what led to getting ice cream ∞ j. fleming
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
summary: what happens when your youth teammate had invited you to a party?
part (1)
Tumblr media
a year has passed since the first encounter with the freckled canadian, the one you found a bit intriguing. maybe it was her shyness, how reserved the midfielder was - or how she was the complete opposite of you. you were everything she wasn’t, spontaneous, easy-going, affectionate while jessie was media-shy, restrained and calm.
you knew sooner or later, you’d cross paths with her - you just didn’t expect it to be at a collegiate party. mallory pugh, a national teammate you had gotten along with during camps, especially the youth levels, had invited you to a frat party. tierna, despite her being a year older she decided to accompany you.
tierna had checked her phone, wondering if it was the correct address which it was - she gestured for you to go first and you did. the moment you opened the door to the frat house, all you smelled was booze, sex and drugs.
“in a few hours, meet me back here and try not to drink from any red cups, or cups that strangers give you. i don’t think the team will be happy when they find out.” tierna stated, as you gave her a curt nod. you didn’t even like the idea of drinking or using.
as she disappeared from your view, you made your way through the crowd. you were clad in a stanford hoodie, a casual gray jogger, and a pair of typical running shoes. the backyard was vacant, you hummed before taking a spot near the entrance.
playing with the pocket watch your mother had given you - it claimed to be your father’s - “the one you never met”. there was this part of you that hated him.
but looking away from your watch, your eyes followed the sound of noise - the slide door to the backyard had opened. an amusing look was on your face when you realized who it was.
“fleming, what a surprise to see you here.” your voice rang out, catching her by surprise, in doing so the freckled girl had misplaced her step, causing her to fall.
a small oof was heard, as you frantically shot up, holding your hand out for her to grab. the midfielder did, as you pulled her up.
“i should be saying that to you, l/n. you took a 5 hour drive, just for what, a frat party?” fleming’s voice was soft as you chuckled at her words.
“mallory had invited me, but tierna she’s - somewhere in the house.” you softly replied, as jessie hummed at your words.
“pugh? she’s been your teammate since the youth levels, right?” jessie had asked, as you nodded. the colorado player was someone you’ve gotten along with - it was like a low maintenance friendship, you didn’t have to talk all the time.
after that question, the air was filled with silence - the two of you had been enjoying each other’s presence.
“say, this party might not be your cup of tea - but would you perhaps want to ditch, and get ice cream?” you had asked, humbly waiting for the canadian’s response to which she nodded to. you had gotten up first, holding out your hand waiting for the canadian to grab - in which she did. you had led her through the crowd, the intertwined hands - the feeling that you never wanted to let go.
when the two of you had arrived outside, you turned around to check if she was alright, to which she was - however, her eyes were set on the interlocked fingers. shying away, you abruptly let go of her hand.
“since you’ve been studying here, baby canada lead the way.” a small hum was heard, catching your attention.
“baby canada?” the canadian had asked, as you paused in your tracks - did she not know of the nickname the fans had given her?
“well, since you made your debut for the senior team quite young, you had achieved the nickname baby canada.” the walk to the ice cream parlor was filled with random stories you had talked about - solely football related.
“you know, you’re basically eating toothpaste, right?” you looked at her bewildered, at the fact she called mint chocolate chip ice cream - toothpaste.
“it is not.”
“it is.”
“is not”
“whatever floats your boat, l/n.” she softly chuckled, and you swore - it made your heart skip a beat. the walk back to the house was filled with silence, the two of you were simply enjoying each other’s presence.
you felt your phone vibrating in your pocket, as you quickly fished it out. it was a call from tierna, you looked to jessie as she nodded, giving her an apologetic smile - you swiped the green button.
“where are you?”
“i’m out with a friend, we had just gotten ice cream.”
“well, i believe we have to go now, y/n. the drive back to uni will take long.”
“alright, i’ll meet you in front of the house in a few minutes”
“don’t take too long, or else the others will have my head.” tierna teased, as you chuckled at her words. the call had ended, as you turned to jessie, her eyes were set on the moon - it was pretty.
“it’s pretty, isn’t it?” you had asked her, you weren’t looking at the moon - instead you were watching her, admire the moon.
“that’s true.”

Ruby: I don't understand.
Jaune: Understand what? Ruby: That! It was more than just hugs and talking nice to me, it felt... good.
(Ruby unlocked a brief memory of her childhood when things were simpler)
Jaune: Aah, that's an old arc technique, my grandmother did it with me when I was little, before an exam or when I went to the dentist, then I learned it to do it later to calm my younger sisters and how I saw Nora how a sister thought to me to start using it.
Ruby: Are you telling me that all this time that Nora has been dosed is because of your Arc trick you do to her? Do you do it with your entire team?
Jaune: Well Ren is already very relaxed from his vegetable smoothies and tea, it's worrying me a little, and Pyrrha...
Flashback
Jaune: You're a completely normal girl and whoever captured your heart is a very lucky guy in the world.
(He spoke while brushing a sleepy Pyrrha's ponytail)
Jaune: We used it more for reward.
Ruby: I doubted I could replicate that massage, but it gave me an idea.
Jaune: You are an excellent girl, fun, strong, graceful, and you are better without that woman in your life, at half your age you were twice as much of a mother to Ruby as she was to you
(He spoke while combing a blushing Yang's hair)
Jaune: No matter what you did or didn't do in the past, you are still a person who cares and fights for the rights of your people, but also focus on the friends you have now
(He said while massaging Blake's ears while he is squeezing with your hands your skirt)
Jaune: You are a very skilled and tender girl when you put your mind to it, you know how to dance, sing, fight. I bet your father doesn't have half your talent, and you're a better person than he will ever be, with all that you can and will do COUSE better than it ever was
(He speaks while braiding a Weiss on the verge of the tears)

Aw, that's so sweet... I wonder who else could benefit from this~?

Teacher’s Pet
Part 4
Esteban Kukurickza x reader
Tumblr media
Summary: After a few months of starting your literature course you seem to find it harder with time to ignore your professor, little did you know you were driving him crazy as well.
Warnings: nothing much just some fluff but not an appropriate teacher student relationship
Masterlist
It had been a few weeks since you and Esteban had basically spent the whole day together and since then you both were more close, that should be the way to describe it, he would bring you breakfast in the mornings and you would bring him coffee and a treat, he would send you emails to make sure you were okay with the lessons and that you weren’t stressed in any way
He would also make sure you were okay at work offering to bring you lunch on your breaks which you accepted gratefully since you were tired of the small breads from the coffee shop, your relationship had progressed from the beginning and it made you happy.
“Buenos Dias” you smiled putting the coffee cup down on his desk before taking a sip of your own “Buenos dias amor” amor, a new nickname that you adored “que haces?” You asked leaning on the edge of his desk, “nomas unos papeles” he sighed then he gave you a plastic bag, breakfast “es un burrito con huevo, tocino, y queso” he said as he flipped through some of the papers and you hummed peeling down half of the foil and taking a bite
“Y esto?” You pulled up a yellow folder and he carefully took it from your hands throwing it in a drawer “nada amor nada importante” he said a small smile on his lips and you gave him a pointed look “mentiroso” you mumbled taking a bite of the burrito, he laughed “yo mentiroso?” He asked amused making you nod as you sipped the coffee
He pinched your thigh playfully making you giggle as you swatted his hand away taking another bite of your breakfast “comiste bien a noche?” He asked and you nodded as you couldn’t answer with your mouth full and he looked at you in awe “que?” You asked a small embarrassed smile on your lips “te ves tan tierna amor” he said making you roll your eyes playfully
“Bueno ya me voy a senatar” you stood up and crumbled the foil throwing it out and taking your coffee with you “bueno nena” he watched as you went to take your usual seat.
After class you had gotten your stuff waiting for most of the class to clear out, walking up to Esteban you carefully grabbed his arm “voy al trabajo” you let him know and he nodded “te llevo comida” he said and you nodded “bueno” you smiled leaving and making your way to the bus to get to work
Once clocked in there was no such thing as a break or slowing down, you were at the register or serving people their orders.
“Oye nena, el novio” Nereyda your coworker said as she stood at the doorway to the break room “no es mi novio” you mumbled walking past her before making your way around the counter “Hola” you smiled standing in front of him “hola amor” he held a plastic bag with food in it “ven vamos” you lead him to the back where the break room was, your boss was allowing you to do this since you were the only one who ran the coffee shop the right way
Therefor you were allowed this certain special treatment.
“Cansada?” He saw how your eyes were droopy and you chewed slowly as if you were uninterested in the food “un poco” you took another bite of your food “aye pobrecita la niña” he teased as you smiled shaking your head “y a que hora sales?” He asked “en tres horas” you said taking another bite of food
“Te llevo a casa” he didn’t ask he just told you and you learned that whatever he says goes because he is very insistent "Y como esta you gatita?" you asked about the cat he had told you about
the little kitten he adored and you couldn't help but smile every time he mentioned her "Esta bien, en casa dormida como siempre" he smiled at the thought "Yo la quiero conocer" you said and he smiled "Pronto la vas a conocer, te va amar" he assured you making you smile as you sighed “aye no sabes el sueno que tengo” you sighed
“Y no puedes salir temprano?” He asked you shook your head “luego no me pagan bien” you said and he sighed his fingers making their way through your hair in a soothing way making you close your eyes for a moment “bueno cuando te recojo puedes dormir en el carro” he said and you nodded eyes still closed
But it did not last since your phone let out a loud alarm making you jump slightly and you realized your lunch was pretty much over “ya tengo que regresar” you groaned and he frowned a little “esta bien amor, te recojo entonces” you nodded and he helped you pick up
After he left you were back to work, it seemed like time went slow when you worked, you weren’t complaining too much since it was more pay but still it was draining nonetheless
Once your long shift was actually over you had picked up and tidied up the shop before pulling off your apron and hanging it up, you grabbed your stuff and the small paper bag which held a chocolate croissant that you couldn’t bare to throw away and locked up
Esteban was already in front of the shop waiting and he hopped out of the car ready to open the door for you which you thanked him for with a smile, a rule he had given you which was never to open your own door
He got back in and the car was so warm and the seat was comfortable for someone who was up on their feet for 9 hours “quieres algo?” He asked and you shook your head “no gracias, quiero ir a casa” you opened the bag ripping a piece of the croissant, after having a bite you ripped off another piece holding it in front of Esteban’s lips as he opened his mouth allowing you to pop it in
“Esta bueno?” You asked he nodded “muy bueno” he confirmed. The drive home wasn’t too far so you both didn’t always get much time together but some time was still treasured time. Esteban got off the car once more opening the door for you, you sighed standing in front of him, pretty close too
“Gracias por traier me a casa” you smiled and he looked at you in an admiring way a smile on his lips as he sighed “de nada amor, recuerda lo que sea para mi alumna favorita” you chuckled your cheeks tinting red and you looked down at your shoes “mírame” he said in almost a slight demanding yet calm and soft tone, you looked up but not without feeling that tingling warmth in your belly
“Cuídate amor, por favor y duerme bien, vale?” You could not form words right away so you nodded “vale” you finally let out softly and he nodded his arms wrapped around you and you didn’t expect it, but you took it and let your arms wrap around his torso and what you both didn’t realize was that you inhaled one another’s scent, he smelled of cologne, mint gum, and cigarettes and you smelled like the comforting smell of coffee and your perfume
Finally you both pulled away after a moment and his fingers brushed the loose strands of hair away from your face, “bueno amor, ve y descansa te veo mañana” you nodded “buenas noches” you said barley above a whisper before you began to walk away and make your way inside the building, you saw him get into his car once he saw you were inside and you got into the elevator your heart pounding
You both never were that physically close and it was the best feeling ever but it was also the most nerve wrecking feeling as well, you set your things down once you entered your apartment and got to thinking about it all, your head was racing and your heart was still beating fast. Meanwhile Esteban was as happy as can be, he’s sure he can make you his, he knows it.
A/n: hope you all enjoyed!!!! I plan on making things more interesting just bare with me haha but also whoever reads this thank you sm and I hope you all love this fic just as much as I love writing it ❤️❤️❤️

Not Really Scary - Alex Morgan/Reader
i hope y’all enjoy. i didn’t really show much of how the USWNT sees R, but I hope you still like it.
prompt: If you want maybe one where the USWNT team thinks R is very closed off and intimidating but they find them looking after Charlie and is really a big teddy bear inside. Possibly Alex Morgan/Reader if you can make it work.
warnings: none
words: 1250
Tumblr media
Alex POV
“So, I think it’s definitely interesting that (Y/N)’s here at camp,” Kelley said.
I furrowed my brow at that. I couldn’t imagine why.
“Why? I mean, she’s one of the best forwards in the NWSL right now,” I said. It was true. I had dreaded going against the Angels because of (Y/N). “I mean, you can’t tell me that you didn’t have the Angels games circled on your calendar.”
“I mean, yeah, sure,” Kelley nodded. We both looked where (Y/N) was sitting on her phone. No one else was around her. “But she doesn’t really talk to anyone. I know that Tierna had mentioned that she rarely talked to any of their teammates when they were playing on the youth squads. Plus look at her. She could run one of us over and put us in the hospital.”
Kelley wasn’t wrong about that. It had quickly became clear just how much of a physical player (Y/N) was and it definitely helped her as she almost just pure muscle.
“Has anyone tried to talk to her?” I asked.
“Nope,” Kelley shook her head. “And I pity whoever is her roommate is.”
We both stared at her for a moment longer. I was curious as to what it would be like to play with the forward.
“Where’s Charlie?”
“The kids wanted to watch her,” I said. Kelley looked over at me but I kept my eyes on (Y/N). “I think they’re all trying to sway her so that they can be her favorite aunt.”
“As if they’ll ever take that title from me,” Kelley said.
“Yeah, we’ll see.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I walked into my room and I was surprised when Charlie ran ahead of me but I found (Y/N) lounging on the bed that I had left free. She looked up from the book she was reading.
“I was curious who I was rooming with,” I said. (Y/N) didn’t really say anything to me. “If Charlie bothers you, just let me know and I’ll take care of her.”
(Y/N) still didn’t say much. I only nodded at that. I pulled a couple of Charlie’s toys out and gave them to her. I made sure that Charlie was okay before standing up.
“I’m going to get a shower, so seriously if Charlie is bothering me, just knock on the door,” I said.
All I got from (Y/N) was a small nod. I nodded my head at that as I grabbed my things to go into the bathroom. I did try to keep my shower short so that I didn’t have to leave Charlie alone with (Y/N) for long. But before I went back out, all I could hear from the room was laughter.
I was surprised when I opened the bathroom I found (Y/N) playing with Charlie. The two didn’t pay me much time until the the bathroom door shut. Once the door did shut, both of them turned their attention to me. Charlie immediately reached out to me. I picked her up before pressing a kiss to her cheek.
“You know, if you ever need someone to babysit, I wouldn’t say no,” (Y/N) said.
I nodded at that but I didn’t really respond as (Y/N) moved to grab a hold of her book again.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(Y/N) POV
I was surprised when I saw Alex sit down at the same table as me. But I was even more surprised when I realized that Charlie was walking up to my side. I reached down to pick her up once she reached her hands out to me. I looked over the table back at Alex.
“Surprised that you two are sitting with me,” I admitted.
It hadn’t escaped my notice of how most of our teammates had avoided me. I didn’t blame though as I preferred it that way.
“Well, Charlie wouldn’t accept us sitting anywhere else today,” Alex said. I was a little surprised when she pushed the smaller plate across to me, but I didn’t mind. “It seems that Charlie has decided that you’re her favorite person here besides me.”
I grinned at that. I wasn’t too surprised though as I often helped babysit my nieces and nephews while I was in high school.
“You just have to know how to pick up on what they want,” I shrugged. Alex seemed a little surprised by my answer. “I used to babysit all of my nieces and nephews when I was in high school. Of course none of them are toddlers anymore.”
“Ever think about having your own?” Alex asked.
I looked over at her in surprise before looking down at Charlie. It was a fair question.
“I honestly never gave it much thought,” I admitted. I moved Charlie’s fruit closer to her so she could grab a hold of it. “I mean, I would have to adopt or use some kind of alternative. Just never really thought of it in the kind of lifestyle I live.”
“You don’t seem like the kind of person to live a partying lifestyle.”
“I’m not,” I shook my head. Parties weren’t exactly my scene. A quiet night in was more of my style. “I just never want to be the kind of parent my dad was. He was always busy with work and I’m focused on soccer, so...”
“You just haven’t thought of it.”
“I mean, maybe one day,” I nodded. I looked back down at Charlie. “Or if I find the right partner.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I softly passed the ball to Charlie. I chuckled as she stopped it with her hands before pushing it back to me.
“You kick it,” I said as I bent down in front of her. Charlie shook her head. “It’s a soccer ball. You kick it to each other.”
“No.”
I shook my head at the toddler but I waited for her to turn back to me before I softly passed it to her again. Charlie once again stopped it with her hands before pushing the ball back to me.
“What are you two doing?” Alex as she came up behind Charlie.
“I’m trying to teach Charlie how to pass the ball back and forth. But someone is determined not to kick the ball,” I said.
“I could always join,” Alex said.
“I would never say no to a legend like the Alex Morgan.”
Alex rolled her eyes before I passed the ball to her before she softly passed it to Charlie. Charlie, however, was still content to pushing the ball to us. I shook my head at her as Alex and I continued to kick the ball back and forth while Charlie just pushed it.
“You grew up in Los Angeles, right?” Alex asked. I nodded at that. “What was it like?”
“It was home,” I shrugged. Growing up in L.A. had been cool. “I mean, I’m the youngest of five. Living in L.A. can be hard when you have that many kids. It’s been really cool though to play for my hometown.”
“You’re the youngest of five?”
“Yeah.”
“That must have been something growing up,” Alex said. I shrugged at that. “I bet there wasn’t a dull moment growing up.”
“Wouldn’t really know. I was usually overlooked,” I said as I picked at my food. “Usually everything I did, my siblings had already done. It’s why soccer been so huge for me. None of my siblings played. But I was usually the one left out because there was a 5-year difference between me and my youngest oldest sibling but there was only ever like 2 years between my older siblings.”
“It must have been lonely,” Alex said.
“I lived. I had soccer,” I said. There were times where it had felt lonely growing up because I wasn’t as close with my siblings as they were with each other. “We’re all pretty close now.”
“Gone,” Charlie chirped from my lap.
I looked down at her with a smile. I glanced at her plate.
“All gone?” I asked. Charlie nodded at that. “Good! You gotta eat healthy if you wanna grow big and strong.”
“Like you?”
“Yeah, like me,” I nodded.
“Be big and stwong like (Y/N), Mama!”
I softly chuckled at that as I looked over at Alex. She was smiling at Charlie and I.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Are you sure you’re okay to watch her for the night?” Alex asked.
I rolled my eyes at her concern. It had to be like the tenth time she had asked me.
“Alex, we’ll be fine. We’re just gonna hang out in the room,” I assured her. I had babysat plenty of time to know that it would be fine. “We’ll probably just play and eat our own dinner and go to sleep. You’ll come back and we’ll be totally okay.”
“Are you sure?”
“Go to dinner with the others. It isn’t my thing,” I said.
Alex nodded before giving Charlie one last kiss on the top of her head before she left. I grinned as I turned to Charlie.
“Aiwpwane?”
“Airplane.”
Charlie giggled as soon as I picked her up and lifted her in the air as I made engine noises. Charlies squeals and giggles filled the room.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I groaned as I rubbed at my eyes. It took me a moment to realize that Charlie and I were no longer the only ones in the room. I caught Alex shooing the others out of the room as I pulled Charlie off of my chest and laid her down on my bed.
“It looks like you two were comfy,” Alex pointed out.
“We had fun,” I said. I glanced over at the bed where Charlie was laying. “Played, ate dinner, played some more, and then we watched Encanto. We must have fallen asleep during the movie.”
“I’m glad Charlie had fun.”
I nodded at that and watched as Alex pulled her shoes off. I couldn’t lie that I had gotten close to Alex during this camp. I was hoping that we’d be seeing each other more.
“I was thinking that Kelley could watch Charlie tomorrow,” I said. Alex furrowed her brow and turned to look at me as she tilted her head. “I was hoping that I could take you out on a date.”
“I didn’t take you for someone to go out on many dates.”
“Well, I’m not. But there’s this really beautiful forward that plays for the same national team and she has a pretty cool daughter,” I nodded. Alex gave me a small smile at that. “They’ve both been really amazing to me. Tonight, I figured that if this forward was able to create such a lovable and amazing daughter, then I would probably be interested in asking her out.”
“You have to plan it out,” Alex pointed at me.
“Deal,” I grinned. “So tomorrow?”
“Tomorrow.”
I don't really know how to star writing any of this, like most of the time. But I guess I'll just try to get the obvious out of the way: you're always on my mind.
Back then, I left because I know that I was bad for you, but I took that decision for you and me, in a way it was because I was so afraid of you actually wanting to leave me and, if that was the case, now I would understand.
And here I am, feeling like there'll never be a day when you're not on my mind. I was hoping that it would stop any day now but it hasn't. I was hoping to see you getting married and finally facing the truth that I should've faced a while ago: that we're never going to share days together. And that's hard, and it hurts.
We speak about daydreaming our reunion, about how happy and in peace we would be, and I don't want to rain in your parade, but I will always want you back. And it hurts loving someone who will never be a part of your life again, it hurts loving in silence. And maybe it isn't love, maybe its just a reasurrance of a precious memory of mine that makes me feel how I want to feel everyday. And I gave people the oportunity to help me feel tht way again, and none as been able to do so. And I know you must be saying "that's why you have to be that person" and maybe you're right, but I don't know how.
I don't know how move on. I know you've been years with him now, and that's why I gave myself the last chance to try and be happy with someone else and, even if it doesn't shows, I've been better this last few months with her by my side but the guilt of me still thinking of you consumes me everyday. I carry with your memory everywhere I go and the ghost of a person you're no longer are haunts me. And it's not your fault.
It's not your fault, M. And I'm sorry you dated such a weirdo who hasn't forgotten you after all these years. I feel like a sick person whenever I wish to see you whenever I see a girl with glasses and long hair in the distance. It's not healthy to be this way, it's not healthy for me to wait on something that will never come. And I guess that's why I've been dreaming you a lot. But even in my dreams, I can't never get close to you because whenever you're in them, I see the same young, fragile girl, the one with the sweetest voice, the one who gave me my favorites lollipops, the one who went to the bus central to say goodbye, the one who trusted me, looking down, with her hair covering her face, with her eyes almost shut. Whenever I see you in my dreams, veo a la chica que lastimé. Y lo lamento.
Podría vivir mil años tratando de ayudar a cada persona, podra dedicar mi vida a tratar de salvar a cada paciente, a mis amigos con corazones rotos, a mi madre con dolores que calla, a mi familia de lo rota que está; podría vivir mil años, y dedicarlos a la humanidad, y nunca me sentiría digno de volverte a ver a la cara. Podría vivir mil años, y mil años lloraré por aquella chica, dulce, amable, tierna y frágil, linda y valiente, que lastimé tanto.
Tal vez por eso trato de ser la mejor versión de mi con todos, porque ya no quiero lastimar a las personas. Quiero ser mejor persona, y ser más fuerte, para tal vez así, algún día, limpiar mi alma de este dolor; dejarlo que caiga en mis pies y desaparezca. Pero a veces siento que es una lucha inútil. No por ti, sino por mi.
¿qué haré si un día, entre familia, amigos, y ella, se me escapa tu nombre? ¿qué haré si de mi boca sale tu nombre, como un llanto callado que no ha podido encontrar otro modo de salir? Me da miedo.
He tratado de ponerle fin a esto, de dejar en claro que quiero seguir adelante en mi vida y que algún día seré capaz de mirar a mi pasado sin dolor, pero algo siempre pasa. Alguien en la uni tiene tu nombre, alguna chica suena a ti, una figura a lo lejos me recuerda a ti, una risa lejana lleva tu nombre, o te miro a lo lejos, y después abro los ojos. ¿Cómo puedo olvidarte, si todo te lo debo a ti?
You said that you were aware that you put a barrier between us, and I'm ok with that. I admire you strenght, the same that I lack. And you admitted that you still read me. And so I want to admit what you already know:
Even if you say goodbye, I'll always leave my door open for you, but I don't want you to knock. Just come in. Say hello, take a seat with me. I'll make you tea and we'll talk for hours, days, years.
Don't knock, just come in. I'll hear every last thing that you say while I memorize your face again. I'll see every detail of your face while I memorize the sound of your voice again.
Don't knock, just come in. If you break a cup, don't worry. I'll clean it for you. I'll sweep it so that you don't get hurt.
Don't knock, just come in. If you have to leave, please don't say that you have to. Just stand up and go, end it with three dots, letting me know that some day you'll come back to finish that conversation.
I haven't locked the door. So please, don't knock, just come in.
Get Some - Tierna Davidson x Reader
Prompt: So I’ve got an idea for Tierna x Reader where they’ve just started dating after quarantined together in Chicago but haven’t told the team yet because they don’t want to mess up the dynamics right before the Olympics. Nobody really suspects anything bc they are both pretty tame at camps, and bc reader has severe baby face the team is always teasing her about being an innocent little fetus forgetting she is actually like 24. So when R shows up to Orlando camp in a bulky hoodie they think nothing of it assuming it’s from Chicago weather until they notice she refuses to take it off and keeps adjusting the hood to keep part of her neck covered. They let her be thinking maybe she’s just cold until she shows up ready for practice with her winter mock neck on under her practice jersey the next day. After they force her to take it off bc it’s 80° out they discover the hickeys she was trying to hide, along with the scratches on her back and freak out bc someone is “defileing the fetus” and grill her trying to figure out who it is while Tierna is just smirking to herself by her locker.
TL/DR: Tierna x Reader trying and failing to hide r’s “love marks” featuring Proud!Tierna and BabyFace!Reader
Note - this awesome human, pretty much wrote this me.
“Cold munchkin?” Alex teased the forward as she sat next to her in the team meeting. Her hood up, sweater strings tied.
“Not all of us live in constant heat and humidity Morgan. I bet you’re jealous of my lack of tan too,” Y/N winked back, tugging the sweater tighter around her neck.
Tierna grinned behind them, struggling to stifle her laughter.
“Of course she’s jealous! Who wouldn’t want to look like this?” Rose slid in on the other side of Y/N.
“Yea Alex, pale is the new tan,” Sonnett squeezed Alex’s traps from behind as she sat down next to Tierna.
Alex rolled her eyes at unexpected turn.
Vlatko called attention to the rest of the room, starting the meeting for the start of camp.
Tierna kicked the back of Y/N chair while she continued to try and hide her grin from everyone around her. Lindsey giving her a strange look.
At the end of the meeting, everyone made their way to the banquet room for supper, still all separated until everyone’s test results came in.
“Hey kiddo, you need someone to cut up your food at supper?” Kelley teased, nudging the forward as she made her way to her own seat.
“Ha ha,” Y/N fake laughed, rolling her eyes, “because I’m not old enough to have my knife.”
“You got it,” Kelley winked, shooting her air guns across the table.
After that conversation flowed easily, the players all talking to each other from a distance, making the room busy and loud; everyone eager to catch up.
After supper, Y/N and Tierna attempted to stall, hoping to steal a brief moment together before they all had to spend the night alone in their rooms.
“We should just tell them we had been quarantined in Chicago together, then we could be together,” Tierna tugged on Y/N’s sleeve, swinging both their arms back and forth.
“You need T to walk you to your room, so you don’t get lost?” Ali teased as she walked by.
“Where the hell does everyone keep coming from,” Tierna grumbled quietly, while Y/N rolled her eyes for what felt like the thousandth time that day.
“I’m not a child!” Y/N stomped her foot.
“Great argument kiddo,” Pinoe held a thumbs up as she walked past to the elevator.
“I can find my own room!” Y/N called after her, starting to walk away, only to feel another firm pull on her sleeve. She glanced down to see Tierna still holding on, looking up to see the smirk on her girlfriends face.
“Don’t worry, I’ll make sure to tuck our kid into bed.” Tierna started to pull Y/N towards the stairs by her sleeve.
Once out of site of the rest of the team, Tierna pinned Y/N against the wall, untieing the strings to her hood. Nosing it out of her way, Tierna started kiss along her jaw line, placing a firm bite to her ear.
“I am addicted to you,” Tierna pulled the collar out of the way, moving her lips to Y/N’s collar bone, scrapping her teeth on it, then soothing it with a gentle kiss.
“Fuck T,” Y/N tilted her head back, giving Tierna more room to kiss. Her hand gripping the back of Tierna’s neck, other sliding under her shirt, scrapping her nails across her ribs.
Tierna sucked harshly Y/N throat, pulling back to see the result, a deep red mark already beginning to turn purple. “You’re going to need to ask the staff for a neck warmer tomorrow,” she whispered into Y/N’s throat, scrapping her teeth across the bruise.
Y/N pulled her hand out from Tierna’s shirt, placing her palms on her chest, debating if she should push her away. She loved what was happening, but knew they needed to stop before things got carried away, or Tierna left any more marks.
“Fuck T,” Y/N groaned out, beginning to push the defender away, “we aren’t in quarantine anymore, people can actually see us now, more importantly, our team can see now.”
“Hmm that would be unfortunate if someone saw these,” Tierna smirked as she leaned back in, attempting to place more kisses along Y/N’s neck. Only for Y/N to push more firmly against her chest.
“You’re killing me babe,” Y/N bit her lip, trying to hold back her smile. Tierna looking completely unashamed, bit the air in front of Y/N, beginning to slide her hands up the front of Y/N’s shirt, digging her thumbs into her hips. Y/N moaned at the pressure, hips pressing out for more contact.
With a brief kiss to Y/N’s lips, Tierna pulled away completely, taking three large steps back and holding her hand out.
“Come on, I promised to make sure you make it to bed safe,” she winked, wiggling her fingers to encourage Y/N to grab.
“I hate you,” Y/N said gruffly, stepping forward to take Tierna’s hand.
“No you don’t,” she sung back, swinging their arms back and forth as they began walking up the stairs.
“I do a little bit,” she mumbled, looking away from the brunette, knowing her faux seriousness would crack as soon as she saw the large smile her girlfriend had on.
“Nope!” Tierna accentuated the ‘p’ at the end, swinging their arms higher, finally earning a giggle from her girlfriend. Her ability to go from pinning Y/N to the wall and leaving hickeys across her neck to innocent and childlike was incredible.
Y/N finally gave in completely and burst out laughing as they climbed the stairs, pushing her shoulders into the taller soccer player. The two gently wrestling the rest of the way up the stairs, separating as they made it to their floor.
Tierna walked Y/N to her door, making a show of it, “I’m just down the hall if you have any bad dreams,” she ruffled her hair and began to walk away. “Don’t let the bed bugs bite!”
Several loud laughs could be heard from the doors that still remained open.
The next morning players prepared for practice on the side lines, tugging on cleats and debating on long sleeves or short sleeves, Y/N tugged her neck warmer on, tugging it all the way up to her ears.
“Yo, Chicago, shouldn’t you be used to the cold?” Kristie teased as they made their on the turf to warm up.
“Rude! I’m delicate!”
“Yea Kris be nice to the little kid,” Alex came from behind, rubbing her hands up and down Y/N’s biceps. “you cold? Do you need a sweater? Gloves?”
Y/N pulled out of Alex’s hands, rolling her eyes, “I’m fine, just a little chilly this morning.”
Everyone left it for the rest of the morning training.
Y/N was not as lucky that afternoon. Everyone offering warmer items of clothing when they saw her wearing the neck warmer again in the afternoon.
“Are you sick?” Christen reached up, attempting to feel Y/N’s forehead. Y/N was quick to duck out of the way, swatting Christens hand.
“Seriously guys, I’m fine, just not adjusting well to the climate change or something,” Y/N tried to avoid glaring at Tierna, knowing the defender would a smirk on her face throughout it all.
“Are you sure Y/N/N? Should we get the trainers?” know Tierna decided to join in the conversation. Y/N looked sharply at her girlfriend, clenching her jaw, she was the reason for the interrogation.
“I’m fine,” Y/N snarked to the group, “It’s a neck warmer, just drop it.”
“It is way to humid put here right now for you to be chilled,” Ali came over, rubbing her hand on Y/N’s shoulder, sensing the forwards discomfort at being put on the spot. But also concerned for the younger woman, no one should be chilled in the mid-afternoon Florida heat.
The entire practice everyone kept an eye on the younger soccer player. As the intensity of the practice increased, Y/N continued to tug at the neck warmer she was wearing. The hair at the base of her skull soaked with sweat, the collar of shirt drenched the entire away around, face flushed as she heated up.
At the end of practice, Y/N attempted to pull her hoodie over head after she had pulled the neck warm off. Unfortunately, she was not quick enough her movements, the hem getting caught on her sweaty, tangled bun.
“What in the actual fuck happened to your neck?” Pinoe explained, stopping Y/N from pulling the sweater on, gaining the attention of the rest of the team.
Kelley quickly bounded over, pulling the collar of her practice shirt out of the way. The rest of the team now all looking on.
“What happened to your neck?” Alex came over as well, thumb and forefinger holding Y/N’s chin, moving her head around, inspecting the now very prominent hickeys spread across the neck, collar bone, and upper chest.
A loud cat call whistle was heard from behind and “Oh damn” thrown from someone else, follow up with “get some!”
“No! Don’t get anything!” Christen shot the group of young players a hard look, eyes sharp when she looked back to Y/N, “who did this to you?”
“What? This?” Y/N motioned to her neck, “I, uhh, got a tour of the aquarium. They let me hold one of the octopuses.” She finished with a firm nod, satisfied with her answer, smiling to herself.
Tierna remained on the bench a few feet away, coughing to cover her sudden laugh at the terrible story.
“Bullshit!” Alex challenged, still holding Y/N chin firmly. Y/N attempted to pull away, Alex adjusted her grip, palming her jaw.
“Who did this to you?” Christen asked again.
“You’re like 12! No one should be doing this to you!”
“I’m 24,” Y/N rolled her eyes, attempting to pull away, only to be pulled back in.
“You are far too young to young to have hickeys!”
“I’ve had sex before.”
“No! you are not old enough to have sex!”
By now, Tierna was leaning back on the bench, watching as all the older players harassed her girlfriend, all unaware she was the cause of the marks on the young forward. She spread her arms on the back of the bench, leg casually crossed over the other, smug smile.
“Welp,” she popped the ‘p’, “I’ve kissed people, given hickeys, been hickied,” she motioned to her neck again, “and even had sex. Really good, mind blowing sex.” With a wink, Alex finally let her step out of her grip.
“Eww! No!”
“Y/N! Enough, tell us who did this to you? We obviously need to talk to them if they are doing things like this to you.”
“Guys, quit being so dramatic,” Y/N rolled her eyes, attempting to take another step away from the over protective players.
“No no no, come back here,” Tobin stepped forward now. “That ones fresh!” she copied Alex’s motion earlier, gripping her jaw and tilting it up to the expose the fresh hickey on the side.
This caused them all to step closer and inspect the hickey for themselves. Tierna uncrossed her legs, sitting up a little straighter, smile slipping slightly.
“That means its someone at camp!” Kristie called from behind all the veterans.
Y/N eyes went wide, smile fully dropping from Tierna’s face. The overprotective players all looking around, scanning each player, trying to determine who it could be.
“Is it a player? Staff? Coach?” Alex looked firmly at the younger forward.
“Gonna go save your girl?” Alyssa slid onto the bench next to Tierna on the bench, smirking at her.
“What?” Tierna whispered, shocked, eyes darting quickly to the keeper.
“Well,” Alyssa started slowly, “most of those are old, so they happened in Chicago, and you, me, and Y/N/N were the only ones there together. And there’s a fresh one since we got here. And since I didn’t do it, that only leaves you.” She firmly poked Tierna in the chest.
Tierna opened and closed her mouth. “Umm, uhh, fuck.”
“I won’t tell, but you might want to go save her over there. You know none of them are going to drop it until they figure it out,” Alyssa shrugged, “besides it’s your fault really. You are the one that put those one there.”
Tierna continued to open and close her mouth, then watched as the veterans continued to ask Y/N who It was and beginning to call out several of the younger players who were all enjoying the small interrogation.
“Fuck,” Tierna sighed out, she slapped her thighs and pushed herself to stand. “Kell, Stanford should take your degree away.”
Kelley whipped around to glare at Tierna as she walked toward the group, “what are you talking about?”
“You’re really not very observant,” Tierna smirked at her, “I’m going to let you guys think on this a little more, Y/N/N and I are going to head back to the hotel for supper.”
Y/N smirked and skipped toward the defender.
Everyone watched them walk away, mouth open, eyebrows creased.
“Wait,” Lindsey perked up, smile growing as she figured it out, “weren’t they both in Chicago together?”
That brought all eyes over to the midfielder.
“Yes!” Kelley pointed at her, “they did! Baby T defiled baby Y/N!”
“Shit, I thought we would get further away,” Tierna tugged Y/N’s hand encouraging them to run towards an available van.
“We aren’t done with this!” Alex yelled after them.
Okay my ass passed tf out post game. But I just woke up again and can’t NOT put my lukewarm takes on the Internet.
USWNT v SWEDEN
Alyssa - did what she could? I’m sure she expected plenty of shots on goal because Sweden has proven to always be a solid opponent but I don’t think she was ready to be called upon all game. But there wasn’t a time where I was like ‘dang, maybe if Alyssa was a better keeper, we wouldn’t be down’. She was fine.
Becky - I find her hard pressed to say anyone did well, but all things considered, Becky was okay. She was carrying the ball forward more than usual, seemingly holding onto it a bit too long sometimes. But no one was really open for her, so what tf was she supposed to do.
Crystal - thank sweet baby Jesus for her recovery runs and slide tackles. I would not like to know what a score line would be without them. She unfortunately was super overloaded which caused a lot of uncharacteristic giveaway passes in dangerous spots. To her credit, she showed a lot of creativity breaking out of the three players that seemed to close in on her. But our midfield and forwards really hung her out to dry not offering outlets for her to pass to.
Abby - this was a tough game for Abby. She was getting caught on the outside shoulder instead of covering inside and allowed the center backs to be split on numerous occasions. She did have a few of her typical nice diagonal long balls. But really seemed frantic and was beat to the ball in the box on the goals.
Kelley - in the same camp as Becky. Of nothing detrimental. But nothing incredible. She wasn’t given the same amount of pressure as Crystal which made things better. But her passes could have been cleaner, crosses could have been more direct.
Tierna - things were pretty dismal by the time she came in. She did decent for the time left though. Not sure it would have helped anything but her height definitely could have beneficial to us as a center back earlier in the game.
Lindsey - not her day as the 6. She managed it well through the summer series and send off games, but Sweden is so different than the teams they played. She got lost. She was so needed to be Crystals outlet and to be that person that helped move the ball from side to side to break Sweden down. She was almost timid, it was weird. She started doing a bit better when she was back in her normal position. But the team was already back on their heels at that point so it didn’t help.
Rose - well god dammit. Rose was out there trying! It wasn’t working, but you could tell that she was not having it and was trying to make something happen. She was key in the passing combos the US managed to string together. Most glimmers of good came with her involvement. She still fell victim to holding the ball too long and passing directly to Sweden but I did appreciate her effort!
Sam - oh goodness, poor Sammy Bananas. This was not her game. She seemed like she was hiding behind Swedish players. She wasn’t open for anyone to pass to. And when she had the ball, more often than not, she was passing it to Sweden. It was hard to watch after she’s been playing so well. I will give a small positive that on a couple plays, she found her stride and did what she does best, driving the ball up centrally, pulling defenders, and passing out wide for a cross in. She needed off at half though, glad Vlatko pulled her.
Julie - well shit balls I really wish she was 100%. Her being in wasn’t a game changer. I mean, duh they still scored twice in the second half. But there were moments I was like, oh yeah. That’s what it’s like to have Julie Ertz playing the 6. That’s nice. She is far from full game fit though, and you could tell she’s nervous going 150% into hard tackles. And with being out for all the buildup games, her chemistry with everyone is a little off.
Kristie - she wasn’t in long. But she’s was running her butt off. Like Tierna, it’s not like she could do much to help. She didn’t do anything to hurt though. Her energy was good to see, who knows if her coming in earlier could have sparked something. (Probably not but it’s fun to dream)
Alex - welp. She was in there. Few decent runs into the box. Was there for the header off Christen’s beautiful first half cross. But very lost, not connecting, I had no issue with. Vlatko pulling her at half for Carli.
Tobin - after the excitement of her return in the Mexico games, it sucked to see her like this. To her credit, she was all over the damn pitch trying to make things happen. But in doing so, was out of position which didn’t make switching the field easier. Sweden had to time for her foot skills and just bodied her off of things. She had some of our most promising offensive plays though. And history has proven that pissing Tobin off means she is going to pop off. Waiting for that!
Christen - the goal post is not her friend. So rude. She also gave us some of our closest goal opportunities. But dang. She needed to be helping Crystal on defense big time. And she needed to provide a better outlet pass and not just the option of a ball over the top. I honestly forgot she was out there sometimes which was uncharacteristic.
Carli - I was actually happy to see her come in. But she couldn’t break the funk the team was in. I’m sure a game like this will make her work harder, so maybe that’s good. I don’t know.
Pinoe - came in with a little spark. She was a positive sub. But we were such a mess at that point it didn’t do much. I wish she was full ninety fit, we needed her chaos.
All in all. We all watched the mess. We know. They were outplayed. Sweden is fucking GOOD. We just played them, it wasn’t a surprise. At least, it shouldn’t have been. Maybe it’s the Sweden Olympic curse. Maybe it’s because the USWNT has been go go go all year and has run themselves a little ragged with the camps and friendlies along with NWSL. Doesn’t matter. They knew the Olympics were coming. They weren’t good enough and I hope they turn it around.
Hopefully next game we can remember what jerseys we’re wearing so we can pass to the right team and everyone gets a good night sleep so we can LOOK ALIVE OUT THERE.
What? part 2- Kelley
Tumblr media
I had been wandering the halls for the past 15 minutes looking for any sign of Kelley while also avoiding the veterans. Hoping that they haven't found Kelley yet.
That's when you made it to the bathroom by the gym. Obvious but at the same time I don't think the team would check it since their is multiple stalls.
I walked in slowly and looked and didn't see any feet.
"Kelley" I said stepping in and closing the main door
"(Y/n)" I heard her say and I saw feet hit the floor in one stall before she peaked her head out
"Are you alone?" She asked and I nodded yes
"Look what you caused" she said angrily at me as she walked towards me
"Look at what I caused? You were the one that gave away it was you!" I said
"You were the one that told them you weren't a virgin anymore!" She exclaimed
"Fair, but I didn't think they would make a big deal about! They didn't with Mal and Tierna" I replied still confused about that
"They were dating people" Kelley said with a frustrated look
"Well to late to go back and change the past, but we can continue to run and hide if you want" I said moving closer to her and wrapping my heads around her neck hoping to calm her down.  She placed her arms around my waist so I knew she was calming down.
"Your lucky I like you and that I would like to live a little bit longer" Kelley said with a smile before giving me a quick kiss causing me to smile.
"Their is an ice cream shop down the street" I said knowing that they wouldn't think we left the hotel.
"Lead the way" Kelley said pushing me forward with a laugh as i rolled my eyes at the older women
I opened the door and peaked my head out to make sure the coast was clear before grabbing Kelley's hand and pulling her out with me.
We quickly made our way to the back entrance. As we both kept a look out for any of our teammates.
"Where are you guys going?" Ash asked causing me to freeze and quickly let go of Kelley hand to turn around
"To get ice cream?" I said, hoping they would let us go
"Nice try, back up stairs" Carli said causing me to nod and shove Kelley in front of me as I watched her keep looking back in fear.
We quickly made it back to the room I had also ran from once Kelley was gone to see everyone else still sitting in their.
I looked nervously at everyone around us as they sat Kelley and I on the bed next to each other.
"I think you guys have some explaining to do" Ash said looking at us
"Umm well umm you see here. Kelley and I had sex. End of story" I said as Kelley sat quietly next to me
"Kelley?" Carli asked "any thing to add"
"Uh, No." Kelley said nervously under her glare
"How about when did it happen?" Julie asked
"I'm actually curious about the one" Christen said causing me to seen a glare her away as she just smiled back
I looked at Kelley and she just stared back at me causing me to roll my eyes. She was no help right now.
"I guess like 3 months ago, I'm not exactly keeping track" I said causing several of the veteran to look at me in shock
"3 months" Ali said shocked
"How did we miss this?" Becky asked looking at Christen who just shrugged
"Come on your guys, give them a break. They are two consenting adults" Tobin said to which I gave her a grateful smile
"Tobin" Ash exclaimed
"What? I'm not wrong. Aren't you guys happy it was with some she trust.  I know Kelley didn't force (y/n) to do anything she didn't want to do. Right Kelley?" Tobin said looking at Kelley
"Right, I let her set the pace and everything" Kelley said making me blush but also saw Kelley looked less scared and nervous with someone helping us
"See, nothing to worry about you guys" Tobin said sending me a smile.
"Just know if you hurt her, your dead" Ash said with Carli agreeing next to her causing Kelley nods her head with wide eye
"Wouldn't dream of it" she said
"Wait, are you guys dating or just fuck buddies?"  Emily asked causing me to blush and I looked for to Kelley to see she was staring back at me and was also red
"I don't know, we never really talk about it" I said feeling awkward as I rubbed the back of my neck and didn't look back toward Kelley
"Well looks like it's time to go to bed" Emily said looking at her watch and dragging others with her
"See you guys tomorrow" Alex said pulling more people, specifically Ash and Carli out of the room
Once everyone was out of the room Kelley and I both looked at each other awkwardly, waiting for the other to speak.
"Well at least they are leaving us alone now" I said trying to break the awkwardness causing Kelley to laugh
"What's so funny?" I asked confused
"Just everything that happen" she said causing me to just smile at her.
Once she calmed down she looked at me with a serious expression.
"We should probably talk about what we are though. They are going to continue to ask" Kelley said
"What do you want to be?" I asked looking at her, knowing that I like her but I wouldn't say anything if she didn't. I didn't want to ruin anything.
"Anything you want to be. I like you, a lot. I love spending time with, no matter what we are doing. From having a lazy day to going on hikes. I just want to be with you" Kelley said with emotion I hadn't really seen from her before
This cause a smile to reach my face as I moved to wrap my arms around her neck bring her closer to me as she wrapped her arms around my waist
"Well since I set the pace, I say you are now my girlfriend" I said with a smile as she blushed but also had smile plastered her face before I closed the gap between us. Feeling the smile in the kiss that was also still on my lips.
Once we pulled away, a smirk appeared on my face. "I know what we can do to pass some time" I said
"I like the way you think" she said before reconnecting our lips
Listen to Me
Uswnt x reader
⚠️mentions of fighting/violence, cursing, Chad being an asshole, mentions of racism, homophobia, and sexism. Lemme know if there’s more I missed.⚠️
Tumblr media
Main Masterlist
It was time for another camp. You were the last to arrive due to still being in school and having to be there as many hours as you possibly could.
So here you were in the airport walking towards a pissed off Alex Morgan and Christen Press.
The day before your flight to camp, you had gotten into trouble. Trouble meaning you got into a fight. And word got to your teammates.
“Hello my favorite, most amazing people in the whole wide world.”
Alex simply rolled her eyes and grabbed your suitcase before walking towards the exit with you and Christen trailing behind.
You lowered your gaze to the terminal floor. Christen tried to catch your eyes but ultimately failed and decided just to look straight forward as she talked.
“You know, you shouldn’t resort to violence, (y/n). I don’t know what happened but everyone’s pretty upset and disappointed right now.”
Ouch. The disappointment card. Just had to pull that one like you haven’t heard it just about everyday of your life. You were honestly confused if people were actually disappointed when they said it or just used it as a guilt trip.
The ride to the hotel was full of silence. And not one of those silences where you feel comfortable with the people you adore and love. It was one of those silences where it made you nervous and anxious. It made you fidget and uncomfortable.
Getting your room assignment, being with Tierna, you tried to book it up the stairs. That worked for all of five seconds until you were called into the meeting room.
You reluctantly stepped down and made your way to the space and left your suitcase by the door. In the room were almost all the responsible/‘scary when they want to be’ ones. Sitting down in a chair with a sigh, you looked down at your fidgeting hands and waited for someone to start talking.
The silence that filled the room was very tense. All that could be heard was the movement of your hands and breathing.
When you thought things couldn’t get any worse, the most mama-bear of them all, Carli, spoke up.
“You know you can lose your spot for stuff like this right? You got into a fight, this is not something you need to be taking lightly at all. I don’t care what caused it, but you need to fix whatever’s going on with your behavior and attitude because you’ve been off for the past few weeks anyway. If something like this happens again, we won’t hesitate to take some disciplinary actions ourselves. Am I clear, (y/n)?”
You mumbled ‘crystal’ and attempted to leave the room only to get pulled down by Ash. “Now do you wanna tell us what started the fight?”
You were honestly getting really uncomfortable. Any movement you were making at the moment was probably the only thing keeping you from breaking right now; the furrowing of your eyebrows, the rolling of your shoulders, scratching your arms, bouncing your leg. You probably looked crazy.
You shrugged your shoulders and started spinning in your chair.
Ash put her hand on it and prohibited it from being able to move. “That was not a suggestion.”
Sighing and dragging your hands over your face you told them, “A boy knocked books out of my hands and pushed me so I pushed him back. He didn’t like that so he threw the first punch and I wasn’t about to let him push me around so I beat his ass.”
It wasn’t a total lie but it wasn’t the full truth. Yes he did push you. And yes he did hit you first. But there was so much more to the situation than that.
“Look I’m tired and I have work I need to do. If you want to scold me anymore, just please save it for tomorrow.”
Honestly you had never run up stairs so fast. The situation was so awkward and the way everyone was staring at you didn’t make anything better. There was so much disappointment in their eyes.
It’s like what you do will never be enough for anyone.
-
The next day everyone came down from breakfast. You went to sleep after 12 due to having work piled up from your asshole teachers. It’s not like they grade half of it anyway.
You still didn’t understand one of the lessons so decided to watch some YouTube videos on it and take notes while eating breakfast. That also gave you an excuse to sit away from anyone who would possibly want to lecture you about your ‘reckless actions’.
You were the last one down. Deciding to already have headphones in—to ignore anyone calling your name—you grabbed your breakfast and sat down at a table by yourself. Pulling your notebook and pencil out, you started the video and took notes while eating.
You could feel their eyes burning holes in your head. You’d honestly prefer they just come ask what they wanted than staring at you like some museum exhibit.
You just ignored it and did your work. That was easier said than done as Casey came over, sat next to you, and snatched your earphones out.
“Hey!” You scrambled to pause the video so you didn’t miss anything. “I was watching that.”
Turning to Casey, you pushed your glasses up and gave her a look that said ‘can I help you?’
“Don’t give me that face. I’m not the one you need to be having an attitude with.”
“I-I don’t have an attitude though.”
“Stop talking.”
You purse your lips, nod your head, and start bouncing your leg waiting to hear whatever she wanted to say to you.
“Look, I don’t know what’s been going on at school or at home but everyone can tell you’re on edge. Isolating yourself isn’t going to help anyone-”
“But I’m not isolating myself.”
“Interrupt me one more time, child.”
Casey was your first team mom. When you joined the red stars, she immediately took you under her wing and she became your mentor. The two of you worked well together and she constantly kept you on track. She was very nice but could be very strict when she wanted to be.
“All I’m saying is you’re making yourself look more guilty to them because you’re sitting over here looking like you’re all up in your feelings. You aren’t in your feelings. Right? Cause that’d be another conversation I’d have to have with somebody’s child and-”
You cut her off with your chuckle and shook your head. “Casey, I’m fine.”
She nods her head and contemplates for a few seconds, “Alright, come sit at the table with me then.”
“But I’m working.”
“Okay. You can work over there too.”
You simply watched as she grabbed your phone, notebook and breakfast to the table with a gaped mouth.
You blinked at her while she mouthed ‘come here’. Reluctantly, you pushed yourself out the seat and slowly made your way over. You sat down and reached out for your phone only for Casey to snatch it away.
“I need to do my work. What did you do that for?”
“Your work can wait. Socialize,” she said while putting your phone out of work.
With raised eyebrows you said, “Seriously?”
“Does it look like I’m kidding?”
Huffing you turned in your seat and played with your food. You’d honestly lost your appetite this morning; it was only 9 in the morning and people were already testing your patience.
You looked up and your eyes locked with Carli’s.
“Stop playing with your food, (y/n).”
You put your fork down and just got up to throw your food away. You couldn’t deal with this right now.
-
The two weeks of camp was boring and went by agonizingly slow. It consisted of pretty much the same routine; you’d do work after training, work during breakfast and spend any free days or breaks by yourself (occasionally with Tierna) in your room, on your phone looking at ways to improve and tricks to do.
It became annoying when all the vets constantly reprimanded you for the smallest of things. With Carli, it’d be ‘stop playing around so much’. With Alex it’d be ‘pick up after yourself’. Even Kelley was doing it for fuck’s sake.
You honestly couldn’t wait to leave and at least be somewhere where all the attention isn’t on you.
-
When you got to the airport, your girlfriend was there waiting for you. She pulled you in her arms and any leftover tension from the past two weeks immediately went away. She always knew how to make you feel better.
The two of you drove to her house and went over some school work before going to bed for the night. It wasn’t an unusual routine between you two.
When the alarm went off in the morning both of you groaned. The school you went to was a total pain in the ass and regardless of what day it was, you could count on it to be an awful day. It was a predominately white school with only 2 percent being a person of color; you and your girlfriend being part of that 2%. Half of them were racist, sexist, homophobic, and just all around assholes.
Walking into the school building, you could immediately feel all eyes on you. Trying to get past it, the two of you just went to your lockers with your heads down.
“Aye! Look at me you freak!”
It was the same dude you got into a fight with last time(his name is Chad by the way). Apparently a black eye didn’t teach him shit.
“When I tell you to do something I expect you to do it.”
He grabs your shoulders, turns you around and pins you to the lockers.
“You see my eye?”
“Yeah, you got your ass beat by a girl. What you gonna do about it?”
He punched you in the stomach hard.
“(Y/n)!” Your girlfriend. You looked up at her and shook your head signaling her not to get involved.
“Ima make you look worse than you made me-”
“Are you sure about that? Last time you failed, what makes you think it won’t happen again?”
Chad chuckles and shakes his head.
“You think you’re all that with that equal pay shit, and your racial equality and women loving women crap. Guess what you little bitch I’m going to end you and all those lesbians and gays and anybody else who thinks they deserve equality because you don’t. You don’t belong here. Just go kill-”
You kicked him in his balls, twisted his arm behind his back, and pulled it. When you heard that crack you smirked and leaned down to his ear.
“I don’t wanna embarrass you in front of your racist, sexist, homophobic, buddies, but lemme tell you. You don’t own anybody nor are you superior to anybody. Do I make myself clear?”
He only grunted but you pulled tighter which made him yell out.
“I said, ‘do I make myself clear’?”
“Yes!”
You pushed him on the ground and walked over him to your girlfriend.
“Why in the world would do that? You know what they’re going to do to you. You might not even get invited back to camp!”
“Babe, calm down. I honestly don’t care at this point. And neither should you.”
“(Y/n) (L/n)! My office! Now!”
You gave her a kiss and walked away slowly.
“Wish me luck.”
-
“You seriously got into another fight! What is going on with you!”
It was the first thing you heard when walking into the hotel lobby. Literally everyone was there. From the youngings to the vets. Surprisingly, you were called back to camp, but you honestly think it was just so everyone could scold you. Carli was absolutely livid, but you couldn’t bring yourself to care about anything at the moment since you were so pissed.
Walking past the team, you attempted to make it to the stairs, only for Casey to grab the back of your shirt and pull you back towards the tables. She pushed you down into a seat and took your belongings away from you.
You tried to get back up but you were only pushed down again.
Carli bent down and stared you dead in the eye.
“What is going on with you?”
“There’s nothing wrong with me. What I did was what I intended to do. It was no mistake.”
Alex interrupted, “(Y/n), you don’t understand-”
“No you don’t understand!” You stood abruptly from the chair and slammed your hands on the table. The chair fell and it was absolute silence.
You’d never been so loud. You were always on the quiet side and this was the biggest reaction anyone had ever seen from you.
You were heavily breathing, staring at Carli, the adrenaline pumping through you.
“Did they tell you what he did to me?! Did they tell you what he calls me, my girlfriend and every other female, lgbtq member, or person of color in that school?! No! Because they don’t give a shit. And they won’t give a shit until it’s one of their kids getting hurt!”
There was no dry eye in the room. Your hands were shaking and you took a deep breath to calm down. In a lower voice you spoke.
“They don’t give a damn about my well-being so why should I give a fuck about theirs?”
Taking a few more trembling breaths, you wiped the tears off your face.
“So excuse me for being off for the past few weeks. This shit will take a toll on anybody. And you can cut the bullshit with the ‘don’t fight fire with fire’ cause that’s the only way something gets through those thick ass skulls. They don’t allow you to do it peacefully. They don’t allow you to educate them.”
You looked at Casey with tears in your eyes.
“I just wanna go to school and get an education and be treated like a normal human being. What’s wrong with that?”
Crystal came over to you and caught you before you fell. She lowered you both to the floor as you sobbed your heart out. You kept mumbling ‘I’m sorry’ into her neck between breaths as she rocked you back and forth trying to console you.
Casey and Christen were the next ones over, the latter rubbing your back while the other was trying to wipe away the onslaught of tears on your face.
“Shh, shh baby. You did nothing wrong.”
Soon, every member of the team was crowded around. Tears were streaming down everyone’s face. Their baby, only 16, was going through all this stress and pain. Because of something no one deserves.
You eventually calmed down after 15 more minutes of crying. You’d been transferred to Casey’s lap, and your team mom was trying to comfort you to the best of her ability.
Casey took your face in her hands and wiped all the tears off. “You don’t need to be sorry, alright? There was nothing you did wrong. Stop saying sorry.”
You nodded your head and she kissed your forehead.
Everyone was still crying or wiping waterfalls of tears away.
They watched as you got up and searched frantically for something. You got your phone out of your backpack and turned it on. While you were pacing, the Home Screen popped up and you quickly logged in to text your girlfriend. One, because you always text her when you get to the hotel and two, if Chad and his stickman buddies hurt her, you were absolutely going to lose your shit.
When you logged in to your phone, you saw she already messaged you saying that you should talk to the others.
“Kinda late for that,” you muttered.
“What did you say, hun?” Christen asked.
You just shook your head and texted her back.
Gf: I mean we could always try to talk to the board.
You: Or
You: We could go on strike.
Gf: I-
Gf: I’m done talking to you.
You: wait no! Don’t leave me.
You: I love you
You had a frown on your face when you put your phone away.
Casey pulled you back down into her lap. “What’s with the frown?”
You groaned and threw your head back. “She’s such an asshole. She left me on read!”
The team chuckled, glad to see you was somewhat back to yourself.
Your phone dinged and you pulled it out. She said ‘I love you too, weirdo’
There were a few moments of silence as everyone was thinking of what to do.
“Can we go on strike?”
“No!”
Casey flicked your ear for that.
Tobin spoke up, “Let’s create awareness first. Maybe identify the school board, post all the school’s faults on social media. I don’t know, just some ideas.”
Carli nodded her head. “Look, we’re here for you. For everyone in that school that’s been wronged. We’re gonna help you alright?”
You nodded your head and leaned back onto your team mom.
“And if all else fails, we go on strike.”
“Oh my god.”
—————-
Lowkey think this was trash but eh. I don’t really care at this point but uh this topic is very serious and what I put in here doesn’t even compare to what happens irl.
Not that kind of librarian Sonny- Tierna x Reader
Tumblr media
This is my first ever fic and I’m really nervous about it so tell me what you think. Prompt: “I work at a library and you continuously ask me to help you find books about the most random topics, are you on some sort of quest?”
On this particular day when Tierna walks into the Stanford library she stops dead in her tracks when she sees you standing at your desk. You are the most beautiful girl she has ever seen. She is so lost in thought that she doesn’t notice you walking right up to her.
“Can I help you with anything?”
She blinks quickly and looks around confused. Suddenly she can’t remember why she’s here. Panicking she blurts out the first thing she can think of to keep you from walking away.
“Dinosaurs!”
An adorable blush starts to creep up her freckled cheeks as she realizes she practically shouted at you. You smile softly and let out a quite chuckle.
“Do you have a specific dinosaur in mind?” You say as you start to lead her towards the correct section.
“Uhh no not really” She laughs nervously with a hand on the back of her neck. “I’m Tierna by the way, Tierna Davidson.” She finishes while extending her hand to you.
What she didn’t know is that you knew who she was the second that she walked through those doors. You were a huge soccer fan and even played all throughout high school, but your senior year you were told that if you got another serious concussion it could result in brain damage so you decided to hang up your boots for good to stay healthy.
Despite what you went through you still loved the game so when you arrived at Stanford you went to any game you could. Tierna is one of the best players to come through the Stanford program so it was no surprise to you when she finally got her first call up. From the very fist time you saw her play you were smitten, and now is no different.
“I know who you are Superstar,” You can’t help but grin as you watch her eyes widen. “I’m (Y/N) (Y/L/N),” You say as you finally bring your hand up to meet hers.
Just as you are reaching the books about dinosaurs you hear your boss call out to you, “(Y/N)! I need you to put these books back where they go!”
You can’t help but feel disappointed at your time with Tierna being cut short. For a fleeting moment as you turn towards her you think she may look disappointed too.
“Duty calls, I’ll see you around Superstar” You say as you bring your hand up to brush her arm. You’re already beginning to walk away before she can respond, but as you look back you see her nodding.
With her original purpose for coming to the library long forgotten Tierna quickly makes her way back to her dorm room texting into the USWNT groupchat as she went.
Baby T: SOS I JUST MET A CUTE GIRL AND I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO
Frat Daddy Sr.: Aww shes a baby gay.
Frat Daddy Sr.: I remember those days
Frat Daddy Sr.: It took me like 3 months to ask out my first girlfriend
Baby T: 3 MONTHS?!?!
Not so Baby Horse: Probably not helping worms
Frat Daddy Sr.: My bad T...
Frat Daddy Sr.: I’m sure you’ll be fine
Pressi: Just take a deep breath and tell us about this girl honey
Baby T: I was headed to the library for only god knows what at this point and I saw her standing by her desk and I couldn’t help but stare because she is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. By the time I realized that she was standing next to me I had already forgotten what I had came for so when she asked what I was looking for I just blurted out the first thing I could think of. AND she already knew who I was and didn’t seem bothered by it at all.
Dasani: Wait I thought librarians were only hot in pornos?
PewPew: Eww Sonny, not that kinda librarian
The Great Horan: I don’t see the issue here, just ask her out
Uncle: Yeah just go back tomorrow and ask her to coffee or something
Rose🌹: Leave it to Lyss to be the voice of reason haha
Baby T: Just ask her to coffee, how hard could that be? Thanks everyone, minus Kelley and Emily
Frat Daddy Sr.: HEY!
Dasani: HEY!
The next day you’re sitting behind your desk when you see Tierna walk inside. When she spots you she smiles and starts walking towards you. As she gets closer you call out, “I get to see the Superstar two days in a row? Must be my lucky day”
Her step falters as a deep red blush rises to her cheeks. Making Tierna a blushing mess is quickly becoming your new favorite thing. “What can I do for you today Superstar?”
She stands rooted to the spot staring blankly at you. You start to think that maybe she’s not as into you as you thought and maybe you should cut back on the flirting when she finally rushes out, “Doyouwannagogetcoffeewithmemaybe?”
“I’m sorry, what did you say? All I got out of that was coffee. You’re gonna have to talk slower babe.”
Her eyes widen and somehow her blush gets even darker. She clears her throat before speaking again.
“I uh... I asked if you.. if you... had any books on how to make coffee.”
You give her a weird look as you turn to your computer to see if the library has such a book. While you are distracted Tierna facepalms at her nerves getting the best of her once again. She is pulled out her thoughts by the sound of your voice.
“You’re in luck Superstar, we have one book on how to make coffee.” You say as you get up to pull the book off the shelf and check it out for her. “Is there anything else I can do for you?”
“Uh..Nope. That’s it I guess. Thanks (Y/N)”
You watch disappointed again as Tierna walks away. Before your brain can catch up to what you’re doing you grab a pen and run after her. “Hey Superstar! Wait up!”
Tierna turns around slowly and watches as you jog up to her. She’s extremely confused since she thought that she blew it with you once again. When you finally reach her you grab her arm and before either of you think about it you write your number on her arm. When you see the goofy smile spreading on her face as it dawns on her what just happened you knew that you made the right decision.
“Call me Superstar.” You say with a wink as you start walking back towards your desk.
As you walk back you hear a load yell and turn just in time to see Tierna land from her flying fist pump. You shake you head with a smile, this goofy girl held the key to your heart and she didn’t even know it yet.
On her way back to her dorm Tierna excitedly pulls out her phone to update the team.
Baby T: GUYS GUYS GUYS! I GOT HER NUMBER!!!
Pressi: That’s great sweetheart! Now, do we get a name for this mystery lady of yours?
Uncle: So I guess the plan worked?
Baby T: Oh yeah! Her name is (Y/N), and not exactly...
Frat Daddy Sr.: What do you mean “not exactly” it either worked or it didn’t
Baby T: Well you see, I was GOING to ask her out to coffee, but then she was flirting with me and called me babe out of nowhere so I panicked and asked for a book on how to make coffee...
Not so Baby Horse: Oh honey
Dasani: Wait how did you end up with her number then!?
Baby T: She ran up and wrote it on my arm when I was leaving
PewPew: So now that you got her number are you going to invite her to the game Saturday?
Baby T: Should I?
PewPew: You said she already knew who you were, so that means shes a fan right?
Baby T: Good point. Thanks!
Your shift ended almost an hour ago and you still haven’t heard anything back from Tierna. You were starting to worry that you had written your number down wrong when you hear your phone go off.
Unknown: Hey it’s Tierna
Maybe?Tierna: From Stanford
(Y/N): Hey Superstar, I was beginning to think you didn’t like me anymore ;)
Superstar: Oh, sorry lol. So we have a national team game coming up this Saturday in LA and I was wondering if maybe you wanted to come watch and like meet the team and stuff
Superstar: But like its totally cool if you already have plans, or if you don’t want to go
(Y/N): I’d love to
Superstar: Really? Awesome. Okay cool, I can’t wait.
(Y/N): Me either, I’ll see you Saturday
Saturday could not come soon enough, you drove 6 hours on Friday to get to your hotel and relax before the game. Tierna had to leave in the middle of the week to meet up with the rest of the team so this will be the first time you’ll be seeing her since you gave her your number. Luckily you bought her USWNT jersey last year so you’re able to show your support.
You get to the game early so you can watch the team warm up, when your eyes meet Tierna’s you can’t help the excited squeal you let out as you wave to her. She had pulled some strings to make sure that you got a seat close to the bench ans was excited to see that the staff went all out and gave you front row seats.
On the field Emily notices that Tierna has gotten distracted and follows her line of vision. When she shes your happy dance and notices your jersey a devilish smirk appears on her face before she calls out to the team.
“Hey look eveybody, T’s Sexy Librarian is here” Her snickering is interrupted by a thump on the back of her head from both Christen and Ali.
“Get your head out of the gutter Sonnett”
From your seat you watch on amused at the reaction that your presence has caused. Soon after that the game was starting, the US were playing the Korean Republic and while it would not be as exciting as a rivalry game it was still a very good game. Tierna started and played a full 90 with some great plays on the ball.
Once the game was over and most of their gear was packed up Kelley noticed that Tierna kept glancing back towards your seat behind the bench. Tierna jumped when she felt Kelley’s hand on her shoulder.
“Oh, hey Kelley”
“Just go ask her out already dude, you’ve been texting her non stop since you got here so I think its safe to say she likes you too.” She whispers in her ear.
“Now go get your sexy librarian!” She laughs as she shoves her towards you
You smile as you see that ever present blush start to creep up her face as she walks towards you. When she finally reaches you she takes a deep breath before speaking.
“(Y/N)? I really like you. As in make me forget my on name kinda like you. From the very first second I saw you in the library last week I was awestruck by your beauty. That’s why every time I came to the library instead of getting what I came for I left with some book I didn’t need. If you’ll let me I’d like to take you on a date so that we can get to know each other without a phone screen and 350 miles between us.”
Throughout her little speech your smile continued to grow, but towards the end you could read her face and see that the nerves were starting to fight their way to the surface so you decided to interrupt her before she could start rambling.
“Hey Superstar?”
“-oh uh, yes?”
With a smirk you watch her eyes go wide as you lean forward and grab the nape of her neck.
“Just shut up and kiss me already,”
For once she stopped overthinking and listened to her heart.
Note
I've never sent pictures through asks so lemme know if these didn't send properly lmao but basically here's Julie Foudy's predictions for the locked in players for the Olympic roster:
GK/Defense: Alyssa, Abby, Crystal, Becky, Kelley, Sonnett
Tumblr media
Midfield/Forward: Julie, Lindsey, Sam, Rose, Christen, Tobin
Tumblr media
Probable (not exactly bubble players but players who haven't seen the field long enough to be considered locked in): Alex, Rapinoe, Carli
Tumblr media
And now here are Julie Foudy's selected bubble players.
Defense: Tierna, Ali, Midge
Midfield: Andi, Jaelin, Kristie
Forward: Lynn, Sophia, Cat
Tumblr media
oh DOPE.
Okay my impression right away is to be petty, so here goes
THIS IS FOR ALL OF YOU BITCHES WHO SAID 'lol who thinks of CP as a midfielder' WELL GUESS WHAT I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE! AND TOBIN TOO? IT'S LIKE I WON THE PETTY LOTTERY. SUCK ON THAT PREDICTION Y'ALL ✌🏻(jk I love you guys but still, I feel like Holt screaming VINDICATIOOOONNNNN).
ALSO PETTY X2 ON THE PEOPLE WHO GAVE ME SHIT FOR STARTING OUT WITH ONLY 3 FORWARDS FOR MY ROSTER. BITE MY BUUUUTT AGAIN. (still, with like, love)
But also uh, same ol same ol tbh? I'm not particularly jazzed at bringing bag o' bones Lloyd—can you say "geriatrics united"? —but aside from that this looks exactly like what I expected this team would come up with. I wish I could say bench those who shall not be named but alas, not in this time crunch, so tried and true is the way.
Honestly I'm way more interested in the bubble players here! If Glass Ankles KO can keep it together, that would bring it down to at most 1 of the bubble defenders that can be brought along. After yesterday's game with Colombia (nerfed as we were) I can't discount Ali Krieger and I apologize for shit talking a queen. If Tierna can stay healthy she'd be a good player to bring along because she provides some solid backing for the CB position (although Broon and Dahlkemper are p healthy, we advocate for solid turn taking here). I'd love to see Midge because IF none of the bubble forwards get brought along/there are injuries she's the perfect player to drop in the forward line.
Kristie Mewis would be my pick to bring along just because so far she's been on fire! And I'd love to see how she can bring some different versatility and ball handling under pressure for the midfield. I'm also a sucker for the Mewis Sisters on the field at the same time and I'd like if Vlatko could give me that. Andi Sullivan would provide a good playmaking/winger spot but she also needs to be wrapped in bubblewrap nowadays which suuucks. Jaelin still has her whole career ahead of her, so missing the Olympics wouldn't be the worst (bc of how stacked the midfield is), I'd take Kmew over here and let her develop for future tournaments.
Get👏🏻Lynn👏🏻Williams👏🏻Off👏🏻This👏🏻Team👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Amazing skill should be rewarded with a spot in the NT when there's just no payoff for it. Lynn is a GREAT striker and her speed is an asset, in the nwsl. But she couldn't find the net if the goalie suddenly dropped dead and the defenders were swept away by a tornado. At least not without missing said net 3x first. It's okay to not fit here. It doesn't dimish her skills, it doesn't make her any less amazing, she just doesn't fit the team right now, no harm in that. Need I say anything more about Sophia Smith other than bringing up the "paper skin and glass bones" meme again? Kid needs to be sealed away for a while and deal with her injuries PROPERLY before being considered for any more rosters/camps. And not just for the good of the team, for her own fucking health. Just ask KO how pushing through injuries worked out for her.
Finally, as the self appointed president of the Catarina Macario fan club, bring the child. This forward core, unlike the midfield, I've literally nicknamed the retirement home. Catarina lifts up the players around her when she's on the field, she and Rose are a deadly combination, even Pinoe played better with her on the field. She brings a great spark to the team, she works hard, I think that this tournament would be good for her. The shortage in good forwards nonwithstanding, I think not bringing her would be a mistake I'm gonna advocate for leaving Lloyd at home but I might get killed for it.
So, this roster looked like what I expected, but the bubble players are gonna make this really exciting! Also someone correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't they being 2 GKs? Bc uh, where the other one at? I'll campaign outside the uswnt hq and vlatko's house to never bring Jane Campbell to anything else, just waiting on confirmation.
Thank you for the pics dude! (thank you to everyone who sent me the roster too! I grabbed the top ask but Y'all are AWESOME)
What Are You Building? - Tierna Davidson/Reader
prompt: R has been traded to Chicago and is dating Tierna. That means she’s closer to one of their favorite stores.
words:1132
warnings: None
Tumblr media
Y/N POV
I kicked the door shut with my hands full with the last of the boxes that I had gotten from today but I gave Tierna a small smile as she crossed her arms glancing to all of the other boxes I had already brought in.
“What did you get?”
“Uh...”
“(Y/N), if you spent-”
“I only spent money from a fund Dad and I set up,” I assured.
I sat the last few boxes by the table. I grabbed a big enough antistatic mat from my room before sitting it on the table. Tierna sat down at the table before I started to sort through the boxes looking for a couple of certain ones first.
“So, where did you go?”
“Micro Center,” I grinned at her. Tierna furrowed her brow in confusion. “An electronic store. Dad and I used to go to the one in Westmont just about every weekend. I didn’t come to the one here in Chicago until I had saved up enough of my allowance to buy parts to build my first pc.”
I sat a couple of the boxes on top of the table. I quickly pulled my hair up before starting to unbox the motherboard first. I gently laid it on top of the antistatic mat so that static wouldn’t build up around it.
“So you’re building a pc?” Tierna questioned. I looked at her before I nodded. “Okay, how do you do it?”
“You wanna build a pc?” I asked, causing Tierna to nod her head. “With me?”
“Well, yes. I have to make sure that our future kids don’t think you’re smarter than me just because you can build a pc.”
I paused at that. Tierna and I hadn’t really talked much about our future together. I knew that we both liked what we had, but I didn’t think that Tierna had really thought about a future with me.
“You wanna have kids? With me?”
Tierna chuckled but she flashed me that beautiful smile that always seemed to brighten up the room.
“Of course I do, (Y/N),” Tierna moved closer to my side. “I thought that a future together was pretty obvious since we do live together and we’re now playing for the same club.”
“It’s just, we’ve never talked about it.”
“Well, how about we talk about it after you show me how to build a pc?”
I nodded before turning back to the parts in front of me. I glanced at Tierna a shot her a soft smile.
“Okay, so we’ve got a Gigabyte X570 AORUS Ultra motherboard cause of the CPU we’re using,” I started to explain.
“What’s the CPU got to do with the motherboard we choose?” Tierna asked.
“You don’t wanna use certain types of motherboards with different CPUs,” I shrugged. “Plus you have to make sure that the motherboard is actually compatible with the CPU. Like, I got a X570 motherboard because I got an AMD Ryzen CPU. Its kind of hard for me to explain, but I definitely can later if you want me to.”
“I’d like that,” Tierna nodded. “You’re cute when you’re talking about computers.”
“Cause I know a lot about them?”
“No, cause you focus on telling people about them and your nose does that cute little twitch when you’re focusing.”
I felt my face heat up as I ducked my head.
“Okay, whatever,” I shook my head as I opened the next box. “This is our CPU. I picked out an AMD Ryzen 5 3600X. This is my favorite CPU right now.”
“Really? You have a favorite CPU?”
“Yeah,” I nodded as I pulled the CPU out of the box. “Which I favor AMD over Intel. Probably cause Dad loved AMD so much, but he had a reason for it. They make great CPUs especially for gaming.”
“So that’s what you’re going to do with this pc. Gaming.”
“I mean, I’ll do more than just that with it, Tierna,” I shrugged as I glanced at her. “There is gonna be so much more that I can do with this than just gaming.”
I unlatched the CPU holder before I pulled the CPU from the plastic that it was sitting in. I held onto the CPU by the sides as I pulled Tierna closer to it.
“See this little arrow here?” I asked, pointing to it. I waited for Tierna to nod before I pointed to the one on the motherboard. “We have to line it up with this one.”
“Can I?”
“Just hold it from the same sides that I am. You don’t wanna touch any of the pins,” I instructed. Tierna gave me a small smile before taking the CPU. She put it in the spot. “Now, gently push on it to make sure it’s in place.”
Tierna did and I gave her a grin as I latched the CPU holder. I made sure that we had everything we needed to get the CPU cooler hooked up before Tierna put the sticks of RAM in. I was helping Tierna push the first stick of RAM since she was having a little trouble to get that perfect click sound when the door opened.
“What are you two doing?”
Both of us looked up to see Alyssa staring at us with bags in her hands. I pushed Tierna’s hands down so that the RAM clicked in.
“Building a computer,” Tierna said.
“You know how to build a computer?” Alyssa asked.
“Well, no, but that’s why (Y/N)’s teaching me.”
“So, you know how to build a computer?” Alyssa turned to me.
“Well, yeah,” I nodded my head. “Dad taught me when I was younger. It was kind of our thing. What are you doing here?”
“We decided to have lunch together,” Alyssa reminded us. She held up the bags. “I stopped and got those burgers you’re always talking about.”
“Oh, yeah, we did say we’d eat lunch with you,” Tierna nodded. She moved to join Alyssa who sat at the bar. Tierna turned back to look at me. “You coming?”
“Not until after I get this finished,” I shook my head. Tierna started to move back toward me. “Don’t worry about it. Go ahead and eat. I’ll only need like another 2 hours to finish this. You can watch. I’ll probably build another PC soon enough. You can always help me with that one.”
“I love you, you goof,” Tierna shook her head while walking back over to me. She gave me a quick peck on the cheek. “We’ll be hanging out in the living room when you get done.”
I smiled as I watched her head toward the living room with Alyssa.
“Hey, T,” I called out, causing both of them to stop and look at me. “I love you too.”
Knucklehead Moves~USWNT x Baby Reader
Tumblr media
Prompt: Similar to the imagine “Skateboarding Shenanigans” baby r gets hurt and faints...
Requested by: @laikato
Y/N PRO//
My name is Y/N L/N and I have 22 “moms”and sisters. Now I know what you’re thinking “22 of them? How?” Well you see I’m the youngest player on the USWNT at 16 years old, and as such the older players feel the need to be protective and parental in every situation and the younger ones are treated much the same way that I am. I’m sure if they had it their way I’d be wrapped in bubble wrap and carried around 24/7. They’re always saying how I’m “ the clumsiest kid they know.” and a “knucklehead” when it comes to doing anything that doesn’t involve kicking around a soccer ball. I wholeheartedly disagree but they’ll hear nothing of it. Speaking of the team, they’re picking me up from the airport any minute now.
“Y/N!”
I turned around to see all of my teammates running towards me, breaking into a run myself I met them halfway.
“Hey guys!”
“Short stack! How you been?”
“Kiddo! We missed you!”
“You’ve grown since we saw you last!”
I continued to be greeted like that and made sure to give everyone a hug.
“I haven’t grown that much!” I playfully rolled my eyes
“Yes you have.” They all said
After we finished our Hello’s and got my bag from the luggage claim we split into groups and made our way to the hotel we were staying at for this camp. I was in a car with Alex, Tobin, Kelley, Morgan, and Megan.
“So kid, how’s school?” Tobin asked.
‘it’s good. I’m passing all my classes and I nailed my history test last week.”
“That’s awesome! Good job bub.” Christen said
“Thanks.”
“Any accidents?” Megan said smirking at me.
“U-um, no. No accidents.” I fidgeted in my seat.
“Mhm. How many?”
“3.”
“How bad.”
“Only ever a 4 or less.”
“A 4 on your scale is a 7 on anyone else’s scale.”
“Is not!”
“Right, well what about that time you injured yourself after you fell down a flight of stairs and then said “It’s only a 4.”?” Alex asked
Everyone else gave me a knowing look while chuckling at the offended look on my face.
“It was!”
“Okay, okay. Settle down. We’re only teasing.” Morgan said
“in all seriousness though, you have got to be more careful Y/N.”
I just rolled my eyes playfully at them as we pulled up to the hotel. When we got out Megan was determined to carry my bag for me.
“Pinoe I can carry my stuff.”
“I know but I just want to be helpful.”
“Well, thank you.”
“Anytime.”
“Besides kiddo, I wanted to carry you.” Alex said taking me by surprise and picking me up and all but cradling me.
“Alexxx. I’m a big girl, I can walk.”
“Just let it happen Y/N.” Tobin laughed
“Ugh, fineee.”
When we got into the lobby to find out room assignments Alex finally put me down, with a pat to my butt and told me to “Stay close.”
“Yes mom.” I said jokingly.
I took off in the direction Morgan had gone and caught up with her, Mal, Lindsey, Sam, Emily, Tierna and Rose.
“Hey guys!”
“Hey Y/N! You ready for camp?” Sam asked
“Oh yeah, definitely.”
“You ready for all the pranks we are gonna pull?”
“Yeah Sonny, I am. What are you guys thinking?” I giggled
“Well what about the good ol’ water bucket above the door trick?”
“Nah, that’s such an amateur move.” Lindsey said
“Ooo, what if we switched the water with… flour?” Mal said
“That sounds like quite the mess but that’s what we’re known for. I’m in.” Sam said
“Me too.”
“Me three.”
“Are you guys sure that’s a good idea? You know how the girls are about their hair.” I said hesitantly
“Aw, come on Y/n. Don’t be a chicken.”
“I just don’t want the others to kill us.”
“Why would we kill you?” Carli asked coming out of nowhere.
“No reason!” We all said
“Mhm. What’re you hooligans planning?”
“Wha- why would you think we were planning anything?” I said nervously
“Well, for starters I’m talking to the youngest players on this team and every time we come to camp someone always ends up either getting their hair dyed or with itching powder in their underwear and it’s always traced back to one of you.” She said, giving us a look.
“Oh would you look at that, it’s time to go up to our rooms. Come on Y/N, you’re rooming with me!” Lindsey said, grabbing my hand and dragging me away.
“Thanks a lot guys!” Morgan called after us as we ran away.
“Lindsey, Y/n, walk!” Alex scolded as we passed her.
“Yes mom!” We replied
We made it up to our room and decided to do rock paper scissors for the bed closes to the bathroom. I won of course.
“We have today off to settle in right?” I asked
“Yeah, why?”
“You wanna see if the others wanna go to a park for a little 4v4?”
“Yeah!”
I texted the group I had with the other “Youngins” and told them to meet us down stairs in 5 to go to the park. They all agreed and said they would get a ball from the coaching staff. I texted the group I was in with the veterans and let them know where I was going, with who and that we’d be back soon. I received several
“Be safe.”
“Make sure to wear your sweater, it’s chilly.” And
“Be careful, don’t get hurt.” Texts. Moms I swear, always thinking it’s chilly.
I was pretty certain I wasn’t going to get hurt and that I didn’t need a sweater but I replied and promised that I’d wear one and that I would be careful. The girls and I met in the lobby and made our way to a park that we knew was nearby.
The 4v4 started out pretty smoothly, It was me, Lindsey, Tirena, and Sam on one team and Mal, Rose, Emily and Morgan on the other. My team was down by 2 but I knew it wouldn’t stay that way for long. Sam crossed the ball to me and I went to head it passed Morgan.
 What happened next was like one of those freak accidents that if I had shifted my body even an inch away or had been a second earlier or later it wouldn’t have happened. Emily kicked her foot out to clear the ball away and instead made contact with my forehead. I hit the turf with a deafening thud and stayed down in a heap. Getting kicked in the head is just as nasty as it sounds. I could definitely feel blood gushing from my head.
“Y/N! Oh, shit! I’m so so sorry. I was only ever aiming for the ball I swear!”
Emily was the first to reach me the others close behind. Her and Sam turned me over to look at my head and gasped when they saw the blood
“Moms are gonna kill us!” Emily said
“Nu uh, Emily they are gonna kill you.”
 “Who cares who they’re gonna kill! We have to do something!”
Mal and Morgan set to work, Morgan texting Abby and telling her what happened, making her swear not to tell until we at least made it look like I wasn’t dying and Mal taking her shirt off and pressing it to my forehead to stop the blood. Rose was doing her best to calm Emily who was distraught and Tierna was doing the same for Sam.
“How you feeling Y/N?” Mal asked
“Like I got kicked in the head.” I replied
“We’re gonna take you back to the hotel and have the medical staff stitch you up.”
“How are we gonna get passed all the vets?”
“uhhh… Not a clue.” Rose said
“We’re gonna be in so much trouble.”
After they were finally able to make the bleeding stop just enough to get me up and help me back to the hotel, we sent Morgan ahead to see if the coast was clear. When she signaled to us that it was we made our way in and quickly headed to see the medical staff. The others surrounded me so that I was hidden from any curious onlookers
“What seems to be the problem ladies?” Dawn asked
“Uhh, well… Y/N sorta got kicked in the head during a 4v4 in the park.” Emily said, moving aside to show Dawn.
Dawn just shook her head, said something like “of course she did.” And told me to sit on the table so the medics could stitch me up.
“You know the others will want to know what happened, right?”
“Dawn, please don’t tell them. I will, but not yet.”
She gave me an unimpressed look but agreed none the less.
“Geez kid, you’re always getting hurt.” The medic chuckled.
“Yeah, yeah. I know.”
They finished the stitches and told me how to take care of them and sent us all on our way. The girls did the same thing they did last time in case we ran into the girls, this time I had my hood up to cover my wound.
“Hey guys, what’s up?” Ashlyn asked, coming up to us.
“Nothing!” We all said.
“Okay, what are you guys hiding?”
“Nothing. We gotta go though, bye Ash.” I said before I pushed Emily and Lindsey forward so they would start running.
Ashlyn PRO//
“Those kids are definitely hiding something.” I thought, shaking my head and walking back to my room with Ali.
“Hey babe?”
“Yeah?”
“Have you noticed the youngins acting weird lately?”
“No, why?”
“I dunno, it’s just that they were walking all tightly together and whispering about something and when I asked them what was up they all were acting weird. Especially Y/N.”
“Hmm, I’ll text Alex to see if she can get them to talk about it.”
She sent her a text and received a reply saying that she would wait in Y/N and Lindsey’s room, after asking the staff for an extra key and that she would let us know.
“I hope they’re okay.”
“I’m sure they are, they probably just set up a messy prank again.” I shrugged.
Alex PRO//
After tricking the receptionist into giving me a key to Y/N and Lindsey’s room, I decided to just wait on Y/N’s bed. I would see what was really going on. I felt like I had been waiting forever when the door opened and all the young players on the team made their way inside.
“Well here’s what we’re not gonna do…”
They didn’t even seem to notice me yet, talking among themselves. Emily was the first to spot me, and when she did I saw all the color drain from her face.
“A-Alex?”
“Alex? What about her?” Morgan asked still not looking in the direction of the bed. Emily stopped her in her tracks and pointed to where I was sitting. Everyone else finally saw me and much like Emily they looked scared.
“Oh.”
“Yeah, oh. Is there something you guys want to tell me?” I said sternly
“W-well… you see… what had happened was-”
I cut her off when I saw Y/N was swaying on her feet and holding her head. She looked like she was going to pass out.
“Y/N? What’s wrong?” I asked jumping up and going to her.
“I-I…”
She didn’t get to finish because she fainted, I was able to catch her and hold her up with ease. My focus then shifted to the seven guilty players standing timidly by the door.
“Explanation. Now.” I growled
“I kicked Her in the head! I’m sorry!” Emily cried
“YOU WHAT?”
I picked Y/N up and carried her over to the bed where I laid her head gently on the pillow.
“Someone go get a cold wash cloth and someone call Christen, Ali and Ashlyn. Now.”
They all immediately started scrambling to do what I said and I could tell they were even more scared than before.
“I can’t believe none of you thought to tell us. Completely irresponsible. Does any one else know about this?”
I gasped when I removed her hoodie and saw the stitches.
“We went to Dawn when we got back and we begged her not to tell. And we texted Abby right after it happened but same thing.” Mal said
Dammit Dawn.
“Tell Abby to get her ass in here, right now.”
I took the cold rag from Emily and pressed it gently to Y/N’s cheek, neck and then being extra careful around her stitches, pressed it to her head.
“Y/N, open your eyes baby. You’re okay. Please open your eyes.”
She slowly started to open her eyes, looking around wildly before trying to sit up.
“Wha- where am I?”
“You’re in your room baby. Take it easy, you need to lay down.” I cooed
She kept trying to sit up but I gently pushed her back down every time.
“Shh, it’s okay.”
Knocking sounded from the door and Rose went to answer it.
“Hey Al, what’s the- ”
“Oh my god, what happened?” Christen exclaimed.
“Emily kicked Y/N in the head.”
“You what?!” The newcomers yelled
“And Abby knew about it this whole time.”
“You knew?! Why didn’t you tell us?!”
“Ow, guys cool it with the yelling.” Y/N whined
“Sorry babe.” Ali said
“Sorry, kid. Our bad.” Ash said.
“I said I was sorry! It was an accident, I swear!”
“I swore I wouldn’t tell!”
“Guys, seriously.”
“Sorry, we’ll be quiet.”
“How the fuck did you manage to kick her?”
“We were playing a 4v4 game and when she went to head the ball passed Morgan I went to kick it out and got her forehead instead.”
“Jesus.” Ali said rubbing her temples.
“It was an accident?” I asked
“Completely.”
“You’re all grounded.” Christen said.
“What? that’s not fair!”
“ Actually it’s completely fair. You need to be careful and I know it was an accident but what you did was reckless and someone got hurt, and you hid it from us and we only found out after Y/N passed out.” I said leaving no room for argument
“What about Y/N? Why isn’t she grounded?” Tierna whined
“She’s hurt and I think that’s punishment enough.” Ashlyn said
“We’ll be with her 24/7 from now on anyways.” I added
“mmm… Nooooo” Y/N whined.
“it’s for your own good, kiddo.”
Later we told the whole team what happened and to say they weren’t please was an understatement. I had to talk Kelley down from kicking Sonnett’s ass and Becky had to convince Megan to switch rooms with her so she wouldn’t kill Morgan. The same could be said for the others. They understood that it was an accident but they hated that the girls hid it from us.
“How is she?” Kelley asked, having come over to check on our youngest teammate
“She could be better, she’s still groggy but she’s better than she was.” I shrugged
“What are we gonna do with her?”
“I vote bubble wrap.” Christen said
“I second that.” Tobin said
“Guys, that’s a little extreme don’t you think?” Ali chuckled
“She’s such a knucklehead though. She hid a pretty nasty injury from us. It’d be a way to make sure she’s safe.” Ashlyn chimed in
“Mmm, no. Ali is right. We’ll just have to keep a closer eye on her from now on.”
“I can take care of myself.” She mumbled, starting to wake up.
“We’re sure you can bub, but after today and at least for a little while we’re going to be hovering and babying you more than usual.” Chris said
“Ugh. Whatever.” She grumbled
We chuckled at her but we knew she would appreciate it anyways and that she secretly loved it when we babied her.
She definitely was a piece of work sometimes and she kept us on our toes but we loved her more than anything and would always be there to help her when she was down.
Goalie - Alyssa Naeher x Reader
Prompt: Could I ask you to write one with a reader who moves in next door to Alyssa. They start off as neighbors to friends and eventually they both fall for one another?
Alyssa waved to Y/N as she pulled out of her driveway to leave for practice, Y/N waved back, smiling in return before going back to cutting her lawn. Y/N finished her lawn before crossing the driveway and doing Alyssa’s. She continued to mow the lawn, taking the weed whip and cleaning the edges, finishing by sweeping up the trim along the sidewalk and driveway.
When Alyssa came back late that afternoon, seeing her freshly maintained yard. Making her way to her backyard, she found it equally as maintained as the front. She looked over her fence, Y/N tipped her beer bottle to the keeper and shot her a smile.
“You cut my lawn,” Alyssa said matter of fact.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Y/N smirked, taking a sip of her beer.
Alyssa didn’t know what to say, “uhh, thanks,” she gave her an awkward smile before walking into the house.
They repeated the same pattern the next morning. Alyssa left mid-morning, waving to Y/N as she pulled out, Y/N smiling and waving, pausing clipping the hedges.
Alyssa returned that afternoon just as Y/N was finishing her run up the driveway. Y/N threw a quick wave towards the keeper, continuing to the backyard. As Alyssa got out of her car, she noticed her hedges were clean cut as well, all remanence of them cleaned up. Looking over her fence, she saw Y/N sprawled out on her back, shirt off, awkwardly drinking from a water bottle without lifting her head. The soccer player smiled then laughed loudly when the bottle slipped, and Y/N managed to pour most of the water on herself.
Y/N tilted her head back, seeing the keeper laughing at her, she smirked in return, “you have your skills and I have mine.”
“Was that one of them?” Alyssa leaned her arms on the top of the fence.
Y/N rolled onto her stomach, sitting all the way up and beginning to stretch her legs, “what if it was?”
“I’m not really sure what talent that Is, but I am definitely impressed.”
“As you should, do you know many people who can spill water while laying on their back?”
“Lots actually. It kind of just sounds like gravity.”
Y/N shifted positions, moving to an extended plank, dropping her heels one at a time, alternating them to stretch her calves. Alyssa sucked in a quick breath, never having really noticed her neighbours musculature before, the way her shoulder flexed as she shifted her weight, the muscles in her back popping, the skin tan from her time working in the sun.
“You trimmed my hedges,” the keeper said.
“I trimmed my hedges, yours just happened to be in my way,” she picked up her mostly empty bottle, smirking before taking a sip, gulping the rest down.
“How did they get in the way? Yours are all the way over there,” she pointed across the yard, “and mine,” she pointed to her yard, “are all the way over here.”
“Like, I said, got in my way,” Y/N winked, moving to stand and walk into her house.
Alyssa pushed herself off the fence shaking her head. She had no idea what was happening, she was more than capable of doing her own yard work, her teammates all coming to her to help with their household projects. She didn’t need someone coming over and doing it for her.
Sitting in a lawn chair, she took note of all the things in her yard that needed to get done, beginning to create a list, hoping to prove to her neighbour she didn’t need anyone taking care of her. Fortunately, the next day she was off, so she would be able to do most of it. Her plan was to be up early, start working before Y/N could.
As soon as her alarm went off the next morning, Alyssa groaned, regretting her personal decision to complete her outside to do list. She got out of bed, dressing herself in her work clothes. Making a coffee she made her way to back porch and began deciding where to start.
“Morning neighbour!” Y/N called over the fence, smiling.
Alyssa looked over, seeing Y/N already ready to begin working, maybe even already started, “do you sleep?” she groaned.
“I work shift work,” she shrugged smiling, taking a step off her deck and began working.
The keeper shook her head and got to work on her list in the back yard.
“You dug up my yard,” Alyssa stopped dead when she made her way to the front an hour later.
“You’re very observant for a soccer player,” Y/N smirked as she knelt on the ground, hands and shirt covered in mud.
“Why did you dig up my yard?”
“You are also very dramatic for a soccer player,” Y/N pointed a muddy finger at the blonde, “you had a leaky sprinkler, I fixed it. And it wasn’t your whole yard, just a small hole,” she began filling in the hole, packing the dirt in, sprinkling fresh soil on top and adding grass seed.
“I know I did, I was coming to fix it,” Alyssa pointed at the hole, “you don’t need to keep doing my yard work for me.”
Y/N pushed herself up, wiping the mud and dirt off her hands, spreading more on her shirt and pants, “you’re welcome,” she winked and walked away, “nap time! Night goalie!” she called over her shoulder.
“It’s keeper,” Alyssa mumbled since the other woman was already out of ear shot.
The keeper didn’t see her neighbour for a couple days, only knowing she was around because the always perfectly cut grass, the grass seed Y/N planted after around her recently fixed sprinkler coming in already.
“You are not seriously on my roof right now?” Alyssa called when she pulled up after practice a couple weeks later.
“It’s supposed to storm, and your gutters needed to be cleaned,” Y/N called back down, pushing a fistful of leaves into her pail next to her on the roof, “I thought I would be done before you got home,” she began climbing down the ladder.
Lifting the ladder off the house, she began to carry it back to her own garage, putting it away. Alyssa awkwardly following behind, watching Y/N put her tools away.
“I can clean my own gutters,” Alyssa called from the garage door.
“But now you don’t need to goalie,” Y/N winked as she walked towards the keeper.
“Keeper” she mumbled, “I can also do all my own yard work.”
“But now you don’t need to goalie,” Y/N repeated, intentionally enunciating her position name incorrectly, “besides, it’d be weird if I did your inside housework. Now, unless you’re going to be my big spoon, it’s nap time,” Y/N winked, patting Alyssa on the arm as she walked into her house.
Alyssa blushed and let her neighbour walk away, not knowing what to say back.
“Flip it on her Uncle,” Tierna tried to reassure the keeper the next day at practice.
“I tried! I got up early, but she still found stuff to do for me.”
“Not what I meant, next time she asks you to spoon, say yes. Or offer the pour the water on her to speed up time,” Tierna patted her thigh.
The keeper looked over her fence after practice to see Y/N sprawled on her deck again. Y/N was in shorts and sports bra again, sweat covering her body, full water bottle next to her.
She began to push away from the fence before she remembered what Tierna suggested at practice that day. Flip it on her.
“Am I in time for the show?” she called over the fence, pulling a smile onto her neighbours’ face.
“Oh you’re just in time,” she smirked, picking up the bottle and chugging it without lifting her head of the ground. When she finished it, she tossed it dramatically to the side, tilting her head to fully see the keeper.
“It was a much better show when you spilt it all over yourself,” Alyssa shrugged as best she could leaning over the fence, smiling.
“You’re more than welcome to come over and try for yourself. I have been practicing just for you,” Y/N winked.
The keeper blushed, biting her lip, trying to figure out what to say next.
“I, uh, I’ve got a hose if you want me to speed the process up,” Alyssa motioned over her shoulder.
“I know you have a hose,” Y/N giggled while she sat up, “I’ve used it. Someone needed to since you can’t take care of that yard of yours,” she smirked.
“You know, that sounds like you’re admitting breaking and entering,” Alyssa giggled.
“If you’re going to accuse me of a crime, you can at least come over here and bring me beer,” Y/N pointed at her, trying to keep her face serious.
Alyssa didn’t say anything, just backed away from the fence.
“Shit, I was kidding goalie!” Y/N called after her.
“Keeper,” Alyssa said as she walked into the back yard, stretching a beer bottle out.
“Thanks keeper,” Y/N smiled as she took the beer.
