I've been spending a lot more time with worldbuilding as of recent as opposed to characters in specific so in terms of written-down stuff i dont have much, which is what my toyhouse is for! it's only greyscale, saturate and my sona (whos unrelated) on there atm but i dooo plan on publicizing character pages in bulks when i have them ready. that said, i'll be using this ask as a dumping ground for the current information swimming in my brain soup tyvm

Also the actual story itself isn't fully written so i cant offer much on that end, so srry. I'll answer what i'm able to

Lost Connection is set in a world where government bodies have created a dome situated far out in the ocean with the purpose of creating a re-enactment of human society using machine bodies and AI. They first started as basic but large machines with barebones programming, enough to get them moving. They were supplied with material and tech used to create more machines that gradually got better as the years went on.

Fast forward to today, with slight assistance from human moderation without their knowledge they had created a similar society to humans that caters to the robots (mechanic facilities, clinics specifically for accessorizing because god knows the trouble a machine would go through having to get an ear piercing without damaging wiring, that sort of thing).

The surface of the dome is split up into separate parts in the same sort of sense the world is split up into countries, since the robots don't know anything outside the dome and as such perceive it as just, the world. There is also the underground of the dome which was initially intended as a prison system but overtime became more of a dog-eat-dog world packed with criminals. Machines beneath the ground are much more physically imposing and are prone to violent behavior.

LC has 3 main characters. Greyscale, Saturate and Inforn.

Greyscale is a 11'8ft disproportionate white cat who has earned notoriety through media coverage, some being truthful while others being made up and muddying the waters. Despite the stigma however they would never go out to actively hunt down someone without a good enough reason as to not put herself at risk. It prioritizes self preservation and is often reserved.

Contrasting him is his daughter, Saturate. A 1'9ft Frankenstein of a robot who was illegally built out of parts found in a junkyard, including her CPU, which wasn't wiped of any previous data and effectively made her start off life with the programming of a 10 year old kid and miss out on almost an entire childhood, only being updated a few times before being left at 13. Due to the unorthodox way she was built she has been mistaken for a rodent more than she has been identified as being a bear. She is constantly anxious to some degree and actively makes an effort to keep people far away by being hostile.

The two of them live in an old hotel where they mostly have to hide in. Unfortunately due to trespassers or journalists they find themselves threatened with being discovered quite a lot. To combat this, Greyscale is incredibly territorial and would go out of their way to make sure the person who set foot in the hotel wouldn't leave. Most of the time, the body of the trespasser is later on utilized as a source of components, skin and motor oil. Greyscale has no qualms harvesting these whether or not the person is dead or alive, and the parts tend to go towards repairing Saturate, the weaker of the two. As a result, she has experienced dying on a couple of occasions, only to be unethically brought back from the dead.

And opposing these two is Inforn. A 6'5ft black cat who works in a news network as a reporter and anchor. He is responsible for most of the misinformation on Greyscale, yet could never bring himself to go near her. By indirectly putting the two in a dangerous living situation they have developed an immense hatred for him overtime. Stakes would most likely raise if he somehow found where they were hiding.

COLLEGE TOTALLY SPIES -- i was really obsessed with this picture right here and i thought that the picture would be a good premise for a little four person group based on totally spies. i was thinking that these three college students/young adults some friends maybe not some enemies or just on completely different ends of the social agenda get bonded together when they accidentally end up roped in a top secret spy organization that is fronted by a record store. the details and flesh of the plot i think would be cute to figure out all together maybe in a google doc or a big discord so we can make the rp to perfect world building specifications. right now i have two spots open!

oh man……….. a bunch of unnamed ocs that i only know vague facts and plot positions abt (a majority of a/s, sadly, but it’s just not time yet) for the main verse there is definitely damia who i make sporadic posts abt 

the neglected guy trio from lhnh: irias, hue & sinan who i’ve NEVER really posted abt but he’s hue’s boyfriend(?) however they decide to define what they have idk but hue definitely put a ring on him so yknow. very tall magician who plays a vital part in ending the war in lhnh, white hair for no reason, his eye color resembles Someone’s a lot which freaks sky out HEAVILY… (knife emoji) im always circling to bad content when i ramble, yikes

also there is fauve !!! she’s eliada’s assistant (idk if you know anything abt her besides what was in the screenplay??) she got stuck w an anti-aging curse at the prime age of 12 which gets funnier the more centuries pass. fun fact: both reina and gray are equally freaked out by her whenever they see her at eliada’s place

   Been thinkin’ ‘bout my self-ship woes, so I guess it’s time to come clean and confess.... Relating to the post I made earlier in the morning, where I had mentioned talking abt F/Os I do like, but haven’t listed or...generally accepted at all. For one reason or another.

   So here we go!!!

Purple Guy [FNAF]: Starting off with the big guns!! I think the one in particular I’m for is the William PG, but I could be wrong...? The most I can confirm is the abandoned Reb PG, cause that’s the specific type/design I ended up latching onto. I know he’s a shitty person, I know he’s a child murderer... Don’t get me wrong. This is def ones of those “only in fiction” crushes; as someone with younger siblings, a person like PG would make me sick. However, I figure I’d have to deal with that kind of “Fiction = Reality” bullshit even though I know how to watch myself on that, so-!!! Here we are!!!!

Marionette [FNAF]: While I’m on this train, my other top fave, Marion. I’d probably only ship with them as far as my animatronic SI (but have general “self-insert” stuff bc I actually own a big ol’ plush of Marionette, too), but...... There’s so much questionable with Marionette and the entire FNAF series that isn’t the night-watch (like Mike and Jeremy) that.... I just can’t get on board with these two. And it kinda sucks.

Rhys & Handsome Jack [Borderlands]: I want to lump these two together bc my reasons for not shipping with them are essentially the same: I know someone who already self-ships with them and I prefer to dodge out of as much drama as possible. I don’t want to make people unable to hang around me cause I make them uncomfortable, so I’d rather keep my mouth shut. I’ll talk about these two behind closed servers all damn day, but here? On this blog?? Public spaces????? No fucking way.

Deadpool & Loki [Marvel]: I...ship with them, I have it on my “verses” page....but I don’t have them listed. Why? Who knows. Likely a mixture of the above (I know people who already ship with them) and- in the case of DP- I do have a crackship with him and another character that I value more than any self-insert stuff I could do.

Masky/Tim [Marble Hornets]: A mystery. I do already ship my OC/self-insert from a Reader Insert story I was writing with him!! So why won’t I fess up on this blog? A big ol’ mystery I may never solve, honestly.

Oz [Monster Prom]: Curious. Don’t know a lot about him yet. Maybe. IDK. We’ll see or something...

Rose Quartz/Pink Diamond [Steven Universe]: Not even gonna lie that I’m totally one of those people who would do this. Cause I’ve been amazed by Rose’s growth through the series, even if it’s the kind of “growth” that means we see all the flaws in the once “perfect” gem.... But for some reason, can’t bring myself to do it. Not even because of Greg or anything (if anything, I wouldn’t mind forming another poly ship, cause that’d be the sweetest thing), so.... I don’t know. And who knows if I’ll ever get around to doing it. / _ \

Lucio, Bridgette, & Genji [Overwatch]: Another big ol’ mystery. I love these characters a lot! Yet never really talk abt them!!! Which...sucks. But again, heck if I know what I’m doing or if I’ll ever own up to liking them like I do. Sometimes, I just let myself never admit to things and pretend they aren’t really there/that important, slfdjsklas;dlfkj.

Devil & King Dice [Cuphead]: Again, I’ve seen other people ship with them and the fear of bothering people triumphs my own desire to be happy. Also because I literally cannot seem to design my SI the way I want her to be...and I’ve tried to draw the two before. It. Was. A. Nightmare. So I’m in Suffering Town with these two, uugggghhhhhhh.

   And...on one last, final note...... I wanna point out some F/Os I’m super insecure about. Mostly cause I want secondary advice... I don’t want to let them go, but I’ll be honest: some are making me nervous to have them and I hate it and I don’t know what to do about it... So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dororo [SGT Frog]: It’s just one of those things where you like a character....but do you really like them enough?? I just.... I don’t know. I might have to let him go...

Gundam Tanaka, Nagito Komaeda, & Hajime Hinata [SDR2]: This...is predictable, if you know the Danganronpa series.... I’ve never said it out loud (cause I hope I would never have to), but I only ship with these characters as aged up to match me. I used to ship with Komaeda in high school myself, actually, so while I’m often okay with it for a bit.... I keep feeling like I’m being quietly judged for them. @ _ @  These three have- sadly- been a source for a lot of anxiety for me and while I might be okay with letting go of Hinata and Gundam if push comes to shove, I would not be as okay with letting go of Komaeda.... Reblogging him more to my main to avoid the judging feeling hurts and I just...... I don’t know what to do.

Wes [Pokemon Colosseum]: I just...don’t talk about him a lot...and the fandom is super small for the console PKMN, so that...really doesn’t help matters. That and it’s hard work to find any art of him on his own without ship implications between him and his partner, so..... A c k. I’m cursed, with this one.
