For the ask meme!!! 💖? and 👗? Pick your favorite to answer or both :)
Went with both of them, Anon, thanks for asking! ^^
Putting the answers under a read more since the images I used in the second question made the post look longer than I planned it to be.
💖 - favorite relationship outside of the Gang?
So when I first read this question I interpreted it as "favorite relationship between a member of the Gang and a non member", but looking at it again I think it's actually supposed to be "favorite relationship between two non-Gang members", so that's what I'll answer. (In case you all were curious though, the relationships I was originally going to talk about were Daphne + Alex Super ["Mamba Wamba and the Voodoo Hoodoo"], Velma + Debbie ["The Weird Winds of Winona"], Shaggy + Tinker [Laff-a-Lympics], and Scrappy with the Gang more generally.)
I'm a big fan of Scrappy with Yabba Doo (and Deputy Dusty) from the Yabba Doo shorts. It's a similar dynamic to the one he has with Scooby and Shaggy, with Scrappy admiring his uncle and the human character trying to keep him out of trouble, but it gets switched up by having Yabba also being a very brave, go-getter sort of character. I thought it was a neat dynamic for Scrappy to bounce off of, someone who is just as direct + impulsive as him but still has life experience that can be used to nurture and guide him. It allows for Scrappy to have a different adult influence and environment in his life while still having the jokes that come with a comedic character trying to control him/deal with the consequences of his actions.
It's my personal preference that if Scrappy doesn't end up staying with Scooby and Shaggy, that he gets to be with Yabba and Dusty and grow up to be a cowboy. It fits his personality well and Yabba and Dusty clearly liked having him around too (even if Dusty got exasperated sometimes).
👗- favorite outfit(s) worn by the Gang?
For this question I'm limiting myself to just on outfits I have screenshots for on this blog, since if I considered everything the characters have ever worn we'd be here all day.
For Fred, I'm going to go with a comic outfit instead of a show one, the swimsuit he wore in the comic "Mystery in Malibu". (Technically I didn't screenshot this particular outfit but I've posted panels from this comic so I'll count it.) I just think it's interesting that they chose to give him swim briefs instead of swim trunks.
For Velma, I'm going with the pajamas she wore in "The Ghost of Bigfoot". I think the detail of her wearing something in her hair - I think they're hair rollers specifically - was a neat choice for the creators to make. The little hint of pink is nice, too, switching up her colors slightly.
Staying with "The Ghost of Bigfoot", I've mentioned a couple times before that I'm a big fan of Daphne's pajamas in this episode too. I just think the nightgown is super cute. I like the frills at the top and I think using the light pink was a good color choice; it brings emphasis to a color that's part of her outfit but isn't her main one, and I think a softer color like that works well with this style of nightgown. (I personally refer to as a "baby doll" nightgown, idk what the offical name is). The matching slippers were a good choice too, very in-character.
I also have a couple honorable mentions for Daphne outfits, as she is a fashionable gal. First is the winter outfit she wore in "The Ghost of Bigfoot" (I've heard some people don't like it but personally I appreciate her cute hat and dedication to matching clothes) and the second is her swimwear from the aforementioned "Mystery in Malibu" comic, since it's that light pink color I think looks good on her and also she wears a nifty jacket with it.
For Shaggy and Scooby, I'm fond of their knight + squire outfit from the Laff-a-Lympics episode "Egypt and Sherwood Forest". I like the detail of Shaggy's shirt sticking out of his armor, both because it's part of his whole "loose clothes" look and because it kinda makes it look like he's wearing a skirt. Scooby's squire outfit is just cute to me, with the frilly collar and the way his ears stick out of his hat. (There was also a joke someone posted on one of my screenshots that the "S" on their outfits looked like it was there for their initials, which just makes me like them more.)
An honorable mention outfit for Shaggy is the winter outfit he wears during the dog sled race in "Canada and Warsaw, Poland”. I like how they switch up his colors a bit by going with red + yellow, and how he got the full winter getup with a fun hat and cozy boots and stuff.

What to Do If Your Acoustic Board Loses Its Effectiveness Over Time
Acoustic boards are vital for controlling noise and enhancing sound quality in various settings, from offices to home theaters. However, over time, you might notice a decline in their performance. Reduced sound absorption, persistent echoes, or unwanted noise leaks can signal that your acoustic boards are no longer as effective as they once were.
In this blog, we’ll explore the possible causes of reduced performance in acoustic boards and provide actionable solutions to restore their effectiveness.
Why Acoustic Boards Lose Effectiveness Over Time
1. Material Degradation
Prolonged exposure to humidity, heat, or direct sunlight can degrade materials like fiberglass, foam, or wood.
PET acoustic boards are more resistant but may still lose some density over time.
2. Physical Damage
Tears, dents, or scratches can affect the board's structure and reduce its sound-absorbing capabilities.
Improper handling or accidental impacts can compromise the board’s integrity.
3. Accumulated Dust and Dirt
Dust buildup on the surface reduces the ability to absorb sound effectively.
Pollutants, stains, or moisture can seep into the material and degrade performance.
4. Improper Installation
Over time, boards may loosen, sag, or shift from their original positions, reducing sound coverage.
5. Changes in Acoustic Needs
Renovations, added furniture, or changes in room usage can alter sound dynamics, making the original setup less effective.
Steps to Restore the Effectiveness of Acoustic Boards
1. Inspect the Boards Regularly
Look for visible signs of wear, such as sagging, discoloration, or tears.
Tap the boards lightly to ensure they are firmly secured to the surface.
2. Clean the Boards
Dust Removal: Use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment to remove accumulated dust.
Stain Cleaning: Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid soaking the material, as excessive moisture can cause further damage.
3. Reinforce Installation
Tighten or replace loose screws or mounting brackets.
Reposition boards to cover high-noise areas more effectively.
Consider adding more boards if sound leakage persists due to inadequate coverage.
4. Repair Minor Damage
Patch Tears: Use acoustic-grade adhesives or fillers for small tears or holes.
Refinish Wooden Boards: Sand and refinish scratched or faded wooden acoustic panels.
5. Replace Deteriorated Boards
If the damage is extensive or the material has degraded significantly, replacing the boards is the best solution.
Opt for durable and low-maintenance materials like PET acoustic panels or fiberglass sound-absorbing boards.
When to Upgrade Your Acoustic Setup
Sometimes, restoring your boards may not be enough. Consider upgrading in the following cases:
Persistent Noise Issues: If noise persists even after repairs and cleaning, it may be time to invest in advanced acoustic solutions.
Aesthetic Refresh: Outdated boards may not align with your space’s modern design. Upgrade to stylish options like fabric-wrapped panels or wooden acoustic boards.
Environmental Concerns: Switch to sustainable and recyclable acoustic boards for a more eco-friendly solution.
Tips to Prevent Future Issues
Choose High-Quality Materials: Durable options like PET acoustic boards resist wear and tear better than foam or lower-quality materials.
Maintain a Clean Environment: Regular cleaning reduces dust buildup, preventing long-term damage.
Control Environmental Factors:
Use dehumidifiers in high-humidity areas to prevent material degradation.
Avoid exposing boards to direct sunlight.
Perform Routine Inspections: Schedule regular inspections to catch issues like loose fittings or minor damage before they escalate.
Conclusion: Prolonging the Life of Your Acoustic Boards
Acoustic boards are a long-term investment in sound quality, but they require proper care to maintain their effectiveness. Regular cleaning, timely repairs, and upgrading when necessary can ensure that your space remains acoustically optimized.
If your boards are beyond repair or no longer meet your needs, consider exploring Tranquil Global’s range of acoustic solutions. From durable PET acoustic panels to aesthetically pleasing wooden designs, we have options tailored to every space and requirement.

Transform Your Space with Modern Texture Paint Designs
In the world of interior design, creating a unique and captivating space is paramount. One of the most effective ways to achieve this is through modern texture paint designs. These designs not only add depth and character to your walls but also offer endless possibilities for customization. In this blog, we’ll explore how you can transform your living spaces with modern texture paint designs.
What Are Modern Texture Paint Designs?
Modern texture paint designs refer to the application of textured paint to create a three-dimensional effect on your walls. Unlike traditional flat paint, textured paint adds a tactile element to your surfaces, making them more dynamic and visually appealing. This technique can be used to mimic various materials such as concrete, stone, or even fabric, providing a sophisticated and contemporary look.
Benefits of Modern Texture Paint Designs
Enhanced Aesthetics: Modern texture paint designs can instantly elevate the look of any room. The added depth and dimension create a striking visual impact that flat paint simply cannot achieve.
Versatility: Whether you prefer a minimalist, industrial, or rustic look, there are modern texture paint designs to suit every style. From subtle textures to bold patterns, the options are limitless.
Conceal Imperfections: Textured paint can effectively hide minor wall imperfections such as cracks and dents, providing a smoother and more uniform finish.
Durability: Textured paint tends to be more durable than flat paint, as it is often thicker and can better withstand wear and tear.
Popular Modern Texture Paint Designs
Concrete Finish: A concrete texture gives your walls an urban, industrial feel. This look is perfect for modern homes seeking a chic and edgy vibe.
Stucco: Stucco textures add a Mediterranean or Spanish flair to your interiors. They are ideal for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Metallic Sheen: Metallic textured paints add a touch of luxury and glamour. They are great for accent walls or spaces that need a bit of sparkle.
Fabric Imitation: Textures that mimic the appearance of fabric can add a soft and cozy feel to your space. Think of a linen or silk-like finish that makes your walls look upholstered.
Geometric Patterns: For a modern and artistic touch, geometric textured patterns can make a bold statement. These designs are perfect for feature walls or creative spaces.
How to Apply Modern Texture Paint Designs
Prepare the Surface: Ensure your walls are clean, dry, and free of any loose material. Repair any major cracks or holes.
Choose the Right Tools: Depending on the desired texture, you may need different tools such as trowels, sponges, brushes, or rollers.
Apply a Base Coat: A base coat of flat paint in a similar color to your textured paint can help achieve a more even finish.
Apply the Textured Paint: Using your chosen tool, apply the textured paint in the desired pattern. This may require multiple layers to achieve the perfect look.
Finish and Seal: Once the textured paint is dry, you can apply a sealant to protect the finish and enhance durability.
Inspiration for Your Next Project
Looking for inspiration? Here are a few ideas to get you started with modern texture paint designs:
Living Room: Create a stunning focal point with a textured accent wall behind your sofa. A concrete finish or geometric pattern can add a contemporary touch.
Bedroom: Add a sense of luxury with a metallic sheen on the wall behind your bed. This can make the space feel more sophisticated and cozy.
Home Office: Use a fabric imitation texture to create a calm and productive environment. A linen-like finish can add warmth and texture to your workspace.
Entryway: Make a great first impression with a textured wall in your entryway. Stucco or stone finishes can create an inviting atmosphere right from the start.
Conclusion
Modern texture paint designs offer an exciting way to personalize your home and make a bold statement. Whether you're looking to add a touch of elegance, create a cozy retreat, or make a striking visual impact, there is a textured paint design to suit your needs. So, why settle for flat and boring walls when you can transform your space with the beauty and sophistication of modern texture paint designs?

Elevate Your Commercial Space: A Comprehensive Guide to Luxury Vinyl Flooring Selection and Installation
Flooring is pivotal in shaping a space's atmosphere, functionality, and overall appeal in the dynamic world of commercial interiors. Luxury vinyl flooring (LVF) has gained widespread popularity among the myriad options available for its style, durability, and versatility. Whether you're renovating an office, retail store, or hospitality venue, choosing the right luxury vinyl flooring can transform your commercial space into a sophisticated and inviting environment. This comprehensive guide delves into the intricacies of selecting and installing luxury vinyl flooring, empowering you to make informed decisions that elevate your commercial space to new heights.
Understanding Luxury Vinyl Flooring Luxury vinyl flooring represents a fusion of innovation and aesthetics, offering a high-end look without the hefty price tag associated with natural materials like hardwood or stone. Its multi-layered construction consists of a wear layer, design layer, core layer, and backing layer, resulting in a product that is visually appealing, resilient, and easy to maintain.
Key Considerations for Selection
Commercial spaces experience constant foot traffic, so durability is prioritized when selecting flooring. Assess the thickness of the wear layer, which determines the flooring's ability to resist scratches, stains, and fading. Opt for a thicker wear layer, especially in high-traffic areas, to ensure long-lasting performance.
Design Versatility:
Luxury vinyl flooring offers extensive design options, from realistic wood grains to sleek stone textures. Consider the overall aesthetic of your commercial space and choose a design that complements your brand identity and enhances the ambiance. Explore different colors, patterns, and plank sizes to achieve the desired look.
Installation Method: The installation method can impact your flooring project's cost, timeline, and performance. Luxury vinyl flooring is available in various formats, including glue-down, click-lock, and loose-lay. Consult with flooring professionals to determine the most suitable installation method based on your specific needs and budget.
Maintenance Requirements:
Commercial spaces demand flooring that is easy to clean and maintain, minimizing disruption to daily operations. Luxury vinyl flooring is inherently low-maintenance, requiring regular sweeping and occasional mopping to keep it looking pristine. Choose products with advanced protective coatings that resist stains and spills, simplifying cleaning tasks and preserving the flooring's appearance.
Environmental Considerations:
Sustainable flooring options are increasingly important in commercial design, driven by a growing awareness of environmental impact. Look for luxury vinyl flooring products certified as environmentally friendly, such as those made from recycled materials or manufactured using eco-conscious processes. Prioritize products with low VOC emissions to promote better indoor air quality.
Best Practices for Installation
Subfloor Preparation: Proper subfloor preparation is essential for a successful luxury vinyl flooring installation. Ensure that the subfloor is clean, level, and free of debris or imperfections that could affect the flooring's integrity. Address any moisture issues to prevent damage to the flooring over time.
Acclimation Period:
Allow the luxury vinyl flooring to acclimate to the environment for 48 hours before installation. This helps the flooring adjust to the space's temperature and humidity levels, reducing the risk of expansion or contraction after installation.
Professional Installation:
While DIY installation may be tempting, hiring a professional flooring installer ensures optimal results and minimizes the risk of errors or complications. Experienced installers have the expertise and tools to handle the intricacies of luxury vinyl flooring installation, providing a seamless and durable finish.
Post-Installation Care:
After installation, follow manufacturer recommendations for post-installation care to maintain the integrity and appearance of the luxury vinyl flooring. Use appropriate cleaning products and methods to keep the flooring free of dirt, debris, and stains, prolonging its lifespan and beauty.
Case Studies and Success Stories
To illustrate the effectiveness of luxury vinyl flooring in commercial settings, consider incorporating case studies or success stories from real-world projects. Highlight instances where luxury vinyl flooring was utilized to enhance commercial spaces' aesthetics, functionality, and durability across various industries. Showcase the versatility and performance of luxury vinyl flooring in transforming ordinary spaces into extraordinary environments that inspire and engage occupants.
Conclusion Selecting and installing luxury vinyl flooring for your commercial space requires careful consideration of various factors, including durability, design versatility, installation method, maintenance, and environmental impact. By understanding these key considerations and following best practices for selection and installation, you can create a commercial environment that is both visually stunning and practical. Luxury vinyl flooring offers the perfect blend of style, resilience, and ease of maintenance, making it an ideal choice for modern commercial interiors. Hi! How are you feeling angel? I hope everything’s going well for you! For the questions: 19, 23
*squishes!!* VERY WELL RESTED, thank you! 😚 <3 I'm going to answer these in reverse order, as the answer for 19 got LONG okay
23. Describe the physical environment in which you write. Be as detailed as possible. Tell me what’s around you as you work. Paint me a picture.
There are many writing modes heheheh! The usual: laptop, either late in the office, while I'm waiting for an experiment to finish, and the lights are turning out around me, or in my room, multicoloured fairy lights on, curled up on the chair by my desk or at the edge of my bed.
gdocs is my go-to now, as it allows me to write on the move - there's also a lot of writing on trains. writing on my phone is sketchier, mostly outlining, unless I'm already working from an outline, and then it's a bit more fleshed out. everything is finished on my laptop, though.
what's been happening lately though, is that I will be falling asleep, and sort of daydreaming, and I'll be working through a scene, and it will be so detailed and specific that I know I will forget it by the time I wake up, so I'll grab my mobile, blearily scroll to gdocs and type it out. spelling errors and grammar up the wazoo. good dialogue though, and the key images, things that stick with me. <3
--
19. Tell me a story about your writing journey. When did you start? Why did you start? Were there bumps along the way? Where are you now and where are you going?
this got long. thank you for asking! ;u;
I love this question! >:3 the journey started small! I started writing online on a pokemon forum when that was still a thing, in little RPs and short stories. I didn't fall in love with it until I started on ff dot net, and fell in love with those stories, which pushed me away from the classic, heavier writing styles preferred in school & on that forum, to something looser and more character driven.
from there, it's just been a lot of experimentation. I've been posting stories online since 2007 (many different usernames), and so it has honestly been like a time caspule for me. there are always bumps on the way, heheh, and really, it's been about figuring out what I like to write, and how I like to write it.
these last two years have definitely been an exception, but I usually only wrote smaller oneshots, posted sporadically. in 2014, finishing up my undergrad, I wrote a lot and did my first (and only) big bang fic. wrote a bit more in 2016, with the release of daredevil (kastle my beloved), and then I started grad school, and I wrote sporadically.
but then the pandemic happened, and I got into a smaller, niche fandom that had less pressure, and I sort of... let loose. Really experimented with writing dynamics and stories I've wanted to write, and realised I could. Wrote many, many different characters and voices, experimented with writing smut in a way that I actually connected with it, and had a lot of fun. >:3
now i'm here, and for the most part, I really, really like what I'm writing. <3 always experimenting, pushing the boundaries.
maybe.... maybe I'd try writing something longer in the future, but I really, really don't have the space for it right now. writing up my phd thesis, and working a full time position... yeah.
I have a germ for a romance novel idea (I am Passionate about writing smut well, okay), but that's got a pin in it until... until I finally am not juggling a million things at once, oh my god. <3

Can we get some content for how the Android darling and Ms. Bright would meet?
In this [🍰🍑🤖] we get a glimpse of what their relationship is like and a lil mention of how things have worked out- But let's see how it played out from the a.is perspective.
Hi boo, I hope you're doing great, I'm very sorry for the long ass waiting- Sadly I may warn y'all that I have gone through many stages while writing this: h 0 r ny, corny, and angsty. This is actually pretty heavy, as I tried pulling some of the loose threads that I left all over Ingrid's posts (I still need to give her an bio ;-; I'm sorry y'all-)
So this is all over the place, since this is a fic I've been writing for a long time.
Also I know jackshit about robotics, and I think this fic shows how much I don't know anything XD
TW: Family issues related to: LGBTQ identity // very angsty // Ingrid is very rude, but she also struggles a lot during this- // socially distant // socially awkward // being misinterpreted/having a hard time socializing //
Tags: angy sad lady // ownership dynamic // this is basically the reader reminiscing about the past (continuing it from where Happy Lies left off) // the reader is low-key a simp at times- // master x servant dynamic, possessive behavior and a lot of yelling // just angsty really, I'm so sorry //

Happy birthday, mistress [Yandere!CEO OC x A.I!Reader - Short Fanfiction]
3,763 words
Whenever you remember your first day of activation, or more accurately your first day of actually being able to be activated for more than five seconds (you can't remember it fully, but you're aware that because of your complex design, you had passed through a lot of prototype phases before you could properly function-), you almost feel an odd sense of nostalgia, maybe due to the fact it was indeed the most important day of your existence as an android.
It was Ms.Bright's nineteenth birthday, when she would be handed the corporation that has been passed down by generations. And not only would she inherit the company, but also a beautifully designed a.i assistant made to help Ms.Bright's every need. You were made to be an easy communication center from Ms.Bright to the employees, as Ms.Bright's had a hard time communicating with people and expressing herself.
At first, she didn't seem to enjoy the idea very much- It was clear that she considered you to be quite annoying and useless. And- Well- It did hurt at first, after all, you were built to help her and be her friend no matter what.
So hearing her be mean towards you was… Very tough at first. Your first day as her assistant wasn't easy, you ended up getting in her way most of the time- And since she also didn't know exactly what she was doing, she got overwhelmed by so many things going down in one single day.
Ingrid has always dreamed of being in power of the company- Actually, now that you know her a little more- You can positively say she was probably just stressed at having to deal with so many responsibilities so suddenly, even if it has been her lifelong wish to inherit the company.
And even if it seems impossible at times, she would still come back strong and find a way to deal with it. That's something you really admire about her.
Your first week on the job was basically just trying to get accustomed and trying to learn everything you needed to do- While also trying to understand Ms.Bright as best as you could. Now… You weren't built to say this- And- And of course you don't think like this anymore, but…. You used to think she was really mean.
Frightening, even.
Now that you're all alone waiting for her to get back from work, you can't help but feel like replaying those moments inside your head.
"{... Replaying recorded conversation n°000050: "My second day at work"...}"
" Oh, what are you doing here?"
" Morning Ms.Bright! I-I was rechecking the files from yesterday and I was trying my best to reorganize them, a-after the incident-"
" The "incident" that you caused yesterday?"
" Well, yes, of course! I wanted to fix things up before you came back, I'm really sorry for being so reckless, I promise I won't do it again, I was just-"
"It 's fine. You don't need to worry about it."
" But… But I thought-"
" The files you had messed with weren't really all that important, and besides I'm sure there are copies all around the place. Sigh, who am I kidding- In reality, I should be the one apologizing for my behavior yesterday."
"...."
" I recognize that I shouldn't have treated you the way that I did, in a sense it's my fault you lost those files in the first place."
" … Well, it's nothing really mistress, I'm the one who should-"
" No, don't even finish it. You shouldn't have to apologize and shouldn't have spent the night wasting your battery on this-"
"...."
".... You know what, do whatever- I sometimes forget that you are… Nevermind, come back to my office as soon as you can."
"{... End of recorded conversation n°000.000.050… }"
You never knew what she was going to say, but you remember not being able to ask her that- As you were afraid of her potentially getting mad at you for asking too many questions. She always seemed so ruthless at times.
You remember the time you went to a family event with her, a family party, where an incident happened and she was absolutely livid. Your relationship with her wasn't so pretty at the time, you don't know why but- Your mistress didn't seem to trust you as much as you wish she did at the time.
"{... Replaying recorded conversation n°000.001.588: "First party ever- And it was very unpleasant" ...}"
" What's the matter with you?! Why can't you follow simple instructions- I told you to stay here and not mess around."
" I'm. So. Sorry. Mistress-"
" Even your vocal module is broken- Who told you to enter that pool in the first place?? You can't tell me you did something so stupid all on your own."
" I. Slipped.-"
" Am I a joke to you? I've said tell me who gave you the order to jump in the goddamn pool while everyone else was inside- Don't you dare start lying to me."
" … One of the. Party guests. Lost something. Inside the water. I tried helping them. But I started to. Malfunction."
" … Sigh, okay. Continue."
" It wasn't. Their fault. I did it. On my own. I was just- Trying. To help."
" By throwing yourself inside a pool when you're well aware of the damage the water can cause to your inner systems?!"
" I'm sorry!"
" You could have- No, you SHOULD have called someone else to help you, I can't believe it- You could have drowned in there and I wouldn't even be aware of that since I was inside the house, [Y/n]!"
" …. But Ms.Bright. I can't drown-"
" Yeah, yeah- I know you-... I know you can't drown."
" … Listen, you could have still gotten yourself hurt okay? You could have permanently damaged your systems, and if I wasn't made aware of what happened, I wouldn't have been able to take you out of the water in time, okay?"
"... Sigh, I just realized how much I have been yelling, everyone is probably scared now that I've made such a scandal. This… Isn't really a new thing to me, I'm accustomed to ruining parties like this. I'll have to apologise later to everyone. [Y/n], please just- When I ask you to stay still, please listen to me. I was worried about you."
"...."
"{... End of recorded conversation n°000.001.588 ...}"
You can't deny it- Whenever she was truly irritated she could make any person next to her feel threatened, though the more you look at your recordings, you feel like she doesn't really want to be feared like this. Respected? Absolutely. Feared? Not ideal, but she takes it anyway.
You have a couple of different recordings here and there, your memories are separated into sections. You have recordings of events in several formats: pictures, videos, texts and audio recordings. Though the one you use the most is audio recordings, since videos take a very big space inside your mind, and pictures need context, otherwise they wouldn't be considered memories, right?
You can't have many memories at a time because most of your mind is supposed to be used to store the company's files, so you do have a couple of memories that you have deleted to make space for the Bright Vision's more secret/personal documents. Since Ingrid took you home yesterday, and said you won't be going to work for the company anymore, then maybe you can find somewhere else to store those files so you can make space for new memories with Ms.Bright.
First, you'll need to recheck some of your own memories to see if they're worth holding onto. There is probably a lot of junk in there that you won't be needing anymore, which can be a bit tedious and take some time, but you clearly have enough time on your hands to do so, considering how she is not home and- Well, you're pretty bored, you already done everything that she asked you to do.
Honestly, she gave such small tasks today, she probably didn't plan to change your work environment so suddenly.
After about an hour of research through your data you have realized that even if you have way too many files, it's kinda hard to delete them. At first you didn't mind the idea of deleting certain stuff, but now it feels a bit sad to erase parts of your memory, you just had so many good times and- And even the bad times are worth remembering, right?
It has been an hour of you just standing there, trying your best to not delete anything important while also revising each recording you have. Most files are a bit out of order, numerically speaking, but you don't mind that too much cause- Well, you can always reorganize them later.
… You never actually do that, but you like to think that one day you will, though.
After so many recordings of conversations, you found one who didn't seem to really belong in your head. You see, you always title every single thing inside your personal archives so that it doesn't get mixed with other files- All of your memories have a specific title so that you can have an idea of which is which.
The thing is- You don't remember this file, the title seems off, and it seems like it's incomplete. Oddly broken. Still, you decided to take a listen and try to remember what happened in this event.
"{... Replaying recorded conversation n°000.068.xxx: "I yell too much" ...}"
"...."
"...."
"...."
This is a very silent audio, there seems to be some background noise happening, but you can't make out what's happening. This audio sounds distorted, edited maybe. Someone tried messing with your memories but they weren't able to completely erase this file.
Maybe they were inexperienced at the time.
"...."
"...."
"...."
You think you heard something, it sounded closer to you- It sounded like someone possibly sitting down next to you. You don't know who it is, or what it is
"...."
".... I'm such a mess. Why am I doing this? Why does this feels so-"
"...."
It seems like someone is speaking, but you're not speaking back. Even in this heavily edited audio, you can still make out what sounds to be a feminine voice.
".... I'm sorry for, well, using you this way. It feels- So, so weird."
"...."
".... I just want… No, I need to vent to you for a while, even if you won't remember what I'm going to say."
This audio gives you an odd sensation. You think you're starting to recognize who this is- But then again, who else could it be, if not Ms.Bright herself?
" I never did this before, with something so- Human like- With something so human looking. I used to record my thoughts on my phone but I thought I would never need to vent with an object before- But here I am! Making a fool of myself…"
"...."
The speaker, who you assume to be Ingrid, seems to be having a lot of trouble speaking, her voice is cracking and her breathing seems uneven. She sounds out of breath, and she takes a lot of pauses to be able to speak her mind.
"...."
".... I have…. Thought about opening myself in this way because- Because I have no one else to listen to it, and I guess I can only blame myself for it. I know I'm difficult, I know I'm rude and I know I come across as a tyrant to everyone else- I- I really don't know what 's wrong with me, okay?!"
" Years, and years, and years of training, of studying, of planning to become the very next owner of this corporation as it's already not only a job but also a very painful family tradition that I felt proud of! That I gave everything that I could to be part of! I remember wanting this so bad, I remember how I used to daydream about this stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid tradition when I was a little kid who just wanted to do more, to be more!"
".… I almost lost all of this. 19 years of my life that were threatened to be thrown in the trash just because I- Because I'm not his son??! Because I- I'm not his only "son" anymore??.... Who said I ever was- Who said I ever was his son…?"
".... I- I know all about the stupid, awful and extremely unnecessary tradition of passing the leadership from father to son, and to this very day- inside the same office all of my predecessors had went through- I still think that tradition is garbage. I always thought I wouldn't make it here, I always thought something would stop me from being the next face of Bright Vision."
".... I can't tell- If I always knew about this- I can't even imagine how I knew this considering the dumb kid that I was, but…"
".... I'm his daughter. I'm Mr.Bright's only daughter, and the only possible heir to this twisted company."
" The people outside think our only focus it's on robotics and technology of all kinds. I wish I could go back to thinking that too, it would have been so much simpler that way."
" After a very long fight about my rights as the heir to this- Company. My father thought it would be wise to move to the countryside. Far away from all of this. And to be fair, I was- So, so mad at him that I thought that him moving away from here and letting me be would be better, but every now and then I- I miss him. I miss him so much…."
"He sent me a birthday present today. After three years of absolute silence he sends me flowers and- And a gift card containing his number… And I- Called him despite everything, and even so to this day he can't even say my name- IT'S BEEN THREE YEARS AFTER HE LEFT ME ALL ALONE WITH THIS CURSED BUSINESS AND HE STILL CAN'T FUCKING. SAY. MY. NAME."
You felt scared at the sudden yelling, even if her voice was progressively getting more aggressive and louder, you still got caught up by the sudden yelling.
".... I'm- A mess- I know that now."
You can't understand what's going on, but it sounds like she started laughing… Or maybe crying? Probably both.
".... I'm just terrible at this. I always was, weren't I? I'm just terrible at these types of interactions- Maybe all of them! I just don't understand how to- How to do it?? I don't know anymore…."
".... That's why I have you, in the first place, isn't it?"
" I had such an awful time expressing myself that they gave me an overpriced doll to do it for me. When I first heard about this three years ago, I- I've felt so fucking pitiful."
" Can you imagine it? The CEO of such a big corporation is so difficult to deal with that she needs an overly glorified doll that can translate her words to the other employees! An a.i created just to help me, an absolute idiot!"
".... I've felt so angry at them- I felt so angry at him for having to build a robot just to be a comfort pet to the stressful work that I would have to do for the rest of my position as owner of Bright Vision Corp, and I was mad at you! You pissed me off to no end, and I- I just couldn't help but be frustrated at you, not for being in my way, but for being an reminder that I'm awful at this-"
"...."
Her sobs stopped her from continuing that sentence.
".... I've treated you so unfairly because of this. I- I made sure that whenever you looked at me you would feel terrified of me because that's the only way I thought I could be respected, that's the only way I thought you would listen to me, and yet you never did…. You weren't built to follow my every order perfectly, you were made to be literally my only friend, after 22 years, here you are- The only person that can get me isn't even an actual person-"
"..... And I forget this…! I forget this every time I look at your eyes, I forget how robotic you are whenever I see you helping others not because you were told to, but just because you thought you could."
"...."
".... I always forget that you're supposed to be just another robot… He really did think about everything when designing you."
".... I always catch myself being awful towards you, being- Being excessively rude, not because of my way of talking but because of my own petty feelings towards you as my assistant… As my friend, as my android, as my-"
"...."
"..... I'm so sorry for being like this, you don't deserve to have someone who is constantly being mean towards you be considered your boss- Your boss, your friend- ...Sigh, even your owner…"
" I'm sorry [Y/n], I'm really, really sorry- But it doesn't matter how many times I say that- I don't know if I can ever make it up to you. Words won't heal any wounds, they never did."
"...."
".... But maybe actions will."
"...."
" I'll stop being so harsh on you, you really don't deserve this- I was feeling weird about using your recording system to vent like this, but now that I think about it I have been using you as a venting mechanism since the day we met……. I'm- I'm so goddamn awful."
"...."
"...."
" "How can someone so in love be so cruel?".... Would you be able to answer me if you were conscious?.... I don't think you would, no one has been able to tell me the right answer yet."
".... I hope I can be better- I will be better."
"...."
" I just need to remember how to delete this file before you wake up- I hope I can do that. End recording."
"{... End of recorded conversation n°000.068.xxx …}
………….
It took you about an hour or so to be able to process what you have just listened to. And even then, you weren't able to fully comprehend what happened.
Ms.Bright- No, Ingrid- Ingrid has used your recording system while you were out, she probably tried deleting the file but because she was inexperienced with your kind of technology, she decided to just edit it and try to make it unlistenable.
It was- Barely audible but you still got to understand some of it.
Did she- Did she forget to completely erase it? Did she forget entirely??? You're not sure.
You don't know why but a sudden wave of- Something- Something feels so odd about this-
You don't know how to respond really. You don't feel mad about her ranting to you, you don't even feel bad about her ranting to you while you weren't aware- You feel bad, but not because of her but because of the emotional turmoil she has been hiding from you.
Should you do something? Should you say something?? How do you even- You don't know how respond to this-
You're programmed to comfort her, yet- This file is already old, and she didn't want you to remember this so maybe it won't be the best idea to bring it up, but what can you do??!
Maybe you just need to rethink this through, maybe you should listen to audio again, and try to figure out what's the best way to help her out when she comes back.
You're honestly baffled at the idea that someone like her had so much to confess to- You probably shouldn't have seen her as an unstoppable goddess in the first place, but then again- Even after hearing her open herself, even after listening to her insecurities- Your opinion of her hasn't changed.
She was holding this for so long, no wonder she always seems on edge.
She 's only human. Yet you never really saw her as just that.
She was always so much larger than you, so much stronger than what your fabricated body was, and she always sounded so much smarter and- And she was just always so… Terrifyingly beautiful to you.
Ingrid Bright was always considered a very good looking individual, but no one ever considered her to be much else because of her way of speaking to others (which may sound rude and occasionally condescending, causing others to avoid her as much as they could), but you always thought she was so much more than that-
It's hard to even explain it really, ever since you met you have started to understand the concept of how beauty and fear can mix together, you find her to be so beautiful, yet her demeanor and stature makes you feel afraid of her for some reason- And even worse than that, the fear she may unconsciously bring you makes her seem more beautiful in your eyes.
You shouldn't think of her as scary or frightening, she is your boss, your master and your owner, there is no reason for why you should feel this way towards her- But then again, there is no reason for you to even feel in the first place, you were just built to do so.
You don't think she means harm to anyone, after getting to know her you realize why her behavior can be misinterpreted as mean and scary- Ms.Bright always had a hard time socializing with others, even her family had a hard time understanding her, so maybe that's why she grew to have such a tough exterior.
As someone that was built to make the communication between CEO and employees easier, you've had to learn to understand her to be able to help others understand her as well, and vice versa. It wasn't easy, and you wouldn't say that you know her completely well- But you feel proud of the work you have done so far, you're her loyal companion but more importantly a friend.
Funny how much you learned not only about her, the employees, or even the business of the company- But also about humans in general in these five years of working for her, it makes you feel more whole when you remember how much you have achieved.
You hope you can somehow help her right now, and to help her from here on out. You decide to wait for her and possibly talk about how she feels and how she deals with said feelings. Hopefully all ends well.

Sorry for the loose ending! I was feeling very tired ;-; but if anyone wants it I could totally make a second chapter with a better ending.

Awesome Aussie Inventions
A lot of people tend to think of Australia as a kind of desert island with a small population, kangaroos and koalas and not much else. While we may not have as many humans we have made some pretty neat inventions over the years. THIS IS NOT ALL THE INVENTIONS, just some of the ones people might know of. Listed by oldest first.
Stone Cutting Tools. Aboriginal Australians have been using stone tools for up to 50,000 years ago. Believed to be the first humans to use stone tools for cutting and grinding.
Boomerang There are actually many types of Boomerang, the most well known being the returning boomerang. Invented by Indigfenous Australian 10s of 1000s of years ago.
Didgeridoo (500 BC) We don’t know for sure but the Didgeridoo has been around for at least 2000yrs. Used to make music and tell stories as well as for healing. I love the sound of a well played didgeridoo.
Woomera (3000 BC) Invented by Indigenous Australians well over 5000 yrs ago. Made out of wood and used as an extension to your arm to throw a spear further and faster. Before the invention of the self-loading rifle the Woomera and spear wwere the fastest weapons in the world.
Pre-paid Postage (1838) world’s first pre-paid postal system using pre-stmaped sheets as envelopes introduced by James Raymond the NSW Colonial Postmaster-General.
Kelpie (1900s) A type of dog specifically bred to cope with the aussie environment and help with mustering and droving.
Notepad (1902) J.A. Birchall took loose sheets of paper, cut them in half, put cardboard at their back then glued the top edge. Thus the notepad was born.
Feature Length Movie (1906)
Armoured Tank (1912) Lance de Mole, a civil engineer and inventor submitted proposal and extensive drawings to the British War Office that ended up becoming the tank.
Drip Rifle (1915) Used at Gallipoli to evactuate the troops without the Turks knowing. The rifles were self-fire based on water dripping into a container. Many were set up with different sized containers and drip rates so the guns would still fire randomly and the Turks would not know they were actually evacuating.
Vegemite (1922) Made from left-over yeast from the beer-making process
Electronic Pacemaker (1926)
Flying Doctor Service (1928) Reverend John Flynn founded the world’s first Aerial Medical Service.
Humidicrib (1930s)
The Ute (1934) AKA pick-up truck. (ute is short for utility)
Wine Cask (1935) Known as ‘goon’. A cardboard box that made selling wile cheaply in bulk possible.
Penicillin (1940s) Howard Florey developed a way to manufacture penicillin to be used to treat infections in humans.
Zinc Cream (1940s) White sunblock
Folding Stroller (1942)
Hills Hoist (1948)
School of the Air (1950)
Solar Hot Water (1953)
Black Box Flight Data Recorder (1953)
Stainless Steel Braces (1956)
Garage Roller door (1956) Very disputed invention but documentation shows it was first produced by B&D in 1956.
Plastic Lenses (1960) Frequently used in sunglasses
Disposable Latex Gloves (1960s)
Ultrasound (1961)
Insect Repellent (1963)
Inflatable Escape Slide/ Life Raft (1965) Made to help you survive a water landing in a plane.
Microsurgery (1968)
Cycloprothin (1970s) A non-toxic insecticide used in asia to control pests in rice paddies
Dynamic Lifter (1970s) Fertiliser pellets used worldwide
Power board (1972) Used in houses all over the world as a way to make one wall power socket available for a few power plugs
Wave Energy System (1975) a zero-emission electricity energy system using the oceans swell.
Triton Workbench (1976)
Cochlear Implant (1978)
Dual Flush Toilet (1982) Invented to help save water
IVF Embryo Freeze - thaw procedure (1983)
Plastic Bank Notes (1988)
Wi-Fi Technology (1990) Dr John O’Sullivan created a Fast Fourier Transform Chip, realised it’s potential and with the CSIRO helped create Wi-Fi as we know it.
Calicivirus (1995) Used to help control the feral population of rabbits. Only affects rabbits and is very successful. First accidentally released in 1995 and reduce the rabbit population by about 80%. 10,000,000 rabbits killed in 8 weeks. Rabbits are responsible for a lot of damage to native plants and also crops and a big reason the Lesser Bilby became exinct and the Greater Bilby is endangered.
Spray-on-skin (1999) to help burns victims recover, takes their own skin and makes is so they can spray it on the wound.

How does you OC act around different people and how does their personality change to match the environment they’re in? How do they act with: friends, family, strangers, children or their lover(s)?
Hoo boy, this is gonna be a big one.
Thanks for the Ask anon! Big love. <3
Ven’fir (Sith Warrior) is a larger-than-life kind of guy. He’s brash, loud, immature and insensitive, and is absolutely terrible at hiding it. He’s the epitome of an extrovert. Outside of battle he’s laid back and oddly friendly for a Sith, which unnerves those who don’t know him. In battle, he’s brutal, vicious and relentless. He’s not a sadist, but he enjoys the thrill of the hunt and the fun of a challenging fight.
Friends: Ven is laid-back, playful and energetic, and often a bit... much. He’s completely shameless and often embarrassing, which means that people frequently find him a little too much to handle, even if he wants to be friends. He has a very loose definition of friendship too, as he considers anyone who he’s had a pleasant ten minute conversation with (and who hasn’t actively attempted his murder) to be his friend. This backfires on him often.
Family: This is a tricky one, as his family is somewhat of a sore subject with him. A Force sensitive alien, he was adopted at a very young age by a Sith matriarch as a novelty, and when that novelty wore off he was dumped with a veritable army of nannies, servants and tutors. Lonely and spoiled, he acted out for attention and generally raised hell to get his mother to notice him. Fast forward to the schism between him and Darth Baras when the latter attempted to kill him, and he found himself disowned after a smear campaign by his former master upon discovering that his apprentice wasn’t actually dead yet. That was the last straw, and he never forgave his family. He hasn’t spoken to them since founding the Alliance.
Strangers: To strangers, Ven’fir is a bit of an unnerving character. Surprisingly friendly and open for a Sith, he tends to lean towards somewhat mean spirited teasing and flirtation, putting on his public persona as the untouchable, unflappable rogue. Vette often has to step in when his teasing crosses the line into meanness, and he trusts her judgement. He comes across as a hurricane of a figure, all energy and fire. This intimidates many people, even those who he doesn’t mean to frighten.
Children: Ask Ven when he was younger and he sound say that children were annoying, gross and they cramped his style. Ask him after he grew up some, and he would say that they are adorable and just as immature as he is, and he wants one. Maybe two. Three?
He very much wants children of his own, and this scares Vette when she thinks about the trouble a legion of children raise by Ven’fir could cause.
With children he is kind, playful and indulgent. He will never be the authoritative voice, but he will sneak chocolate and treats for them after dinner.
Lover: Well, this one is a difficult one.
When he was younger, Ven was a bit of a rogue. He slept with anyone that interested him, but they never were able to hold his attention for long before he got bored of them. He was selfish, conceited and spoiled, and partied his way through the academy in a whirlwind of indulgences. Booze, stims and sex, he desperately tried to stave off the feeling of loneliness with more excess.
When he met Malavai Quinn, he decided that he wanted the man in his bed. He was pretty, and at the time, that was all that mattered.
He flirted. He teased. He charmed. He failed.
Eventually, he all but dragged the officer to his bed, not seeing or understanding the horrendous imbalance of power in their dynamic and the thousand little ways Quinn was saying ‘no’ without actually using the word for fear of the expected Sith punishment.
When events finally made him realise what he had done, he was horrified. He had used the Captain like a toy, assuming that his feelings were reciprocated without ever actually looking to see if they were. Consumed by guilt, he took a long, hard look at himself and didn’t like what he saw.
Eventually, he changed and the Captain began to forgive him. It was much later when he forgave himself, but the two began a cautious, mutually fond relationship.
Older and wiser, he calmed down and tempered himself, becoming someone much less forceful and selfish (although he still needs to be reminded now and then...). He and Quinn are polar opposites, which causes no little friction, but for the most part, they fit. He’s kinder and more considerate, although he remains a shameless rogue and flirt. He’s not a possessive person, and is simply happy to have someone care about him. He demands a lot of attention, but not consciously. His boundless energy and slightly clingy affection means that he’s quite all-encompassing, and often borders on tiring for his partner. Quinn, the consummate introvert, is the patient sort, but regularly needs a break from his ridiculous, rambunctious energy. Ven’fir doesn’t mind this as long as he can occupy himself, and they are both old enough to understand they need a break from each other now and then.
So... that was long. Oops. I wish I could draw so that I could put up some proper content about my SWTOR verse and it’s assorted OCs, but my drawing skills are akin to those of a carrot.
I loved writing this, so thanks again Anon!

part 1 | part 2 | part 3 |
“You know, I almost died today. How would you feel if I died and you didn’t get the chance to go out with me?”
When Roy had radioed Riza to come into the supply room, the last thing she expected was to see him on the floor, limbs tangled up in a pile of boxes, with stationery and paper strewn everywhere. She’d learned not to even ask with him but did notice a rather large lump appearing on his forehead.
Accepting this new bizarre scenario, he’d found himself in, Riza helped him up. Steadying him, Riza had moved him over to the chair by the door and left to retrieve the first aid kit.
“You know what?” she’d stated, handing him the ice pack. “I’m not even going to ask.”
“I’d rather you didn’t,” he grimaced, pressing down on his skull and hissing as the cold plastic met the skin of his forehead. “But,” he grinned playfully. “You know, I almost died today. How would you feel if I died and you didn’t get the chance to go out with me?” Roy winked.
Things had been easier between them since the initial meeting, and he still liked to pepper in the request every now and then. Riza wasn’t sure if he was still serious, but she’d class them as good enough friends now, that they could both look back on that rocky first few weeks and joke about it.
“A box of office supplies narrowly missed your head,” Riza deadpanned.
“Have you felt the weight of those things? You could kill a man with a well-placed blow.”
“Yes, actually, I have to lug them around half the time.”
Roy opened his mouth to retort, but he had no reply. He closed it promptly, chuckling. “I suppose you do.” His laugh even seemed nervous. “Sorry, of course.”
The room fell silent. Roy winced for a third time as he pressed the ice pack against his skull.
“Here,” Riza murmured. She reached out and gently took the ice pack from his hands. Roy was too stunned to even grip onto it. It almost fell to the floor. He winced again when it was pressed back against his head, but the pressure never let up. “The swelling is never going to go down if you don’t hold it against the wound properly.”
“Wound is extreme.”
“Says the man complaining he almost died today,” Riza fired right back, making him grin. “Stay still!” she scolded after he hissed in pain and winced again, recoiling away from her now iron grip. She had to grab his upper arm to try and keep him from moving.
“But it hurts,” he whined. Every time he’d pressed it harder against his head, he had let up on the pressure. It almost gave him brain freeze and was incredibly uncomfortable. It was even more uncomfortable now because Riza was suddenly very close to him. He could feel her breath on his face as she dipped her head and examined his wound.
He tried to remain inconspicuous as they sat there quietly, shifting minutely to try and angle himself away from her so her breath would stop hitting the skin of his face.
It didn’t work.
“I was never opposed to a date with you,” Riza murmured suddenly, stunning Roy for the second time in the space of five minutes. “I… I had a really good time the night we hooked up. Well, from what I remember,” she chuckled. Roy had opted to stare at her as she spoke, unable to look anywhere else, however Riza was the opposite – avoiding his gaze completely.
Although, it did give Roy the opportunity to notice how pink her cheeks were getting as she voiced her thoughts.
“I wanted to do it again, but then I realised you were my “boss”,” she lifted her free hand to make quotations in the air with her fingers. “And I kind panicked. I thought I might get fired,” she laughed quietly. Riza removed the ice pack from his head, bringing it to rest on her lap, where her gaze followed. “But then everything happened – and you certainly didn’t help – and, well, I just thought it wasn’t worth the hassle.”
“Sorry. I was an ass.”
“You were,” Riza quipped, but she smiled, amused, finally lifting her gaze to meet his. “But I was overstressed and perhaps a little too harsh on you.”
“No, no, you weren’t. It was well deserved,” Roy reassured her. Roy ran a hand through his hair – then winced as he hit a tender spot, causing Riza to laugh quietly to herself, and shake her head. He reasoned if it drew out that reaction, the pain was worth it. And, well, he should have known better. “I’ve always been good at reading people, and I thought it would be fine, but I didn’t consider the fact that yes, we’re at work, and in a completely different environment. At my old work, things were completely different. I’m not saying we all slept around and flirted with each other,” he added hastily, catching her questioningly raised eyebrow. “But what I’m saying is the dynamic was different between the staff. We could make comments like that and the other would laugh it off. I thought it would be okay because, well, we already knew each other. But no. I was an ass. I was just too –” Roy shut his mouth promptly, eyes widening as he realised what he’d almost revealed – he was too hung on Riza to think otherwise.
“Too what?” Riza questioned.
His saviour came in the form of Rebecca Catalina. “Riza?” she called over the radio.
“Hello.”
“Can you come up to reception and give me a hand with moving all this stationary stuff? A big order has come in.”
The two shared a look.
Roy quickly removed his radio and intervened. “It’s okay, Rebecca,” he replied for Riza, meeting her eyes. “I’m down this way anyway doing an inventory check. I’ll move it all down.”
“Okay, no problem.”
“I still have all this mess to clean up anyway,” he chuckled, standing from his chair.
“Do you want some help?”
“No, I’ll be fine. It’s okay. Thank you, though. For the offer, and for hearing me out.”
“No problem, Roy,” Riza smiled, slipping out the door after one final smile she shot his way.
Roy let loose a heavy sigh. He’d almost blew it by telling her everything. He was happy that the offer of a date wasn’t off the cards, but it would do no good for him to admit that she’d essentially stolen his heart the first night they’d been together. She’d been a riot then and working with Riza, he’d gotten to know her better, which further revealed even more things he loved about her and her personality.
He was completely gone when she quietly returned with a coffee for him, equipped with a small smile. She placed it on top of the shelf opposite him and slipped back out the door.
Roy was in big trouble.

I am a total nerd of Team Miror B. and have been attempting to return to a Miror centric blog with tons of headcanon tacked on to the fabulous display. Seeing this blog and all its love for Orre makes me desire to come forward and ask: What are some of your major headcanons regarding Team Miror B? Their dynamics? Their motives? Their true goals? Their personalities? Tell me all! I want to know!
Hmmm well usually I like to make headcanons that stem off of what could be seen in the game. In Colosseum, Trudly and Folly are only half of Miror B’s original posse. Ferma and Reath was the other half, but they are absent in Pokemon XD for some reason. Needless to say, Team Miror B was far more powerful in Colosseum than in XD, but that was because they were still serving under Cipher.
In Colosseum, Miror B. is an enthusiastic overseer who’s hubris was always his weakness. Trudly and Folly are loyal members of his posse who have stuck with him for years after Colosseum, but at the cost of becoming a nomadic tribe of three for an unknown period of time. The two were last seen hiding out in the Mayor’s office in Phenac City after escaping Pyrite Town’s jail, while Miror B. is last seen in the Deep Colosseum, hiding behind knockout challenges with the rest of the Cipher Admins. Even more obscure than them however, Reath and Ferma were left hiding out in Miror B’s old hideout in Pyrite Cave, driving out the optional boss fight with Mirakle B too.
At some point Miror B. must have reunited himself with Trudly and Folly after escaping to the surface, or Trudly and Folly must have searched and found Miror B. themselves. Given Miror B.’s style of dancing alone, it’s a likely possibility that they found him first before or after the Under was sealed. We don’t know where Reath or Ferma could have gone, but neither do we know about the rest of the admins. We only know that Evice and Nascour were likely sent to a prison as stated by an NPC in XD.
In XD it can be seen that Miror B. tends to do his own thing like a loose cannon. More often than not, Trudly and Folly struggle to keep up with him and his antics, so much so that they even made the Miror B. Radar to track his whereabouts and be warned when he surfaces again. But when they immediately lost the radar, they had to work double time to keep up with the agile boss.
Despite their loyalty though, it would seem Folly was starting to see the folly of their boss’s dream at some point during their escapades in XD.
Trudley stays loyal to Miror B.’s dream, but Folly seems to make sense of the futility of actually attempting to own all the Pokemon in the world and worries about his own future if he continues following Miror B.
Despite this, he continues to remain loyal to Miror B. down to the end and beyond once the last Shadow Pokemon has been snagged. Folly is obviously the more reasonable of the group while Trudly isn’t as easily phased by such logic.
With every Pokemon they managed to get, they seem to be only capable of nabbing the Shadow Pokemon Michael failed to snag initially. Though it could be attributed that Miror B’s Jumpluff, Shiftry, and Non-Shadow Sudowoodo were caught Orre’s improved Wild environments in XD, the Pokespots.
One hilarious detail around Miror B, he geniunely believes his dance will bring around all the Pokemon
I don’t have a screen, but if you encounter Miror B. at the Oasis Pokespot, Trudley or Folly will tell you not to disturb Miror B. as he dances to summon Wild Pokemon to his presence. You will also get to know that they occasionally have to eat some of the Poke Snacks people leave at the spots because they get so hungry and are usually low on money.
Listen, if you have ever watched the Pokemon Anime as I have back when I used to like it (long time ago), you can easily compare the Team Rocket trio to Team Miror B. here. Whatever menace they were when they premiered is long gone, and they are seen more as those dastardly Kid’s TV show villains you can’t help but love and relate to on some level. They travel together, one of them is the mascot and brains of the group most of the time, they struggle together and clumsily lose most of their progress in whatever mission they have but they are still close as the three musketeers. Even in failure they remain together in each other’s support. You can definitely compare Team Miror B to the anime’s Team Rocket.
Miror B. may have only wanted to dance to an audience all this time. He is ironically the most useful character in XD for catching what Michael fails to Snag the first time. Odd that he would be able to get these Shadow Pokemon so easily, but given how the Purify Chamber works with upbeat tempos and a rhythm with Pokemon in their own “party” of sorts surrounding a Shadow Pokemon affecting them with pleasant feelings to open their heart, it could be theorized that Miror B’s own music and dancing was what attracted these feral Shadow Pokemon to him in the first place. Miror B’s dancing and music might have emulated what the Purify Chamber provided on some level, But how could they know that the Pokemon they were catching were Shadow Pokemon in the first place? Neither Miror B, nor his posse, have an Aura Reader or some girl with clairvoyant sight. To them, Miror B’s dancing really did bring Wild Pokemon to their fold unbeknownst to what they were actually catching.
Though they probably did realize at some point that they were catching runaway Shadow Pokemon. Miror B and Folly raided the Cipher Key Lair to obtain the last authentic Shadow Pokemon, Dragonite, knowing full well what it was. And took the time to celebrate on Gateon Port’s lighthouse for their powerful catch from the remnants of the syndicate they used to work for. They celebrate their small victories together even though their losses greatly outnumbered their gains.
That is what I think of these three. Miror B. is ambitious and his dreams are as big as his afro. Trudley is loyal, so is Folly but he can’t not think about the repercussions of the future. Though as of where he last saw them, they seem content staying at the Krabby Club.

AVault - Philip Campbell Interview - Tomb Raider 1: Unfinished Business
Interview appeared on AVault website, dated sometime 1998. Article was written by David Laprad.
On Friday, March 20, Eidos Interactive gave legions of Lara Croft fans a very nice thank you in the form of four free add-on levels for the original game. Called Tomb Raider Gold, these never-before-seen levels were designed by Phil Campbell, producer and designer for a number of Eidos titles. The new levels are split into two sections: Unfinished Business and The Shadow of the Cat. Unfinished Business consists of two expert levels chronicling Lara's dramatic return to Atlantis, where she must destroy a hidden alien hatchery. The Shadow of the Cat levels take players back to the City of Khamoon to embark on an all-new adventure. The Adrenaline Vault was able to catch up with a busy Campbell and get his insight into the Tomb Raider Gold design process and all things Lara Croft.
AVault:
Thank you for taking time to speak with us. How long have you been involved with the world of Tomb Raider?
Philip Campbell:
I have been doing Tomb Raider-related work since March of last year. I was not involved with the original game at all. When Jeremy and Adrian Smith saw my work on another Eidos project, they asked me if I would like to design some expert levels. I worked at Core in England for a couple months creating concepts for a number of possible levels. Subsequently, I designed and built the two Unfinished Business levels. Later, I designed the Shadow of the Cat levels with the help of Rebecca Shearin, a senior artist here at Eidos.
AVault:
What other game development experience do you have?
Philip Campbell:
I started work at Domark in San Mateo a few years ago. Before that, I had been an architect for 15 years. Initially, I was art director on a couple of projects, and now I am handling producer and designer roles on a number of projects. Currently, I am working on Vermin with Kronos Digital and Omikron with Quantic Dream. I guess I am the office handyman! I try to get involved in all design related projects, ranging from external development to Tomb Raider publications, comics, and merchandising.
AVault:
Where does your work take you?
Philip Campbell:
Technically, I am a senior producer and designer working for Eidos USA and based in San Francisco. However, my current schedule has me spending six weeks in Paris working on Omikron and two weeks in Los Angeles working on Vermin. In Paris, I just completed the recording and motion capture sessions, and am currently concentrating on level designs. Although I work for the publisher, I supplement the Omikron design team. On Vermin, Tom Marx and I form a production team, helping the external developers with design issues. We have been very involved with this project from the beginning and are trying to break down the traditional concept of publisher and developer relationships by working closely with the team on all aspects of the game. Back in the U.S., I am currently designing a marketing, packaging, and website campaign for Omikron with the marketing department, and working on another Tomb Raider product.
AVault:
Working on another Tomb Raider product? Do tell!
Philip Campbell:
[to the sounds of his hands being tied by public relations] Soon! Very soon!
AVault:
Why is Eidos publishing Tomb Raider again, this time with extra levels?
Philip Campbell:
Tomb Raider Gold is an added value product. The four new levels, extra goodies, and the low price make it a great deal. There are probably a lot of new converts to Tomb Raider following Tomb Raider 2, and we wanted to make it easy for them to pick up the rest of the story.
AVault:
It is rumored the Unfinished Business levels are for expert players only. What special challenges confront players in these levels?
Philip Campbell:
The two levels that detail Lara's return to Atlantis are meant to follow directly from the end of the original game; therefore, we had to make sure the difficulty was as high, or higher, than the preceding levels. I do not think they are that difficult, but the player who really wants a test should play them before the Shadow of the Cat levels to limit the number of pickups and weapons.
AVault:
You do realize cruelty in game design is a punishable crime.
Philip Campbell:
I do not think we are being cruel! Devious, yes. Even sneaky. Hard, but fair. I think the levels reward careful play. No enemies materialize from thin air, nor are there random deaths, except for that one situation....
AVault:
Do the new levels concentrate on adventure-style puzzles, similar to the King Midas brain-buster from the original, or are they more focused on action, like the sequel?
Philip Campbell:
Both, although there may be a slight emphasis on action. The nature of the Atlantean foes makes them very tough enemies. On the other hand, the first Unfinished Business level is like a puzzle box. You must have an understanding of where rooms are in relation to one another. The Shadow of the Cat levels are more focused on mystery and mysterious puzzles. The player can get cat visions, and some objects transform. I loosely based a series of room puzzles on the Nine Lives of the Cat, an Egyptian hierarchy of gods. For instance, there is the Sun God room, where everything looks like it has been bleached out by the intense rays.
AVault:
Describe the conceptual development of these levels. Did you do any special research, and run into any unique design problems? I imagine you drew upon your experience as an architect.
Philip Campbell:
The Unfinished Business levels are based around a tight architectural construct. There are a lot of transparencies highlighting the connections between the various spaces. I imagined a giant underground hatchery, built out of the synthesis of a crumbling ancient architecture and a horrific kind of gunk. This is why you will find some very organic areas growing out of some fairly formal sets of rooms. Of course, everything is built upon the fiery red lava, and I wanted the lava to be constantly bubbling and popping throughout the levels. I worked around a lot of concepts I felt constituted good level design, such as foreshadowing events, allowing the player overall tactical views before a confrontation, building up the intensity as the action progresses, all the time considering dramatic camera angles and dramatically designed spaces. I did the Shadow of the Cat levels because I loved the Egyptian look in the original game, and wanted to add to the mythology of Khamoon. I did do a bit of research into Egyptian lore and culture, but mostly I imagined huge outside spaces, vast expanses of desert, and gigantic pyramids.
AVault:
Describe the actual dynamics of constructing the levels.
Philip Campbell:
The editor was a joy to work with. Rather than feeling like I was building models, plane by plane, vector by vector, I felt as though I was sculpting space, taking a solid block of matter and carving out an environment. Designing Tomb Raider levels involves a lot of late nights, on-the-spot testing, and subsequent tweaking and rebuilding. One of the great advantages of the editor is you can test as you go along.
AVault:
How easy was it to pick up the editing tools?
Philip Campbell:
The tools are geared to results, and I think part of the success of the original game is due to the quality of the level editor. It is very simple to build, test, and revise. The original did have some limitations, but these tended to focus the design rather than hinder it. Of course, my challenge was to build levels with the same high quality as the original, and I hope players find the maps challenging, compelling, and enjoyable.
AVault:
Do you think the editing tools could be mastered by the Internet community? What are the chances of them being freely released?
Philip Campbell:
Anyone with a creative eye could build playable levels, and I hope you will soon have a chance to do just that.
AVault:
You mentioned working with Rebecca Shearin on the Shadow of the Cat levels. Is there new art in Tomb Raider Gold?
Philip Campbell:
Rebecca and I came up with some concept designs the Shadow of the Cat levels, and she made some great new textures, many of which have a feline flavor. We had to stick very closely with the original textures for the Atlantean levels for continuity's sake, but I had a free hand as far as structures and constructs were concerned. For the Egyptian areas, I started out with pretty much the same texture set as the original, then gradually introduced new material as the mystery progressed. We were also aiming for more dramatic outside spaces than the original, so the levels ended up being pretty huge.
AVault:
What is your take on the Lara Croft phenomenon? Do you feel there have been any missteps along the way?
Philip Campbell:
Of course not! The whole Lara Croft and Tomb Raider franchise is the current preoccupation of many talented people at Eidos and Core. Everything is carefully geared to respond to our audience's wishes, and each step is meticulously planned. With a movie deal now in the works, it is critical for us to generate a quality script. Eidos makes sure experts are employed to deal with every conceivable expansion area for the franchise.
AVault:
Where do you see the franchise going?
Philip Campbell:
Tomb Raider is both a series and a franchise, and has potential to develop in many directions. The movie is an exciting opportunity, and as long as people want Lara Croft games, we will continue making them.
AVault:
Describe Vermin and Omikron, as you are able.
Philip Campbell:
Briefly, Vermin is an exciting 3D arcade action game, and Omikron is a real-time action and adventure title. Both look to be potentially great games, and we will be releasing more details as they develop. Certainly, they will both be featured at the Electronic Entertainment Expo this year, alongside our many other titles.
All rights belong to AVault and/or their affiliated companies. I only intend to introduce people to old articles and preserve them before they are lost.
