A rare original post from me. I have been reading the works of Jung and his pupils for the past couple of months, and much of it has resonated with me. Since my early years, I have looked at my surroundings through an allegorical and oftentimes mystical lens, and now it's all starting to come together. But that isn't why I'm sharing this. As I was reading it, I recognized the passages I highlighted as the inspiration for the lyrics to Tribulation's song, "Cries from the Underworld".

Tovitt Tholl Screenshot Dump 1- Summer

The first batch is a number of summery pics at the beach! Tovitt's mom was Limsan before a portal spirited her away to the First; and now that Tovitt's on the Source, she's taking to Limsa and the beach swimmingly!

22 year old Giott is known as Tholl's strongest warrior. After her journey to stop Sophrosyne, she examined the cruelty of dwarven tradition. Generally, she can be found drinking copious amounts of alcohol and threatening fools with fisticuffs.

Writing Prompt: Butte Word Count: 271 (Dwarf AU) ---> masterlist

The return of the night was an event worth celebrating for many, many nights to come.

Long had the dwarves and all of Norvrandt toiled beneath endless light. The weather never changed. Not even the clouds could blot out the blight that reigned above. As if the heavens rained down ceaseless blinding rays and sineaters that would one day snuff them out for good.

Until a warrior of darkness changed all of that.

Now? Now the skies bore different emotions and arrays of expressing themselves. Though there were clear days, there were also those with clouds, of wind and storm, of bountiful rain. Changing colors from pinks and reds to dark blues and purples… most special of all the stars that dotted the skies at night. Where one could see the appearance of a moon even!

Pipitt remembered the first night he climbed up upon tallest buttes and cliff sides that gave him the best of views. Of the world changing… the world moving. Something he and many others thought they would never see in their lifetime. A sight that bade give one hope.

“There’s a whole world out there.” The young dwarf spoke to themselves, eyes wide in wonder beneath their helm.

No longer did he wish to remain tied to home and tradition. Where they constantly feuded over land and resources between the Tholl and Goggs. Rarely ever to leave their underground homes. Not when a brand new age and era were right before them. The stars ever calling him for adventure.

The future called to him. And Pipitt would answer the call with fellow dwarven brethren in tow.

NICHOLAS NEEDS YOUR HELP!!

We are a 501c3 rodent rescue in Minnesota

Nicholas was seen today due to lack of appetite and labored breathing. One of our vets, Dr Tholl, felt something concerning and took him back for x-rays. He discovered an enlarged heart and a possibly enlarged liver. His opinion as a guinea pig vet of over 20 years is that Nicholas is suffering from heart disease and possible liver issues as well. He is sending the x-rays for a second opinion by a radiologist but it is very likely we will need to manage Nicholas’ condition for the rest of his life.

He has an AMAZING foster mom who isn’t giving up on him, and we won’t either. But testing and treatment will not be cheap. Already his visit today was $482.61 which is a LOT from our rescue savings. We are looking to cover not only the cost of today’s visit but also some extra towards bloodwork, medication, and anything else he needs to be kept comfortable and healthy.

Unfortunately heart disease is not curable and we don’t know the cause yet. Remember, Nicholas and his buddy (possibly his brother) were left on a woman’s doorstep. His buddy had eye issues, took a very sudden turn for the worst, and passed on the way to the emergency vet the night before we were due to pick them up. It’s possible that he experienced a cardiac episode and that Nicholas, if related, has a similar genetic heart problem. It could be something else entirely. We don’t know yet but we intend to find out and do what we can to keep him happy and healthy as long as we can.

PLEASE HELP US TREAT NICHOLAS!!! He is so loved and cared about by everyone at the rescue, especially his foster mom and her son. Can we work a Christmas miracle and get his treatment covered??? We are a 501c3 rodent rescue and donations are tax deductible!!

wol luka universe's tock is a Tholl dwarf named Tokitt who really likes making instruments and things with her skills as a craftsman, and even writes her own music, but doesnt show anybody else (besides luka later on) any of it, She's competent overall, but she especially loves carpentry and blacksmithing, and even goes out and cuts her own logs and mines her own ore for her projects.

When the crystal exarch brings luka to kholusia i think tokitt becomes instantly interested in luka and ''follows him around'' (like stalking) to see what hes up to, but when luka notices and tries to get near her she runs off.

I think they eventually meet through the crystal exarch (he remembers tokitt well because she slammed a hammer on his foot once because she wasnt paying attention while mining and thought it was an ore vein), and tokitt immediately becomes obsessed with all things Luka is doing. She specifically asks for stories for him to tell her so she can make them into songs, because she hasnt been inspired in forever since she cant leave Kholusia and theres NOTHING to sing around in Tomra, so luka promises to bring her back stories for her to sing about.

Only other notable things about tokitt is that she is quite smaller than other dwarves in terms of height and she has a lil crush on ronitt but NOBODY tell him

the nier raids were a lighthunter event for me bc i thought abt tart secretly doing every tholl sidequest to gain their trust and reeq helping her bc she couldnt keep a secret and they got roped into this weird ass apocalypse prevention effort but more importantly they got roped into the lives of these dwarf siblings and despite their annoying condescension all of our lives became intertwined for a moment until these kids' lives were shattered and we could only watch it happen and we could save the world but not the people who matter most to us yes it is the role quest emotion again you cannot escape there is no escape from failing to be a hero you will always fail and live with it and try your best to fix the world in its wake and hope thats enough. so i liked the nier raids story
