Hi there! Two days again, I binged the entirety of your Rimworld comic and finished yesterday. Now, it is bittersweet to see it all end. I love it so much with its characters, the stories; the art. All of that contributes to its amazing charm. I guess all I have to say left (besides list my favourite characters) is I hope The Animist Alliance enjoy a lovely life, wherever they deicide to live among the stars.

But can I basically just request a OLN&F step two crushing scenario with both Tamarack and Qiu(separate), the gist of it is that MC has always been a physically affectionate person as a kid and kept up with that attitude even as a teen, but! is also very unaware of the fact that because they are so physically affectionate with Qiu/Tamarack people all the time think their dating 😭

And if you're being affectionate in public they'll look at the poor people surrounding the two of you, shit eating grin on their face as if they're saying "See this? They chose me and not you. Lol. Losers"

If there's a rumor going around that the two of you are dating, Qiu wouldn't deny it if someone asks them whether its true or not

"So are you two actually dating or..?" "Maybe, maybe not" "…So are you?" "Are we :]?"

Gosh they're insufferable

Makes those rumors worse by either flirting with you or subtly reciprocating your affection where people can witness the moment (the latter rarely happens)

If people start hating on you because of how affectionate you are towards Autumn, they'll start flirting with you even more just to spite them

And because they find your reactions adorable <3

Oh, and Qiu totally puffs out their chest proudly like a lion whenever someone mentions that you're more affectionate towards them than anybody else

Though they're overly smug and teasing about it, they absolutely melt inside. Especially if you're being affectionate in private

They love your little private moments so much. It makes them feel special that though you could've been with anyone else, you're there being affectionate with them instead

Qiu doesn't put in effort to be physically affectionate with anyone these days, but they're willing to do so if its for you

They got so used to your affection that anytime you're near each other and you don't start getting touchy with them after 2 seconds, they kinda get annoyed

Would always be searching for your warmth, it doesn't have to be much, just your pinkies intertwined or your shoulders brushing against each other is enough

You're their special someone

They'll never admit that out loud though! (Yet)

Tamarack was a very affectionate kid, she hugged you anytime she was given the opportunity!! So even if she's more reserved as a teen, throwing her arms around you feels as natural as breathing

But if you're doing it alone together, in the forest or either one of your houses, she'd be drowning in your affection

I think she's equally clingy in private if you have a good relationship with her to be honest

Now. Tamarack definitely always knows what's going on in town, and in school

As much as she denies this rumor whenever someone mentions it to her, she's absolutely giddy about the thought of the two of you being together like that

Sephiroth and Vergil meeting headcannons

-Vergil would be very confused (as he almost always is) and wonder who this strange, effeminate, cat-like man is, and how he can manage hair that long.

-Sephiroth, meanwhile, would bristle, thinking this strange old man to be a friend of Cloud's.

-Since both of them are brooding, emo INTJs, they'll spend a full five minutes staring and quietly analyzing each other.

-Sephiroth would come to the conclusion that the man before him is not a human, and appears to be way stronger than Cloud could ever hope to be. There's also this sinister aura around him that puts Seohiroth on edge. Good. He'll make a great ally, as long as he cooperates.

-Vergil, on the other hand, sees Sephiroth's white hair and notes his age, as well as build. He'd be around Nero's age...and he has the signature Sparda white hair....oh no. He didn't have another offspring...did he?

-After a very long time, Sephiroth finally breaks the silence and asks if Vergil would perhaps be interested in joining him in defying destiny and such.

-Vergil responds, asking if by doing so, he will gain more power.

-Sephiroth doesn't really know what to make of this; he plans on killing him right after his goals have been completed...but hey, he seems like a chill dude. Just humor him.

-Sephiroth tells Veegil that yes, he will gain power, and Vergil is immediately on board. Rather than shake hands to consolidate their new friendship, the two swordsmen bump the hills of their swords together, in a cooler, more badass "fist bump".

-Fast forward 3 months later; Cloud, Dante, Tifa, and Nero have joined forces and are now scouring the Earth, looking for Vergil and Sephiroth. Dante and Nero are doing this because they're secretly worried; Cloud and Tifa are looking because it's been too long since Cloud had a headache--not a good sign.

-The quartet spent a long time searching and finding nothing. Exhausted, they decide to try one more area before calling it a day. They travel to the top of a mountain, where they discover something they weren't prepared for.

-Sitting in matching plastic chairs on a nearby precipice are Vergil and Sephiroth, their katanas delicately resting against the backs of their chairs. They each have hot mugs of coffee and are currently chatting about their mommy issues in the most casual of tones.

-Dante and Cloud exchange looks, as do Nero and Tifa. "Should we...interrupt them?" Asks Nero, uncertainly. Cloud shrugs; Dante sighs and scratches his head, and Tifa just stands there, wondering how life became this messed up.

-Vergil and Sephiroth go on to become the top bringers of Dis-Pear and Motivation, though whether or not either of them achieve their respective goals is uncertain...for now.

In a loving mood...

I love my friends!! I love texting them in our silly little gc and having very meaningful conversations with them as well as very silly conversations and from time to time a serious conversation.. all of our chats mean so much to me. My friends bring me joy and they've been my friends for.. oh my gyatt SO LONG NOW!! I'm so grateful to call Donnie, Trixie, and Vex my friends... They mean more to me than they'll ever know. I love them more than I love TWD.

I also love my family. My friends are basically my family.. but I mean people like my siblings and grandparents.. I love all my siblings even when they're little shits from time to time. Everyone holds a special place in my heart. I love my boyfriends siblings and how they consider me a brother 🥹🩷 it's the sweetest thing ever. I love all children, they're always so sweet!

I love my pets, I love my cats. They're so silly, even though I don't see them every day anymore, I still love them. They have caused me issues, but have also helped me a lot. I love my hamster, I've never spent so much fucking money on a hamster before. She's so special to me, I'm glad she finally lets me hold her and recognizes my voice. I love that my hamster gets to live as an elderly lady.. already over a year old🥺 it makes me so sad to think about how old my pets are already getting.

I love my boyfriends animals, they all love me and make me feel so much joy as if they're my own pets. I love his cats and how they come running when I call them and get extremely excited when I'm feeding them wet food. I love his dog and how happy she gets whenever I come back from being gone for awhile, she jumps and wags her tail. She is always so happy to see me, she loves all her toys I've gotten her and destroys them all. She's such a silly little puppy :3

i read a ton of non-fiction for academic and interest reasons, but i'm only considering fiction for this!

1) The last book I read:

I know I just said I was only talking about fiction, BUT I recently read Audre Lorde's memoir, The Cancer Journals, and I would highly recommend it. Lorde was such an incredible writer (i would recommend her poetry, too), and this book is half memoir and half sections from the personal diary she kept during and after her journey with breast cancer. Lorde was a self-professed Black lesbian feminist, and had unique and powerful takes on womanhood, cancer, and life in general.

2) A book I recommend:

I always recommend Perfume the Story of a Murderer by Patrick Süskind! It's one of my favorite books.

3) A book that I couldn’t put down:

I've been working my way through Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles and averaging about two days per book, so...lol. I would also add Carolina de Robertis's Gods of Tango, I think I read all 400 pages in one sitting.

4) A book I’ve read twice (or more):

I loooove to reread books. One of my absolute favorite go-to comfort books is Bambi by Marjorie Benton Cooke -- it's not about the deer, it's sort of a romcom? The characters are all so vivid and fun! You have the main character, Bambi, who is a very Anne of Green Gables type character -- she's independent, imaginative, a bit of a daydreamer, loves to dance, and decides one day to be a writer. Then there's her adoptive father, the Professor, who is a mathematician and just an eccentric little old man. Then there's Jarvis -- the poor poverty-stricken playwright with his head in the clouds that very clearly thinks he's the main character of this story (he is, kind of. He's the love interest, but not in the way you think). That was long, but it's honestly one of my favorite books! Marjorie Benton Cooke wrote a handful of really fun books in her lifetime that just never got super popular (I also love Cinderella Jane and The Cricket, which are connected but can be read alone).

5) A book on my TBR:

My fiction TBR is currently sitting at 141, so...random selection: Things Have Gotten Worse Since We Last Spoke by Eric LaRocca! It was highly recommended by a friend.

6) A book I’ve put down:

I have a rule where, unless the issue is stylistic and I just can't bear the author's writing, I have to power through 50% of the book before I can quit, in case it gets better later. A lot of times, this works, and I end up really liking the book! But one book I tried my absolute hardest to like and just couldn't manage it (quit at 70%) was A Certain Hunger by Chelsea G. Summers. I found the narrator unlikable in an annoying way and the story itself boring (how do you make serial killing and cannibalism boring??) IDK. It came highly recommended and apparently was super popular, but it wasn't for me.

7) A book on my wish list:

Let us Descend by Jesmyn Ward! It came out last year, but I haven't had a chance to look at it yet (fingers crossed my library has a copy by the time I have some free time to read).

8) A favorite book from childhood:

Silksinger, the second book in the Faeries of Dreamdark series by Laini Taylor. The series was never finished, but the characters from Silksinger hold a special place in my heart. One of the main characters is called Hirik Mothmage, for reference how much I love this book, lol.

9) A book you would give to a friend:

Ooh, good question. I recently gave someone my copy of Boccaccio's Decameron, because I think it's funny!! I really feel like if people can get through the language, they'll be dead laughing at some of the stories.

10) A book of poetry or lyrics that you own

I have a handful! My favorite is probably a collection of Edgar Allen Poe's works that's bound in a nice cover.

11) A nonfiction book you own:

Many, lol. Mostly digital -- I try not to hoard physical books unless I really really love them, because I just don't have the space. Something I read a few years ago and still think about often is Dorothy Roberts's Killing the Black Body: Race, Reproduction, and the Meaning of Liberty, which talks about how the 20th century (U.S.) struggle for reproductive rights looked very different for white women and Black women (for Black women, it was essentially the right to reproduction). Her newer book Fatal Invention: How Science, Politics, and Big Business Recreate Race in the Twenty-First Century is a great follow-up read.

12) What are you currently reading:

Currently re-reading another memoir, The Surrendered: Reflections by a Son of Shining Path by José Carlos Agüero. Picking up Pandora by Anne Rice as soon as I have some time for fiction.

13) What are you planning on reading next?

Besides the rest of the Vampire Chronicles, I really want to read Let the Right One In by John Ajvide Lindqvist (another friend recommendation).

he was one of the members that grabbed my attention when i first watched the mv for hot!! vernon hot era kinda hit differently but he quickly became my bias after i started watching content such as gose. i find his personality very endearing and love how he's not afraid to be himself. i think he's super talented and doesn't get enough credit in this fandom if i'm being honest. i was also drawn to him because we share so many interests and have a lot of similarities.

in terms of eras, home;run vernon will always be one of my faves. he owned that era no doubt. he's always the first member i think about when home;run is mentioned. rock with you, left & right, and fear are other vernon eras that i love dearly. for hhu songs, he really owned lalali and gam3 bo1 (sorry wonwoo😖) i will also admit that i have been loving him during love, money, fame. i think he suits this comeback so well. lmf intro vernon u will always be famous to me.

another member that caught my attention during the hot mv!! his stage presence when performing hot is literally insane i'm not surprised he became my bias wrecker so quickly. again, i am so endeared by mingyu's personality. he is such a sweetheart and is so kind and caring towards his members. not to be one of those people but i really do hate it when people say he's just a pretty face bc he is so much more than that😭

choosing a fave mingyu era is so hard omg but mine might be super? darumdarimda mingyu holds a special place in my heart fr i just think he's so iconic😭 i also really love him in left & right, hot, _world, and maestro.

Upstead was the reason I joined tumblr and started writing fics to begin with, and they'll always be my first love. Booth and Brennan were my first ever ship, so they hold a special place in my heart. However, Chenford has my whole heart at the moment ☺

I've been working on a third chapter off and on for months. I just can't figure out how to make it work the way I want it to. I just don't have the inspiration for it

Emotions, I guess? I think I'm pretty good at writing how a character feels and how their emotions affect them

descriptors. I suck at describing body language and movement

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I've done a sentence or two, but that's it. I took four years of French in high school, and when someone says "it gets lost in translation," they're definitely right. I used Google Translate for those few sentences, and Google Translate sucks are nuances, so I'm afraid that I wouldn't get my point across properly. If I knew the language better, I'd be all for it

If you had to pick just three favorite Degrassi:TNG seasons, what would they be? I have such a soft spot for S2, and not purely because I relate all too well to what happened to Emma's "White Wedding" hair :) I'm sending this to a few people because it's always fun to see different perspectives!

1.) Season 3

3.) Season 12

Seasons 1-4 will always be MY era of Degrassi even though I have favorite couples and characters across every generation. I saw them first and loved them first, so they'll always hold a special place in my heart. I think seasons 3 and 4 were the absolute best the first half of TNG had to offer. As for season 12, it was IMO the strongest of the rebranding era. Season 10 had a very strong start but didn't stay as consistent during the second and third blocks. Season 11 was uneven. Season 12 was pretty perfect and had a good balance of dramatic and lighter stuff. It felt much more like early TNG than some of the later Degrassi years.

But Inuyasha has always been (still is) my number one favorite anime of all time, and this song holds a special place in my heart because i would listen to it all the time after watching the show. literally. it's very calming and the lyrics are very becoming of strength, moving forward, and building courage. love it. i think it does well to represent Yuanwon-ie.

@iamliacamila - its a shame that this cover isn't on spotify, but for many reasons, i am dedicating THIS version of THIS song to the one and only Camila because i just know her love for Heeseung is strong....it is very strong. so when i hear this song (regardless which version) i think of her.

@silcry - I like this song for silcry because, the lyrics and the beat is groovy (now mind you, based off the vlives, i am familiar with heeseung's choice of music, and i've listened to this song way before i discovered enhypen, but i think he would like this song) but also...i listen to this song quite a bit when i think about heethan for each chapter. and i know how much my silcry loves heethan with these wonderful asks i'm getting. keep it up! <3

@vampiregirl215 - so when i originally was drafting the teaser for SE7EN, i was listening to this song as i have alot of type O negative in my playlist and when i was drafting up Heelel's character, this song was literally just playing in the background and not so much the lyrics, but the beat of it just helped make me develop that deep and dark vibe of heelel...which i know my vamp-girl looooooves heelel. So everytime i listen to type O, especially this song, i think of heelel. I am dedicating this song to her because i love how she expresses her love for heelel. lol.

I’m having feelings… like I love it when our buddies the Storm are playing against Sarnia, always a good time, but then again, Voit is continuously getting point against us. Like I love to see *my* Jr team thrive, but I love to see my leaf prospects thrive 😂 I’m conflicted tbh

I see where you're coming from. Ty Voit is going to be a future Leaf very soon, and I'm excited to see what the future holds for him.

On the other hand, I want Guelph to do well. Considering their awful start to the season, they did very well. It's been harder for me to follow them this year as I've been out of province for school and working for a different CHL team, and I've been following them quite closely. I was hoping for Guelph to do better in the playoffs, although the odds are mostly stacked against them.

They play tomorrow, and I believe in them. I was there for games 3 and 4, and saw them overcome a 5-0 deficit to go into overtime (they should've won that game, but the refs sucked).

Regardless of how they do, they'll always have a special place in my heart.

*This may seem a little obvious, but this post does include some of my personal HCs on how the characters act & look :]

5 Things Steph likes about Grace:

1. Her tooth gap. Steph thinks it's such a cute feature on Grace, somehow making her smiles even brighter.

2. Grace's enthusiasm. Steph really likes seeing Grace be passionate about things, even if it's not always a topic Steph is necessarily interested in she'll always make sure to try her best to listen, though unfortunately her mind tends to wander often (ADHD Steph cough cough).

3. A little similar to the previous one, but Grace's determination. She's very persistent with the things she wants, going to great lengths to achieve those goals. Steph sometimes thinks that Grace's ideas are a little... far fetched, to say the least, but she's always supportive :]

4. The fact Grace does arts & crafts. It's usually small things like making bracelets or sewing patches and embroidering onto things. For example, the strawberries on the bottom of Grace's jeans.

Steph has a small collection of bracelets Grace has gifted her over time. She doesn't wear them too often, but they hold a special place in Stephanie's heart.

5. Her organization skills. Steph would've probably lost her earbuds, her favorite hoodie and her English notebook months ago if it weren't for Grace, making sure they never leaves anything behind and that everything ends up nice and tidy.

Steph can't even count how many times she was looking for something and a few seconds later a slightly smug Chasity pops up with an item in her hand, going "Were you looking for this?"

5 Things Grace likes about Stephanie:

1. Grace admires how laid back and nonchalant Steph can be. Grace can't imagine just, not caring about things, so whenever Steph shrugs things off Grace is genuinely very impressed and even a little jealous.

2. Stephanie's style. As much as Grace might've argued that it's "sinful" or "unholy" to wear 'revealing' clothing or put on makeup, she has now somewhat come to terms with the fact that Steph is gorgeous, and there's really hardly any point in denying it.

The way Steph puts together outfits that are casual, yet all the small details in them come together so beautifully.

3. Her humor and jokes. Laughing comes so naturally to Grace when she's around Steph, small and seemingly insignificant comments that Steph says make Grace burst into a fit of giggles.

There are some jokes that Grace would deem inappropriate, putting on a stern face and gently scolding Steph.

But Steph notices Grace trying to stifle that giggle, and she just looks too adorable to ignore.

4. Steph's confidence. The way she's so self-assured in her words and actions, smooth talking her way in and out of things.

Sure, Grace is also confident (although some would just call it being stubborn) but Steph just has that extra charm when she speaks, her voice sounding sweet as honey in Grace's ears.

5. This is a very simple one, but how warm Stephanie is (body temperature wise).

I think Grace (like me hehe) always has cold hands. She doesn't really notice it but people always comment on it whenever they feel her hands. Stephanie on the other hand is almost always warm and you'll probably hear her bitching complaining about the heat if the AC in the class is broken.

Grace loves clinging close to Steph on cold winter days and Steph loves putting Grace's hands on her face to cool off a little when it's super hot outside :3

In conclusion, I think they're complementary opposites. Some things they can agree on, while in other places they're totally different but they'll be there for each other no matter what :]

This song specially reminds me of the time I went to see them live here in my city. Screaming through the tears the verse of "The darkest night" is an treasure of a memory. There's nothing like listen to your favorite band live, and 5SOS was my life. I remembered this song out of nowhere and now listening to it just brings back all the memories and all the emotion that comes with it. I can't help buy feel nostalgic about them. I loved them deeply and I felt so linked to them. They were my safe and happy place, and getting to see them is definitely one of the greatest things that happened to me. I remember that I almost lost my chance to see them since I didn't get the tickets on time, but suddenly they put out more tickets and I could get them. I remember how I cried when tickets sold out at first. Cried a lot for days, weeks even. Because I connect a lot with music, and at that moment they were all to me, so it was more than just a concert, to me it was an experience that I had to have. It was mine, I knew it. And I even prayed for it. And out of nowhere they restocked the tickets. I was so happy, my wishes were listened and I could achieve my dream. Anyways, listening this song again just brings back them to me. They'll always be an important part in me, even if I very rarely listen to them now, they're image and music still holds a lot of emotion in me, and their always be treasured in my heart <3

Listen to music, enjoy life, do the things that make you happy because those are the memories that you're going to hold on to when you look back.

Listen, there are far too many favorite books in my life, literally so many that I don't think I could even recall them all at the top of my head, so I'll just list the few that immediately come to mind.

Anne Frank and Me by Cherie Bennett and Jeff Gottesfeld

So this one is from my childhood. I think I must have been twelve or so when I found this book and this would have been after I'd read The Diary of Anne Frank. I loved it so much that I must have read it at least four times over. I didn't know until later that it was adapted from a play, which I never got to see. It's probably my first historical time travel book and, being a history nerd, I was really into WWII at that age, so it was just this perfect combo.

2. Alice by Christine Henry

Alice and Wonderland has always been near and dear to my heart, so naturally I've always been on the lookout for various interpretations/spinoffs. Because there are so many, several are good and several are terrible. This one, however, put a Victorian Steampunk spin on things and was just different enough to work! I loved the versions of Alice and the Mad Hatter in this book and couldn't put it down. There are two more in the trilogy I've yet to read, Red Queen and Looking Glass, but if they're anything like the first book, they'll no doubt be page-turners!

3. Ophelia by Lisa Klein

I must have been in high school when I got a hold of this one and I'll bet it was probably senior year when we'd been assigned Hamlet in English Lit. class. Hamlet has always been my favorite Shakespeare Tragedy and so during this era, I was always looking for Hamlet-related books, but this one was told from Ophelia's perspective and I absolutely fell in love with her characterization. I think that this book is what the recent film (with Daisy Ridley) was based on. I haven't seen it yet though so I can't confirm that.

4. Unwind by Neil Shusterman

Yet another high school favorite! My friends and I all read this book around the same time because one of them rec'd it when it was brand new and the plot sounded very intriguing. Dystopian was all the rage at the time and ofc I was very much into the genre. Anyway, the characters were all interesting, which is something that doesn't always happen in every novel and the plot never really had any lulls in it. There was just constant obstacle after obstacle and it made it gripping and exciting and really this will always be a classic to me.

5. Mossflower by Brian Jacques

If you were a fan of the Warriors series and other animal-based books growing up, then this series is worth checking out! Jacques created this intricate and thriving mildly anthropomorphic universe of animals who live in a bit of a fantasy setting and reads a bit like Arthurian legends. This is the prequel book to the first in the Redwall series (which is where I recommend starting) and sets the stage for a charmingly fantastical woodland world of adventure. While I haven't gotten to read all of them yet (I think there are 22 books total), it has a very special place in my heart.

i totally understand!! ur absolutely alright to think that! ^^ it might be hard hearing ‘their music has changed’ from old armys but i suppose it’s a difference in personality!

i’m an armycarat and i was an army first and while bts’ old music is going to hold the top spot in my heart forever, i see their new music as a change in their lives. jungkook was 15-19 back then so their music was heavily focussed on youth. their newer music changed to reflect the times. i see it as bts always wrote music to comfort others, so when covid hit their music took a sharp turn bc they tried to make it as comforting for people in those times. like PTD and dynamite having no meaning other than being happy, we all needed happiness then so i really appreciate it.

as for jungkook’s teenage phase. it truly is a huge change from his last self but i welcome his little rebel era only bc he never had a chance to be a proper teenager when he was one. he was put in the spotlight at 15 and, back then, bts didn’t have the luxury of doing what they wanted bc they weren’t as successful. so now that they’re secure, jungkook’s just making up for what he lost and i really admire that.

but of course, your feelings are absolutely valid and i’m glad you’ve found people you can give your heart to!! i hope svt comforts u when i need it most just like they comfort me. <3

personally i started to dislike their music when they released idol, then boy with luv (i never remember if it's with or in luv) was a big turn down for me, so it was pre pandemic. i felt as if they changed their whole style, even for the songs in korean, to fit with the american style so they could branch off more easily to the average non asian who isn't willing to give kpop a chance. on and life goes were good songs but i didn't like the albums they were in. they were in their right to do this, to change their style and i think it was okay for me to not like the change

i was talking to a friend the other day about this and i said the same thing to her, jungkook never had a chance to just be a regular teenager so he is doing it a little bit later than anyone else, so as long as he doesn't do anything immoral or illegal, he'll have my full support.

as for seventeen, i became their fan when i was at my lowest in life, ever. i didn't have any hm... extreme ? thoughts but i wasn't fine or even okay, i could perform basic tasks (shower and eating) that all on its own was a victory. they really were a source of comfort for me and they got me back into writing again, which was huge if you ask anyone around me. they'll always have a very special place in my heart, just like bts

i still have my albums and items and looking at them brings back good memories and i remember how happy i was

I think my favorite sim that I've made would be this absolute disaster, Ivory Alto.

The story I had planned for her never really got off the ground but she (and her story) still very much live rent-free in my head (I also recycled her for a Call of Cthulu character). I just think she's neat and also she's my favorite narrative punching bag <3

The sim I've had the longest is one of my first OCs ever, River Chell. River has been an OC I've had literally since middle school and she's gone through so many iterations I've lost count. Here's a screenshot from my just-for-fun save of her and her daughter Melody:

Both of these sims I've had in my game for a very long time, and while their original stories may never get told, they'll both always hold a special place in my heart.

I'll do my OC Colton from my original story! He's an awful horrible person but he's the foil to my self-insert character so he holds a special place in my heart <3

Questions:

What is their favorite movie? I'm going to say Cinderella from I think 1950 whatever year the original came out. He's really into fairytales and stuff though he will deny it, he's always reading up on the lore and cultural history and stuff because he finds the whole thing very fun and captivating. The original Cinderella from Disney is his favorite telling of the story with the happiest ending and before he became such a cynic he had a heart for wonder and romance

What is their favorite season? He prefers winter, since he rarely wears short-sleeves and easily overheats. Living in near Miami means it's not a huge difference in temperature, but winter is usually more comfortable.

What do they find annoying? Humans. He thinks they're the scum of the earth and will constantly be rolling his eyes in their presence. Humans that are overly excitable (Ellana) especially drive him up a wall. Also in general he's pretty serious and has a dry sense of humor so any especially carefree or flippant vibes will get on his nerves

How would they like to spend their Christmas or equivalent holiday? Quietly, with family. He doesn't like big groups of people unless it's family, whom he adores more than anything. He'll be something of a homebody around the holiday, not really bustling around doing every little activity but just enjoying the presence of the people he loves and being able to spend time with them

Do they play an instrument? If so, what? How good are they at it? No, he doesn't play any instruments. He's more of a visually artistic person. His sisters however are all musically inclined and deeply enjoy music while he couldn't much care less, but he does faithfully drive them to their concerts and make video recordings

What's their favorite meal to eat? Bro loves a good pepperoni pizza, but in the event that one is not available, he will settle for a cheeseburger.

Do they have a favorite video game or board game? Not really, but his friends do force him to play UNO pretty often (every other day) so he's developed some wicked tricks and skills

Do they celebrate their birthday? His birthday is the 21st of December, so he doesn't make a big deal of it since Christmas is right there, but his family always makes an effort to do a soft celebration, something small and personal since he doesn't like getting attention. There's usually a chocolate cake and a handful of unconventional gifts since, again, Christmas is right around the corner. Sometimes his sisters will perform music for him, or his parents might give a speech, or they might all go on an adventure to the movies or something

What's their bedtime routine? Bro just brushes his teeth. Occassionally will put on some jammies if he's feeling fancy, but his sleep schedule is kriffed to high heaven so he's lucky if he even goes to bed at all

What's an OC (or canon character) they like to spend time around? What do they tend to do together? He spends a lot of time with my OC Ellana for some reason, despite not liking her much (she on the other hand thinks he's the bee's knees and is on a constant mission to be his friend). Sometimes she'll pepper him with questions on random topics, sometimes they'll go out for drinks with their other friends, sometimes they'll just sit together and draw. He definitely appreciates her presence even if he doesn't like her a lot (at first). She's always there for him and can be fun to hang out with on the occasion. He likes not being alone all the time

What is their favorite movie? I'm gonna answer this one for my OCs Jay and Leila, for they are a package deal. Jay's favorite movie is The Mummy (1999)! Leila accuses him of having a crush on Evie, which he staunchly denies, like a liar. He also names his ship The Wrong Side of The River, so he can say he's on the wrong side of the river (if ya know, ya know). I think Leila's favorite might be The Princess Diaries, but she has a hard time picking a favorite! Joe reminds her of Jay

What is their favorite season? Jay loves winter. He likes cold weather, and the snow!! Plus, it brings back good memories of snowball fights with his sister and parents. Leila prefers summer, as she has very low cold tolerance. Plus, she loves swimming

What do they find annoying? *snorts* so much. Jay finds a LOT annoying, especially... people. His bottom three, so to speak, are humidity, people who waste his time, and his mom's brother. Leila would immediately answer Jay. But she'd be mostly joking. Mostly

How would they like to spend their Christmas or equivalent holiday? Jay likes to spend the time with his sister and parents, and his cousins. Later in life, Leila joins that circle, too. She, however, will be going to several parties. And probably dragging Jay with to at least one. She LOVES Secret Santa and White Elephant, and likes to go out and admire everyone's Christmas lights!!

Do they play an instrument? If so, what? How good are they at it? Jay does not. He likes music, though! Leila might have rudimentary piano or harmonica skills, though! Emphasis on rudimentary, though

What's their favorite meal to eat? Jay likes mac and cheese! The baked homemade kind, with bacon pieces in it. His dad made it special, and Leila learns how while they work together, and makes it for him! Leila's favorite food probably varies wildly depending on the day/month/season/mood she's in. But she LOVES a good BLT, or any kind of sandwich. She likes to put the most random ingredients together, which Jay thinks is madness, though he reluctantly admits they're usually pretty good. Usually

Do they have a favorite video game or board game? Mmmm, I think Jay would enjoy Splendor. It's big on strategy, which he'd like. And he'd definitely love Mafia/One Night/Resistance/Coup. Spy games like that! Leila would also love the spy type games, but she'd also LOVE Galaga!!

Do they celebrate their birthday? Jay wouldn't make a big deal out of it, but the women in his life will NEVER let him get away with that. His sister, Ro, will ALWAYS bake him something and show up with it, no matter where in the galaxy he's at, and Leila would make him his favorite meal, let him choose what they watch without arguing with him over it for 15 minutes, and get him some small present! She, on the other hand, REFUSES to work on her birthday, and buys herself at least one present. Jay's not the best at gift getting, but he'd make an effort for her

What's their bedtime routine? Jay's just gonna brush his teeth, and get in bed. Then he'll probably read for a few minutes before he goes to sleep, either work stuff or whatever book he's currently reading. Leila will brush her teeth, wash her face, and then probably has some skin care regime I would not know the details of. Then, approximately five minutes after they've both gone to bed, Leila will message Jay some random weird question like, are lobsters mermaids for crabs, and Jay will respond with GO TO SLEEP LEILA. Once they're married, she's finally able to ask them in real time, and he's finally able to throw a pillow at her

What's an OC (or canon character) they like to spend time around? What do they tend to do together? I mean, there's obviously each other! And what DON'T they do together? They're travelling the galaxy on a ship together, fighting the Empire, so they work together a lot, plan for missions. They'll cook together, eat together, and watch shows together when they can. And of course, they do missions together. This usually involves a lot of Leila talking over earpieces and Jay being like, Leila. We are currently incognito, I cannot talk to you right now
