Satoru forgets how strong you are—when just after a petty argument he tries to hold your hand, but your fist wouldn’t come undone so easily. Not until he has to use two hands to carefully pry them open without hurting you as he sticks out his tongue in concentration. When he eventually succeeds, his lips stretch into a grin at your intertwined fingers and a chuckle erupts from him when you stick your middle finger up because you’re still mad at him.

“Baby, you’re killing me here. I already said I was sorry! C’mon, don’t be like that, sweets.” Satoru gently forces it down and brings your hand in his toward him to pepper loud smooches on your knuckles, and you hate how that made you crack a smile. He notices this and returns your smile with his cheek squished against your hand and he gazes at you so sweetly, “Have you forgiven me yet, angel?”
