Part 23: The End

And here it is! The end! Leo also gets a night to just.. relax, be him.

I'll leave the sentiment ramble under the cut:

Seeing this comic end saddens me as much as it excites me. I have so much more planned for this account, this fandom (I have a seperated Au in the works), so this is not goodbye.

But this comic brought me to a community that has made my life better. The rottmnt community I've found here is one I wouldn't trade for the world. I love the friends I've made and this space I found where I can enjoy creating again. I made this comic for me, and even here at the end, I still enjoyed making it.

And this isn't quite the end of Two Shades of Blue either! I can't provide a date, but I do want to make an epilogue where Leon goes to see the other turtles again.

AND ANOTHER THING-!

To add onto my frustration on the set up of A Chinatown Ghost Story- Donnie’s constant glares in the direction of the dagger/dagger hilt. I mean, Ho Chan isn’t out there blowing up hospitals and stabbing children. And yet, it’s made very obvious that Donnie despises Ho Chan from the moment that they meet.

Donnie only knows two things about this guy.

One is that he kidnapped April. Something the Kraang have done and keep trying to do. You don’t see Donnie looking at them like that.

And what could two be? Oh, I don’t know…

ENSLAVING HIS BROTHERS, MAYBE???

He is seething through this entire episode and it is severely downplayed. How do you make something so obvious and neglect it?

And Ho Chan is screaming as Donnie closes him in the dagger.

AND DONNIE STRAIGHT SMIRKS.

This child has a vendetta.

And Donnie is the one who keeps villain memorabilia on shelves in his lab! His “collectibles” from all kinds of fights and battles that they’ve overcome or that have endangered their lives.

You know what I expected him to do with that dagger?

NOT THROW IT IN THE OCEAN, THAT’S FOR SURE.

This episode clearly had some effect on him.

Enough that he dragged his brothers to the dock because he wanted that dagger as far from him and his family as possible.

So why did absolutely nothing happen with this???
