have gotten a few new crumbs of lore in the past few years) and yeah

We do have at least two different canon explanations to what Witchelny is.

A) The Digital World of another dimension (so some other Human World's Digital World)

B) Another dimension within the Digital World

(So technically my interpretation of Witchelny being nothing more than another DW within the Web Ocean is actually just a headcanon and I was misremembering the actual lore) (Can you blame me though, it's been years since I Researched™ this thing based on absolute breadcrumbs of lore we had at the time) (I'm not letting go of that headcanon as another interpretation though I love that idea I just need to remember that is actually just a headcanon dfjgshkjg) (Man I gotta retake my courses on Digimon Lore jdhsghdfjg)

And yeah your interpretation for the A Scenario of How DigiMagic Works is fitting and makes perfect sense, and even matches the vague description Novel 2's prologue gave of what happened to Wizarmon when he entered the DW

"...As a result, he was exiled to this world. The composition of his body was changed so that he now looked like a life-sized doll."

So yeah, Scenario A, where Witchelny is tied to a different Human dimension, they get converted into data when entering "the main" HW's DW. (Much like how Adventure describes the supernatural's attempts at entering the Human World in general, where they get yeeted into the DW instead and converted into data) In scenario B I doubt a conversion would be happening since everything is happening within the same world

Crittertember Day 9: In Your AU

Excuse me as I shamelessly self indulge. Double induldge because I'm claiming this as a Crittertember Entry lmao. Day 9! "In Your AU"

This is a pretty loose AU. Pretty much everything I draw could be considered AU because what even is canon for the Smiling Critters? But I like to call this my "Critter Island" AU. (Or CritterCrossing) Simply because I headcanon that they live in a place called Critter Cove Isle. I basically treat it like a playground of ideas inspired by MLP, Animal Crossing and other stuff I like.

Self indulgent shipping stuff: First Meeting

It was a blistering summer day, and Sandy Paw Beach  was packed with critters enjoying the sun, surf, and sand. Kickin Chicken was in his element, surrounded by his usual entourage of fans. His athletic prowess, smooth confidence, and laid-back attitude had made him a local celebrity. Today, he was out there impressing everyone with his latest trick—a complicated, gravity-defying flip off the side of the pier into the ocean. 

“Yo, Kickin, that was sick!” one of the critters cheered, clapping him on the back as he stepped out of the water, flipping his wet feathers in an effortlessly cool way. 

“Ye-hah, you nailed it, dude!” another chimed in, eyes wide with admiration.

Kickin smirked, shaking off the water and casually throwing on his sunglasses. 

“Eh, no biggie,” he said, trying to downplay it. “When I was born my mom thought I was a penguin, y’know?”

His group of fans chuckled, hanging onto his every word. As they headed back toward the pier to grab some ice cream, one of the critters in the group glanced over at the lifeguard tower and scoffed.

“Ugh, there she is again,” an otter critter named Mia muttered, nudging her friend. “The weird lifeguard.”

Kickin raised an eyebrow, his attention pulled to where Mia was looking. At the lifeguard tower sat Jersey Shoals, a cow critter, her gaze steady as she surveyed the beach. She was calm and quiet, the wind playing with her short, ocean-swept hair as she sat atop the tower, her lifeguard vest loose around her shoulders.

“What’s weird about her?” Kickin asked, though his tone was still casual. He wasn’t the type to get caught up in gossip, but something about the way Mia said it piqued his curiosity.

“She’s, like, always so quiet and stares off into space,” Mia replied. “Barely talks to anyone, and when she does, it’s like... I dunno, she just acts kinda... different. People say she’s, like, in her own world or something.”

“Yeah,” another critter chimed in. “I heard she’s…excuse the language, a bit slow?  Probably not all there, y’know?”

Kickin shrugged, not particularly interested in the details. “Whatever,” he said, brushing it off as he strutted toward the ice cream stand. “She’s just doing her job.”

But as they passed the tower, Kickin couldn’t help but glance up at Jersey again. There was something different about her, but not in the way his beach pals had been suggesting. She seemed...focused. Like she was tuned into something deeper than the noise around her. She wasn’t gawking at the athletes and body builders on the beach, wasn't trying to impress anyone. She just... was.

Suddenly, as if on cue, a loud shriek broke through the chatter of the beachgoers. Kickin turned his head in time to see a kid flailing in the water, caught by a rough current. The lifeguard tower’s alarm sounded, but Jersey was already in motion.

Without a second’s hesitation, she leapt from the tower, her movements swift and precise. She sprinted toward the water, cutting through the crowd with ease, while the beachgoers began to panic. Kickin watched, caught off guard by the sudden change in pace.

Jersey hit the water with purpose, diving beneath the waves in a practiced motion. The kid had gone under for a moment, but she found him quickly, pulling him to the surface with a strength that surprised everyone watching. With measured, powerful strokes, she swam back to shore, cradling the terrified kid in her arms.

By the time she reached the beach, the crowd had gathered, buzzing with concern and admiration. Jersey laid the kid gently on the sand, checking him over as he coughed up water. 

“You’re okay, kiddo. Just breathe,” she said softly, her voice calm and steady.

The kid’s parents rushed over, thanking Jersey profusely, but she barely acknowledged the attention. Once the child was safe, she simply nodded and made her way back toward the tower, shaking off the water without a word, completely focused on her duties.

Kickin’s groupies watched the whole thing in stunned silence. Mia shifted uncomfortably, glancing at the ground as one of the others nudged her in the side. As if to say “Ahem. You were saying?”

“Well... okay, that was pretty cool, I guess,” she muttered, clearly embarrassed by her earlier comment.

Kickin, however, was still staring at Jersey as she walked back to her post. His sunglasses were pushed up, and for the first time that day, he was speechless. That girl who they had called “weird” had just saved a life without a second thought. No showing off, no need for applause. Just action.

Something stirred in him. She was different, all right—but in a way that made him curious. She wasn’t like the others around him, constantly seeking attention or validation. Jersey Shoals had her own rhythm, and that was something Kickin couldn’t help but admire, even if he didn’t understand it yet.

As Jersey reached the base of the tower, she glanced back, her gaze meeting Kickin’s for just a brief second. She didn’t smile, didn’t wave—just a quiet, steady look that lingered for a moment before she turned away and climbed back up to her station.

Kickin blinked, realizing he had been staring. He quickly composed himself, his usual cocky grin returning. “Alright, y’all go ahead,” he said, waving off his friends. “I’ll catch up in a minute.”

As they headed off toward the ice cream stand, Kickin lingered by the edge of the beach, his eyes drifting back toward the lifeguard tower. Maybe she wasn’t weird. Maybe she was just different. And honestly that was something he found intriguing. 

With one last glance at Jersey, he turned and jogged to catch up with his pals, but his mind kept wandering back to the girl on the tower, wondering about what made her tick.

What do you think is the most awkward thing Mulder ever caught Scully doing, and vice versa?

LMAO this is a funny one!

I think Scully is very attached to her creature comforts (we get a bit of this in War of the Copropgages) and on her day off she goes full on bathrobe face masks romance movie on eating ice cream out of the tub. And I do think that the first time Mulder visited her unprompted, probably while he was doing urgent work and she was on a day off, and found her like this, was super awkward for both of them (think early season 1).

I also love my Scully animal person headcanon and I do believe that she talks to animals when she thinks she’s alone (in a very soft almost maternal voice that she NEVER uses in ordinary life), and one time Mulder did catch her talking to an animal that way, and she turned bright red and didn’t speak to him for the rest of the day.

There are MANY MANY more for the reverse. It’s the nature of their dynamic.

I���m a huge fan of old musical fan Mulder so I do believe that Scully has come into his apartment while he was doing a full length performance of Guys and Dolls (singing all the parts. Yes, all of them) and playing basketball and she just stood there for like an hour waiting for him to notice.

I also do think that Mulder has gotten stuck in a tree (specifically upside-down) and has in fact had to call Scully to get him out of the tree. It would have been very very funny and she almost teased him but he looked so genuinely mortified that she left it alone.

and finally, what does fandom mean to you? oh my god. fandom has always been something of an escape for me? i joined the riverdale fandom in a pretty rough spot, and it was such a fun and sweet way to disconnect from all of that. despite the Stupid of that show, i had so much fun. but now... it's still an escape. it's still a way to turn off the world and mess around and have fun. but it's also a way to learn and express myself and try new things and feel brave? it's a way to create in a way i never thought i could??? it's a community of kindred spirits. this fandom in particular has infused my life with so much color. it has given me my best friends. the tumblr table at my wedding is REAL and it will be the most fun table IMO. my life was very different before these folks came around, and fandom is 100% responsible for that. *clears throat, wipes away tears* anyways. fandom is cool.

Although Miche is a man of few words, he definitely knows how to show you how much he cares.

Most of your worries and stresses stem from expeditions, having to fight off titans and watching your comrades fall certainly took a toll on your mental health; this at least was a stress you could share with Miche.

There is no way to describe his gratitude ... You remember what he looked like before he was kicked out right? The only time he loses his mind is if someone is crossing the line (aka harassing or humiliating you) and at that moment only Makarov to stop him from destroying half the city with a lightning storm. Whoever thought of a rough kiss, thought wrong! Laxus has become a very caring man and he wants to show his love for you. Believe it or not, I see you as a classic romantic man. He doesn't like to show affection in public, but he only does it if you are comfortable and want it with that. He is a gentleman now and your comfort is his priority. But if Laxus notices someone with bad intentions while looking at you, he keeps you close and discreetly looks at that person as he passes the message "make the wrong move and you will deal with me, I dare you" and it is enough to chase away those who are evil .

When they come across his notes on anatomy (and more science notes) and when they find his sketchbook things go from bad to worse

He’s taller than these kids but they move faster, he seems like a calf who just seemed to walk chasing after them

You’ve had enough of this group of kids. They go after every new person and you’ve had it up to here with them

Julian falls for you hard and fast, watching you chase after them, even getting into a fight with one

But there’s a group of people who don’t like him or his cards at all

So they corner him after school and take his cards 

Now tarot cards are expensive (I say this from experience of buying a deck)

So he’s in tears by the time they’re done tearing some of the cards up 

You’re on your way home from school when you see it happening 

Without even thinking you charge into the fray, yelling at the bullies and yanking the cards out of their hands

You bite the hand of one of the bullies who wasn’t letting go

They hurl insults at you and Asra as they walk away leaving the two of you with the mess of torn up cards

The cards that did survive were the Fool, the Magician and the Lovers

Asra is still crying over the loss of most of his other cards. He was very attached to them and judging by their worn corners and faded art he had them for a while

You offer to take him to buy some new ones

He jolts up to look at you, his tears startled away.

“O-Oh MC you don’t h-have to do that...I’ll be okay...”

You insist, and finally he gives in

They pick out a deck that he does admit is way prettier than his old one (this deck being the deck in the game)

You buy it and suddenly it has way more value to him 

He watched you fight for his cards and him

So he starts to fall for you 

You being oblivious but a sweetheart, befriend him and you two become very close

He only does tarot readings for your close friend group now

He doesn’t want to risk the deck you gave to him

One day you two are walking home to do homework and hang out 

But the bully you bit corners you and starts yelling 

Apparently they were embarrassed over the fact you bit them and now there’s a joke about how they got taken down by someone who bit them

So they want to get you back to regain their honour

You’re eating nearby, listening to music and trying to get some Zoology work done

Sounds of a scuffle get your attention, you’re a little pissed off since you want to get some work done in peace

Then you see the new kid (Muriel) getting roughed around by some of the sports kids

Angrily, you get to your feet and stomp over to them, yelling at them to stop what they were doing

They don’t listen to you and Muriel’s glasses get broken (someone steps on them)

You start fighting them, yelling at them to leave Muriel alone

Finally after a bit they leave, spitting on the ground at your feet

You yell after them (probably calling them lowlife lizard skin cowards) hands trembling with your anger

Taking a deep breath you turn to Muriel, helping him pick up his stuff

When he sees his glasses in pieces he nearly cries

You pack his bag, asking softly if it would be okay if you hugged him 

He nods slowly, and you wrap your arms around him, letting him cry silently into your shoulder

You stick near him after that, becoming his friend and fierce protector

01. biography !

so ! clementine was born in florida. & yes, her real name is clementine. her mom thot it was the cutest name idea ever. clementine mostly goes by clem. she comes from the town [redacted] in florida bcoz i am too lazy to look up a specific town <3 but alas ! it was swampy and humid and she lived in a trailer park. 

her parents got knocked up at nineteen. clem was born nine months after a particularly wild 1999 fourth of july. her birthday is march 26th and she’s an aries. 

(TW: addiction, child injury) clem’s dad was a gambling addict and petty criminal—he wld steal credit cards n whatnot. he wld gamble away diaper money n it would cause constant fighting until her dad finally left. her mom took this very hard n began drinking a bit too often, leaving clem to to make cereal for dinner n fend for herself. once clem tried to make hot dogs on the stove and spilled boiling water on herself. got a p bad burn on her arm/shoulder and still has a big scar.

the soundtrack of her childhood was cicadas buzzing and stray dogs barking. the sizzle and pop of natty light cans. turning up her ipod to max volume to drown out the sounds of her mother fighting with her new boyfriend.

throughout her upbringing, clem’s dad was always in and out of the picture. he’d blow into town when he hit it big. he’d take her on these little “adventures” like staying in a motel 6 n renting movies at block buster n ordering good pizza nt the dominos shit she ate with her mom lol. ofc he was charging it all to someone’s stolen credit card. he’d always promise to, like, take clem away. n clem was a daddy’s girl so she believed him. the last time it happened was her h.s. graduation. her mom didn’t show ( "overslept” after a bender ) but her dad did and surprised her n said everything wld be different. bt then he bailed on their plans for the next day n when she called his cell, the number was disconnected. tht was the defining “i’m done” moment. clem promised to never be disappointed by her father again.

(TW: racism) her mother has mexican ancestry and clem’s always been called her twin. but clem was raised in a predominately white area and honestly ?? it was really hard without her even realizing it. she’s still unpacking a lot of things today abt her youth that jst weren’t okay bt she thought were normal. like microaggressions, stereotypes, being fetishized by boys in high school. gross shit.

as a kid, clem was rumored to be really poor bc she wore tattered clothes n got free lunch at school. once she invited a friend to her house & the next day they told everyone it’s in a trailer park. that reputation—the “trailer park girl”—was really hard to shake. and clem got almost desperate to shake it. she was endlessly trying to set her old self on fire and emerge from the ashes like a phoenix.

eventually clem became more “popular”. in school she was, like, a straight b student. very average although super creative and quick-thinking. she always had street smarts. problem solving skills. independence. more of, like, practical intelligence as opposed to book smarts because academia bores her tbh. she was like why am i reading these overrated boring books by dead white men or learning abt polynomials when i know nothing abt how to pay a mortage or do taxes. like...she saw the american education system as bullshit and put in modest effort because she didn’t believe it deserved her sweat and tears. 

however, she entered the online lottery for the seas program on a whim and got in. so she’s studying creative writing now.

02. personality !

first thing you shld know abt clem is that she’s a compulsive liar essentially—she tells various stories to make her life seem better than what it was. to one person, she’s an heiress to a real estate company and grew up wealthy. to the next she was raised by nomadic hippies. some of her lies are small fibs while others are grandiose tales. she rarely talks about her actual upbringing. she hates talking abt her family or the v real trauma of growing up in a household where both parents struggled w/ addiction; the uncertainty, the broken promises, the fact that she had to grow up so soon and deal w/ so much. it wasn’t fair, and if she thinks about it too much, she feels this anger. anger at the universe. anger at her circumstances. she doesn’t know where to put this anger. she doesn’t know how to shrink it. so she avoids it.

despite her rough upbringing, though, clem is actually really sweet and kind. she’s adventurous, fun-loving, free-spirited, and bold. 

bt ! she can also be closed-off, competitive and restive. 

she’s seemingly tight with everyone? like she’s jst that girl who can get along with anyone tbh. 

in her spare time you can catch her tanning by the pool, hanging at the bar, playing pool ( which she learned from her dad ), and socializing. she’ll never say no to hanging out with people. 

she learned a lot from her little “adventures” with her dad, who was very good at conning others and often involved her in his dumb little scams. clem is suuuper good at pulling the ‘im baby 🥺’ card to get what she wants.

she can be a little selfish, because she grew up looking out for herself. 

stubborn and dogmatic as hell !!!

she doesn’t do too many relationships but when she does fall, i imagine she falls hard and fast. she refuses to be made a fool of, tho. when she gets vulnerable she flashes back to being a kid, waiting all day for her dad to show up only to have him bail on her. again. she hates that feeling. so if she, like, senses a shift in someone’s energy she’ll b like, “i’ll break up with u before u can do it to me” and the person wasn’t even tryna dump her lmao.

an astrology girl and she reads palms ! she absolutely makes astrology tik toks that people only watch because she’s hot. her flirting technique is to ask you to read your palm.

she doesn’t typically drink to get drunk. but she does love a good sugary cocktail. to her, a drink is like an accessory. a blue fishbowl by the pool, a jack and coke as she stands around a bar. usually she'll nurse the same beverage for a while. if you see her wasted it usually means she’s going thru it emotionally lol. the one thing she does do is drugs tho 

pretty much listens to exclusively female artists.

I have been wondering if Sammy x Jack's relationship is in any way similar to Joey x Henry's? I mean, Henry and Jack are both relatively similar; soft spoken, sweet decent people that tried to be there for their friends in the past (Joey and Sammy) but that backfired, with Joey using and taking credit for Henry's work, and Sammy for sacrificing Jack (Joey also trapped Henry in a time loop). Also Joey and Sammy are kind of awful friends that get into satanic ink cults.

This is an interesting compare and contrast b/c like….. you can absolutely identify surface similarities? Mostly because Jack and Henry both have that Enneagram-Type-9 energy to them, being chill and supportive people who are more likely to go with the flow and avoid conflict and not rock the boat. But they’re still different people, and Joey and Sammy are SO DIFFERENT that ���one half of the relationship is a supportive person who got screwed over” is kinda as far as those similarities go?

And like, this is definitely in the headcanon zone because THERES NO CANON EVIDENCE OF JACK X SAMMY AT ALL and we have NO IDEA how they interact, and well, it’s hard to be sure of Henry’s exact feelings towards Joey in the end, but for my own interpretations of these characters, at least…

Joey is obsessed with Henry! He got this idea in his head of Henry as someone special and Good and on his team, someone who believed in and shared his vision, and after Henry is LONG GONE Joey still goes back to him to try to pull him back to fix everything. I tend to see Joey kind of projecting a lot of himself and his hopes and his dreams and his future onto Henry in a way that Henry simply…. couldn’t have guessed or been aware of?? Because they weren’t actually communicating this, Joey just kind of made Henry into this person that would make everything perfect and then dumped it all onto Henry and didn’t notice that Henry was less and less on board??? I feel like a lot of what he does is kinda…. wrapped around that, around this rejection from Henry and wanting to be something bigger than how that perceived rejection made him feel; whether that’s subconsciously to impress Henry or to prove to himself that he doesn’t need him, I think a lot of his obsession with making Bendy PERFECT and REAL comes from that.

Meanwhile Sammy…. barely seems to notice Jack, to be honest? Jack mentions Sammy in every audiolog he has, and Sammy doesn’t mention Jack ONCE -- for all the ridiculous amount of canon dialogue Sammy has, never do his interactions with Jack come up AT ALL. Jack is the one who seems to be attached to Sammy, to me; I do like the idea that Jack is one of the few people Sammy will put up with, and that Sammy does genuinely appreciate his company and count Jack as a friend, but I think if Jack left, Sammy wouldn’t find it any great surprise — he’s not exactly cheery company to be around. He would be frustrated by everyone else’s inability to live up to Jack’s standard but I don’t think he’d have bitterness towards Jack over it, he’d just kind of spiral due to his own mental issues and refusal to reach out to anyone he’s not perfectly comfortable with. Jack shrugs and takes a lot of Sammy’s weirdness in stride, and works with Sammy’s peculiarities, and in general has made himself sort of invaluable to Sammy by accident because Jack’s just… fond of him? Sammy likes Jack, and he knows that that’s rare, and, like Joey, assumes it’s because Jack has some quality that your basic irritating sheep are lacking, but I don’t think he intentionally trusts his soul to Jack the way Joey does with Henry. Joey invites Henry in; Sammy just doesn’t kick Jack out.

And then, Jack and Henry are both very chill with rough circumstances and shrug off their own complaints, but Jack leans more optimistic, while Henry seems more stubborn. Jack is willing to complain, but like, it seems fleeting (Okay, yeah, the sewer IS pretty awful, but you know what? I’m working a LOT faster these days lmao. Gettin pretty sick of Sammy’s music today lmao but hey AT LEAST THERES COFFEE) Whereas Henry is frustrated and just doesn’t necessarily think to challenge the status quo (“Just keep drawing”) until things hit a breaking point. Things Just Keep Happening To Him in game and he doesn’t try to make light of it, he just…. chooses to focus on moving forward, at the expense of processing his own feelings on A N Y T H I N G.

And that’s apparent in these relationships, too; Jack sees things in Sammy he really likes much more strongly than he sees all of Sammy’s many flaws; Henry has a soft spot for Joey, they’re best pals, but when things are bad and he’s sticking around, it’s mostly just stubbornly working through the frustration to keep things moving…. until it’s apparent that they won’t ever change.

So we have one relationship where Joey pours so much of himself onto the very accommodating Henry that Henry suffocates and has to leave, and then we have this other relationship where Sammy is trying so hard to carry everything himself without ever asking for help that the unbothered Jack who walks up beside him and starts taking a couple of things out of his arms is…. appreciated. Never directly acknowledged. But appreciated.

They do complement each other, but in different ways; Sammy is aggressive and cynical to Jack’s shrugging optimism, but both are huge introverts; Joey is talkative and outgoing and social to Henry’s unassuming introversion, but both are fairly hopeful people overall. Joey and Henry were close friends until they tried to work together, whereas Jack and Sammy mostly know each other as coworkers. Joey and Henry are openly friendly with each other but have a quiet, unspoken, fundamental misunderstanding of what their relationship is; Jack and Sammy are openly just coworkers who put up with each other but have a quiet, unspoken, deep understanding of each other and “get” each others’ needs on a fundamental level.

You can see similarities from one angle, but from another angle, they’re practically opposites.

“Burn” 🔥 (IkeVamp Shakespeare Parody)

Concept: Inspired by Vincent’s route, specifically Shakespeare navigating his feelings for MC. (Lowkey spoilers if you haven’t read Vincent’s route yet.)

A/N: Hey y’all! I’m back at it again with another song parody no one asked for lmao. 😅 I wrote this sometime last year after finishing Vincent’s route, and I couldn’t help but think about the story in Shakespeare’s POV. And so, this song was born! 

While writing this song edit, I hoped to capture the lovesick and jealous sides of Will that we get to see in the story. I chose this particular Hamilton song because 1) I REALLY wanted to do another parody of this song with a better microphone lmao and 2)  “Burn” really resonated with me when I was reflecting on what Will could have been thinking as he dealt with his feelings for MC and Vincent, as well as the emotions he was going through while scheming to split them up (I don’t remember the specific chapters but it’s somewhere near the end of the route LOL). So basically, this song reminded me of the emotional rollercoaster that was the second half(ish) of this route ASDFGHJKL. 😭

(also while writing this I may have lowkey headcanoned is that a word? that Will writes stories for MC asdfghjkl if this is real tho someone pls tell me so i can cry bc this actually makes me so soft for him. T_T)
