Spacekids parents updated into the shows style

Mary (Clover) Armstrong , Does Insurance from home and takes care of the house. Loving, stressed, energetic, and a bit dense. Wears the pants in the relationship. Mary’s goals is to have her family happy and healthy. She also likes to explore many hobbies.

Spencer Armstrong , Firefighter who works a lot. Makes dinner and outside work . Quiet, strong, boring to an extent, distant. Spencer struggles with being involved with his kids, and try’s in his own .. way.

Mary and Spencer’s relationship is a twist on the stereotypical house wife and working husband. Instead of the Husband being in charge it’s the Wife. Mary makes most of not all decisions in a happy go lucky way . She doesn’t get walked over , unlike her husband . This causes Mary to be extremely stressed with her family since she’s pulling all the weight , trying to accommodate for all her kids and her husband.

Mary and Spencer are both Allistic with 3 Autistic kids ( Mac , Sawyer, and Neil Jr) so it can be a struggle to find what her kids need. They are all on different levels on the spectrum , Neil Jr being the only one they can see is “Special”.

Mary and Spencer don’t always see eye to eye on every issue , causing them to argue a lot. She tries to keep downlow , not wanting it to cause her kids any more stress, but with Spencer’s attitude it makes it difficult to do. She is very emotional and Spencer is very unemotional, causing a lot of riffs.

The Glade

Spring rolled through the halls of Hogwarts in a rush. Everyone shook off the deep sadness of winter and reveled in the sun. The snow that had been falling oppressively all winter finally turned to rain, then the rain stopped completely and the grounds were open to all of the student of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. 

Lily and Regulus weren’t there though, they were deep in the forbidden forest hidden from the world around them. They had found this spot months ago, before the winter laid siege to the castle. 

One night when they were out in on of their clandestine meetings they had almost been spotted by Mulciber and his cronies so they had fled into the forest. The two had wandered for hours in the dark, finding horrors at every turn. That was until they found this spot. A glade of flowers and grasses, where the birds chirped happily and the moon shown onto the ground casting silvery marks onto everything. A winding stream ran through the center into a great shrine for a long-forgotten goddess who name hadn’t been spoken in centuries.

It was their little slice of heaven. It was somewhere they could go to be rid of silly identities like “mudblood” and “pureblood” and just be themselves. They could just be Lily and Regulus, young and in love.

Sometimes they would meet when the sun shone over everything blessing them with its warmth. Lily would laugh and tuck masses of flowers into Regulus’ hair, lilies and narcissus and primroses. She would beckon him into the stream and even though he was terrified of drowning he followed her in, he would follow her anywhere. 

Sometimes they would come when the moonlight filled the glade and the stars twinkled in the sky. Regulus would point out all of the constellations telling Lily all of the myths and legends associated with all of them. They would talk all night about theories of magic and the world around them. 

And of course they fell into a deep rooted love, who wouldn’t?

They filled each other with the most wonderful feeling to ever be felt by mankind. Their magics felt as though they were bursting out of their chests every time they interacted. It was pure potential constantly, nothing set, nothing real, it was all what could be if they tried hard enough. But this potential only existed in the glade where the world couldn’t touch them and mold them into the perfect pawns of its sick little game. Elsewhere, it was nothing.
