Young Reginald: I'm Reginald Copperbottom! Son of the right hand man of Terrence Suave, and you?

Young RHM: You can call me Rockie.

Young Reginald: Is that your name? Or-

Young RHM: No no, just call me Rockie please, my real name is not meant to be known.

Young Reginald: Well alright, let me show you around!

Young RHM: Well... That would be nice...

*Little Rupert was at the park with his parents until he notices some kids bullying another one*

Little Rupert: Oi! You guys! Leave him alone!

Bully #1: Or what? What are you gonna do hedgehog?

Bully #2: Haha! Hedgehog!

Bully #3: It's funny because he literally has hair like a hedgehog!

Little Rupert: If you don't stop then I'll tell my parents!

Bully #2: Ooh I'm so scared!

Bully #1: What a freak!

Little Rupert: That was the last straw! *Looks at his parents* Mommy! Daddy!

Rupert's mom: Rupert? What's wrong sweetie?

Rupert's dad: is everything alright champion?

Little Rupert: These kids are calling me a freak!

Rupert's dad: Is that true? *Looks at the kids with a cold expression*

Bully #1: Y-your dad is Mauricio Price??

Bully #3: T-the world's strongest police man??

Little Rupert: Yes he is!

Rupert's dad: Listen you three! If you don't leave my son alone by the count of three, I'll tell your parents about this.

The three bullies: A-alright!! Sorry sir!!

*the three bullies run away*

Little Rupert: Hah! That should teach them! *Looks at the kid that was being bullied* Are you okay?

Little Dave: Y-yeah, I'm good, thanks for defending me.

Little Rupert: No worries! I won't let them hurt you! But you also need to be brave and strong.

Little Dave: Y-yeah... I know...

Little Rupert: Don't worry I'll help you, besides my dad is the coolest police man in the entire city!

Little Dave: R-really? That sounds awesome.

Little Rupert: I know! By the way my name's Rupert, Rupert Price.

Little Dave: I'm Dave Panpa! Nice to meet you Rupert!

*This takes place after Henry helps Ellie*

Ellie: ... Thanks for helping me.

Henry: Hey there's no way I'm leaving you there to scum after you help me! It would be very selfish of my part.

Ellie: Yeah, it would be.

Henry: Also didn't get your name.

Ellie: I'm Ellie Rose, and you?

Henry: I'm Henry Stickmin Suave Randman, but you can call me Henry Stickmin for short.

Ellie: Suave Randman?? Your the son of the infamous Ex Toppat Leader Terrence Suave??

Henry: Well... Yeah, but my parents are no longer criminals, specially my dad Terrence, he's been living full of regret of his past leadership decisions.

Ellie: Yeah, that must be really bad for him.

Henry: And it was, but now he's a change man, and he doesn't want me to go through that same path.

Ellie: I get that.

Henry: Anyway, let's escape this complex together! I'm sure we'll be a great team!

Ellie: Heh, yes we will, now let's get going!

Charles: Hey there! Are you the new recruit Victoria Grit?

Victoria: Umn... Yeah, who are you?

Charles: I'm Charles Calvin! The general's son.

Victoria: T-the general's son?? W-well It's very nice to meet you!

Charles: Relax you don't need to be very formal, it's not that big deal, now follow me to the camp!

Victoria: U-uh... Alright... (💭 He's way more hotter than I thought!!)

Note: When Victoria was recently recruited she was very insecure about meeting others, but with the pass of time she open herself.

Burt: Hey you!

Sven: Me?

Burt: Yeah, mind if I ask where the chief's office is?

Sven: at the end of that hallway. *Points at the hallway*

Burt: Thanks uhh...

Sven: Sven Svensson newbie.

Burt: Thanks Sven... Also my name's Burt Curtis in case you didn't know.

Sven: Yeah I know, the boss told me about you when you were barely here.

Burt: O-oh... Sorry...

(Fun Fact: Burt was not always emotionless and anxious, he was once a very cheerful boy until he had an accident).

Terrence had loved Reginald.

God, he’d loved him with everything he had. The glint of his eyes, the warmth of his smile, the way he held himself. Everything about the man had enamored Terrence from damn near day one, when they were both scruffy teenagers, recruits fighting to rise on the totem pole. Reginald had shone as bright as the sun, and Terrence had been so eager to slip into his orbit.

Reginald had always been so much better at everything, really. Terrence would put his all into everything, throw himself with passion into every project that came his way, but Reginald would always come along and do it so much better, taking all the praise with barely a glance his way. No matter how hard Terrence tried, Wilford would look over him. Wilford would see only Reginald's blinding light. He always told himself that Reginald was simply better. It took everything in him for Terrence to achieve something that just came so naturally to Copperbottom. 

Terrence was left in Reginald’s shadow. Everything they did together, every plan they schemed, every raid they pulled off, was always credited to Reginald. Terrence was nothing more than a tool for Reginald to use for glory. And oh, he knew Copperbottom never really meant it maliciously- he was just as kind to Suave as he had been all those years ago- but it still hurt. The praise Terrence craved was never given. The light he so needed was kept from him. Reginald was his sun, and now he was the moon, bearing his shadow with no light of his own. 

Terrence shone only with the light Reginald gave him. 

And he was tired of it. So, so tired of being left behind. Tired of being lost in Reginald's shadow.

He knew the path they were walking, rising in the ranks to stand at Wilford’s side. He had followed Reginald blindly without a single thought to where he might lead. He’d walked for years through the dark, trailing after the light Reginald gave.

Then Wilford was gone, and one of them had to become leader. 

This was Terrence’s time. His chance to finally have a light of his own, to be his own person. He swallowed his doubt and stood, calling to be made leader. He wanted to feel the fire Reginald had kept from him. Finally, after so many dark, desperate years, he could shine. Finally, he was out of Reginald's shadow, glowing with a light of his own.

It only took a year for him to be overthrown. 

He thought it’d take less.

We could have been anyone else, his heart cried as he backed away from the raging mob Reginald had rallied, we could have been anywhere else. His sun’s warmth had turned to scorching rage. He was once more consumed by Copperbottom’s shadow, drowning in darkness. He was once more left without a light of his own.

“I loved you like the sun! I bore the shadows you made for so long, with no light of my own!” He had screamed, even as the wind tore at his clothes, even as Reginald’s hands settled Terrence’s hat over his own. “Ten years of dust and neglect! I shone only with the light you gave me!” 

And yet, he was left to fall.

Took a break from my project for a early New Years, since I'll be busy on the real new years

I picked Danny because @capturecharlesau's comic really made me realize things about my life I should have of known beforehand. I just can't thank them enough for it

I picked Amelia because @androidcharles is such a nice person, and I just feel more confident about my story because of them. Plus they did quite a bit for the fandom this year, like the Stickmintober prompt and Ellie Rose Week

I picked Cameron and Brutus because @rarestdoge and @smoresthehalloweenqueen are so just fun to be around, and just help me be confident in general

Since I'm SUPER bored and I don't exactly have a group chat to dump this on (and because I haven't had any really GOOD ideas for art recently...), I've decided to create a small prompt post for people to chat on and clog up my notifications (affectionate, btw). So I dub this prompt post:

THSC OC BEACH EPISODE!

Alignments don't matter in this scenario, we're going all in. The prompt starts at a beach party that starts about an hour before sunset and ends... pretty late. What does your OC do there? Do they eat all the food? Do they attempt to build sand castles in the dark? Do they tell ghost stories around the bonfire? Are they behind the grill or out on the water trying to find some ocean monsters or w/e?

Tomorrow I'll rb this again w/ my takes (maybe once I get off of work), but I wanted to post this as a fun little thing (and because, once again, I don't have a group chat to really dump this in...). And maybe if I get inspired, I'll doodle out a few scenarios that I like the most.
