#Tlm Payback

hi everyone so like, i know at least some of you guys read my tlm fic "Payback" and uhh this is kinda awkward and so sorry but uh

im kinda struggling with how the story should go since i have two options both i want to do but ultimately they end up kinda the same

bit of a spoiler warning for the fic though

so choice no.1 is Emmet actually leaves his friends and doesn't come back for them, doesn't regret his choice (well maybe a lil, but not enough for his to go back)

and choice no.2 Emmet regrets leaving them there and goes back to save them

so why i like no. 1 is because it provides more angst, more action (i think???) and is more hurt/comfort, and Emmet needs to soften up to them before they reconcile and angry Emmet

i like no.2 because its shows that revenge is not always a good thing, and that Emmet is already sad so it can also be hurt/comfort in a way, and Emmet is just a sad boy and has more of an opportunity to become friends with all of them again

though, there could be a choice no.3 where i just make 2 versions of the same fic, one with choice 1 and the other with choice 2 what do yall think?
