She secretly has a shark plushie back at home (Kanoa got that for her). 🦈 HATES the cold. It always makes her nose runny and needs a lair of coats and scarfs to keep her warm. 🦈 Heat doesn’t bother her. Even wearing long sleeves and putting her hair down under the heated weather. Background Story: (WARNING: Might mention about Sexual Abuse and Kidnapping)

In American Samoa on November 19th, 1997. Tiala was born. And she was the youngest one in the family.

After two years of Tiala being born, her older brother (Hōne) had left to the Marine but he would always come back home to spend time with his family.

When Tiala turned 16-years-old, it was her birthday. She had received very sad news from Kanoa. Kanoa came back from the Marines to tell them the news that Hōne had sadly passed away from the mission that he was sent to. Which really upset Tiala. She could feel her heart was crying out for her dearly older brother. For he had promised that he’ll come back home on her special day. So she hadn’t celebrated her birthday much since then.

During her Sophomore Year in High School, she was still 16. Tiala had a crush on a boy who was part of the football team. And she was trying to ask him out before their Christmas break. And to her excitement, he accepted. She had thought that she had found love in her life. But little did she know that her happy love life would turn out dark.

After the summer break, Tiala is a Junior in High School. Her boyfriend has been acting pretty touchy lately. NOT in a good way though. More like touching the part that she doesn’t want him to touch. Which made him upset. And she doesn’t want him to be upset. So she let him have his fun.

Until the year of her being a Senior, her boyfriend had been getting a bit more possessive than being lovely. And it worried her that she needed to talk with her family. But that’s when he pulls the threats on her if she EVER tells anyone about this. She hesitated and didn’t tell anyone. Except that her little brother, named Hemi, saw what her boyfriend was doing in the back of the school. Hemi was being sent by their parents to check on Tiala that they’re there to pick her up. He was going to tell their parents but Tiala begged him not to. So he just gave in and didn’t tell their parents.

And on the night of the Senior Prom. The school let the Senior students bring some of their family members to join in this special occasion. So Tiala happily invited her parents and some of her brothers. Which is only Rangi, Kanoa and Hemi. The night was going so well until Tiala’s boyfriend wanted to take her away from the party so they could have their “FUN” which she doesn’t want to. And that’s when he started to get very pushy at it. Which caught Hemi’s attention to see his older sister being pulled away. So calling the two older brothers. Kanoa and Rangi quickly came in and took Tiala back before warning the boyfriend to stay away. Soon the whole crowd’s attention was on them as the boyfriend was getting pissed off. Starting to yell at Tiala and blaming her for being such a boring kind of partner. And that’s when he confessed that he cheated on her with another girl. Which fueled Kanoa’s anger but instead of HIM beating the boyfriend up. Everyone was surprised to see Hemi ran in and tackled him down. Beating him up instead. One of the teachers pulled the two boys away and ended the party.

(Everyone was alright. Just Hemi’s knuckles were being bruised up and he was 11-years-old! Can you believe that?)

After graduation, Tiala had started to plan on joining the Marine Corps with her two brothers. To honor for Hōne. So they started packing and the two older boys took her to Hawaii. Where the camping of the Marine soldiers will be at. She had worked long and hard to finish her test and training. Which was worth it for she had passed all of it. And the two older brothers were very proud. She was 17-years-old when she joined.

So Tiala had taken the position as Staff Sergeant after serving for 4 years and she had made quite a few friends. But her two main friends who she had met are Staff Sergeant Ela Anand and Master Sergeant Herman Black. The two had always made her feel so welcoming ever since she joined in. And the three had been picked by an unnamed Colonel who needed soldiers to help assist to stop the human trafficking. And he did warn them about how dangerous this could be. The three friends were excited for this mission but Tiala’s older brother, Rangi, disapproved of this. He had his concerns for her as this was her FIRST mission and were afraid that something bad might happen. Kanoa had reassured Rangi that she’ll be fine. He will go with her to keep her safe. Tiala agreed with this term even the Colonel agreed as well.

They have traveled to Baja California. The borderline of part Mexico. The team had gotten an intel about Human Trafficking in that area. They have believed that the Drug Cartel is making deals with the other Trafficker who was doing Human Trafficking. So they have to act fast to stop them. The Colonel had already made orders to separate two different teams. Which Tiala is going with Ela and Herman and the others. But Kanoa cannot go as he is going with the Colonel and the other teams. Tiala had reassured her older brother that she’ll be fine since she’s going with her two friends. The two different teams had already split up as they went to look for the Cartel. But Tiala and her team have been ambushed and kidnapped by them. This was in May 2017.

3 months later. Tiala and her two friends are the only ones who are still alive. They don’t know what these cartel people do to their other team members but they have to stay strong and hope that the other marines will come to their rescue. But after a few weeks, Tiala had seen Herman had been dragged out of his cell first and was being pushed by the men. She doesn’t know what they’ll do to him. But her question has been answered by the sound of guns shooting and some people screaming. Her eyes widened at this and felt Ela hugging her and trying to comfort her. They need to get out of here and FAST.

At the very last week of the month, Ela had already had a plan to escape. And Tiala agreed to go through it. The two had already escaped from their cell and put down most of the enemies who were blocking them. And all they have to do is to go over the wall. Ela wanted Tiala to go first and was about to boost her up before being shot. Tiala was devastated and shocked as she saw her only friend had died in her own blood. She was taken back and was dealing with her PUNISHMENT. Which you will know of how she got her burnt scar on her tattoos. And already losing her virginity.

2 months later, Tiala was slowly losing her emotions and her insanity as she kept working for those bastards. As they were having their fun. And today was her last day to be living in this cruel world. FINALLY. Before they could even take her, there was a sudden shooting in the area. And even BIG explosions. Who could it be?

It was the Marines. And her brother Kanoa was the one who was leading and had found her. So he took Tiala quickly to the medical area back to the base. October 2017.

Tiala was released from the Marines just to let her rest and hopefully recovered both mentally and physically. She wasn’t the same from then. She didn’t want any of her brothers or her father to come near her. Even though they are her family she couldn’t get the images about those MEN out of her head. Every time they come near. She’ll scream or flinched when they are present. Which really hurts their hearts.

It’s been 2 months that Tiala has to recover and still didn’t let any of her brothers or her father come near. Until, Kanoa had an idea. While Tiala was just resting on her bed, looking through the window. She suddenly hears someone singing outside of her room. So curiously, she slowly walked out of her room and into the living room before seeing Kanoa was playing the guitar while singing their favorite church song. Called “A Pei Se Vaitafe” (Like a River). And she slowly walked over to Kanoa as memories flowed through her mind of how Hōne used to sing that song to her. And sat down next to him as she softly sang along with him. Her whole family slowly peeked in to see this and was very touched to see Tiala had finally come out to her family.

Before the Summer starts, in the year of 2018. Tiala had come back all fresh and new. For she wanted to continue to serve for her lost friends and brother. And then she heard that Kanoa was making a Task Force. She was also being asked by the General, named Alana and the one who was helping Kanoa to form a team for his Task Force, if she wanted to join. So she didn’t hesitate to take it and was placed in to be Kanoa’s Second-in-Command. That’s when she met the other two new members of the team. Sergeant Agnes “Blast” Falagi and Dr. Aelan Kalani. The two soldiers who were the one who helped Kanoa to save her. And she had given her thanks and accepted them into their new team.

Collison 4/11/23

Happy 69

Collison opens with a montage of promos. When it came to Swerve Strickland, he cut off by AR Fox who attacked him. The brawl spilled out to the arena during the opening pyro. Swerve got the win, thus carrying his momentum heading into his match with Adam Page. The post-match had all the main event players coming out for a brawl.

This would be one of tree singles matches as the rest featured multi-man competition, which was not a bad thing in hindsight as it opened up the spotlight to showcase wrestlers that have fallen into the abyss.

The Kingdom won a squash match against James McGregor and Brixton Nash. I don’t recall seeing Matt Taven or Mike Bennett being featured outside ROH, so this was good to see. I was kind of hoping that Taven would incorporate the giraffe into his gear because I think it would be hilarious. Roderick Strong did a post-match knee and imminently milked his neck again. It’s good to see this team do something rather then just be relegated to promos.

Lance Archer returned with Jake ''The Snake'' Roberts to take on Darby Allin. Allin was ragged dolled a lot. He took a choke slam followed by another choke slam on the outside edge of the ring. Allin prevailed with a Destroyer off the top rope to win. Jake Robert’s announces that he has brought in The Righteous. This looks like set up for Darby, String and Adam Copeland vs. Lance and The Righteous. Archer will fit in nicely with The Righteous, but I'm not sure if it's long term.

Skye Blue and Kris Statlander still have friction between them as Blue explains to Statlander she misted Julia Hart only for Willow because they're friends. This looks to be leading to Blue vs. Statlander with Willow stuck in the middle (maybe a triple threat?). Willow also picked up a win over Emi Sakura in a decent match up. Willow needed this victory as she hasn't picked up a win in quite a while.

We got a surprise appearance from Kip Sabian who teamed with The Workhorsemen to face off against Mark Briscoe/Dusty Rhodes/Keith Lee. This was a short but fun match. I’m glad that Kip and Lee got TV time. Kip is so good and deserves more time on Collison going forward. Lee will also get a match on Dynamite against Samoa Joe with Briscoe challenging Jay White for his spot at Full Gear. I'm glad to see the gears turning in the right direction here.

The Acclaimed celebrated 69 days as AEW Trios Champions. The chemistry between all three were on display and it was an amusing segment until Dalton Castle and The Boys came to the ring. I often chastise WWE for doing this, so I’m going to chastise AEW here. I hate it when wrestlers make the matches on the spot. Doing so in kayfabe makes the company look unprofessional and lazy for not planning out TV time. The match wasn’t half bad though. The segment also featured MJF admitting that he liked The Acclaimed and sees Max Caster as a friend, so expect more team ups.

The main event was FTR/LFI (Preston Vance & Rush with Jose the Assistant & Dralistico) vs. Big Bill & Ricky Starks and Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona). I just don't care for Kaun and Liona because I don't know anything about them. Who are they? What are they fighting for? I would have preferred Dralistico over Vance in this match. Post match had The House of Black attacked FTR, with Claudio and Yuta making the save.

This Collision featured talent we haven't seen in a while. And I'm glad the fall out is spilling into Dynamite. I hope this is not a case of showing certain talent, then tossing them away for months. This seems to be a problem with AEW. Look at the Miro/CJ Perry storyline. One moment they are both featured heavily, and now they just Perry only gets a mention and Miro gets a quick cameo. I hope Dynamite delivers with story progression.

Here's my thoughts from tonight's dynamite

Hook vs Samoa Joe main event, ok I'm totally not nervous at all. This video package feels like it's a ppv. Ok but Hook's voice 😍 he needs to talk more. His slow walk oml.

Christian Cage vs Dustin Rhodes where did this match come from. I hate how Christian walks and I don't know why. Nick Wayne though 😍. Dustin's theme reminds of his Goldust theme. I honestly think Christian is going to win. Christian got yeeted over those steps oml. I feel like Dustin has been wrestling for 100 years, but I might actually cry when he retires. Hopefully he has a match for his retirement match. Not Nick trying to cheat. Yes Dustin, yambag jones, yambag city like Taz said. Dustin beat Nick's ass. Yess, get Nick out of here. (I love you Nick) Christian taking Adam's move 🫨 what did I say Christian was gonna win.

Feels like a lot of shakeup here, for a variety of reasons: The departure of CM Punk and the suspension of Jack Perry, MJF and Adam Cole becoming a hot babyface team, the dissolution of Chris Jericho's stable, and multiple guys returning to prominence on Collision.

It might seem weird to rank Danielson as the top babyface when he's clearly part of a heel faction. All I know is everybody loved him at Forbidden Door, and he was clearly playing babyface against Starks this weekend. Does that mean a turn or a breakup in the Blackpool Combat Club's future? I doubt it. Either way, I'm sure Danielson will be back to kicking puppies or whatever soon enough.

It's striking to me how Cassidy and Kingston have risen up through the ranks, but I also think it's worth callint out how pivotal Samoa Joe has become. He's become a fixture on Collision and ROH, and now he's mixing it up with MJF. It's strange to me that he's running around with ROH's midcard title when he's being pushed ahead of Castagnoli. Maybe those two need to face off one of these days.

I'm actually not sure if the Outrunners are supposed to be faces or heels, but I like 'em, so there. I'm also not sure how long Rey Fenix is supposed to be out selling the injury angle from two weeks ago.

Conspicuous by their absence on this list is the Kigndom, Matt Taven and Mike Bennett, who are obviously being set up for a big match with Cole and MJF. At this point I don't see anyone else taking the ROH tag title from the champs, but very little about the Cole/MJF story has gone the way I expected. Maybe they could headline Final Battle in December?

As for the AEW tag title, I assume FTR vs. Gunns is the next step, but there's probably another FTR-Bucks showdown coming sooner or later. If Santana and Ortiz are really sticking together, they need to get back in the title hunt. I suspect Silver and Reynolds are out of the running after losing last night--they'll probably get back to trios matches with Evil Uno.

It's still hard to tell which trios are sticking together long term, and which ones are just thrown together for a couple of matches before going their separate ways again. As it stands, though, we've got a few heel teams for Billy and the Acclaimed to fight for a while. Cage's team has mostly defended their ROH title in glorified squash matches; if they're building them up to be unseated by a serious team, I have no idea when that will happen.

The heel side looks very strong until you recall that many of them have only had one televised AEW match all month. Nevertheless, it feels like it's time for some women to turn face, and I suppose the breakup of Storm, Saraya, and Soho will help in that regard. Thing is, the women's roster has more than enough talent to get 10 faces and 10 heels on TV regularly; they just don't for some reason. Maybe if Mercedes Mone comes in that will change, but experience has taught me that it'll take more than that.

Most of the names here are not what you'd call key players on the weekly ROH shows. In other words, the real backbone of the ROH roster is mostly people wrestlers who aren't exclusive to either brand, like Athena, Willow, Joe, Dalton, etc. That's working out as far as the quality of both brands, but I'm not sure it's a good strategy for establishing a unique brand identity for ROH.

Mogul Embassy vs Pandemonium, Alex Shelley, & Samoa Joe

Starting in the ring tonight, two men who both have a case at being two of the most physically intimidating men we’ve seen in an MPW ring. Samoa Joe & Toa Liona of the Gates of Agony. Referee Jake Clemons calls for the bell, and we are officially underway! The two competitors get nose to nose, continuing to trash talk one another. Joe shoves Liona in the face, but Toa simply spins around, laughs, and walks back over, giving Joe another shove. “What you got, bitch?” Liona shouts, practically right in Joe’s face, who responds by shoving Liona down to the mat. Toa gets back up, and shoves Joe again, but this time as Joe tries to shove Toa, Toa spins and slips behind Joe, trapping him in a waist lock. Joe manages to pull Toa’s hands apart and trap his arm, before twisting it around and applying a wrist lock. Toa manages to roll through though, and trapping Joe’s leg, is able to gain the leverage to reverse it and put Joe in a wrist lock of his own, wrenching the arm and applying pressure to Joe’s shoulder. Joe twists it around, though, and manages to trap Toa in a hammer lock, getting behind him and really twisting the arm. Toa manages to pick his way out of it though, and slips behind Joe, pulling him into a headlock, wrenching down on Joe’s head and neck as much as possible. Joe puts his foot on the back of Toa’s knee to force Toa down to a knee, before managing to slip out of the headlock and apply one of his own. 

Toa manages to twist out of the headlock, with a little bit of help from grabbing and pulling on Joe’s hair, before twisting around and trapping Joe’s arm in a half Kimura, forcing Joe down to the mat, and actually getting Joe’s shoulders down!

1… Kickout!

Joe manages to roll over and kick out, but that just gives Toa better control and leverage over the arm, which is what he could’ve been going for. Toa twists Joe’s arm around for a wrist lock and controls the elbow as well, twisting the arm in a painful angle! Joe manages to twist out of it though, and gets Toa to the mat with a headlock takedown. Joe wrenches down on that until Toa manages to roll Samoa Joe over and get his shoulders down on the mat.

1… Kickout!

Joe rolls back over and continues wrenching down on the headlock. Toa manages to fight back up to his knees, though, and once again slip out and goes right after Joe’s arm, twisting it painfully. Joe’s strength is the core of his offense, consisting of many powerful slams. If Toa takes the arm away, most of Joe’s offense goes out the window, and that appears to be the gameplan tonight. Joe manages to roll through, and slip behind Toa, before picking Toa up and throwing him across the ring! The strength of Joe is astonishing! Toa rolls to the corner as Joe tries to roll his shoulder, trying to work the pain out of his arm. Joe goes back at Toa, but Toa reaches up and rakes Joe’s eyes! Joe stumbles away, clutching at his eyes as Carr lectures Toa about staying away from the eyes. Toa tags in Bishop Kaun, Kaun getting into the ring and nailing Joe in the face with a big forearm to the jaw. Joe tries to get back to his feet, but Bishop Kaun answers by peppering Samoa Joe Joe with a couple of chops to the chest. Joe answers with a chop of his own, and Kaun actually walks to the corner, and lets out a very visible “OW!” in response to that chop. Joe catches Kaun with an axe handle to the back, causing Kaun’s knees to buckle, but Kaun turns around and catches Joe with a boot to the gut to get Joe to back up. Kaun grabs a handful of Joe’s hair and slams it into the turnbuckle, causing Joe to stumble back into the ropes. Kaun tries to go after him, but Joe catches Kaun with a boot to the gut. He follows it up with an elbow to the back of the neck, dropping Kaun to his knees! Joe tries to pick Kaun back up, but Kaun responds with two stiff forearms, before Joe tries to send Kaun into the ropes, but on the rebound Kaun manages to spin and drop Samoa Joe with a Rolling Elbow, taking the Intense Icon down! Joe rolls to his corner, trying to recover, and Alex Shelley reaches into the ring, making the tag on Joe, and jumping into the ring, immediately taking down Kaun with a clothesline! 

Kaun gets back up, only to immediately be dropped with a flying heel kick from Shelley, before Shelley picks him back up and sends him into the corner, before Shelley charges in, leaps, and nearly takes Kaun’s head off with a BIG high knee! Shelley then drops Kaun with a bulldog, before Shelley goes to head up top! Shelley climbs to the top rope and sets his feet, but as he tries to get set, Toa Liona charges over and tries to mess with him. Shelley kicks Liona off the apron, but as he tries to reset, Kaun is up, charging, and throwing Shelley off the top rope with an overhead Belly to Belly! Shelley hits the mat HARD, and rolls back to his feet, and gets dropped by a big running knee from Bishop Kaun! Kaun covers Shelley!

1….2… Kickout!

Alex Shelley out at two, but Bishop Kaun immediately has Shelley trapped in a headlock, as Toa Liona reaches in and gets the tag on Kaun, wanting some revenge for that kick to the face. Kaun continues to hold Shelley with a headlock, as Liona hits the ropes, before taking Shelley’s head off with a low dropkick! Kaun out of the ring as Liona gets a cover on Shelley. 

1….2… Kickout!

Shelley out at two again. Toa Liona picks Shelley back up, and sends him into the ropes, Shelley charging back at Liona, Liona looking for a back body drop, but Shelley kicks Liona in the head, standing Liona up, before Liona tries to charge Shelley. Shelley twists Liona around, looking for the Neckbreaker, but Liona escapes, hits the ropes, allowing Swerve to get the blind tag on Liona, and on the rebound, Shelley manages to scoop Liona up, before dropping Liona with a big Michunoku Driver! Shelley goes to cover, but there’s some confusion as referee Carr doesn’t count, saying Liona isn’t legal, before Swerve blindsides Shelley with a huge Superkick! Shelley is turned inside out, as Swerve gets up, shouting at and taunting members of the MPW audience here in San Jose, not realizing that Shelley managed to get back to his corner, and make the tag to Pandemonium! Swerve turns back around, only to eat a flying boot to the face from the fromer Stardust Champion! 

Pan picked Swerve’s arm and trapped him in a wrist lock, trying to turn it around into a hammerlock, but Swerve managed to drop down and escape, trapping Pan in a headlock, and squeezing it, putting a lot of pressure down on Pan’s head. Swerve continued to apply pressure until Pan managed to worm her way out of it, and pick Swerve’s arm again, trying to twist it before trapping it and hammering away at Swerve’s head with a couple of elbows, before trying to lock in an arm bar that Swerve blocks by locking his hands. Swerve manages to scoot himself over to the ropes on the outside and used those to pull himself out of the ring, and away from Pandemonium, saving his arm for the time being. Swerve rolled to the outside and shook his arm out, creating some space between him and the former Stardust Champion. Pandemonium rolled to the outside and went right after Swerve, grabbing him and catching him with a chop to the chest, but Swerve fired back and sent Pandemonium stumbling backwards. Swerve grabbed a chair from ringside and swung, cracking it over Pandemonium’s back, causing Pandemonium to drop to his knees and cry out in pain. Pan has to grit her teeth and fight through it. Hardcore matches weren’t her forte, but she’d be damned if she backed down from any member of the Fallen, no matter who. Swerve smirks before whacking Pandemonium with the chair again before tossing it into the ring. Swerve grabbed Pandemonium and whipped her into the guardrail, sending Pandemonium’s back crashing against the steel! Swerve began to dig under the ring, looking for some other weapons he could use to punish Pandemonium. Swerve grabbed a door out from under the ring, and went to toss that into the ring as well, but as he turned around looking for another chair from the ringside area, he was tossed one by Pandemonium. Before he could realize what was happening, Pandemonium jumped up and dropkicked the chair, sending it right into Swerve’s face! Swerve’s head snapped back as steel bounced off skull, and Swerve looked like he might have been knocked unconscious by that! 

Pandemonium grabbed Swerve and rolled him back into the ring, before Pandemonium began to dig around underneath the ring for another weapon to use. In for a penny, in for a pound, and if Swerve wanted to get hardcore tonight, Pan would meet him in the middle on it. Pandemonium pulled a door out from underneath the ring, and slides it into the ring, taking the time to set up the door in the corner of the ring. Pan pounds on the door a few times, trying to get the crowd behind her, but Pandemonium turned around and marched up to Swerve to grab him, before Pandemonium could do anything, Swerve scooped her up into a fireman’s carry, before driving her through the door in the corner with a Death Valley Driver! Swerve dragged Pan out of the corner and went for the cover!

1….2… Broken up!

Samoa Joe, the former AEW World Champion, breaks up the pin! Swerve clutches the back of his head, before Joe grabs one of the halves of the door Swerve broke, smashing it over Swerve’s head! Swerve crumples as Joe gets Pan back into the team’s corner, making an official tag, Joe now legal as he gets back into the ring and goes back at Swerve. Swerve crawled towards the middle of the ring, but he’s stopped by Joe, who traps him in a waist lock, trying to lift him up into a German Suplex, but Swerve manages to fight out of it, before sliding out behind Joe, and grabbing one of the steel chairs. Swerve tosses the chair, connecting with Joe in the head as Joe turns around, staggering the champion! Swerve quickly grabs another chair, setting it up, before charging at Joe, jumping up onto him, and driving Joe’s head into the chair with a leaping DDT! Swerve makes the cover!

1….2…Kickout! 

Joe out at two! Swerve gets back to his feet and tags back in Liona, before shitcanning Samoa Joe out of the ring, and starting to brawl with him on the outside. Liona stares down the downed Pandemonium, the only competitor still in the ring, before lifting her up by the throat, lifting her from practically prone to all the way up in the air, looking for a chokeslam, but Pan was playing possum, and manages to reposition herself, locking in the Peruvian Necktie! Liona is fading fast, and has no choice but to tap!
