#Tina and Mouse demon lore...

The demon lore of all three of our demon characters has been ramping up a ton lately, it’s not just me that notices it right? and it really feels like they’re all connecting together too

q!tina’s current lore exploring her emotions about herself & her relation to the other two demons on the island. tina, scared and being watched by an unknown threatening demonic force. mouse instantly understanding what was happening with tina and why she’d be afraid, without barely having to be told anything about it

mouse revealing more details of her own past, and explaining the difference between demons that were turned vs those who were born as demons, confirming the natures of all 3 of them. q!bad’s current lore of death, immortality & memory impacting all of his friends, which perfectly is aligning with discussions of those Exact topics from both mouse and tina recently. mouse once again instantly understanding what was happening with q!bad’s mind, saying that he just “needs some time” and “it works different for him” without barely having to be told anything about it.

feels like they all know things, and are weaving different but connected areas of a complex demon lore tapestry. it’s so exciting!!! makes me curious about the behind the scenes discussion that must’ve gone into this worldbuilding

i’ve also been wondering if the lore is advancing more recently because of the nether unlock happening soon? after q!mouse’s comment the other day about “getting powered-up in the nether” that’s been on my mind

Right today made my brain start thinking about demon lore so I did some research:

- BBH has hinted at being a fallen angel and is now a demon/grim reaper and while not ashamed, is secretive about it

- Tina basically confirmed she's a fallen angel or at least wasn't always a demon today and she is heavily ashamed of it and her "past of sin"

- Mouse is very comfortable and considers herself a natural demon with the Nether as her home (specifically Puerto Rico, canonically in hell)

And Mouse today said that natural demons aren't evil because that's just who they are while those turned demon are evil. And Tina basically implied that that was why she wasn't open about her identity because even other demons have those beliefs so how can she trust humans to not think of her like that.

However, cc!Mouse as a vtuber has demon lore that states she has an angelic form and the qsmp wiki states that shes a fallen angel of sorts (had a disagreement with god and was cast out) so if they are intertwined in some way:

1. We know more about Mouse Demon lore

And 2. All three of them are fallen angels (fell at different times: Bad the eldest, Mouse middle and Tina youngest)

So I think what Mouse means is that 'natural' demons also include fallen angels, since demons and angels are two sides of the same coin, and are just who they are, not inherently evil, but those that turn demon, like what happens when you get infected by black concrete, are evil. But because she has never explained about her potentially being a fallen angel and (while Tina does refer to the Nether as 'home') Tina doesn't think of herself as a natural demon like Mouse, there is a miscommunication and it's putting her into an even deeper well of internalised hate because even other demons would think of her as evil if they knew the truth of her past.

Also after today definitely it means that Tina is either lying about how much she knows of her past (which wouldn't be too much of a reach because she's hiding a major part of her identity that would be kind of hard to ignore) or they couldn't wipe the memories of the distant past so she remembers falling.

Today was a lot and I feel like I'm missing stuff but also it's 6am so I should sleep before this consumes my every waking thought.

So uhhhhhh correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure we just got canon confirmation that demons come from the nether? I'm pretty sure it's the first time we've gotten that particular piece of info???

It's been alluded to, but I think Mouse just canonically confirmed it today?? (Again, correct me if I'm wrong)

All this to say: WELL, NOW I HAVE EVEN MORE QUESTIONS

I'm not sure how canon to QSMP mousey's vtuber lore is but for those who haven't seen it, this is who the character ironmouse is supposed to be, I have to wonder how they've worked her demon lore in with Tina and BBHs. Genuinely, It's something I've thought about since she joined:

so what i'm putting together from osmosis and the wonderful livebloggers and the incredible arkanis english updates account is something like this

Prefeito Jota: Hello, I'd like to hire you to investigate what happened in my city/island(?)!

Bagi, who was previously "invited" to a mysterious island/city by its elected official, subsequently trapped on the mysterious island/city, investigated the deep mysterious history of the island/city, came to no conclusions, found her brother after years of searching, was separated once again from her brother, gained and lost an adopted daughter (possibly to being kidnapped by the island government, which was evil), gained and lost a demon fiancée (possibly to being dragged back to hell, so there's no way to find her), gained and lost a close demon friend to dubious circumstance (did he die for his children? is he with skeppy in the gas station?), and has had an unknown amount of time to process and/or suppress all of this: Sure! :D

I swear, Bad, Mouse, and Tina must have like a demon lore gc/google doc for when they just add random tidbits of lore. All three of them do such subtle lore and love dropping tiny tidbits of random ass lore whenever they feel like it. They all have to keep track of it in someway right??

ANOTHER THING that's gonna be so hype when the next installment of q!Bad comes up: How the rest of the demon lore will grow, especially as we get closer to opening the Nether.

For starters, obviously q!Tina's gonna be fucking livid when she figures out that q!Bad rejected returning to Heaven after so many millennium of walking this world without its light. Do you think she'll understand, tho, if q!Bad chooses to explain himself to her? Or will she continue to shun him as a fool for whatever reason?

How do you think q!Mouse will feel? Do you think she'll feel pride in him for not turning to such a basic fallen angel instinct and choosing the land of the living?

It's all so much to think about and it's amazing!

First, qTina started off flying (was a bug & not planned but she went with it as part of her lore)

(About her flying) “I won’t do it again.  I swear to God. I won’t do it again. I was kidding ok? I was just um- Listen, I should never do stuff like that to gain advantage over others. I won’t do it, I promise. No watchers necessary.”

Fire starts to appear out of nowhere around her and Em.

*covers Em underground* “I have no intentions of coming home. So fuck off! Ok? Leave me be.”

More fire appears.

“I’m just starting to think that some people are really mad at me, but it’s just because you know, a girl spread her wings a little bit, and that’s fine. It’s fine to spread your wings! It's fine. But maybe I shouldn’t have because it was for a dumb reason.” 

Em :”did you do anything bad?”

”No, I just did a little flying, you know, flying is not bad. Your Uncle Philza does it all the time! Like if I do it, what’s so wrong?”

Em :”yeah flying is fun i bet :D”

”It is but I shouldn’t have done it because now they’re after me, they’re gonna drag me down, they’re gonna drag me back.”

Then a key named “you” appeared in her inventory.

”They’re coming, they’re coming back and I don’t want them to, I’m not strong enough yet to protect you or me or your mom or anyone”

Em :”who?”

”I don’t know really, it’s hard to say.”

Another key appears, named “We will be waiting”

“Some demon have wings. It’s you know, there’s lava everywhere.”

“It’s not just flying. It comes with stuff, you know? like…It’s sin. It's a great sin. It’s not some theme park ride, ok? It comes with trauma, baggage, sin, hellfire, bad things, torture…you’ve gotta do crazy things to become like this, you get me?”

“Well…there's a lot of reasons why enjoying what you love can be bad. It's just um- Maybe if you enjoy to not be such a great person you know? Enjoying to be bad is bad. That is the demon way. You heard Mouse. They don’t really understand the difference between good or bad sometimes, they think it’s just fun labels that they slap on shit but there is a very distinct difference, ok?”

Em :”Do you not like mami mouse?”

“I love Mouse. I love her and you know, I don’t really know what Mouse has done or she was just born that way and as far as I know, she’s just a little bit crazy, she doesn’t seem inherently evil, just chaotic”

Empanada expressed wanting to become a demon so she could be immortal and stay with her moms forever

Tina said she never thought of it like that, but immortality is lonely

Tina explained that terrible things have to be happen for someone to turn into a demon

Radiation masks the demon sulfur smell, according to q!Bagi. Tina considered going to touch it

Tina can’t understand how Bagi isn’t able to smell she’s a demon, and feels awkward because of it. she reasoned Bagi must be a liar.

Mouse almost outed her in front of Bagi. when they were alone, Tina told her to shut her trap and Mouse apologized

Mouse said stealing stuff is the demon way!

Mouse told Tina she shouldn’t be afraid to talk about her heritage, because people have changed their views, they aren’t as anti-demon as before & many are pro-demon

Tina said she is afraid of a past of sin + being a chaotic person. Mouse got philosophical explaining that sin is a human invention, it’s not our invention. are things wrong because they say it’s wrong?

Empanada asked if Tina was like Mouse, and she answered they’re alike in some ways, but not exactly.

Tina answered she’s not happy to be a demon and that “most of them aren’t… if they were aware, not blissfully ignorant. they like their ways.”

Mouse answered that she does not think it’s bad to be a demon, she’s super proud to be one

Tina said demons are evil incarnate. Mouse said no they aren’t.

Mouse explained there’s a difference between being turned into a demon and being born as a demon. those who are turned into demons are evil, those who were born as one are not evil.

Tina said “doesn’t that solve a lot of questions.” and quietly growled at Mouse when she said Tina should be proud…

Demon Trio rambling because I genuinely love cubito demon lore so much!!

First off, although I do want demon/immortal lore to be talked about more on the server I genuinely love that the whole mysteriousness of it allows fans to create so many headcanons about the worldbuilding, the characters, and their history. It's so cool how people can say different things about these Minecraft demons and we can all say they're true and valid because we really don't know much about the demons in canon.

So q!Bad has hinted at a fallen angel past multiple times before, and surprisingly, he is the one we know most about. But we also know q!Mouse is a pure demon in the sense that she was most likely born and raised in the Nether- from this info we can also gather that not all demons are fallen angels which is so cool! Q!Mouse said she can sense a demon's presence simply by their smell which is how she was able to find out about q!Tina and q!Bad despite their apprehension and efforts to hide their nature. Them hiding the fact that they are demons led to q!Mouse being insecure about her demon nature herself. From that we can gather demons are probably not very welcomed in the Overworld and have many stigmas against them.

Another thing that's kinda crazy is how out of all the three demons, q!Tina is the one we know little to nothing about. We know she shaves her horns and feels very ashamed that she is a demon, but we don't really know why. And that opens up so many theories and possibilities about her character.

Anyways, this is really just a huge ramble of me gushing about q!demons because I really love to see everyone's headcanons about them and little theories that further expands the world Quesadilla Island is in!

Empanada you will always be my favourite egg TRUELY ONE OF US!! Constantly trying to start Tina demon lore!!! We've got so much today and I love the admins for it.

- first the 'Dating as a Demon' book and Bagi listening in on the majority of the convo

- then Em breaking the news of her one life and saying she wants to be a demon and constantly asking questions at the slightest mention from Tina

- Bagi bringing up the demon smell thing again around Tina while Mouse is irradiated so had lost her smell

- Tina thinking that Bagi knows and is lying to her - which she kind of is but it's because she wants Tina to be comfortable and bring it up

- Mouse saying that turning into a demon is bad (both Tina and Bad) but being born one isn't (Mouse)

I've noticed that mouse and bbh both have like. Weird BDSM straps on their outfit and decided to rope that into my demon culture - so here's a doodle of them giving Tina a more demon centric fashion makeover!!!

The chest harness piece has faux demon wings on the back, because I have a hc that Tina unfortunately chopped off her tail and wings long ago 😔 but that doesn't mean they can't make her feel more included anyway!!! >:D

god i want more qsmp demon culture lore bc it’s implied that they have a culture based on mouse, tina, and bad’s conversations with each other. Mouse is very proud of her identity, while Tina and Bad hides it, and it’s most likely because of how they are perceived and treated as demons.

Pls pls give me more qsmp 🤲
