His catchphrase is "feeling sassy?" Hes (allegedly) worked with every war criminal throughout history and been every serial killer. even the gay ones. He ate a baby. His animal motif is a rabbit. Hes kind of based off the donnie darko rabbit. He almost exclusively wears merchandise of the quentin tarantino movie death proof. His creator drew his "true form" as a wolf anthro. Theres a (semi)canon blog entry where he makes the speakers blare rob zombie before he enters a room, then holds a guy at gunpoint to describe what he did to to him while "making sure to leave in all the cool parts". He has radioactive blood. He tried for like five whole minutes to pick up a bottle of ketchup with a grabby hand. Hes kind of suicidal.He can be reasonably compared to pretty much every major tumblr sexyman. His actor has gone on record saying heath ledgers joker inspired his acting choices. Sometimes his voice gets distorted and it makes him sound like bill ciphers first year on HRT. Hes basically like my artistic muse. For some fucking reason i associate the song cake by the ocean with him. I firmly believe that if everymanhybrid didn't require a masters degree in creepypasta autism to comprehend, he would've caused more teenage stabbings than the slenderman incident and more kin war tumblr scenarios than nagito komaeda.

something that always catches me off guard when i read post canon varigo fics is how little they’ll mention nuru and yong if at all. Like i don’t even expect them to be present in the story but i think people just don’t realize how much hugo and varian would actually talk about them

When you’re traveling with teenagers even just a few years younger than you for as long as they were those are just your kids now. Like by default. Nuru and yong come up in casual conversation between varigo genuinely every day. i think sometimes they’re the only thing they talk about.

its crazy how the entire plot of transformers one could've been derailed completely if orion and d16 had just. any moment at all to chill out. bc d is shown to be conflict avoidant and generally level-headed, and it's not usually in his instinct to, yknow, start killing people??? he could've turned back to peace on the basis of his trust in orion alone— if they were just able to pick each other's brains about the whole situation and have a normal, non-rushed chat!! but noooo, they discover a political conspiracy then a revolutionary base and almost die many times... the breakneck speed of the pacing almost feels like the writers built up megop's relationship so well that it occurred to them that their cool story idea would start unravelling the moment orion and d had any time to hang out whatsoever, so boom! get kidnapped, sucker!

people often talk about how the trailblazer might struggle to be perceived as human, so instead i give you: dan heng being oblivious to minor aspects of humanity. not so much that it blows his cover, but just enough to unsettle people. this guy is a huge reader, so of course he’ll have a lot of textbook knowledge- it’s always the unspoken, little things that get him.

like, maybe one day, someone he’s friends with admits they can’t swim, and dan heng just. Does Not Understand. he always assumed that swimming was an innate ability for humans, as is the case with the vidyadhara, given that they hatch underwater. he has no reason to believe otherwise until he’s witnessing someone nearly drown within a couple of seconds (as in, the time it takes for the person to start struggling), and that literally keeps him up at night bc Wdym you don’t know how to swim. Why can’t you hold your breath for very long. it eludes him

similarly, i think dan heng would be really surprised to hear that some people fear the ocean. lingsha once said that there’s nothing more nostalgic for the vidyadhara than their homeland ignoring the fact that dan heng never got to experience it for himself, so the fact that anyone could regard it with terror comes as something of a culture shock to him .

i have many thoughts but i always forget about them so perhaps i will post here more often. if i ever figure out how this works
