7 NEW Favorite 2022 Christmas Movies PLUS A CLASSIC

It's the most wonderful time of the TV movie Year. It's rom com Christmas!!! With literally 100's of holidays films being released every year, it's hard to discern the boring from the nice.

In no particular order here are my favorite holiday films this year. My criteria was Clever, Diverse cast, Fun, Charming and Chemistry. If hot chocolate is mentioned or the word 'kiddo" the lazy writers were instantly reported to IMDB writer's prison.

This is probably going to be a divisive choice but I LOVE this movie. It is a cult classic. Yes, it takes place during Christmas. It has a romance in it and reaffirms the love of family. It's also a kick ass action film with a female lead. Who says Christmas films all have to be touchy-feely?

Christmas as a cultural icon is starting to get really dystopian in a climate sense, december has historically been a time of year in which there would be snow in a significant portion of europe and north america, and the fact that its not even icy this time of year and all the christmas songs and decorations reference a time of year that will likely never exist in the same way again in my life time is so strange.
