Though we are not particularly religious, we love visiting religious sites while travelling, especially Buddhist temples. Tashichho Dzong in Thimphu was the first religious site that we visited in Bhutan. And we were pleasantly surprised by the detailed amount of work that went in finely designing the frescoes and the statues. What we love about Buddhist temples are how vibrantly they are colored. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And the way the Dzong was lit in the evening time just took our breath away. Still can't get enough of this sight!
