The whole gang graduated high school, and one of them got an invite to Wayne gala (idk which yet) and they decide to make a whole trip out of it. So they all decide to sight see in the second most fucked up city, attempts to get her hands on fear toxin, Tucker tries to track down Oracle, Danny ends up accedentily fight crime,

Danny: *finishing up with some random mugging, and see’s Jason* yo why tf you dead

Jason, taken aback by the comment: *shoots him in the kneecap, and it goes right through Danny*

Danny: I'm going to take this as my que to leave *yeets outta there*

and Wes?He takes this as a fucking challenge, he tries to figure out who the batfamily is, so he purposely gets himself kidnapped so he can get a better look, and he immediately figures everything out, (they're bad at hiding it, and Wes is batshit insane, we love him for that). He meets Bernard around then, probably fresh out of kiddnapping (see previous post) Then they head to Wes’s uncle's house, and everyone

sees the E. Nygma on the mailbox and then Wes then casually reveals The Riddler is his uncle, and he's married to the penguin and everyones like “wow that explains a lot” then they end up playing some stupid game like clue or something, until it turns out the Quinnzels were coming for dinner. That includes, Harley Quinn Poison Ivy, Bud & Lou, and Tempest (long story as to why they're there, can elaborate if anyone's interested) Wes then proceeds to tell everyone he figured out all the bat identities (previously telling his friends, Danny first because he's in love), and the Riddler and the penguin start feeling awkward because now they're the only ones who don't know who batman is.

Then it's the next day, Tucker and Sam check out the sketchiest places because, it's fun, and surprises everyone (maybe including some of the batfamily) with how prepared they are to deal with this shit.

Danny and Wes go on a date because they're adorable. They end up getting lunch, then going out and stalking two-face, because Danny hates evil, and Wes doesn't trust politician. They easily stop him from robbing a bank or whatever, and th n the batfamily shows up and Wes is like “nope! Not being interrogated again!” Picks up Danny bridal style and runs away

Then comes the gala, first off

Chaos breaks, shenanigans ensue, by the end the ghost gang ends up in the bat cave and they clear everything up, and maybe start an alliance, also Danny is like “dude the ectoplasm that resurrected you is not completely out of you're system in a healthy way yet! You gotta do something” and throws supplements at Jason.

DP x DC Prompt

Jason and Danny are twins. Danny is the younger twin. (Fraternal twins, not identical) Jason looks more like Bruce and Thomas while Danny looks more like Martha. 

Sheila had a one night stand with Bruce Wayne that resulted in twins, but she thought the kids were from one of her other one night stands and just chose Willis as the sucker who would take responsibility for them. 

She did find a couple who wanted a kid and were willing to pay good money for one. So she planned to sell her kid as soon as he or she was born. Then she realized she had twins, one more than she bargained for. So she took one of the babies and left the other one behind. She abandoned them as soon as they were born, just walked straight out the hospital to the meeting place with the couple. A simple transaction. 

There was a Code Pink for a missing baby, one of the twins was taken from the baby room. Footage shows Sheila taking one of her babies from the NICU and walking out the hospital with him. Willis was left with Jason and took him home to his then girlfriend Catherine who loved the baby instantly. She raised and cared for Jason as if he were her own. 

Danny meanwhile grew up with the Fentons, who also loved him as though he was their own. Danny always knew he was adopted. I imagined everything in canon happened up until the Ultimate Enemy where instead his family dies in that explosion and Danny leaves Amity Park in an effort to avoid becoming evil in the future. He goes home and packs the essentials, grabs his birth certificate, important paperwork, clothes, food, water, medical supplies, and family albums. He looks around at his home one last time before setting the lab to self destruct. He never understood why his parents installed such a function but he was grateful for it now. He wanted there to be no chance of that future repeating itself and in order for that to happen everyone has to believe that he died as well. Sam and Tucker can’t know… he can’t drag them into this. Danny goes ghost and invisibly flies to the nearest station out of Amity as Fenton Works explodes in the distance. 

Jason is still Robin at this point and hasn’t died. In this AU Bruce definitely noticed that Jason looked like him and wanted to take a blood test to make sure, leading to them both finding out that Jason is his biological child. This definitely changes things. Also, I like good parent Bruce so he is trying, but he sucks at communication, especially when it comes to feelings. I’m also changing the timeline to fit my story, so Jason is fourteen when he has a fight with Bruce that leads to him finding out that Sheila is his biological mom, but he also finds out that he has a twin brother, according to his birth certificate in Willis’s old stuff. He also leaves his birth certificate and a letter behind for Bruce before going off to Ethiopia to find his birth mother and hopefully his twin brother too. He has questions for them. Like, why did she only take one kid and abandoned him with Willis? Etc.

DPXDC Prompt #142 Part 2

His parents had spent years working on their portal, to the point where they were neglecting their own children. Danny didn’t know any better, neither did Jazz. To them it was just how their family ran and for the most part it worked for them. It allowed Danny to really study space and the Stars. His room was covered with different ship models on the shelves, glow in the dark stars on the ceiling and posters on the walls.

Jazz had similarly explored her own thoughts and topics as she studied Psychology. Her room was more feminine but still had a certain scientific decorum to it.  

He never thought that he’d suddenly be ripped from all the things he loved. But here he was with the trench coat man, instead of taking some biology class or something.

“What happened with the portal?” Danny asked.

The man took a long sigh, “listen… quite a lot of shit went down after your accident.” 

“That tells me nothing,” Danny glared at the man.

“I get your upset kid, but let me at least know your name. Mine's John Constantine,” 

“…Danny,” Danny muttered after a moment. He wasn’t sure he trusted the man but he guessed he had no choice. He was also noticing he felt a bit off, it was the weirdest gut feeling and Danny was having trouble telling exactly what the feeling was. It was like the feeling was telling him to trust John, although at the same time John had this weird feeling about him that had Danny feeling weary. He decided to trust John just a little, hopefully it got him back home, after a moment Danny spoke again, “…Can you at least tell me if the portal worked?”

The room was silent for a moment and then John spoke “Alright, fine, I’ll tell you what happened but some background first, do you know who the ancients are?” 

The name didn’t sound familiar, “Ancients? Like Ancient Aliens or something?” 

“No, no…” John took a swig from a flask in his pocket and then started fiddled with an unlit cigarette he pulled from a different pocket. He then looked Danny up and down, “You don’t know the first thing about the infinite realms do you?”

“The what?” None of this was making any sense and the more Danny talked to this guy the more he was getting a feeling of dread in the pit of his stomach. Something about this conversation felt wrong, like Danny should know all of this already but he just didn’t. 

“Right well… I guess the easiest way to explain this is the portal your parents made was to the infinite realms.” John said, putting the cigarette in his mouth.

“My parents called it the Ghost Zone.” Danny muttered.

John seemed to chuckle at that, “I mean it is mainly inhabited by ghosts, however they aren’t the only ones, far from it in fact. I’m sorry but… I couldn’t allow your parents unlimited access to the realms. I had to disable it and prevent it from being reactivated.”

Danny felt a little disheartened after hearing that, he guessed John was probably right though. He remembered hearing his parents talk about how they’d dissect every ghost they found to study them. The bully’s at his school often bullied Danny over it especially after his dad and mom would continually embarrass him on parent teacher nights and on field trips.

Danny let out a small sigh, “so when can I go home?”

John looked a little surprised, his eyebrow quirked up, “so you're unaware of your situation right now?”

“Situation?” Danny trailed off, he remembered getting shocked and then he remembered waking up here, “where are we?”

John let out another sigh, “shit, well from my research you're supposed to know everything about your powers when you wake up.”

This made no sense to Danny, powers? Danny didn’t have powers, he didn't have the meta-gene.

“Powers? I don’t have the meta-gene. I think you have the wrong person.” Danny stated as he folded his arms in front of himself.

“Then how are you floating?” John asked with a smirk.

Danny looked down and he indeed was floating just an inch off the bed, he wondered when that started but the feeling threw him off a little as he stumbled a little trying to keep himself upright. It didn’t work and he fell back down on the bed with a little thud. He turned to see John watching him with a small hint of amusement in his eyes. 

“What am I?” Danny asked, his voice small and a little panicked.

“You, Danny Fenton, are an Ancient. I know the term makes it seem like you're old but the term is more because your people are ancient in age.” The explanation made no sense to Danny but he could somehow float now. He thought the term ‘Ancient’ was a little much for some floating powers.

You know all of this fics where Danny is an alternate universe version of like Bruce or Jason? What if it was with Damian

There could be some kind of ritual that sends Damian into Danny’s universe only they both get caught by the GIW and Everything Goes Wrong

By that I mean both of them get vivisected. And the Fentons should do at least some of it, and that Jack looks just like Bruce for extra ✨trauma✨

They both go on the Road Trip of Hell while escaping and Danny’s just working on building a temporary portal to the Ghost Zone/Damian’s home dimension.

I want Danny to lean out of a car with like a mcguivered bazooka or something to try and drive off the GIW for a while with some kind of crazy/stressed smile back at Damian.

I want little moments where they’re bonding/teaching each other how to fight (Because Damian knows formal fighting, and if we go with Danny knowing some self defense from his mom he’s not completely horrible at it, but Danny knows how to fight like a feral raccoon. It’s effective and Damian DOES like animals right?)

I want them to finally get to Damian’s dimension and when they finally finally gets to the bats and Bruce reaches out to help his son Damian flinches

And then I want it to get into the fluff/healing/trauma dumping part where the newly dubbed twins (who get along scarily well and everyone is pretty sure are trauma bonded) are healing while simultaneously causing the other bats to become more and more distressed (it may or may not be on purpose)

It would also be pretty cool if their habits and mannerisms rubbed off on one another, so they can be uncannily similar one moment then completely different the next

I also had the idea of them being literally the same soul- like, the soul that originally formed was completely identical when they were babies but diverged due to different experiences, so it’s literally a ‘same soul two bodies’ thing. I just think it would be neat, even if it’s not even really mentioned, but just like, Implied you know?

When Merlin asks Gwen for a sword she gives him the best one she ever made, not her father, so she and Merlin together forged Excalibur

Gwen is knighted alongside the others in the Round table

Merlin is officially recognized as the Court physician’s Apprentice rather than becoming Arthur’s servant (Why do you call him an idiot? By Yvion on Ao3 proves this)

In the scenario that Merthur happens, and Merlin’s the ‘queen’ and/or court Sorcerer, Gwen should be the next Court Physician

Or she’s with Lancelot and she becomes the next court physician, I just think she’d be good at it and it would give her a reason to have a seat of the council in the case that she’s not queen

Lancelot doesn’t fucking die

Arthur learns of Merlin’s magic during the Sigan fight and comes to terms with it on his own

We get several episodes completely from Arthur’s point of view that show Merlin looking absolutely unhinged with absolutely no context followed by the episode from Merlin’s point of view where everything he does looks completely reasonable

something about the majority of Sebastian’s possible interactions being negative when he’s the only interactive entity in the game. something about player engagement and the desire for exploration and how this is fulfilled via interaction. something about player interactions prompting negative reactions from Sebastian but reactions are still reactions and so the player is essentially rewarded for harassing him. something about how any attempt to discover more of what his character has to offer basically ruins any rapport you could’ve been building with him. something about how the only way to keep in whatever good graces he still has is to go against player instinct and and leave him the fuck alone and deliberately not attempt to engage beyond the ground rules he lays out.

“River! River! Look at me!”

He did, and God help her that was worse for Louisa. His eyes, glassy and unfocused, bulged in an unspoken question. His chest looked odd, one side concave in an unnatural way as it heaved in an uneven agony and River struggled to breathe. 

“Oh Fuck.”

Louisa turned desperately to Shirley, who was pale and wide-eyed but was thankfully already calling 999. 

“Can’t–breathe–” River gasped, grabbing onto her wrist with a bruise-inducing grip. 

“It’s going to be okay, We're going to get you help,” Louisa said, her voice somehow absent of the terror rampaging through her as her free hand hovered over River’s chest, unsure what to do, where to touch without causing him further pain. 

She hadn’t seen him fall, only heard as he tumbled down the metal staircase outside Slough House. The thing was a death trap, abnormally slick whenever it rained and more than once Louisa had an oh shit moment when her boot momentarily caught on one of the grates. It was only a matter of time before someone fell to their death on it. 

But, of course, it had been River who had been the unlucky bastard to stumble down the stairs. River, who never met a mirror that he couldn’t break, a ladder he wouldn’t walk under, a black cat he wouldn’t pet. Now, as he lay crumpled and bleeding with his chest caved in on one side and his leg in angles legs weren’t supposed to bend, all she could do was hold his hand and wait. 

All she could do was hold his hand and pray. 

Louisa couldn’t lose him, not now, not after everything, not because he fell down the fucking stairs. 

She squeezed his hand harder. It was clammy under her touch, rubbery, not like River at all. River’s hands were warm, warm and comforting and safe. She touched his face with her other hand and he looked at her again, his pupils blown wide and begging her to help, begging her to take away his pain as his breaths came in uneven gasps and his chest shuddered and sputterd to an unholy rhythm. 

Louisa squeezed his hand harder and didn’t let go, not when the ambulance arrived, not when Shirley tried to pry her away, not when they loaded him into the ambulance and covered his face with an oxygen mask and shoved a needle into his chest to inflate his collapsed lung. Louisa didn’t let go until three orderlies at the hospital held her back as she screamed and wailed and tried to follow into the operating room. 

Her hand felt cold without his and Louisa felt all hope slip through her fingers like grains of sand as she collapsed crying onto the floor of the hospital and tried to catch her breath. She was in the same position when Shirley and Catherine found her, her chest heavy, her breathing laboured, her world shattering around her. 

“Can’t–breathe–” she shuddered. 

With surprising strength for her size, Shirley shoved Louisa into a chair and then pushed her head between her knees.

By the time Louisa could breathe again, Lamb had arrived, Roddy and Coe trailing behind him like two sullen teenagers who just got told they couldn’t meet their friends at the mall. Catherine shoved a bottle of water into Louisa’s hand and Shirley left her hand firmly on Louisa’s back, but they were nowhere near closer to finding out anything about River’s condition. 

All Louisa could do was sit and wait and try to remember how to breathe.

Yesterday was my birthday, and last night I had a dream where I was a soldier competing against other soldiers for a spot on Taskforce 141, and after I was decided as the winner Soap, Gaz, and Ghost took me out for drinks to congratulate me and get to know me more, and out of nowhere Ghost just casually dropped in a "Oh, by the way, happy birthday"

When the rest of us just stared at him because "how did he know that?" he shrugged it off and said he read it in my file when he was going over potential new recruits with Price, but then Soap asked if he'd memorized any of the other recruits' birthdays, and Ghost told him to shut up :)
