Nadya had finally gotten the chance to speak with Neyon privately, something he had clearly been avoiding as best he could. She had purposely dropped by during the night, knowing Neyon was as much of a night owl as she was. He had hardly had the decency to look her in the eye when she arrived, claiming he wasn’t in the mood to having her admonish his actions, which resulted in her doing exactly that. She had always applauded his rebellious actions whenever they would go out in search of trouble around Sanctuary, but this? Joining a coup to overthrow the Upyr? That went far past rebellious and straight into the territory of insanity. She hadn’t gotten any wiser as to why he’d done what he’d done as he’d refused to explain himself. After a while of ranting against a brick wall, Nadya had finally given up and left Neyon to brood on his own. She had her own problems to deal with, and couldn’t get caught up in his issues as well.

As she turned the last corner before reaching home she was surprised with the small group of men stqanding at her door in the middle of the night. One of them was facing towards her and she instantly recognized the face.

Surprise colored her features at seeing him after quite some time. She’d actually wondered when one of her clients would come to her again, but it had been oddly quiet in that department. Clearly, she hadn’t minded the silence, due to her newly found fear of the red eyes every famished vampire sported. But she had been wanting to slowly try to slide back into her routine. Tobias’ gaze shifted towards her as she approached and her hand lifted to grant him a friendly wave, but his face instantly fell when he noticed her. Her hand froze mid-wave at the startled expression he gave her, the entire look almost a dejavu of more than a year ago when he’d noticed Wolfgang appearing behind her. She quickly glanced back, making sure Wolfgang wasn’t there before turning back towards his frightened gaze. The two men at his side most probably noticed his look, which caused them to turn in her direction.

Fulke? Veeti? Why were they—

Fulke mouthed something Nadya couldn’t hear due to the distance between them, but Tobias responded with a nod before he rushed off with a speed Nadya’s human eyes couldn’t keep up with.

What had just happened?

She walked up to the twins with a puzzled look plastered to her facial features ‘’Uhm… boys?’’ she drawled, pinning them both with suspicious look. ‘’What... was that about?’’
