Future Adult Tobecky Doodles Featuring my Tobecky fan daughter, Lexi!

Headcanons:

Becky and Lexi adore watching Pretty Princess together. The show still seems like trifle to Tobey, but he’s happy his girls are happy.

Sleep-deprived young mom Wordgirl sometimes grabs the wrong partner into battle. (Lexi just loves being along for the ride).

Tobey repurposed his old battle bots into nursery bots to give him and Becky a break from baby Lexi. For once in her life, Becky actually loves those machines.

And Becky is taller than Tobey and more muscular than him ;)

Botsford-McCallister Fankids Headcanons (And life with kids)

They don't have kids right away, and Tobey manages to push aside his desperate want to be a father to see that Becky is clearly not ready, but when he asks her why, she simply states that she's not sure if they'll be half-Lexiconian And if they are, what kind of life will they have?

Tobey reassures her that they'll have the best life, because they'll have her as a mother. (And him too but pride can wait.)

Becky calls it corny but kisses him anyway because that's HER husband.

About four months later she comes to him and reveals she's pregnant, and the speed at which they manage to call teh WHOLE family is honestly something.

But former Villain and Wordgirl waste no time informing the EVA either. And no, Mr. Big, you are not allowed to come to the baby shower.

Because this is a reality where everything's fine Steven is declared God-Father and Uncle with no need to say so out loud.

Tobey made sure there were at least a dozen robots stationed across the mansion in case Becky's water burst at home and they couldn't get to the hospital in time.

As luck may have it this did indeed happen while Tobey was at work, but thankfully Violet had been over and was able to assist in the process.

After the babies (yes, twins), were born Becky told Violet they had already decided that she would be God-Mother and Aunt, and she immediately broke down to tears.

Tobey arrived shortly after, also positively melting when he saw his kids(!) and the babies were named shortly there after.

Beverly "Bev" Claire McCallister was the elder by forty-five seconds, and while everyone told her she looked exactly like Mom, Tobey convinced his wife to use his own mother's name sake because from birth her eyes were Grandma's eyes and no one could convince him otherwise.

Kiersten "Ki" Sally McCallister was the definition of fraternal twins. The only thing she had in common with Bev was their skin colors. After that she had Becky's eyes, Tobey's facial expressions, eyesight, and hair, plus she had powers whilst Bev did not.

The "Ki" nickname was only used and will only ever be used by Bev. NEVER ask why.

As a baby, Bev was always the silent one which scared her father out of his wits on a number of occasions and when awake would be unhealthily curious about things. Dangerously curious.

Kiersten was the opposite. She was very fussy, grabbed any thing attached to the person holding her all the time, and slept through most of the day while keeping her parents up at night.

None of this compared to toddler years Kiersten however, when she started using her powers. At this point in their lives, former Villain and Wordgirl had gone through at least ten Apocalypse's, three of which caused by Miss Power, and their little two-three year old daughter is the biggest cause of their stress.

Bev is an angel as always, and since she didn't have powers, her parents tried to see if she took after her father. She practically chucked the robot kit he gave her for her third birthday across the room, and almost tore apart Bee-Bee. It was then decided she would not be given any more robot related things.

The girls have a plushy collection of course. MANY Wordgirl dolls, one robot (Bee-Bee) for Bev and one for Kiersten (Bot), a pillow that looks like cheese (Uncle Steven of course gave them that), and a toy remote Kiersten is obsessed with playing make believe with Dad with. There are others but we'd be here for days and they are all Bev's anyway.

Kiersten treats Huggy like her lord and savior and he's able to keep her out of trouble every time he baby sits, while Bev just treats him like another stuffed animal she can hug to death.

After five years of dealing with these two disasters waiting to happen, the whole family is surprised when Beckh gets pregnant again.

At least they have the relief that it's not twins.

The birth is much easier then last time and happens at a hospital with Tobey there with his wife the whole time, and the baby couldn't be healthier, no complications at all.

(Except he's almost sent straight back with the doctor when he's brought looking as pale as THAT.)

Theodore "Theo" Tim McCallister IIII is the most well named baby on the planet, as in every way he is the spitting image his father, resulting in everyday lesson with Grandma Claire on how to raise a Theodore McCallister because not only did she have a son but husbands are sons too, if you didn't know.

Despite general warns not too, Tobey still throws hands and gives his son a robot kit for his third birthday which stays intact and makes the kid ecstatic so "Ha ha, Botsford, I win!"

Adding to the plushy collection, Claire managed to dig up Tobey's old teddy bear which he fittingly named Theodore McCallister the One-Hundredth, and he became just "Teddy" for Theo.

Bev incredibly protective over her little bro and Kiersten is the one he needs protecting FROM. Kind of like the relationship between Boy-Genius and Super-powered alien before they became friends. Which probably means they're destined to be as thick as thieves as well (it doesn't).

Tobey wants a fourth kid, Becky doesn't.

After two years Elizabeth "Beth" Victoria Violet McCallister is born. She is the perfect mix between to worlds, with Becky's hair (she grows it longer), skin, facial expressions, and powers, and Tobey's eyes and over all facial LOOK.

While she is highly intelligent and does possess powers, she refuses to take up the mantle of Wordgirl, (leave that to Kiersten), and instead pursues an interest in the arts, which she is surprisingly good at, especially acting and singing and dancing (though her Auntie Violet is VERY proud).

No one knows where she got her talent from, as it certainly wasn't her parents. (Claire and Sally only shrugged, and just LOOK at Tim. You don't have to ask him.)

Out of the four of them, Beth got the tallest, Kiersten coming in shortly after, Theo a few feet shorter, and Bev is a gnome's height.

As adults, Bev settled down to family life and a job as a childrens therapist, Kiersten of course became the next Wordgirl with a job at a fast food place on the side (she takes over and turns it into a restaurant eventually), Theo runs McCallister Tech but never once feels in his father's way or his shadow, and Beth became a famous actress, specifically on Broadway but she does movies too. This resulted in her falling in love and later marrying Scoops' daughter Emma Ming, as she was a director for many of her movies.

In perfect Kiersten fashion, she never falls in love. Bev settles down for family life, as I said, so does find a normal guy eventually who doesn't mind the family secret and has many kids with him. Theo bounces around and divorces at one point, but his soulmate ended up being Victor Best's son Everett. Beth, as said before, is happily married to Emma Ming.

Hey!! I just read through you're blog and I noticed youre Tobecky kids! I wondered about them! Why did you choose those names for them? and how they were received by both Becky and Tobey?

Hello! And Thank you for the ask. (^_^)v

Ngl, I do get very excited about questions regarding any fankids from future AU since they have been the biggest fixation I have regarding my AU. And of course, plus it's Tobecky.

For the names, for context of anyone who doesn't know my Tobecky fankids bc maybe its been a while, it goes:

-Tori (Anactoria) [The oldest]

-Luis [middle child]

-Matilda [youngest]

(They're on my banner now. The easiest way to tell them apart is by their obvious color coordination) (Tori is in purples, Luis dark magenta/crimson, Matilda aquamarine/green-blues)

But yeah, the names!

I came up with their names about in 2018. Yeah, the same year I got fixated on the Wordgirl fandom. At first, I just had the concept of future AU only going from when Becky and the gang went to college, but I got worms in my head casting a vision of a next generation wordgirl story and of course the idea of domestic older Tobecky shenanigans with kids. And I have been sick ever since...my brain it has not recovered.

At first, I only designed one kid, Tori. Which was initially short for Victory since it fits her character, but then I remembered like a dumbass that there is literally a character named Victoria. And I tried to change it in lore that no....um her full name is actually something embarrassingly unique like Anactoria (based on one of Sapphos poems, because local literature nerd Becky might name her daughter that) so she shortens it to Tori. Where then some ppl mistake that she was named after family friend Victoria, and that's the gag for her name. She's named after a poem subject and real funny that it's from Sappho considering who Tori is lmao, but also fits some of her Greek aesthetics.

Luis. Now Luis was a strange one. As I said, I only intended at first for Becky and Tobey in future AU to have one kid, and I only focused on her character. Eventually (aka like 5 months later), I wanted to design other tobecky fankids since the family didn't feel complete for me just yet. So I thought of a little brother, like a TJ to a Becky. But I wanted a baby in there too, so um, middle child Luis was forced to be/lh. But you can tell with some of his characterization and how the family treats him. He was supposed to be the youngest or at least act like the youngest, but nope, he's the middle kid, but he is the most spoiled. His name when I designed him was Lewis, as both references to the protagonist of Meet the Robinsons and to Lewis Carrol of "Alice and Wonderland" (for another literature reference and cause his aesthetic is fairytales). However, I realized that I at least wanted one kid of their's to have a more Hispanic sounding name since y'know I can't lose the culture here, just because Becky married a Brit. So I just had his name and pronunciation easily changed to Luis! (Not said like Lewis or Louise).

Matilda is funny because her name has not changed at all. From her creation, I always imagined her as the youngest and mysteriously smartest of the family. Where Tori and Luis would be messes, she's the one who apparently has it together. She's the Dexter of the family, born a genius, and acts above her age, like a little scientist. I also made it that she's the one with the unique ability of telekinesis and eventually other psychic powers. And for that, she was named after another iconic smart little girl with such abilities. Yep, her name is refence to Matilda from the book and movie (and ig musical too) (that also counts as a literature refence, Becky was 2 for 2 in the naming, too bad Luis couldn't make it 3 lol). She's also nicknamed Matilde, Matty, and Tilly by her siblings and friends.

As for how Tobey and Becky reacted to each of them...hmm while I could just say that they just appeared one day because that's the funniest answer but not canon. I'll just say vaugley how they reacted to them knowing about a kid/how the kids were when they arrived.

All three are ages apart, mainly Tori, since she wasn't intended to have siblings, and I first had her be 12 when Luis came home, but I retconned that a year ago. Where she was 7. The timeline of the McCallister-Botsford family is kinda all over the place, but I'll make it more streamlined one day. (Grrr, I'm now mad at "Stars that shine in your eyes is what matters" because it implies that Luis isn't born yet when now he should be)

So first things first. Tori. Tobey and Becky, after two years of marriage, wanted a kid. And even though, in retrospect, they probably should have waited a bit, they still had their energetic gremlin. They were prepared, excited, and, of course, nervous. And even with the planning they've done, they still didn't anticipate how much of a handful their first would be. Tori was a chaotic little thing, her half Lexiconian abilities definitely causing headaches. There was also her headstrong personality, which made playtime with her an exercise. Tobey and Becky were really preoccupied with her and their own adjectives that there's even a plot line about how they haven't been romantic in years and realize it one day.

When Tori was 7 and she started to become quickly independent, like her mom was at that age (maybe it's a Lexiconian thing), it gave Becky and Tobey time to think about their family more and how it will be smooth sailing from here with Tori getting older...Until Luis happened. He was a surprise, and unlike Tori, he would be a handful too, but in a different way. Tori never cried as much or fussed when she was a baby. The tiredness of taking care of her was all her bountiful energy. However, Luis was clingy, reactive, and sensitive. He was a heavy crier, and it wouldn't go well if they didn't read him a bedtime story. He acted more typical of a human baby, then his sister (and later other sister). He liked to be picked up or carried. Usually, he would also cling to people like some sort of koala.

4 years after Luis was Matilda. She was another surprise. The thing with Matilda is that as a baby, she was already pretty gifted, both in her mind and powers (which were one). Matilda was born with gradual paraplegia. She was given a few chances to learn to crawl and walk, but by age 3, she did have to use a wheelchair. She had other health problems by her birth, but her and the rest of the family learned to adapt. Matilda and Luis formed a bond since they were only 4 years apart versus Tori, who was almost a decade ahead of them. Surprising since Luis would easily get jealous of anyone stealing their parents' time, but he didn't mind being a big brother now and protective of his sister.

HEY GUESS WHAT I HAVE A TUMBLR I THINK… just in time for Wordgirl's premiere anniversary but yeah yadayada even though I go on this app daily I keep postponing posting art here, because I’m depressed abt myself and I like just posting to my friends on discord. So um yeah I drew a lot of it bc of course I did. So I’m going to keep posting art dumps I’ve done over the months, and shocker most of it is about Tobecky or the Tobecky kids or the Tobecky kids friends/love interests from stories I’m too lazy to explain rn, oh and ig a little bit about actually other Wordgirl characters in future but whatever.

This is just a silly little thing I wanted to do because I've fixated and expanded upon my Wordgirl au of next generation stuff, mainly concerning tobecky fan-children and one child of three for that matter. Luis, he's joined by his group of friends and nuances alike. Just here to expand his growing internet clout by making a tumblr ask blog to interact with potential new fans. You can ask him and his friends any questions you like...the satisfaction of how they will answer them is non-existent. :) 

Basic understanding: Luis McCallister-Botsford and his friends will be introduced as the main ask characters for the blog. New additions might appear but it all mostly depends if ppl request or if I'm not lazy that day. Will there be plot? Honestly for now not really but it can change if there's engagement or if I'm really passionate for making one. For now it's just funny dumb typical character ask blog stuff :]

Rules:

1) It's answered in character but I will add my author notes/narrator input if needed, so NO too much fourth wall breaking questions to me unless the situation calls for it.

2) Please NO NSFW asks or questions!! These characters are all underage and i will gut you if you even try. SO NO.

3) shippy or playfully romantic questions are fine if it's obvious, but I can still determine where stuff goes or happens.

4) If i don't respond to asks on time or fail to keep up ... blame it all on Luis forgetting to update the blog/lh

5) Tone indicators are much appreciated as both in canon to the characters and to me irl running this we autistic AF.

6) This is still connected to Wordgirl so out of universe stuff is going to be set there, just in my own fucked up continuity if I allow it. So ambiguous popcultural refs are definitely okay (games gonna get mentioned a lot), plus these characters are from the future so anything is fair game...just no mention of heavy or real tragic situations. Submitting images or memes are okay. Obviously nothing graphic or I’ll get you.

7) Swearing is fine. These are teens they do it all the time. Just NO slurs.

8) No unessary rudeness or harassment. yes I know it's cringe cause these are all mostly my OCS for your fav kid show but uh...fuck you.

Fatherly advice and motherly vexation

Tobey’s definition of young love is quite different from Becky’s.

I know Lexi probably take after her mom in a lot of ways, but imagine young Lexi vowing vengeance against someone over something incredibly petty. I see one of the three happening next:

1. Becky gives Tobey a death glare as he chuckles nervously since she gets it from him

2. Same as 1 but it's in response to Tobey saying "she's a chip off the old block"

3. Tobey groaning over Lexi reminding him of that time in his life while Becky chuckles.

I imagine Lexi, especially when she was young, took a lot after her dad when he was a kid much to Becky's annoyance. Lexi has quite a temper (poor girl had that stacked against her, since both Tobey and Becky can tend to snap when things annoy them lol - though in different ways). Becky's sense of justice courses through Lexi, so her temper and outcries for vengeance tend to center around when she feels her friends or family have been wronged more than when she's been wronged. But just like her dad, young Lexi makes big theatrics over it, expect an angry 5 year-old that can snap a metal support beam in half is a bit more scary than young Tobey was.

How Becky and Tobey react to these tantrums: Definitely number 1 where on the surface Tobey feigns total embarrassment and apologizes to Becky, but on the inside, he can't stop smiling at how proud he is of his daughter and how much she's like him. She's his precious angel born from the love of him and his wife. Becky as well acts annoyed but secretly finds it endearing since Lexi tends to only get mad on the behalf of others.

Since even as an adult she's still dealing with DTB, is a majority of her Rouge gallery still up to their old tricks or have some of them retired?

Most of Wordgirl's enemies are still active in her early adult career, with a few exceptions! Tobey of course now uses his robotic prowess to help Wordgirl fight crime instead of causing it. Chuck started his own sandwich shop and realized he likes seeing admiration for his sandwich-making skills rather than seeing jail bars. Granny May finally decided to retire as the back aches from villiany were getting to be too much.

However, as Lexi (Wordgirl's daughter) first starts her superhero career, she finds she doesn't like fighting crime much and rather focus on rehabilitating villains like her mom did with her dad. She starts with her favorite, Dr Two-Brains (who I imagine has a special place in his heart for her too- crazy grunkle vibes lol).

Okay so yeah if you've seen my blog before I've gotten anonymous and side accounts messages from EC shippers or this one guy for some weeks now. I didn't share all of them since I mostly discussed this situation with friends over on discord, but it's gotten laughably pathetic with how they constantly try to spin this narrative of certain ships being toxic and that you're toxic for shipping them (mostly bigslie and tobecky) but now their just targeting things I like, for example I started shipping Amazo x Steven x Tubing, and it earned me this person saying ablelist, fatphobic, and biphobic stuff. They apparently are also in the WG server I am in as they listen on the public conservations that I make with people and take art that I haven't posted anywhere else yet.

Why am I bringing it up? Well besides it happening again that I had to turn off my inbox, it's just a tiring draining ordeal, is it amusing how sad this person's life must be to do this? Yes, but also how I can't seem to enjoy shit without someone trying to hassle my interests and creations. And yeah this shit has left a very sour taste in my mouth when it comes to Expensive Cheese as a ship and shippers. I know I'm very sorry, I'm sure most of the others in the community are cool and dope, but at this point seeing content of it is triggering, so it's nothing personal if I don't ever engage with the ship again or block artists, again it's for my own mental health and recently that had been pretty bad. I'm not here trying to cause "drama" I mean the sheer audacity to call some mope harrasing another person "drama" is beyond me, but each their own I guess. Obviously I don't know who the person is sending me this stuff, sure there are obvious candidates, but I don't think it matters, this person's goal is trying to argue and harras me over a fictional ship from a children's cartoon, trying not to give their community a bad name and silence me.... but that's definitely not working.

My Tobecky week planning and ideas (o.O)

Obviously I'm running the clock here but….. I do want to at least post and think about my ideas for the week before it officially starts tomorrow. Maybe I won't get everything done unfortunately, but it's still a thing I want to try….plus other artists and writers got us covered with their wonderful content. 

All of my Tobecky week posts are going to be art. Good art? No, but art at least. Nothing too special like comics or animatics (i would die)…. just simple pieces. I would have done writing too, but psssh compared to Patent's writing I would not be able to even amount…. plus I am in the middle of a writer's block so....

Day 1: just a simple introduction piece, nothing too grand as the other days are kicking my butt and I want to focus on that. 

Day 2: Becky and Tobey to a pretty princess convention, Becky is absolutely delighted and Tobey is there enjoying it too (even though he tries to hide it). 

Day 3: N/A, sorry I drew a blank for this one and I do want the free day for the other art and stuff. 

Day 4: Prom night photo idea, except I did it wrong and the friend group were supposed to be more prominent but I focused too much on Becky and Tobey sooo uhhhh yep.

Day 5: Middle school tobecky and a scene where I imagine Tobey gives up on villainy and Becky reveals to be Wordgirl. 

Day 6: 17-18 year old Becky and Tobey are now together and Becky breaks this news to Tobey's family….and that I mean this taking place in my Wordgirl Future timeline au where Claire and her gf (OC) reunite again and my stinky darling Eme (OC) is there as emotional plight little sister. (Yes the McCallister family actually extended its members wowie). 

Day 7: It's a McCallister-Botsford piece!! So basically older Tobecky with their kids (yay fankid excuse) just all together like in my old previous header imagine…expect updated.
