Honestly at this point I'm convinced Checo is happy to let lestappen chat. Every time, he's just finished a quali/race session and especially in Miami he's obviously tired and sweaty - I bet he's glad to just let Charles take Max's attention so he can sit in peace and quiet and chill by himself without having to think about anything or entertain Max himself haha

This is how he rationalises it to himself but it’s really just Stockholm Syndrome
