Night Raven College: A (Loose) Year's Timeline

I got frustrated that I couldn't find a timeline of events for Disney Twisted Wonderland, to help me figure out which "yearly" events happened when and at what time of year each Story happened during.

So, like the Madwoman I am, I tried to make one of my own.

Just so you know, this is based on when they happen in a single year and not which years they happen at the school (since, despite game logic, I refuse to believe that insanity happens in a single year), as well as the rough estimate of when each overblot happened based on context clues and irl events they match and when the game holds them. (please note, this doesn’t include the Japan-exclusive events)

Since NRC is 4 year school, I would assume that some events wouldn’t be yearly or happen in the same year. This is just a general “yearly calendar” timeline. So specific one-time events aren't really included (like the Tsumtsum or the Apprentice Chef ones), nor are the ones that don't have stories. And since the school is based on the Western school year, it starts in the fall and not spring!

3/13/24 Edit: I fixed a few things! Vil's and Idia's overblots happened in February along with Beanfest, it's a shockingly busy month apparently. If there are any other inconsistencies, please let me know so I can fix them!

Timeline of Events

The Theft of the Rimet Cup , 11/9/23 - 12/4/23 or Nov 9th - Dec 4th

Before the story starts * , Directly before the beginning of the story

* Vertin isn’t seen in the event, and London is still intact and generally in the 1966. Regulus leaves on APPle the First at the end of the Rimet Cup and in 1.1 Regulus is starting her show on her ship near the docs of London. This means she’s either been laying low near the ports or she left and came back. The real life story of The Theft of the Rimet Cup took place in 1966 so it’s to be assumed that the main story ended. 

A Nightmare at Green Lake , 12/7/23 - 1/15/24 or Dec 7 - Jan 15th

Definitively after 4.10 * , after the current timeline (Book 5, 3/2/24).

Specifically, after 4.6 as Matilda tells Sonetto that she’s at a crossroads between what is implied to be Vertin and the Foundation. In Green Lake, Sonetto has fully decided to stand beside Vertin and implies trust in Vertin more than following Foundation guidelines as she does in Book 5. 

New Years in the middle of the event

Journey to Mor Pankh , 1/18/24 - 2/8/24 or Jan 18th - Feb 8th

This event happens before or after [Theft of the Rimet Cup] as Melania and Kaalaa Baunaa are seen attending college together.

Prisoner in the Cave , 2/29/24 - 4/18/24 or March 2nd - April 18th

This event is Book 5 

Revival! The Uluru Games , 4/18/24 - 5/27/24 or April 18th - May 27th 

This event is in an undisclosed time after Book 5 as there’s no mention of Medicine Pocket working on the Storm Immunity Ritual or Manus Masks experiments. Both of which were their main job alongside every researcher in Laplace at the time. 

The Uluru Games take place after Book 7, [Vereinsamt], as humans enter Vertin’s suitcase because they’ll be safe using the Immunity Umbrellas.

Fascination with History

History has always been a subject that captivates me. From the monumental battles of World War II to the storming of the Bastille during the French Revolution, and even further back to the construction of the awe-inspiring Great Pyramids of Giza, every era holds a story that echoes through time.

My fascination with World War II stems from how it shaped the modern world. The alliances, the struggles, and the courage of people during those dark years highlight both the best and worst of humanity. I find myself drawn to the incredible strategic decisions that changed the course of history, the resilience of nations, and the tales of everyday heroism. The war wasn’t just about battles; it was about survival, and it reshaped international politics in a way we still see today.

But my interest doesn’t stop there. The French Revolution, for example, offers a completely different perspective. It was a time of upheaval, where the people of France took destiny into their own hands. The storming of the Bastille, the rise and fall of Robespierre, and the eventual reign of Napoleon��all of these moments are key to understanding how revolutionary ideals spread across the world. It’s a period of immense social change, a rebellion against monarchy and class oppression, and it continues to inspire movements for freedom and equality even today.

Going further back in time, the Great Pyramids of Giza stand as a testament to human ingenuity. These ancient wonders have fascinated me since childhood—not only because of their sheer scale but also because of the mysteries that still surround them. How did the Egyptians construct such colossal structures with the limited technology of their time? What do they tell us about the beliefs, values, and power structures of ancient Egypt? The pyramids symbolise the enduring legacy of a civilisation that, despite thousands of years, still sparks our curiosity.

What ties all these historical events together for me is the idea of legacy. Whether it’s a global conflict, a social revolution, or a grand architectural feat, each one left an indelible mark on the world. Understanding history isn’t just about memorising dates and events; it’s about piecing together the stories of those who came before us and learning from their successes and mistakes. History teaches us that human nature, while often unpredictable, has always been capable of great ambition, resilience, and transformation.

From the trenches of World War II to the halls of Versailles to the desert sands of Egypt, history is a vast and fascinating journey one that I will always be eager to explore.

once again thinking about jason as duke’s robin. he’s ~4 years younger than jason, and that puts him at 8-12 during Jason’s time as robin. that’s prime time to get attached to your local kid vigilante before your own life goes downhill.

and if we try to keep duke’s meeting with bruce in zero year + duke’s age (so he can remember the meeting and hold that conversation with bruce), he has to be around 8. if he starts following batman through the news at that time because of the mess that just happened, the robin he sees is probably jason. KH OC Short Story: "I'll Never Do It"

I wanted to share this story I wrote last night. It's an imagination of if I featured in the KH Novel. Unfortunately, short stories are not my forte, and as my mum said, I do tend to struggle with conveying the emotions of characters. My writing is more 'recap' like; likely due to the millions of dreams I've recapped in my life.

I may try and re-write this story to practice conveying emotion, but it won't be a 'short' story lol.

The timeline of this story is based on what has happened in my waking life; my dreams; and energy communications that Riku and Terra have given me to continue our bond, including how they reference their cannon timeline.

To really think I would be a keyblade wielder at the start of it all. I thought there were certain rules that you just HAD to follow, at least by the precedent of certain keyblade masters. I always insisted to myself, and consequently to those around me, that this wasn’t for me.

I never saw Namine fighting within the group, but then I thought she was powerful enough in her own right; a witch with power over people’s memories.

I never followed trends, but what if I could be a trendsetter?

My favourite colour is blue. The first keyblade wielder I formed a connection with, to link to their world, was Riku. And guess what; Riku is a keyblade master… After everything I’ve said. Maybe I’m to blame, as I remained with my assumptions for quite a while, but I saw Riku as one angry man. No matter the amount of letters I wrote in an attempt to explain myself, he always seemed to complain that I was too needy for him.

And then his mentor came, or who was at least supposed to be his mentor if he wasn’t stuck in limbo for ten years. Terra seemed to watch me carefully.

I never heard the boys speaking seriously to each other, but then what were Riku and Terra conversing about behind the scenes?

This led Terra to start subtly taking over the roles that I had set for Riku, and that perhaps Riku was trying to palm me off to him. But then I thought to myself, “Is Terra going to get me past the tax exam?”. It seems I have a one-track mind. It had to be Riku.

Now in hindsight I think, was it right to push Terra away? To see a grown man cry from something I’d done, when it was never my intention to make him feel that way. And in turn, Riku grew more cross.

My intentions were being misconstrued, and so were theirs.

It seemed near impossible to convey my truth to Kingdom Hearts. But then impossible is made up of I’m possible, right?

After my dad’s best friend had passed away, I saw a different side to Riku. He seemed to take a step back and just observe the emotions of my family during a seemingly tumultuous time. One night, in my room, I heard Riku whispering a phrase from behind the open door.

“Because somebody needs me”.

I don’t know who or what he was talking to, but this seemed like Riku’s promise to finally try and help me rather than hiding.

It was still rigid for a while, but each day got lighter and brighter as Riku tried to understand me further, and we connected more. We taught each other the art of compromise in subtle ways. Riku did his best to reserve initial judgements of me and learn more about my special needs, and I had begun to think that not all keyblade masters were grumpy, old-fashioned, and I guess linear.

Riku embraced being my first connection to Kingdom Hearts and admitted that he felt lucky. And then he broke the most significant message by far.

He thought of me as his first de-facto student.

He told me I could take all the time I needed and that he would never apply pressure for me to use a keyblade. My life lessons would show me the way and would determine when I’d be ready.

With all the guardians of light flocking to watch me in Riku’s time, it would be easy to get to know the others.

Times seemed to be getting harder and harder for my family and the world in general. I decided that for the first time, I’d let two connections at once take the driver’s seat in watching over me.

With many options to choose from, making the choice seemed harder than I thought. No matter how seemingly fairly and equally I assessed each guardian, I was always being drawn to Terra. I couldn’t not choose him after how I had hurt him in Riku’s early days. And then there were also many more deciding factors. In-fact too many to list… All roads lead to Terra.

But now that I had given Terra the role he seemingly wanted in the first place, I couldn’t understand why he looked like he now didn’t want the role. Or was this simply the insecurities of his past setting in? The whisperings of his enemies that he wasn’t good enough.

Just like with Riku, there was a day where Terra suddenly changed. Like something had finally pushed him into his role.

In this world, Riku and Terra could be together and share many smiles and laughs.

Weeks later, I ended up summoning a keyblade in my hand, but it wasn’t my own. It was Riku’s Braveheart, and then I subsequently summoned Terra’s Ends of the Earth keyblade. The boys were impressed with each one taking turns to talk when I had summoned their keyblade. However, a thought worth noting is that I had summoned Terra’s ending keyblade, rather than his starting one.

Was this a foresight to the special bond I’d create with Terra?

It seems the boys knew me better than I did, or so I thought. There was always this pull towards Terra. Sadness and insecurity from him when I resisted, but a new and unrecognisable person when I responded to Terra, and we exchanged our needs and comforting words and gestures to meet them.

Whenever I’m in trouble, my Kingdom Hearts dream guides are always there to help, whether it’s in person or lending me their keyblades.

And I’m starting to have an affinity for the colour purple.

And once again, I think I might have a hyperfixation rn, another deaged Dani (Ellie) and Dan (Dante)! and Dad!Danny.

And you know what, lets make it another DannyxConner idea.

Danny is on a field trip with his class (NOT in Gotham though, LOVE Gotham but lets go with a different city) in like Central City or Metropolis (If Metropolis, Danny is SUPER excited to see the space sections they have at the museum they no doubt have, because well SUPERMAN is an alien and based in their city. If in Central City Conner is visiting Bart.)

During the trip he bumps into Conner and the two just hit it off. Conner enjoys listening to Danny rant about space and the stars and finds watching Danny's eyes light up in joy kinda cute. And if he got his new hero name Supernova from listening to Danny's rants about the stars well... no one needs to know how he got it.

Danny likes how chill Conner is and how the guy stood against Dash and the other jocks when Dash decided he wanted to mess with Danny during the trip, a rare thing nowadays but sometimes Dash does try, and how he respects/likes Danny's friends.

He didn't even say anything negative or hurtful when he found out Danny has two kids back home.

In the end the two exchange numbers, flirt hard, and maybe set up a date in the future. And then more dates. Becoming boyfriends. AND meeting the family. Conner is smitten with just out of toddlerhood Ellie and toddler Dante and adores them. And he loves how the Fentons just love him the moment he stepped into their house and was introduced as Danny's boyfriend, he made sure to bring over a pie Ma should him how to make.

Things get a bit complicated when Conner, Supernova, is at a reunion of YJ members and his phone lights up with a text message from Danny.

He's smiling with a goofy/soft look when he opens the text and see's its a picture of Danny holding a pouting toddler Dante and Ellie on his lap smiling with a notable gap in her teeth at the camera. The message he got was 'Ellie wanted you to know she finally lost her first baby tooth. Dan's been grumpier, I think he misses you.'

He is pulled out of his happy thoughts and musings when he hears Bart gasp hard and drop a bowl of snacks onto the floor. Conner turns to from the future Speedster and see's him about to have a panic attack.

Bart, Impulse, is having a freak out after catching a glimpse of the text picture Conner had gotten and being nosy wanted to know what got his friend to smile so smitten. He knew of Conner's current boyfriend and the kids Conner adores but haven't had time to be introduced to them or even see a pic.

He wasn't expecting to see the very MONSTER of his NIGHTMARES that basically destroyed the world in the FUTURE as a toddler pouting at a camera and surrounded by two smiling identical looking people either. People he never saw in the future or with HIM AND-

Oh.... OH!

Was that why he turned evil? Did something happen to his family?

You didn’t remember.

None of them did.

The be-speckled ghost oversees the room.

He’s happy to spend Halloween with everyone again.

When Malleus Draconia offered to make an Endless Halloween night to continue the joys of Halloween, of course he jumped on board too.

Just to spend time with everyone just a bit more.

Especially now that he remembered.

How fun! It is to see everyone enjoy the Halloween they preached about. To see his life long achievement come to fruition.

The colors! The costumes! The music! All of it more merry more than ever with close friends present.

They might not remember outwardly but the occasional glances his way tells they feel a kindred spirit.

That’s enough for him.

He can enjoy Halloween with them once again. Old friends. From his time in the book. And one from his travels, a mischievous one who now has short hair. The only one who remembers him from this motley crew.

This is Halloween! He exclaims with the other ghosts.

Let’s dance and be merry!!

He approaches you.

He’s been watching you all night.

Offers you a hand, you accept with a slightly confused look.

A part of you remembers.

He kisses your hand before pulling you for a dance.

Unbeknownst to you and all, you were dancing with the King of Halloween.

One more night and then everything will return back to normal.

But oh what fun it is! To have spent it with you and friends.

To one Skully J. Graves, it was the best Halloween he’s ever celebrated.

Dead or alive.

He can’t wait until next year to visit again.
