soooooo I really really really enjoyed how much effort they put into making them like sad about their circumstances, the reality of it all, being a mutant and wanting to be accepted by humans,

Splinter not being a human to begin with but just a rat and quite frankly traumatized by humans all his life so very distrustful and doesn’t want his sons going through that or getting killed, and what tops the cake is that he actually tried to go out on his own with the tots, only to be instantly turned on, which just solidified the fear! even though he wasn’t just a rat anymore he was still cast out, still shunned!

but the turtles were too young to really remember that so they had endless hope, at least Mikey, Donnie, and Raph, kinda sorta Leo especially when April came onto the scene 🤭

WHICH SPEAKING OF THAT! Idk how I feel, super cute, Leo liking April instantly reminded me so much of 2k12 Donnie maybe a less intense version, all the scenes where romance was implied wasn’t so heavy (maybe slightly cringe) but still had me smiling so I guess I’m for it????? Still need to think on it more, overall my thoughts are : cute ✨ Leo was just being so cute 💀

THE BROTHERS WERE DRAGGING HIM OUT THO, like practically the whole first half of the movie, which is typical for tmnt, but gah damn 😂 it was so apparent when just Donnie, Mikey, and Raph would group up/link up, because Leo would constantly “rat” them out to the rat! Super different vibes from rise!leo for sure, that was kinda switched where Mikey was the one who couldn’t really lie… and it wasn’t about lying per say, just Leo being a pleaser? or a good kid? or wanting to do the right thing??? maybe that’s all the same thing as not wanting to lie 😂

anyhow, my favorite part had to be the very first fight scene the bros go into! Leo springing into action, being the one to propel his brothers into danger all because he wanted to help April (again so cute) get her scooter back! Technically their fault too! Anyhow they were getting whooped but also holding their own simultaneously, and just thinking quickly on their feet and helping each other out, it was all pretty intense and very stressful like where Mikey almost got run over twice 😨 I was like oml someone do SOMETHING!!!!! Thankfully we got big bro Raph, always coming in clutch! But yeah I just really enjoyed the first fight and them coming out on top! And right after being accepted by their first human aka April O’Neil!!!!!!!!! :D

There’s so much more to say, I could quite literally write down everything that happened in words but not gonna go there 💀💀 anyone wanna just gush about the movie?!? What was your favorite part??! What do you guys think about Leo x April???

ARCANE SEASON 2 SPOILERS!!

I have a lot to say.

1) Oh my gosh, I did NOT expect Sky to hahnt the narrative like this. I'm so happy they're using her for this, I was getting bored of people saying she was a wasted character when it was obvious they were setting up something. I also wanna add (which is a little bit of a tangent but wtv) that this, to me does not confirm that Viktor had a romantic interest for Sky necessarily, but to me it shows that he did CARE about her a lot. I was getting a little upset at discussions saying that Viktor simply never cared for Sky and she only mattered when she died, since it made Viktor realize his effects on other people. She had way more of an impact on him than this (obviously, they've known each other since childhood). I don't believe he ever saw her romantically tho. Probably just go a lot more attached upon reading the confession she had written for him. Nevertheless, I am sooooo enjoying this sort of messiah persona their giving him (it lines up well with what we know of him in the games).

2) A part of me is a little sad that a Mel wasn't the one who died. Not because I hate her character, in fact, I find her to be very interesting (The stuff with her mom is ALWAYS so visceral to me???). I just think that it would have had a lot more of an impact on Jayce and probably given her mom more of a reason to be here. It also would have given the start of the season more emotional weight. Sure, I'm sad that Caitlin's mom died and I'm happy this is being used as a drive for her, but it just didn't hit me as hard as it could have. I have some thoughts on it is all.

3) Does anybody else find it kind of jarring how many musical moments there are? It's not that I dislike them or anything, but I liked that there were less of them in the first season so it felt fresh and unique to the scenes when there were. In the first episodes, I can already count like a good 3-4 of them. Just thought it was a strange decision.

4) Gosh, I am loving some of the new character's and their designs. I hope we see more of them. They look really good. In general, the show is just as, if not MORE aesthetically pleasing than in season 1. Everybody and everything just looks really nice and I'm happy that's something that wasn't slept on.

5) I really like the Sevika/Jinx alliance! OH, THAT AND THE LITTLE KID! I love the idea of putting Jinx in a sort of protector role after having every older figure in her life promise to keep her safe just to fail at it. At first, I thought it might not fit her, but I think it's a good decision.

6) Jayce and Viktor breakup part 2... Omfg, these two. THE HUG SCENE. IT'S SO... INTIMATE. The way Viktor was caressing Jayce's back, it's like the other was precious. I felt like I was interrupting something like HELLO??? "It was affection that held us together."

...IT WAS AFFECTION THAT HELD US TOGETHER. SAY FUCKING SIKE RN. I DID NOT WAIT THIS LONG FOR YOU TOO TO TENDERLY EMBRACE AGAIN JUST FOR YOU TO THROW THIS SHIT AT ME. OML. They make me sick. They make me ILL.

7) Vi is having the police effect rn (The oppressed becomes the oppressor). It was to be expected since yk, the games, but like I hate seeing it in real time. I hate seeing how little fights for it not to happen.

8) The Vi x Caitlyn stuff is real cute, but I'd be lying if I said I found the Caitlyn stuff to be very interesting at the start... I'm sorry, but we have so many things to deal with rn, how are we spending this much time over the poor girl's dead mother. It was just uninteresting to me, but it was a vehicle for the fun stuff to start, so I can't really be mad.

9) Seeing how the underground functions now that Silko is dead has been a lingering question of mine for a while and I'm happy that it was answered!

10) I was so worried the second intro wouldn't be as good and was even kinda wondering if they would just go for the same one, but I LOVE the vibes and tones set for the second! It doesn't beat the first, since that's almost an impossible task, but it's a fun treat and I am also not skipping that one when I watch an episode from now on.

11) And of course, the most important thing; EKKO LOOKS SO FUCKING FINE UGHHHHH HE FINALLY GETS MORE SCREEN TIMEEEEE!!!

Prologue - LOVE LOVE OML 10/10 introduction to the show (also amazing choreography in the production I saw)

Pierre - Sums up Pierre's character really well and sets up his cute lil character arc 8.5/10

Moscow - 😍😍😍 I LOVE MARIA OMG 11/10 love Natasha's yearning and also Sonya and Natasha's interactions with each other, also in the shows I saw in person Maria, Sonya, and Natasha were SO good together

The Private and Intimate life of the House - This song grew on me and now I really like it 10/10, Princess Mary sounds so good and I love her and Bolkonsky's arguments, only complaint is that the part where he loses his glasses isn't intense enough in the soundtrack

Natasha & Bolkonsky - LOVE LOVEEEEE 11/10 Natasha and Mary need to sing more together

No One Else - It so sad and sweet in person and its still good on the soundtrack 11/10 I just don't listen to it as much as the other songs in the soundtrack 😭

The Opera - LOVEEEE 😍😍😍 HELENE, DOLOKHOV, NATASHA, AND SONYA OMG, 11/10 Anatole's entrance is so GOOOOD, in the production I went to see the opera going on during the scene was SOOO COOL

Natasha & Anatole - YESSSS they sound SO good together 10/10 such a vibe, also choreo 😍

The Duel - OML 12/10 I LOVE this song so much, I'm down to listen to it anytime any day, DOLKHOV 😍, the choreo in this scene was also amazing

Natasha Very Ill - Not too memorable, but it does illustrate the tragedy well, short and sad 8.5/10

Pierre & Andrey - LOVE its so intense and I really can feel how broken Andrey is in the soundtrack and in person 10/10

But on a more serious note I actually really loved this show I like how they could continue to put problems in Hayamoto's relationship and continue to frustrate me even further to a level I did not know was possible. But it was good. I love Hayami and I love Yamamoto they're so cute together.

The Yamamoto older brothers are so silly 😭 Masami and Kaoru 's banter is so entertaining to watch and how protective they are of Chihiro and Hayami is so cute.

This actually kinda reminded me of both Ossan's Love and Our Sister's Soulmate in a way too.

For Akamine and Hanazuma oml they was so fucking annoying but I love them so much /srs like Akamine is so silly and so me even though she was annoying I really love her. I love Hanazuma's complexity and how genuine of a person he is. He's really cute - not talking about the way he acts. I love when these two interact with Masami and Kaoru I just wish it happened more. The wedding planning episode was genuinely so fun to watch even though they were all being annoying for no reason. Poor Koga though 😭

Koga was so special to me because one, NAKAMURA AOI, and two I genuinely really love his character. I like how annoying he can be and causing unnecessary problems when he actually means well and nothing is going on. He's smart but stupid for being so oblivious. I like that even though he's practically perfect as a husband, he lacks in housework abilities and even keeping up a good diet. I think over the course of the series, with how many times the other characters have brought him out to eat, he got a little more healthy. For me it feels like he lacks the feeling of wanting to be in a romantic relationship or any romantic setting so everything he says just sounds like it has a deeper meaning but really he's just being friendly. That being said I am so glad he didn't actually have feelings for Hayami in the end. Also bi aroace vibes are off the charts. Also think he should've held Hayamoto's hands THEY ALL HAVE TWO (not really Hayamoto is good on their own and Koga would not be the type to get in the way ((even tho he has multiple times)) of that unless they all agreed)

I also really enjoyed Hanazuma, Akamine and Koga's friendship. I'm kind of glad Akamine didn't get together with either of them BECAUSE HELLO??? LESBIAN?? and the three of them were just platonic but like they were so cute. I want more of them. Like that scene where Hanazuma is showing Koga his plan over the phone is soooo cute and then Koga telling him he worked hard in the end OH MY GOD HAVE MY HEART. I also love how Akamine does have her own genuine side like she can tell when Hanazuma is feeling really upset and doesn't say anything but manages to cheer him up in the end and she did that on purpose and I oh my god they're so special to me. When Koga came to the office and they got so excited to see him OH MY GOD MYEHEIWUWI THEY ARE SOOOO CUTE

10/10 will watch again for several reasons more than just to watch Nakamura on the screen.

As for animals, honestly i think he'd be like those dads who never wanted a cat in the first place - then falls in love (secretly) in his own time. i was in second row (thanks to @sokeakanava and @braindeadfern I'LL NEVER THANK YOU ENOUGH 😭), on Olli and Tommi's side, and there was basically no space between the barricade and the stage so we were EXTREMELY close to them! i experienced the infamous Olli Eye Contact thing™️ and lost my breath for a few seconds. just so you know everything you read about it is true. another Olli thing: during the show a girl asked him for a pick and he didn't have one so he literally went to tommi, asked him for one, and handed it over to her and i swear it was SO CUTE???

i couldn't take my eyes off joel because he's the most handsome man ive ever seen in my life but maybe im biased 🙄 i genuinely thought he was extremely charismatic but every one in the band is!

some other little facts: the venue was weird?? because it had this park area around the actual venue and we didn't even get in line until 5.30pm (with doors opening at 6.30); we sat around under these gazebos just chilling and minding our business. A FEW METERS FROM US the bands were just. minding their own business under their own gazebos. look:

those were the gazebos where the bands hung out and on the far left of those, if aleksi had filmed a bit farther you could have seen us. so we basically stayed there all day NEXT TO THE FUCKING BANDS who also had to pass by us every time they had to go to the bus. i didn't really feel like going to talk to them and ask for pics because idk I'm always terrified of bothering people 😅 but some fans who were with us did manage to get pictures and stuff. at some point aleksi put a chair in the middle of nowhere and was just minding his business on his phone and two girls went up to him. i followed the whole scene and they talked a bit, he gave them a picture and an autograph and seemed so so sweet my heart melted guys 😭😭

(actually when i got to the venue (around 2pm) and went up to Eda and Karla, while i was hugging eda she went "look who's behind you" and it was aleksi sitting under the gazebo and i let out a unsettling screech lmao i wasn't expecting to see them)

Joel, Niko and Olli got there later while the others were already there when i arrived. like I'm gonna skip telling you about how I felt when saw joel the first time 😳 i found it funny tho that he'd just posted that story with the Armani Exchange bag after going shopping in Milan and when i see him he has an Armani Exchange t-shirt on 😂

Alright so here we have a humanoid beast who's a scavenger so he pretty much eats everything, has blades that come of his arms so he's a fucking walking weapon, and the strength of three human men.

Then we have a sweet tiny bebe Y/N who gets really excited when she sees something on TV that she likes. But to be fair, that My Little Pony princess collection was a good deal.

So remember when D'Vorah's bitchass killed Baraka in Mortal Kombat X? If not, then looked up Baraka death scene MKX on YouTube I guess. I had to look that up since I thought it was Kotal Kahn who killed him lmao

Anyway

D'Vorah had finished the battle, preparing to end the Tarkatan's life. Yet as soon as she was about to react, she heard shouts from Tarkatan guards. As they ran over, Kotal Kahn and D'Vorah were now distracted.

Passbyers and commoners glanced over but ignored the situation once they recognized him as Baraka. They knew they had no business with the general and authority of their realm so they just walked on by. But, there was one commoner who gasped open seeing the hurt Tarkatan.

A girl about Y/H with worried E/C eyes, the H/C hair colored girl ran up to the general. "Are you okay?" She spoke worriedly as she gripped his arm and tried her best to pull him up.

She's fkn weak tbh. But she did her best to pull him to his feet. He wasn't knocked out, but heavily dazed and injured. He grunted as a response to her question.

Y/N frowned before she walked him away from the area and to a safe place.

Baraka stumbled as he walked with the girl. He was a very dazed but he could smell the good intentions off her, if that makes sense.

The two didn't have to worry about being attacked as no one wants to fuck with with Outworld's authority like that. So within moments, Baraka found himself inside a rundown building that has just a bed, a few small tables, a few clothes, and a storage cabinet.

Baraka laid on Y/N's bed as she examined the general. He couldn't smell any sign of hatred or bloodlust off her, just anxiety and a feeling of generosity.

But he couldn't help but flinch when the girl wrapped his wounds then pressed her small hands against his head and felt his body change.

He was forced to relax as his headache slowly went away, along with other body aches. He eventually passed out this way

Y/N was sat down right besides him, eyeing his whole body and counting his wounds. It hurt her chest to see an endangered person getting treated so brutally! Since Kotal Kahn escaped the Flesh Pits, Tarkatans had disappeared daily.

Y/N spent five minutes every 2 hours healing him. It was painful for the body to morph, even it meant healing.

In one of these healing sessions, the Tarkatan asked who she was. She introduced herself with sweetness lacing her words. Baraka was quick to find comfort in Y/N's voice, but planned on killing her once she was done helping him.

In another session, Baraka got Y/N to talk about herself. His replies were kinda dry as he just wanted to be healed quickly and be gone.

Another session, he starts to realize how innocent this girl really is. She keeps on offering food and drinks every session, and asks if he's too cold or too hot. And she had already explained how she knows him, and seems to really respect him.

But how can someone so sweet to someone so evil? When asked that, she cocks her head and says that he isn't evil, just really loyal and determined.

Also, she may think that he only kills only some of his opponents and those are all accidents.

One of the last sessions, Y/N seemed to have completely proven her innocence and cuteness. He could tell she considered then friends so he decided that she must be very lonely. Poor girl

But anyway, by the next day, Baraka finds himself completely healed. He wakes up to a good smell of an Outworld meat, idfk, presented and cooked by Y/N. Along with a cup of water.

Baraka found it tasted well, although he prefers the traditional Tarkatan cooking. And he didn't smell nor taste any poisons either.

Once finished, the general stood up and examined himself. Y/N kinda smiled sadly as she would return to normal life and she quickly got close to Baraka.

Although, if Mileena is considered acceptable than why wouldn't their kids be acceptable? Like imagine having kids who can both fight with fkn blades coming out if their arms and shapes teeth, but can also heal dangerous wounds in a day? Like- even if they don't want kids, that'd be pretty badass
